For some reason when I gave this away and marked it not owned, BBase got rid of the info on it? Stupid.

    Anyways.

Really miss this style. It had a lot more projection from the wire, rather than just overall projection in the very center of the cup. The wires as with all Gorsenia were a super tall narrow 'U' shape which didn't work the best with my \___/ shaped IMF. But I took them out and changed for some Emerald Erin ones that worked better, even if the gore was higher at the time than I preferred.
This gave the lower outer cup ... a more pronounced wrinkle at the outer wire that couldn't be helped, but it didn't fight with my side-heavy shape (no side spillage). At the time I began to notice everything else was fitting on the smaller side and began cycling up through comexims, but this style lasted a bit longer in rotation. Probably about 5-6 months all told (around when I needed 28G/GG).

Marita was also very dense-tissue friendly, didn't try to shove or smash me around like some other styles in this brand. However due to the weirdly wide/bottom full nature of of my shape vs marita's generally overfull but not deep shape, it did feel like the center inner of the cups at gore eventually became tight and flattening. So in turn I concluded it wasn't a great style for inner fullness at the time, when in actuality I was in a much too small size that was difficult to diagnose due to having extra short breasts that only grow horizontally (yeah I know you'd think they would look like -- -- but anatomy is a trickster and we got o o instead).

I class Gorsenia as generally fuller & narrower than UK brands, making the exception for Katherine Hamilton and a few discontinued Cleos. They come in a lot of shapes! But there's a few trademark similarities they share with other brands: Tall wires. Cups are flattening from the outer side. Lack of Plunges. No stretchy forgiving upper cup band (these may be 2 exceptions! casablanca & I forget what else right now). Shallow halfcups that run smaller than their regular balconette styles. For some these are crucial needs, for me it's an annoying dealbreaker

So musing on what else out here had a similar fit or shape? I can't really say this has a polish analogue in Comexin or the shallower/fuller Kinga. Back to the Uk brands:

Unlike Panache Tango this was narrower but had MORE ROOM EVERYWHERE!
Like all Gorsenia there is a tendency to push the sides forward in a subtle manner.
Like Tango, Marita is a well centered round style.
Conclusion- Marita's depth & fullness spoiled me so that when I began trying Tango it felt unnaturally closed in in the cups and strangely small in much larger sizes with equally larger wires.

    Hasn't set fit

Bought for my teen, whose hated how loud it squeeked.
We oiled the o rings which did quiet it down, but not completely.

She also disliked how the slings and shape at the frame in the cup made it difficult to fit into the cup, and found it impossible to get the baggy end all the way over and around each breast. It was perversely shallow and small, despite measurements matching hers at the time.
It basically fit like a compression top pushing her breasts hard back into the chest, and left a rumply sack shape sticking out over the unsmashed end of ... her breast.
Every attempt to pull the cups around failed and the cup would crawl off her, and the base of the cups would go back to squashing her flat. It was a disaster.

Surely someone with very narrow breasts that are side set or spaced away from each other will find this thing amazing, and marvelously rounded in profile, but it really wasn't for someone whose generally full, close set or upper full.

I don't understand how every one of Gorsenia's main style types is so incredible different.
Half cups are NOT for anyone with a full shape.
Supportive wireless only for very small bustlines.
Their 'big' balconettes are more shallow than the regular ones.
Regular bras fit a size large though. I love the fit of this brand for the most part but someone just explain what on earth is going on here.

The construction & materials used is otherwise top notch, very sturdy, feltlike soft, with a fabulously elastic , mesh upper band in the cup. This is such a nice modern sleek take on the classic vintage unwired bra build. I certainly hope there is further work or styles based on it that work better in the future.

(This review was edited a few months after the original version.)

I am new to Gorsenia and still in the process of finding my "abtf". I am even set (when leaning 90°), somewhat center-full, and asymmetrical. I've yet to determine my root height, but feel sure that I'm narrow.

The "abtf" calculator consistently puts me between a 34F and 34FF (UK), though I've did that isn't quite right because of my asymmetrical shape. I'm a pretty true 34 band size.

I bought this bra via Other Eden on Amazon, and originally followed their advice to size down in the cup because Gorsenia is known to be so projected. The ... cup was okay, but the 34 band felt very, very tight. I tried the equivalent of a 36 band and E or F cup (again, following their size conversions) and while 36 was a bit better, it messed with the cup shape for me.

