The 30FF Masquerade Amor Sweetheart Moulded Bra in Berry is larger than the same bra in the same size in the Sapphire color. This was a failed attempt to get high enough underwires on the sides to capture my side tissue. The bra looks like a decent fit only because the rigid nature of the moulded cups prevents wrinkling. I returned this bra.
I was really looking forward to a smooth cup bra in a gorgeous jewel tone. Unfortunately the 30FF Masquerade Amor Sweetheart Moulded Bra is too big in the cups for me. I thought going up a cup would help me get underwires high enough under my arms, to capture my side tissue. The excess cup space isn't visible because of the moulded nature of the cups, but I decided to return this bra. It's a shame, because it works well under clingy tops.
This bra is lined with a thin foam material, and seamed into 3 vertical panels, so it's not a t-shirt bra because you can see the sections. However, the seams are flawless and the construction and shape are gorgeous. It has nice distribution of the breast tissue, favoring a forward and upward thrust, resulting in some nice bouncy cleavage at the top with no quad boob. The fabric is satiny and the bra is simply beautiful to look at. It fits true to size and is completely comfortable. No cons, love this bra!
Masquerade Tassia Bandeau Bikini set in Black Zebra Top Size 30FF + Matching Brief UK Size 10. The following 3 photos feature my stylish and supportive bikini set. You'll be driven wild with desire for this animal print bandeau bikini! With gorgeous tribal inspired beaded halterneck detailing, how can one possibly resist?
This is a beautifully constructed set with the finest attention to detail which is clearly evident in each aspect of the design. This underwired bandeau bikini top features lightly padded cups for great shape and support and clasp back fastening. The wires are true to Masquerade bras and are standard in width whilst the ...cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. The cups feature a vertical seam construction and are completely smooth and seamless from the exterior. The striking tribal inspired beaded detail on the removable halterneck tie is echoed on the matching Tassia brief which features a flattering low rise cut with a high cut leg and comfortable flexible fit with good rear coverage. The fabric composition is polyamide elastane, and as with all swimwear and lingerie must be strictly hand washed. This is a Bravissimo exclusive and was immensely popular during the Summer 2010 Collection! Read more 104 more words
Fits very similar to Cleo Jude, but just a little fancier and more sophisticated looking. Cups do the same thing Jude does too, where they try really hard to crease at the bottom.
This bra is 2 cup sizes too small for me, so it's hard to give an accurate review on fit. The straps are partially adjustable, fairly narrow, have smooth edges and don't stretch a lot, which is nice. The band is similar, but a narrow band that doesn't stretch a lot isn't that nice. It's a gorgeous, elegant bra, and feels very high quality.
This is a beautiful, glamorous bra which gives a gorgeous shape, and my husband loves it on me. The cups fit well and give great cleavage, however the band is too loose now that I've worn it a couple of times. I bought this at the same time as I bought the @Masquerade Capella on the advice of the corsetiere who advised me that the 28 band would most likely be too small, however I now believe that I really needed the 28G. I still wear it on an evening out, but I generally find it gets uncomfortable after a few hours as the band just isn't giving me the support I need.
A pretty bra, and doesn't show under most tops despite the delicate black detailing. The shape is natural and rounded, and coverage is a little higher and with less cleavage than my usual Freya Deco (4234). At the time I bought it the store owner didn't have a 28G and also advised me that Masquerade ran smaller in the band than Freya and encouraged me to take the 30FF. It was fine for the first few wears but the band stretched out after while and I now don't wear the bra as I find the band is too loose and rides up. I have found this with all of the Masquerade bras I own - the bands and straps on their bras seem to be a bit softer and stretch out - probably because they are often made out of glamorous satiny materials. I like the bra, if I were to buy it again I would definitely go for a 28 band.
I picked this up from eBay because I had heard it was amazing for shallow/full on top breasts. I got it in 30FF in hopes that it would have a gore that is closer together, which would be more comfortable.
