  1. Delphi (6411)

The bra is padded, and there’s one vertical seam in the middle. This pushes the breasts into it, and thus gives a forward and projecting shape, moreso than anything else I have tried. The band is continuous, offering good support despite having a thin band with only two hooks. Straps are halfway adjustable in the back. In the front they are much wider and a soft satin, though I don’t think I’d call them padded.

The band is on the tight side and the cups are open at the top. I’m shallow profiled, so I don’t easily get Marie Antoinette cleavage, but this bra does a heck of a good job. Some days there is a little gap at the top, but if I attempt to put all my migrated tissue into the bra it’s an excellent fit. If you’re between sizes, order up a band. The straps adjust short enough for me (often a concern) and the satin is comfortable, although wide.

    Didn't fit

This is the next step in my bra-fitting evolution. This bra succesfully avoids all my regular problems - the top isn't too tight, the wires aren't too wide, the cup centre isn't too far to the underarm. It gives a fantastic round shape and the bust seems a bit larger in this bra (but this can be due to the larger size, this is the first bra I've bought after my breasts have grown) I love it.

It looks really, really prety. I have it in teal and it's a very lovely color which goes nicely with the golden threads in the lace, the band is made of ... stretch satin which gives it another touch of luxurious feel. Only downside is, it shows under light clothes. Be carefull with hooks and similar things as they tend to get stuck in the lace. For this reason I always wash it by hand.

There's a bad thing I have to tell, though. The band was on the looser side since I've bought it and it stretched out quite fast to the number I've given. 70cm on a 70 band is not good. I could do with a tighter band, but the G cup is the largest made in this design and I'd need larger one if I'd go down a band size. It's a shame because the cups are such a perfect fit. I guess I'll have to subject it to my sewing machine sometime soon. But I'd be buying more despite this problem - the cups fit so wonderfully as I've never experienced before.

    • If you found this bra to be a good fit, there are a few styles by Cleo (another Panache lines) that you might like. They come in cups larger than a G.

Tiffany is a plunge bra with very little coverage and a wide center gore, which can make it a puzzling fit. The inside is lined with cotton which makes the cup extra comfy. Each cup has one vertical seam. However, I didn’t feel supported in a 32G because the band ran quite loose- I could do up the back easily on the tightest hook. When I did that it looked pretty good, but it wouldn’t last, as I felt unsupported. Since I have soft tissue I wonder if I’d fall into the middle after a few hours, although the bra provided good lift for my separate breasts. This ... is a tricky shape, I think, and the bra isn’t made in 30GG so I simply returned it.

The black satin has a lovely sheen all over the bra, around to the back of the band, and the hooks are a contrasting metal color. A big gauzy bow adorns the gore, which I’d remove as it seems less sophisticated than the rest of the bra. One front seam is a cup seam, but there are two additional satin seams on the front that aren’t part of the construction, which I think looks retro.

This bra is almost perfect! Beautiful lace in a striking coral color, very firm side wings and back band. It gives a great, rounded uplifted shape that Masquerade does so well.

*Note, however: this is the smallest 32 band I have ever tried on!* It only stretches to a maximum of 30 inches, and I can wear it on the loosest hook with an underbust of about 28.

Be careful if your breasts are very close together. The center gore is a little too wide for me, and it pushes the cups forward a bit, reducing the support. The straps are also slightly too wide-set. Straps are only semi-adjustable. However, it still looks great, it is just not quite a perfect fit. I wish they'd make it in continuity colors.

Alas, this bra is not for us, imaginary friend with similar boobs.

The style is a padded half-cup, very unforgiving of too-big, and Cleo already runs a little small on us. What were we even thinking?

(The answer, of course, is that it was both cute and cheap. We could not help ourselves. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> )

This bra will be going straight back to the seller on eBay, where they will hopefully have more luck. But at least we got some photos and measurements and data out of it, right?

Pros: Gorgeous stretch satin fabric! Great shape! Very comfortable and very sexy! Band fits true to size.

