This was a bit smaller in the cups than I expected, but it still seems like a precarious strapless - the top and bottom of the side panels have some non-slip silicone lining (thin), but none on the cups or gore. There are panels covering the hook and eye closures - all 3 columns & 12 rows - with eyelets that would allow for lacing up the back over the closure. I'm about 5' and found the torso part too long. Crappy plastic boning that easily warps (not including the underwires - they're a bit pliable, but not flimsy), but that's expected.
This is a lovely basque. Unfortunately, the band is much too big in the 30, my usual Panache size -- I need to do it up on the tightest set of hooks, and even then it's not as firm a fit as I would like. The cups are also considerably too small in the 30FF -- again, my usual Panache size. So beware of somewhat inconsistent sizing compared to the parent brand.
This thing is a real bother to do up -- there's no way I could get into the thing without help.
Pretty cofy standing, a bit uncomfortable sitting because the underwires begin to poke into the underarms - no real surprise there. The gore pokes a bit as well, but not horribly. The fit seems a bit tighter around my torso than perhaps it should but the cup size is pretty good. Certain postures are a tad gappy, but it's generally pretty good. I would wear this on my wedding day but for the fact that it shows in the back, above the cut of the dress. Damn David's Bridal for taking 1.5 months to order a dress... now I seek a good strapless.