On a whim, I decided to try again, this time with a 34G (75G EU size), and had a MUCH better fit! The band felt fine when I went up in cup size, the gore tacked, I don't get as much back fat/rolls, and the cups, while not 100% perfect, are smooth enough without gaping or quadding after swoop and scoop. The stretch lace at the top really helps with my asymmetrical size, and unlike the tulle or mesh top of Gorsenia's Victoria model, lays almost perfectly against my skin.

I found the projection pretty decent, too, though personally, I could use a little more at the wire than this one offers. I have a 2-2.5" difference between my standing and leaning bust.

The wires were a good width and height for me I think, though the straps are slightly wide, which can irritate my tail off of spence.

All in all, this has been my best fit so far. It isn't my holy grail, but I liked it enough to buy a second one.

If you're having trouble with a tight band, don't be afraid to try a bigger cup. It might work better for you despite what the sellers say about Gorsenia's sizing.

This is a beautiful bra. I got a chance to measure and check out someone's recent purchase for this 30H Gorsenia Bra. When looking it up it looks to be the " Aspen Black Lace Padded Underwired Balcony Bra " by Gorsenia (K-492) which is not on here yet. The buyer thought this was a maternity/nursing bra but I am not sure if it is. This bra is too large in the cup for me at my current size and measurments but this is still an impressive beautiful comfortable bra.
The Padding of the bra is thin, it actually suprised me how light the ... padding was but its doesn't feel cheap. The pink cups have three parts separated by two seams. There is a layer of black mesh that goes over the entire exterior making the look almost grey in color with a decorative pattern between the two seams. The wings and band are made out of a sturdy fine mesh. It feels like it could be scratchy on the skin but I didn't notice that when trying it on. There's a little jewl at the gore and two bows where the bra straps hook on. The bra ends can be removed and I assume this bra could be worn multiple ways. There is no push up but there are cookie pockets, no cookies were included with it though. The cloth that contains the pocket is not connected to the bra at the top comes back quite a bit and I am not sure what the purpose of this is? The gore is a bit taller than my personal preference but It feels like it allows for inner projection and seems like it is open enough to accommodate overall and some upperfullness but a little hard to tell with it being too big.
I am happy I got to try on and check out this bra, I have been curious about the brand Gorsenia. The bras light but very well made and I think it's lovely. I love black Lacey bras and also like bras that are pink like the inner cups so this is ideal look wise for me. I Hope I get an oppertunity to own one myself one day, I will be returning this to my family member though.

Has cookie pockets but also seems like there's cloth inside that may have been added to somehow make it a maternity/nursing bra?

    • I didn't know Gorsenia had padded options. The unlined bras I've tried are very deep in the cup and very narrow. They seem to all have a really high gore though. I've gotten Gorsenia bras for as low as $15 from misterna.pl if you're looking for an affordable place to purchase.

    • 1

WildWolff This bra is very lightly padded! The cookie pockets seem so odd, there's a slot for the cookies which seem normal but then all the cloth that would surround the inserts are only connected at its base and it all flops down when it's not being worn and I don't get why it's designed like that. They are pretty and do seem to have decent depth. I have avoided them because of the tall gore's as well. I can tolerate gores a little better than i could when i was larger, but they can still pinch tissue or push my chest in odd directions if they are too tall or wide. I'll check out that site and keep it in mind thank you!

    • This isn't a nursing bra. This looks like a convertible bra designed to be used with different strap configurations. The Amazon listing for the same model suggests it's meant to allow cross-back straps if desired, but I've seen similar designs that were also intended to be optionally strapless. If you look at the back of the shoulder strap where it joins it is also removable there as well as the front, but this isn't mean to be done while worn or to allow the cup to give a hungry baby access.

Yeah, I'm thinking it was a mistake/miscommunication between sellers describing it. One of my siblings bought it second hand and it was described as maternity bra when she got it. I knew it wasn't a usual nursing bra because it doesnt open up or detach like one typically would. It's been 10 years since I had my son, so I wasn't sure if maybe maternity bras were different from nursing bras, and the cookie pockets in this look so odd to me, honestly I was curious if it was designed in a way to put those milk absorbing pads in (that I used when pregnant because I started lactating at 16 weeks and they almost look like they would fit with it idk how to explain it well) Although, that doesn't really seem practical. Even though this bra would be pretty comfortable if it fit me, I wouldn't want to risk getting milk on this pretty bra piece! I was mostly thinking that it was a mistake and miscommunication somewhere between sellers, or maybe they thought it was because the straps come undone at all as a multiway like you said. I'm not sure why I was overthinking it so much. Lol. But you're def right that it's just a multi wear bra

This is the best fitting bra I've found so far. Probably because it's so narrow and projected. The gore actually tacks most of the time. It might be just a smidge too wide for me in the gore pushing it away sometimes. It's a 30 band and I'm a 28 but this band is nice and firm so no issues there. Since it's sheer you can see the outer edges of the cups are a little empty but I wonder if that's because of how firm the band is, it's pulling them wider. The gore is pretty low so for me that makes it more comfortable.