Cons: 32FF too small, 32G slightly too big... I wear it with cookies and it's fine. Cups could be somehow closer together? Perhaps it's that the part where the cups are deepest is too far spaced.

Updated on Mar 11, 2012 Flag this

    • It looks like it's not filled at the bottom and the wires are too wide... On the photo cups look like they were too big and the band too low. Are you able to pull it up? How does it affect the cups?
When the width of wires is the issue, experimenting with size, especially band width, may help.

    • At the time of that review, a 30 band would have fit better. When pulled up, the cups were actually too small. But the entire bra was sliding down, since my breasts are high on my chest and the band was loose enough for it to move. A 30GG would have been better then, and a 28HH would be optimal now... but the bra only goes up to a G cup.

This bra originally came in hot pink. The next season, it came in a gorgeous dark purple, which was the only thing that changed about it. My older one is ~8mos old by now, and the elastic on the older one is only half an inch more stretched than the newer one (whose measurements are featured here).

This bra creates a fantastic shape under my clothes; my husband adores it. I love it so much, I forgave my hatred of pink because I just had to have this bra.

Gorgous Bra! This is the Silver and pink color way! Wish it fit! Nice high apex. Nice projection, deep enough so the cup doesn't fold but shallow enough so that it pushes the breasts up. Nice plunge. Band is very tight and the fact that it only has 2 hooks per column make it seem tighter. Doesn't cut in under arm. The lace on top makes it cut in slightly.... But the cup material has enough stretch/movement to it that if the lace was removed it would make it more open on top. The lace looks simple to remove.

Suggested for. FOB close or wide set breasts. I feel like it would fit a wide range of shapes

This bra is pretty close to perfect. The fabric is so smooth and comfortable, the cups are moulded and lined but not padded, and the look of the bra is timeless. I ordered it in a 32 G and should have got the 32 FF due to lack of breast fullness, but it is still surprisingly wearable because of the shape of the cups. They are high on the sides with a nice plunge, but seem to conform to breast shape well rather than being too stiff. With that is mind I would maybe recommend it if you find yourself dealing with slightly different cups sizes throughout the month as this seems like it would accommodate that easily. The band runs big, at least on the bra I got, and I would recommend sizing down.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about this bra. It fits me better than most plunges, but I feel I would have gotten a better fit with a 30H. This is my first experience with Masquerade, but it seems looser in the band and smaller in the cup than most of the Panache bras I have tried. It is hard to know if my fit issues are more related to poor size or the shape of the bra; my breasts always try to meet in the middle regardless of what bra I wear, and plunges just make it easier for them, so I tend ... to avoid them.

I really wish I wasn't conflicted about the fit, because the aesthetic is fantastic! It looks expensive and sophisticated, and the white gives it a special occasion, bridal kind of feel. I usually feel so bored in white bras, but I really like this one. The cups are soft satin, and lined with cotton; the straps are the same satin as the cups and they are narrow without being uncomfortable. I wish the band was wider with three hooks; that always gives me a more secure fit, but overall, this is a really nice bra. I'll be on the lookout for more Masquerade bras.

There are a lot of great things about this bra. First of all, appearance wise, it's beautiful. The inside is also very soft and comfortable. I appreciate that the bra does not come up too high on the sides. Size-wise I think it's a pretty good fit, but it is not working for my shape. The top of the cups somehow gapes and quad-boobs a bit at the same, which seems very strange. I think it's a combination of my shape and soft tissue.

Sadly this bra did not fit. I've been on the lookout for this bra ever since I discovered Masquerade, so when I found it after a year of searching I was excited to add more vertical two-part balconies to my collection. I have two Masquerade Delphi's (which are similar in cup style) in this size and they fit perfectly so it appears that Arquette runs smaller in both the cups and band size. The band is super tight and feels more like a 30. The material of the cups and band are very soft and comfortable though. The blue lace on the cups has a tendency to pill ... and I received this bra with the lace already fuzzed too. I've only washed it once but the blue didn't run onto the beige fabric. The straps are half-adjustable and give the cups a very stable and secure feeling with their non stretch front.
Since I purchased it from an outlet I'm not sure if this was defective but one of the cups has a weird point on the center seam that is visible under clothes. I also cant even wear this as is because this bra has a very defined apex and I look misshapen with my "cakes on a plate quadboob" and then the pointy cups farther down, if that even makes sense. This bra would have been perfect in a 32GG and I'm bummed my go-to size was such a bad fit. This is such a hard to find discontinued bra too.

