Pretty comfortable. I don't usually like push-up cups, the extra padding is confining. But this bra's padding feels better than most push-ups. I wear it on the tightest and middle hooks. It's a pretty basic bra, so I don't have any cons.
I've had this one for a while. I don't know if it stretched out since the band is a thick strip of soft fabric, the same fabric the bra cups are made of. It's quite comfortable. It has a front closure which is my favorite thing about it. When I wear it, the cups or maybe the under band curls up under my breasts. Which is sort of uncomfortable and looks weird under very thin and tight shirts. It's all white so it can go under any color. Overall, it's perfectly fine.
I'm mostly FOB and center-full, fairly close-set with indenting/deflation near tail of spence, and pretty narrow-rooted with some height and some projection.
[Disclaimer - I have only tried it on]
PROS: - Very soft! - Stretchy
CONS: - Edges don't really lay flat so I think if I were wearing a tight shirt, they would show - Might be too stretchy
I don't think this is my size but I will definitely get it if they have the right one.
My usual size is a 30DDD but that wasn't available so I sister-sized. I'm still figuring out my shape and I don't think I'm very suited to t-shirt bras but I still wanted to try. I believe I'm mostly FOB and center-full, fairly close-set with indenting/deflation near tail of spence, and pretty narrow-rooted with some height and some projection.
CONS: - Gore doesn't tack - Projects very east-west so lots of empty space there - Fabric around wire lifts up - Too tall so the bottom of the cup doesn't get filled - Cups too far apart for me
I think this would be better for people who are very projected and have outer/upper fullness! It was definitely the completely wrong shape for me but could be okay for someone else.
This bra is my sister in law's that she got from @Bare Necessities' mail order. For some reason it was a week or 2 late. But at least it made it ! So, too me, it seems like a cheaply made bra. The straps are 2 flimsy peices of elastic. And the band is so thin and unstructured. 2 hooks in the back seems to me would be very un-suportive. The cups are no doubt push ups. 2 thick foam underwired push up pads. I think my sister paid $31 which was marked down substantialy. But then there is the shipping . My sister in law likes the bra. (her name is Dina btw) I guess it works for her which is the important part. Plus she bought it! : ) @Maidenform has seen better days if you ask me!
This bra band is spot on. But the cups run small. I would suggest a 34C to try this model. The cups cut into the top of my breasts and the bottom of the cups are not filled (too shallow).
A bit too small but good bra for the price, especially when you get it on sale https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
This is WAY too small for me, but I was looking for a strapless bra for some reason - extremely last minute - and this is the only one I could find. It's a decent strapless bra, and I appreciate the straps that are included. You can attach them regularly or you can turn the bra into a racerback. One thing I liked was the wide elastic along the top and bottom of the band/bra wings; I felt like it helped the bra stay in place more securely.
Quality: -I've had it for about 2 years as of now and it's held up extremely well. The band hasn't stretched too much from before I think, the underwire is fine, there are no loose threads and the cups have kept their shape. I've been pretty cruel to the poor thing too (Putting it on wrong, washing it in the machine, etc.) It's a great bra, just the completely wrong one for me. I'd totally recommend it if you're looking for a good budget bra and you fall into the size range! I think it maybe it has been discontinued though...
Comfort: -The material is so comfortable -It does have a U ...shape back -The straps can convert to racerback -3 hooks -The wires were a bit uncomfortable, but again it's the complete wrong size for me.
Appearance: -It's a T-shirt bra but the style is cut more plunge than full coverage (could also be because it's massively the wrong size for me) -Super cute looking, there is a small bow on the gore and just enough lace on the sides at the wings. The lace doesn't rub or get in the way of anything. Read more 79 more words
band too small, empty space at bottom of cup, like it's narrow U shaped and my IMF is a straight line on the bottom. quads on top. bruises at top of wire under my arm. Good under t-shirts
Compared to my other 36DDs, this isn't my favorite bra but only because it's dimensions are a little different feeling. The cups always felt a bit narrow and the straps would dig into the skin a bit near where they connected to the cup. The band is also on the tighter side of a 36.
This review is for the Maidenform Comfort Devotion Tailored Extra Coverage T-Shirt Bra (model 09436). I specify because there are several versions of the Maidenform Comfort Devotion (which, from the photos, would have a very different fit).
Pros: * This is moulded cup underwire bra. * The fabric is super soft - the softest of any bra I've ever tried on. * Very smooth - a good choice for T-shirt bra. * The underwires end lower in the gore than most but this doesn't seem to affect the fit nor comfort (on my shallow, wide-set, horizontal oval shape). * Wire is slightly padded - almost ...don't know that it's there. (However, this padding takes up a bit room inside lower part of the cup so may not be best for very full on bottom shapes. But could work as padding is much smaller than found in a push-up bra.) * Gives breasts a pleasing round shape (not too conical, projected, or oval). * Has great coverage of the area where the armpit meets the chest wall so nicely contains that loose skin in the high underarm without pinching with movement. * Wing height (band width) strikes the perfect balance between high enough to hold everything in but not so high that the wire or seam poke into the armpit. * Very reasonably priced (reg $24, sale $20) and easily available (Amazon).
Concerns: * Will the super soft band hold up to washing? Pill? Relax quickly? Don't know yet. * Only comes in 34-40 B-DD (US sizes). If they made a 32DD (a sister size), I would try it.
It's a keeper!
Have sensory sensitivity or sensitive skin? This is a bra worth trying.
UPDATE 10 months later: * My go-to tee-shirt bra because it is absolutely invisible under thin fabrics. Like it so much, I now own this bra in beige, black, and white. * Still a very comfy bra. Fabric has stayed smooth and soft. Padding still uber smooth (no wrinkles or lumps), despite machine washing. * Have been wearing about once per week. Is washed after 3-4 wears (fewer in the summer). Machine washed, cold water, inside lingerie bag, normal cycle, hang dry. * Band fabric has relaxed slightly faster than traditionally banded bras purchased about the same time (and worn & washed identically). I've noticed that axillary breast tissue starts to slip under the wires near the end of the day because the band doesn't pull against it as firmly. However, it's not uncomfortable due to the padding on the wire, but does make the top edge of the cup start to gap. * At this price (now $29 on Amazon) I don't care if they need to be replaced more often (since my other favorite bras are Chantelle's at $70-80 each).
