This bra was originally a 40C. I altered the band down to approximately a 34DDD. When the band was its original size, it measured 32.5" unstretched and 44" stretched.

This is a bra from when I weighed 60+ lbs more than I do now and had no idea what my bra size was. I am currently a ~32E/ 34DD, so this bra is now only a little too big for me. It is very sturdy and well-made. It made me feel like I had things "under control" for a change back in the day.

Update: Shortened the band to 28" unstretched, 35" stretched. I guess that makes it a 34DDD now. Since the cups fit ok now, I think the cups were undersized to begin with (this bra was tight back then, despite my rib cage never actually being over 40" ). It seems ok to wear on the last column of hooks for now.
This is one of my happy gore bras- the bras that I can wear the day after I wear a bra with a painful gore, even if they aren't the best bras ever.
