This is good for breasts with nipples that tend to point outward and are shaped like triangles, broad at the bottom of the cup and narrow closer to the collarbone.
Not comfortable for me or a good fit. (granted i am usually 36g, so 38ddd is too small for me, but as it fit more like a 36f cup, worth a try) The gore is tall, which doesn't work for me as I am closer together, and it doesn't tack on me at all. The underwire slopes too steeply for me on the underarm side, nearly vertical as opposed to a more gradual lateral slope. It causes a little "orange in glass" with wrinkling at bottom outsides of cup. I tried going up a band size, and down a cup and band size, but the cup still wrinkled down the bottom. There's an extra (wire) vertical last in the band a out 1 inch lateral to outside of cup. This is supposed to help with slimming and shaping, I think, but for my shape it was uncomfortable.
I bought this bra and two other @Lilyette bras in an emergency situation and I completely just grabbed and ran out of the store. This bra doesn't fit at all and I'm not quite sure what the actual cup size is. The bras are comfortable and the bands are pretty firm.

This bra was originally a 40C. I altered the band down to approximately a 34DDD. When the band was its original size, it measured 32.5" unstretched and 44" stretched.
This is a bra from when I weighed 60+ lbs more than I do now and had no idea what my bra size was. I am currently a ~32E/ 34DD, so this bra is now only a little too big for me. It is very sturdy and well-made. It made me feel like I had things "under control" for a change back in the day.
Update: Shortened the band to 28" unstretched, 35" stretched. I guess that makes it a 34DDD ...now. Since the cups fit ok now, I think the cups were undersized to begin with (this bra was tight back then, despite my rib cage never actually being over 40" ). It seems ok to wear on the last column of hooks for now. This is one of my happy gore bras- the bras that I can wear the day after I wear a bra with a painful gore, even if they aren't the best bras ever. Read more 78 more words
I'm about 4 hours into my first day wearing this bar. Here's how I feel so far:
I tried this bra in a 36DDD (what I measured as) and it was a smidge too big in the cups. This size feels perfect so far. The underwires don't seem to be poking my armpits; however, the cups feel like they may be too wide? The underwire width isn't bothering me at the moment, so I can't complain too much.
I'm used to wearing padded bras, but this one doesn't feel too exposing. It's just the right amount of thickness.
The line where the lace and the main ...bar part meet up sits a little strangely, but it doesn't appear to be too noticeable under a t-shirt. Something more form-fitting may have an issue.
The gore isn't sitting flat against my sternum, but it's less than 1 cm away.
The band is so comfortable! It's not cutting into my backfat painfully, which is a definite win.
----------------------------- I've been wearing these bras for a couple of weeks now, so I think I have a better feel for them.
The good news is that the band still feels nice and comfy. No complaints about that whatsoever!
My biggest complaint is the underwires digging into my armpits (negating my first review). That's pretty much a constant battle. If they were just a little bit shorter, I don't think it would be an issue.
The second problem is the center gore. It's so tall on me, that it always feels like it's pointing outward when I'm sitting for a while.
The third problem is that I think the straps are too wide set for me. I feel like I keep adjusting them and can't find that sweet spot.
A fourth, and completely superficial, issue is that I feel these bras make my boobs look small.
The more I wear these bras, the more I'm realizing they're just not right for my body. Read more 222 more words
Unfortunately, I don't have a camera on a phone or elsewhere, so no real fit check for me. I've been reading through this forum like crazy, though, so I guess I can do it from description.
The bra I purchased is a Lilyette Enchantment 3section in a 34DD. I bought before I asked, like an idiot, so I figured I may as well wait for it to see how things go. Otherwise, I guess people are generally warned away from this bra because of some awkward cup fittage.
I will say that I'm very glad I bought this in the 34DD instead of the 34DDD/E like people were suggesting according ...to my measurements, which are in THIS post. Odds are good that had I gotten the 34D, it would have been a nearly perfect fit in the cup, because my breasts tend to act like water and take the shape of whatever cup I put them in. lol
Anyways, I found it in my postbox when I came home from work yesterday. I had half my clothes off before I even got a chance to pee! lol There are lots of things I really like about this bra (aside from the slightly awkward cup fittage, which I did experience). Love the four column, three row closure. I love the smooth, soft band. I love that it's very snug but still easy to S'nS all my sideboob into the cup. It makes a very nice, smooth line along my sides. The gore fits PERFECTLY, although there's a tiny bit of lace poking on my chest (I'll fix that before I go to work in this thing). The underwires didn't poke me ANYWHERE, which is a literal first time ever, nor do I get any awkward armpit boob or pinching or irritation there, period. I think insofar as the wires go, whatever these are, I hope the rest of my bras will be just like them in width, depth, and shape. Probably tomorrow I will put this bra onto my bratabase. I don't have time this morning before work to sit and measure the whole thing.
The only real disappointment was the cups, really. I've not managed to quite figure out my boob shapes just yet, but I've guessed at a full on bottom, shallow type. Unfortunately, I've done the "lean over and examine in a mirror" thing to find out my boob shape the other day, and now I'm confused whether I'm FoB or FoT, because it seems like there's more fullness on top than bottom when I'm leaning, but the tissue is very soft and squishy, and I've always NEVER fit into bras on the top (usually get gaping in a big way). So much for figuring that one out. If anybody can help me figure out my boob shape/type/consistency based off this, I will probably love you forever.
The bottom of the cup seems to fit pretty well, but there is a little bit of gape going on up top. Since it's my bra now, I may break down and see if I can't modify it a little bit tomorrow (on my day off).
Bras have always been very uncomfortable to me. They slip and slide, the straps fall off, the band rides up in back, I have to readjust the girls back into the cup multiple times a day, I'm either filling out the top TOO much or not at all (depending on the shape of the cup), you name it. With this one? I've done every test I can think of: the standing shoulders back, hunched over with my shoulders rolled forward, arms over head, jumping up and down, and even the "nap on the couch" test. And I was very impressed that this thing went NOwhere. In fact, I found it comfortable enough that I could actually take a nap in it!
Do I feel like it's a perfect fit? Not quite. But for me, at the moment, the only reason I'll say "It's good enough" is because of the gaping on the top, and hell, I can fix that. So, yeah, I'm going to keep it.
Next order arriving next week: Jezebel Women's Dazzled Demi. I have even higher hopes for this one than I did for the Lilyette. Read more 598 more words
This bra is so pretty to look at, but it fits weird. I know it's too big for me, so I'm taking that into consideration, but the cups are just weird with the lace that goes over the cups. It's a shame, really.
The band felt good, but the cups were just a bit too big for me. The underwires hit me about halfway to my back, and were high up in my armpit causing the hated armpit poking.
Best underwire I've purchased so far. I bought a different size than my true size due to the fit and inability to find anything closer at the store where I purchased. As I have done with most of my bras, I bent the underwires to that they more closely follow the indentation of my sternum. This has helped with the fit immensely. The fabric is very soft and the thick strap is quite supportive. It is described as a minimizer, but I feel it gives better support than any other strapless bra I've tried, especially the padded for lift style. I do find that the band tends to show with some of my dresses, particularly under the arm, but I think it has more to do with how high I wear it to get the wire sitting at the root of my breasts. Would certainly buy again. Think it will stand the test of time.