Pros:
Good quality; nice materials Pretty details! Surprisingly close to a neutral underneath clothing - I wore it under a creme and grey top and it didn't show Cleavage, yay! Good for shallow/full on top breasts Wonderful globe like breast shape
Cons:
Half adjustable straps - they fall off easily. The lace is a little stiff -it kind of gapes Gore is too wide and pokes into my breast tissue Wires are not quite wide enough on the sides for me- they cut in a little bit
Fits well for a strapless. if you're looking for a lot of uplift, a super rounded shape, or cleavage, this isn't the bra - it does fit like a bandeau but obviously with the support of an underwire. But it does a great job of holding everything up, and it doesn't show under clothes.
This bra doesn't work well with my shape. As with most Panache/Masquerade bras, the wires are very wide and that doesn't suit me at all. The cups are quite separate, whereas I'm close-set. Despite the cups being too small for me, the lace on the top wrinkles a little bit in places. I suspect the design would work well for someone fuller on top than me. The lace section of the cups is just lined, whereas the rest of the cup has very light padding. I would guess the band is a tight-ish 30 but it's so much too big for me it's hard to be accurate. The ...straps are only partially adjustable, which meant they were too long for me.
This bra is too dark for me as a nude and too pink. Given that the bra doesn't work for my shape either, I was pleased it was the wrong colour! So many 'nude' bras out there are very pale, so it's good to see one that will suit a different skin tone. Looks-wise, I very much like it. It's a classy and elegant take on a 'basic', and the matching high-waisted briefs are both comfortable and beautiful. Read more 90 more words
This bra is pretty much amazing for my shape! I traded a tempt me for it, and I wasn't sure if if would even fit, let alone look this great. Now it's one of my favorites.
Pros: -Great for shallow, medium root, close-together breasts -I get great cleavage -The fabric is so soft, very comfy -The design is beautiful in a simple way
Things to consider: -Shows through stretchy tops a bit (the top part with the lace) -Runs a little bit small (if you're in between sizes, go with the bigger one, otherwise it might not be an issue) -The top part can get itchy if the lace rolls underneath -The band might run a little big? I can't confirm this because I got mine used, and theoretically I should use a 28 band, even though I usually don't.
I read complaints about this bra being too tight. It might be for a true 30 inch ribcage, but as I am a 29, it fits comfortably. It initially felt loose and big in the cups, but when I moved around everything shifted to a place where I was supported completely. Honestly, wearing this bra is heaven.
Probably the most gorgeous bra I've ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately, this was my first foray into finding a well-fitted bra, and I undershot the band a ton. Couldn't even fasten it =/
This bra really doesn't work for me. I was attracted to the very low centre gore, as I have little space between my boobs so plunges are the most comfortable shape for me. However, the cups are too far apart so I don't get any cleavage. The straps are too long and the band is too loose so I don't feel the bra is supporting me - more just sitting on me! As is usually the case with Masquerade/Panache, the wires are wide and the cups are quite shallow. The band is very stretchy, which makes it quite comfy but not great if you're on the smaller end of your band size.
I love this bra!! I was about to give up on the search for a good strapless when I ordered this one. It was a perfect fit. Center gore flat, band snug, cups the perfect depth & width. The only con, and this seems to be because of how my breasts are shaped/distributed, is that the way my breasts sit in the cups causes a sort of puckering/fat roll in the breast tissue just under my armpits when I move my arms forward. but this doesn't bother me, it isn't really visible under a shirt.
I have had it for a little over 4 months and at this point ...the wires have started to warp just a little bit but I use it heavily. The band has stretched a little, as much as is normal. It still fits perfectly on the second hook. There is a bit of silicone on the back to prevent slippage, although it doesn't really need it (for me) that I do seem to remember causing a little bit of discomfort in the first week or so but after a couple washes it was fine.
if you still remember/have this basque, how did you feel about it without the straps on? i know you put that it was too big in the cup for you, but did you feel like it maintained the cup shape/supportiveness pretty well without the straps?
Emmeth It did maintain the cup shape/support well without the straps due to the boning; both when it did fit me and when it was too big in the cups.
yay thanks for the response! i guess last thing is did you think the cups were big for a 30FF? i found one on ebay for not too much and it seems like it could work in multiple capacities
From what I remember, the cups were pretty much spot on for 30FF (that was my size when I bought it).
Masquerade runs extremely tight in the band. You might like a 32 or 34 in this brand and a 30 or 32 in others :)
