Band is huge, and 1 layer of a pretty stretch lace, no power mesh. Cups too shallow. No quadding, but boobs weigh down cups so the apexes point down. Straps too wide. They are removable and modular though with small hooks. Almost not long enough. Super duper ridiculously beautiful fabrics, but this is more "lingerie" than support garments. Panties are tiny for a medium!! I have 38.5" hips, 32" upper hips/iliac crest/ lower belly, and 27" waist. These max stretch to 34 inches, so I can't get them past my hips without super squeezing and maxing the pretty fabric. Have only attempted to put on once and over other underwear. Both are new with tags. Will be re-selling as a set!
I loved this bra! Im a 28G but i like the cup shape of Kris line bras so always put up with the loose backs. they're a true 30 band though. Very nice narrow wires and decent projection - but with very good hold. So no need to worry about your boobs falling outta ya bra! Super soft and super gorgeous.
Bought this from WhenInRennes, so what she said about the aesthetic and quality. It's a beautiful bra. I especially love the print on the bottom of the cups.
The gore doesn't tack for me either, although I get only the slightest quadding when I press it down with my finger. The band feels fine when I first put on the bra, but after a few hours wear the bottom of the gore digs in and the wires do too.
This is another of those bras that makes the girls stand at attention. The shape is pretty rounded and very projected. The padding on the lower part of the cups make it easy to wear under most clothing.
Like my Panache Jasmine, this one is for occasions when appearance is more important than comfort.
Fantastic and comfortable bra, but a tad shallow for me, fits like a loose 30E or tight 32DD. Gore doesn't tack and quadding on my bigger side. Soft mesh/lace combination in a colour invented for me. The typical luxurious product one can expect from Kris Line. Still undecided whether to keep it or not, as it is just amazingly comfy.
The cups are a bit thick, but not as thick as push up bras. It also comes up very tall and shallow, which tend to cover up rather than flatter my short boobs. Luckily it is quite open at the armpit area so the tall cups and wings do not bother me. However I found my skin sensitive to the silicone lines on the band in very hot summer, perhaps because of the sweat. In cooler weathers it is pretty wearable.
I think this converts to 34gg/h in U.K. sizes. The band stretched out very quickly after a week or two I'm already on the third hook. Luckily there are four. Please note that the measurements reflect the band after it stretched. The first few wears it was nicely firm. The gore is another problem, I'm pretty close set and the bottom of the gore is pretty wide. I'm going to narrow it and see if that helps. I've tried a few other Kris Line bras and haven't had this issue with the gore
Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG
I bought this before realizing that Kris Line needs a size up because it sizes in 2 cm cups instead of 1 inch (2.5cm). So at a standard 30:10, I need a 65 H (Kris Line uses EU numbering and UK cup sizes - otherwise 65J or 30H).
It did arrive today and is a cup size too small. Interestingly, it ...is very loose band too. The label equates 30 with a French 80 instead of 75. It does have the same material at the back frame as my Empreintes and does not seem to ride up. The band also has four columns of eyes.
The construction and shape is a lot like the Cleo Lucy. This tends to be both cutting on my centre fullness and droopy in shape. I think it is because the top part of the cup attaches farther down the diagonal seem (closer to the apex) than where the strap attaches. Not so good for tall roots/FoT.
Straps are scalloped, but also embroidered in the front so full adjustment might be tough. Elastic at top edge of the cup. Cups made of two layers of no stretch mesh.
I ordered this on eBay and it was definitely not what I was expecting. I guess you could say this is a special occasion bra. It's clearly too small and I can't imagine wearing it unless I needed it.
The Brilliant style from Kris Line simply doesn't work with my breast shape. The profile is very pointed, breast tissue pokes from the top of the cup, and I just feel very awkwardly "squeezed in". The side sling (nursing support) even cut into my breast tissue and made a visible dent from the side view. At the time I ordered this, it was the best fitting nursing bra I had found, so I kept it and wore it for a couple of weeks. Then I ordered a different style KL bra from Zulily (the Fortuna), which fit much better. So I never wore this again!
