This bra would fit perfectly except for the straps. The band is comfortably tight without digging, the gore tacks, and my breast tissue fills the entire cup comfortably. The underwire doesn't dig anywhere and there is great support. But the straps are set too far apart and like to try to fall off, and where the strap meets the cup digs in and chafes my arm. Perhaps if the strap was a softer material, it wouldn't dig in as much. I may try to alter this and add a pad.

Pros: This bra has very soft fabric and feels nice against the skin. There are four sets of two hooks, I loved having an extra set of hooks. The color Electra Atm is very pretty. I have a very slight concave chest and this bra so far is the closest to sitting against my sternum.
Cons: Even for my narrow breasts the wires a just a little too short, I think. My shallow breasts did not fill out the top of the cup and there was really no support. It just covered up the natural shape of my breasts.
I love the patterns and softness of the fabric that Maidenform uses, but I have full on bottom boobs and I don't think this is a good style for them because though I get quadraboob near the bottom of the cup, there's still a little gaping at the top.
The wire for this bra is 1/2" shorter than the wire channel, and in my bra it tends to migrate to the back of the channel during wear, which pulls the center gore away. The wire does not poke my underarm even when it's at the back of the channel.
I have this bra in about five different colours, because at the time, it was the best-fitting bra I could find.
It's the classic bra issue: the band is too big and rides up, the cups are too small, and it gives slight quad-boob. The fit is close, but not completely correct. I went from these to a Freya Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223)](model:9479) in 30FF, and the Freya fits much better.
If this bra fits properly, it's a nice bra. It's a moulded-cup, so it holds its shape very well and prevents nipple show-through. It has a teeny-tiny bit of padding to provide a bit of ...lift to the bust, but not a ridiculous amount. The fabric is soft and comes in many colours, and even has matching undies, if you're the sort who likes matching undies. The undies, however, are made of the same polyester material that is on the external part of the bra, and it doesn't breathe. I bought one pair because it was so darn pretty, but the fabric makes them uncomfortable. The shape is comfy, though!
The straps are too thin for my liking; they dig into my shoulders, but this is in part because of the too-large band. The straps had to compensate for it.
The circle of shiny things glued onto the front is VERY tough. They don't come off, even with years of wear and washing!
All in all, if it fits properly, it's a cute t-shirt bra, but it's not the bra for me. Read more 144 more words
Had a $10 credit at Maidenform. This was the lesser evil of my choices. This bra is built solidly like a brick outhouse and the band is lined with soft cotton. The gore isn't completely comfortable for me, but I'm a splayed separation type, so your mileage may vary. Fortunately, the band runs tighter than normal for this brand, since I need a tighter band in 34DD since my usual size is 32E UK. Although not the perfect shape for me, it should be adequate for its job as a riding bra. It seems to me that this bra is more like a 32E UK/ 32DDD US than a 34DD.
Update: I shortened the straps, and it fits better.
My first DD bra & still my favorite. Very comfortable. This bra seems to me to fit more like a 32E. It is the only 32DD bra I bought that I don't quadboob in after tissue migration. There's a little touch of orange in a glass, but it doesn't show up under shirts. One of my go-to bras, and probably will be until it falls apart.
Cheap. Hilariously stretchy. Quadboob-a-rama even though supposedly it's a sister size recommended by Maidenform for 36DD. Falling apart after only a couple months of wear. So much boob outside the cups that it jigglehurts when I walk.
This is the kind of bra I wore for YEARS, and now I cringe when I see how tight the cups fit and how awfully loose the band is around my ribcage. Overall, this is an okay bra for a smooth everyday look. The band is way too big for me, so this bra offers absolutely zero lift. While bending, when I look down at the cups I see them literally pushing my tissue up, down, and to the sides.The cups pucker at their tips due to the loss of matter they just shoved out. These cups give me the appearance of being splayed, because they do not support front and center.
I bought this bra when I still was vastly misguided on what my size really was. I had first gotten several 34Cs which felt fine in the store, but after being worn and washed for a couple weeks, I quickly determined were not right for me. So, still reluctant to actually be fitted professionally, I made due by getting three of these 32D Custom Lift Demis by Maidenform. I really do love these bras. They're extremely comfortable, and the satin finish makes them feel very luxurious. Now that I've had them for over a year, I am starting to spill out at the top/center, something I've gotten used ...to with most bras I've owned, as I'm currently a 30F, and likely was at least a 30DD when I bought these. Obviously it's a very forgiving bra, and it actually fits quite well to the sides underneath the arms. I never had any problems with the underwire poking or causing any discomfort. The "custom lift" comes from the little ridge of padding at the bottom of the cup, with each cup size featuring a different size of padding. Honestly, whether it just be the shape or size of my breasts in the cup, or the shape or size of the padding, I can't really notice much difference it makes, and most of the shaping and lifting comes from the molding of the bra itself. It does provide a nice shape though, and the material and edge of the cup lay nicely underneath any t-shirt. All in all, I can't really say how the fit would work for someone who is actually the size the bras are meant for, but if you do manage to fit into it, it's a comfy, reliable bra fit for everyday wear. Yeah... I'm also of the impression that the little sliver of padding at the bottom doesn't do anything, but padding notwithstanding, the bra is still able to offer a nice lift!
This was my workhorse bra for years, did everything in it. I prefer the smooth, round shape it provides so I'd just keep buying them after one would die. Now that I know better, it wasn't the best fit for me: I need more projection than the shallow cups can provide. It worked well for me back when I was smaller and a true B/C cup though.
Comfortable, plain, smooth bra. The straps ime are usually the first thing to go with constant use. They stretch out over time.
My height (5'2") didn't seem to work for this initially with the straps worn in the conventional way. The wire came up high near the armpits and the cup coverage was too much. The wire is more U shaped than Nike swoosh shaped. I suspect this would have worked better if I were not slightly asymmetrical and slightly conical, as the wire dug in more on my smaller breast side, where I can't quite fill out the bottom of the cup as my inframammary fold is slightly higher on that side. The gore wore on my xiphoid process rather than regular sternum area because there was a sort ...of fleshy strip right above my xiphoid process that kind of forced the gore to stay low. I wore this for one workday with the straps in regular (not criss-cross) position. The straps started slipping after half an hour. Today I retried this with criss-cross strap position, and it is working a lot better, but the cups are still higher coverage than I need. If I'm not careful on position, the cup cuts a bit into my tail of Spence. The straps are not slipping, though. The wires sit better in my inframmamary fold, I don't feel a gap in the cup this time, and though there is a very small amount of quadding near the center, the gore isn't digging in. The band was still right, especially the dental-floss like bottom of the band, but everything feels distributed better with the straps in the criss cross position at the bottom of the bra band in back. I have since tried this bra with a non-elastic extender to add an inch, and wear has been much more bearable. This was bought on sale for $17. I suspect it was a return because there were already creases at the bottom of the cups at time of purchase. I probably would not have paid full price for this, but the quality was sufficient for the sale price.--After wearing 5 more times, the bra has become more comfortable. The gore floats off my sternum compared to the Comfort Devotion 9404, and while cup fitment is pretty decent (the underwires always run a little wide for me), the construction of the bra I have some issue with. Maybe it's just the black lace version I have, but there is more area of lace over the cup than the surface area of the cup allows for. This causes wrinkles that are VERY visible through my shirts. The underwire runs a little wide for my breast shape, but this is the only bra I've worn for a good 7 years or so. I just wish the cups weren't so tall, and that they had more patterns in my size
