    Didn't fit

It is such a disappointment that the bra doesn't fit as well as I expected. It seemed to have everything I need - unlined (because it's summer), stretch lace (to accommodate my top fullness and tall roots), deep (for my projected conical breasts) and a real plunge (for my close-set breasts with centre fullness). It turns out I need a bigger cup size since there was some quadding along the centre. The gore is very low, but so wide that it sits on top of my breasts. It is even wider than the average balcony bra. I'm hoping to try this in a bigger cup size and maybe alter the gore if it fits right. Band runs true to size and the bra itself is pretty, I just wish it comes in more colours.

    • The wider lower gore is a big fit issue for me, too. Hoping your alteration works perfectly!

While I’m sad it didn’t work for you, thanks for this review. I need a really wide gore for a perfect fit so I’ll schooch this up my ‘to try’ list!

I'm disappointed that this bra doesn't seem to work for me. It feels too flimsy and not supportive enough - the straps are just elastic with too much stretch, and the cups are made of thin stretch lace, so my boobs bounce and move around too much. There is not enough coverage in the cup, I don't think plunge style works for my centre fullness. Also, the cups are too small for me in this style, I even wonder if the size label is wrong because there doesn't seem to be enough fabric in the cups. I wear 38FF (and even 36FF) in other Panache styles, but this bra seems really small in the cup and the seams are misshaping my soft breast tissue. I compared the wires to my other 38ff bra, the wire width is close but the wire length is much shorter on this Andorra plunge, and the gore is much lower. So it seems I need a higher gore to support my centre-full breast shape.

  3. This is the first unlined bra I've had that doesn't have lace-gape near the straps!

The cups feel a little wide and shallow, and smoosh the apices of my breasts a bit, but the cups also give me a nice, round shape. This is definitely *not* a cleavage bra for me; it does give a bit of a minimizing effect. But it also lifts and supports my breasts nicely.

The wires follow my IMF right at the gore, but most of the wire is set wider, and doesn't quite accommodate my immediate projection.

All told, however, it's the best fit I've had so far and I am in love with stretch lace!

Just as comfortable as the 28D - Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) , with a snug band and nicely adjustable straps and pretty okay slightly wide wires. The lace still slides a little though. The shape is certainly an improvement over the Fullcup imo. The blue is beautiful.

This is such a lovely relaxing/around the house bra. I could do with more immediate projection, more lift, and a bit shorter of cups. This bra really doesn't give much lift or support at all. The wires are also extremely firm and cannot be bent. They were quite painful when I first got the bra, but either they've broken in or I've gotten used to them. The band runs tight for a 28 (always nice). Overall, for the price point (on Amazon or Ebay) this is a great bra. I don't know that I'd buy more than one, but this is a nice addition to my bradrobe.

When I first put it on, this bra felt like a dream. The stretchy lace is very forgiving on the shallow upper portion of my taller roots. However, within in an hour, there was wrinkling along the horizontal/diagonal seam. If I was just a little more projected, I think this would work wonderfully, but it's just not quite shallow enough. No more horizontal or diagonal seams for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

UHG! This does not have the same shape as the full cup! I am really disappointed because the full cup was too pointy for my preference and while this one isn't pointy, it doesn't fit the the Andorra full cup https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I think I would need a more tear dropped shape root and more upper fullness? I'm really not sure though because it almost fits until I exhale and then I can't fill the top. I'm really upset that this bra doesn't work because I really really wanted the full cup to work and this was supposed to be a great choice if the full cup was pointy for your tastes.

    • Ya know, you can't fault them for their colours. They are outstanding. Too bad about the change in shape, though.

    • 1

No kidding! Their bras are soo pretty that I'd consider see through tops for them!

    • 1

Seriously! I think it would be a great look.

A lot has been said of the Panache Andorra, both the full cup and plunge versions. I began my properly fitted bra journey two years ago, and I bought this purple 30F Andorra Plunge maybe a year and a half ago. By now, August 2014, the Andorra has justifiably achieved iconic status in the full bust community.

I've worn it five times, max. To be honest, I think I've worn it twice out of the house.

It's taken this long to accept I can't wear a 30 band in the Andorra comfortably. Wear an extender? The sides are too low as it is, both in underwire and wings. An ... extender would in effect narrow the cup width and exacerbate underarm bulge. I've concluded my roots are of medium width, but my Tail of Spence makes itself visible with too low sides.

The gore is low enough for my close set breasts. It is, however, too wide. I could take it in, but that would have the effect of shortening the band about an inch.

The deep, clear, saturated purple; the all lace cups; the super light materials--you understand why I've held onto this bra, right?

As a result of the too tight band, the gore stabs me. In a band size up, this wouldn't happen. It's the gore width I would have to alter in a 32E sister size or, to get higher sides maybe, in a 32F.

The boobs themselves look perfectly encased and shaped. I have no complaints about the front and side views. I get projection without pointiness. As a balconette, the Andorra will not give the somewhat minimized but super rounded profile of a half cup bra. I used to obsess about the half cup profile, but now I focus on decent projection with a gore low enough not to hurt.

  9. Another bra that's perfect for the inbetweener sizes like me (currently 29" underbust), but would not work for someone who's really a 30 band (though you might be able to stretch it just enough, it would likely bend the wires).

Very pretty and the lace is nice and soft. I was very pleasantly surprised by this bra. I'd seen it on amazon for a while where it just looks awful on the model. I went to Intimacy recently, where they brought it for me to try on. So unbeknownst to me, I tried on the same bra that looks awful on the model, and it looks great on ... me.

Definitely not really projected, but again is too pretty to mind (I prefer forward projection).

I would recommend it to anyone who prefers a firmer band, but I'd say that so far in my Panache experience, they seem to run tight in the band. Good for me and my inbetween size, but not good for people who are the usual band sizes. If I really needed a 30, I'd probably have gone for a 32G and worn it on the middle hook. I know this is kind of bra sin, but not everyone is strictly a certain size and sometimes you just have to make due.