The straps are convertible, which is awesome! The cups also get slightly closer together a few centimeters out from the band -- great for breasts that want to have no space between them whatsoever (aka mine). There is boning in the wing, about 2 cm back from the underwire. Amazing lift, like it actually kept my breasts high enough to hit the bust darts in clothes and basically defies gravity. Size seems comparable to a Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) in 30:10; this bra offers more projection and narrower wires. Band did stretch out after a couple wears, but not enough to change the fit. The seams may show under thin shirts, depending on the fabric's color. Does it fit me? Nope. The cups are too small for me, and I need a teeny tiny bit more immediate projection. Do I wear it anyway? Heck yes! It's hands down the most comfortable bra I own. If the cups were larger and deeper, this bra would be literally perfect.
Just love this bra: very soft, nice colour combo. Got it in the sister size from my usual 30DD in unpadded Krislines . Band true to size, have to wear it on the tightest hook. Cups projected but a bit smaller than usual for this brand - very soft material so quite flexible, especially the upper lace. Was wearing it for one day - very comfortable. Slight quadboob on my bigger side, but not enough to get a larger size I think.
Kris Line does it again with another really pretty bra! I love how their stuff looks, unfortunately I have not found the right fit yet. This bra is a little tight in the band for my liking, I can get it on but would be uncomfortable wearing it all day. And the cups are much too small for me, I need to go up at least two cup sizes.
Oh gosh, this bra is so pretty! Very soft satin fabric mixed with really gorgeous lace. I wish it fit me, but it is too small in the cups and in the band. I would say it fits like a 28 band, so a bit smaller than it's 30 marking. The G cup is probably accurate for that band size.
Great quality materials, however the band is more like a 32 which is disappointing. I'm about a 34ff right now aand this is about a cup size too smal. The fortuna models, lined and unlined seem to be wider and shallower than the the Brilliant and other unlined bras like the Ivy, which is great for me. I just wish I had ordered one cup size up.
This is my first try with Kris Line, and I must say I'm quite impressed despite the bra having been at least one cup size too small. This is a true plunge bra with a really impressive boosting cut - at H+ cup. Nice. The center gore is seriously low and the straps quite narrow (perhaps even too much so...). The band is sturdy with minimal yield, although I would have preferred three hooks in a row. The material is incredibly soft and the bra is finely made. The only con I can come up with is that the cups seem to be on the smaller side of the scale, this bra being more of a 32:12 than 32:13. But, looks like I'm going to have to hunt for a 70J in their Deco Plunge style. Kris Line, you may have gotten yourself a new acolyte.
This bra seems to run big in the cups- it fits me if I leave the padding in, but I'm usually more 30E. The band is a bit loose, but I bought it used. I love that there are 4 columns of hooks (in 2 rows), all my other bras only have 3 columns.
The shape it gives is interesting, and I think I like it on me .. though I see how it is a bit too sloped on others. I wish the seams were more minimal and showed through my t-shirts less.
I wish this bra fit me more like it fits you! Perhaps I can find it in a 65C, I have the 65D (just got it not too long ago and have not gotten around to posting it!).
I previously tried a 70FF in this bra. This band fits better and I'm between 30/32; typically wear a 32 in panache and ewa; 30 in freya. The shape this bra gives me is just so weird. The top section flattens the top of my boobs. It's not even just a pointy shape, I can't even describe it, it's just misshapen and weird. The bra is very pretty but for me the shape it gives me makes it absolutely unwearable.
This bra is so pretty, but it's a shame that it has the least stretchy band I've ever encountered. I can only stretch this to about 28.5"--almost 2 band sizes smaller than it should be. I can barely fasten it with an extender, so it's hard to tell fit. Like most KL semi softs I've experienced, there's a ridge at the seam between the padded and unpadded parts that I'm sure would show through clothing. It's also pretty closed on top and there's an elastic sewn at the top of the upper section, and it's very projected at the apex. The fabric is shiny and the lace is beautiful, the center gore is narrow with a lovely detail on it--it's just a shame that it essentially runs 2 band sizes small because the elastic in it barely stretches.
I've never had a bra that fits me as well as this one does. It's my first Polish bra, and the cups definitely feel deeper and narrower than the British designs, which works well for me. The top of the band on the back sides is a little too tight, but other than that the bra feels and looks like it was made for me. It's a very cute bra (I've gotten compliments), though I don't love the hearts on the center gore fabric. They're subtle though, so it's all good!
I wish this bra fit me more like it fits you! Perhaps I can find it in a 65C, I have the 65D (just got it not too long ago and have not gotten around to posting it!).