I loved loved this bra, so sexy and pretty -- I would still love it, but since I've purchased it, I've lost a bit of weight and now the band size no longer fits me and these no longer feel comfortable. I'm here to try to share the love, and pass on a great and sturdy bra so I can re-invest in ones that are once again my size!

Wow. Narrow and projected. I'm impressed with the projection at the center gore.

    Definitely runs roomy in cups.

It isn't projected immediately at the underwire at the bottom of the cup because the molded foam is curved downwards to be sewn into the underwire channel. Despite the underwires having to sit below the inframammary fold the bra is very supportive, it has a nice wide banded design under the cups.

I love the kind of cleavage it provides, very tasteful with slight separation.

The only minus for me so far is the top edge that wants to curl a little outwards. I might alter it but the bra is so beautiful I ... might just make do.

Speaking of looks, people say it has printed on lace but the lace pattern is actually a part of the top layer of fabric. It is literally part of the fabric, it isn't painted or printed on. It is rather smooth and minimally textured. The bra is stunning with its light taupe satin fabric, black lace center gore bow and silver metal detailing.

From a comfort standpoint the construction and materials are great. I love the fabric choice for the band, it's a double layer of that nice silky swimwear-material like synthetic fabric that Change Lingerie likes to use too. It's a pleasure next to the skin. The side wing is double-backed with fabric for extra sturdiness.

The bra comes with removable straps but Bratabase didn't provide a place to measure them so here goes: 1.5cm, which is under 0.6".

There are bras that have received full marks in every aspect from me before but I think this bra needs a category above excellent.

I can't do the looks justice by just describing them.

Dark graphite satin with black detailing is a stunning combination. It reads darker in real life than on promotional images.

The bra is thoughtfully chic and embellished with soft lace detailing adorning the top of the cups, around the cup edges going up the side wing and as a fluttery detail on removable straps. ... There's a dainty picot trim adorning the vertical seams in the cups. There's an elegant metal filigree logo attached to the right side wing. It matches the hardware used on straps and the black and silver center gore button decorated with rhinestones. Hardware that's used is opulent and there's no effort to hide it, it's as if it's saying - okay, I have to be here, may as well look my best doing it.

The band is seriously firm. It would run tight even for a 30 band bra, I needed an extender to even get it on.

I think the cups might be a hint too tall and the bra a hint not projected enough for me but it does lock me in very securely.

I will be getting it in a larger band size.

This is so so pretty on. I love how it pushes everything up, and though it comes with straps I have never used them since the shape I get without them is perfect. I feel like this would be flattering for FOB, FOT, even and anyone without wide roots, as the wires are fairly narrow. I think that it may fit a little smaller in the cup, since it fit me more like my 32FF's than like a true G. The hooks are almost impossible to do up in the front and turn around if you have any wiggle in your midsection, but if someone else helps fasten them they work well. I imagine the shape would go very well under formal dresses, but I haven't had the opportunity to test that out.

I love the contruction of this bra - 3 hooks, tall wings and wires, it contains my armpit chub and is very stable. This is technically the loosest band I own, but the 3 hook width (ie extra grip) helps it stay in place. The wires are almost too sturdy, I need to get pliers out to bend them to my torso, and to bend the gore away from me. It isn't by any means an invisible bra, but the top edge isn't too bad under thin sweaters etc. I had to move the straps in by an inch, but they STILL aggravate my prominent tail of spence.

    • Every time I hear about this bra, I think I need to try it. Tall wings and wires are exactly what I need, and truly tall ones are actually quite rare in my experience.

    • You need to hurry as it's no longer made and the Panache Black line replacement model isn't quite the same.