I tried 9 different Gorsenia Bras in this order from Brastop and this was the only one that fit. I wish they were all cut like this!

    Cup width 4.75
    Cup depth 9.75

    Cup separation .70
    Gore height 2.5
    Wing height 3.0
    Strap width .6
    Strap length 15
    Hooks 2

Finally found one! In a size that matches! 4.75" wide wires are the narrowest things on the actual planet! Swapped them for my old #42 wires which it tolerates ok.

Unlike Black Orchid's vintage conical styling, Dorothy is fairly rounded & center-full friendly. However not so very much. Which one one hand works well for my depth needs, but at the cost of squashing my otherwise round but not large, inner breast flat as the perimeter pulls tightly from larger outer breast tugging entire cup ... over. So center and inner to gore goes completely flat.

This is in keeping with the brands' overall 'smaller very full breast' patterning which is getting me by, till we eventually stumble upon 'huge full root/short breast, with all side and bottom projection and tons of immediate depth, and a minimizer center with no conical angling'.

Alas. We are not there yet. So Dorothy becomes part of the rotation despite being too small by the numbers.

I usually wear a 32JJ (in a Subtille Eir) but I sister sized to go to 34J as some of my 32s were a little snug. I also then went down a second cup to 34HH as I read Gorsenia run large in the cup. They definitely run large in the cup! I could have gone down to a 34H or having tried the 34HH, I think I could go for 32HH.

It has great projection and lift. It is not a perfect fit but it fits enough that I will keep and wear it. Having paid only €29 on ebay (new), its not worth trying to return to Poland.

Other notes if it helps, I was recently fitted in a 32JJ Panache Envy but I found the band to be huge! and the cup also a bit too big. I would go with 30J/JJ in future for my Envy but since switching to Polish bras, I cant see myself going back to Panache any time soon.

Overall this bra is an ok fit. The gore doesn't tack and the wires sometimes sit on breast tissue, but it's pretty close to tacking. It's hard to find bras that fit perfectly and this one is close enough for me to keep. The top elastic does cut in as I'm very full on top but it's not horrible. The shape is also a little pointy. My biggest complaint is that the material starts to feel really scratchy and itchy by the end of the day.

Also be aware this brand uses EU sizing, so if you order from a UK or US source the size is probably converted. So when I order from Brastop I order a 30DD, but my tag says 65E. Same goes for the other Polish brands I've ordered like Ava, Kinga, and Nessa.

Holy Baby's First Seance Witchtitties, what have I gotten myself into?
While there is overall fullness built into this style, it's less generous near the wire a la Epic Lift (tm) & feels like this bra wants to make me very... triangular, which isn't exactly what the cup pattern would suggest (fully front & center style). Considering I'm nowhere near conical when au naturale, this is an odd feat.
Also, to those who need every immediate depth, beware the beast of not-enough-space-at-wire creating in-cup quadding ... on the bottom & pushing everything to apex into a conical shape. You know the one. Wicked Bitch of the east, Who? Oh her. We don't speak anymore, mutters the wench of the West.

Those who aren't that full near the root carry on, this bizzy mama gotcha. RIP my dumbness for being very full & wide in this one, everything went fully horizontal and strongly projected so I guess we doing that now! Better start rummaging for those retro 50's pinup dinner dresses.

Narrower, taller cup than other gorsenia's I've tried (marita, casablanca, paradise, magic rose). Feels like there is a general side sling/sideboob suppressing action in the cup design, which I see more in gorsenia halfcup's shaping.

Not very full in the cup but definitely has decent even projection, sufficient depth, fit is closed off on top so even & FOT beware. It's not into my sideboob but it also isn't painful & wires are ok so it stays.
Update: removed wires, the gore floats about 2" but can just get by as a nifty sleep bra, as the displacement of boob upward from tight lower cup cuts into tail of spence when upright.

I love this bra so much! I've found it difficult to find padded bras for bigger busts that also have good cleavage, and this fit the bill - as well as being pretty good value! For reference I'm generally a UK size 32GG, with a snug underband of 32in and a leaning/standing/lying avg bust of 42in; close set, full on bottom.

This is a beautiful bra in a gorgeous light pink color which works well for my skin as a "nude". However, the lace/embroidery on the cups is very raised so it shows a lot underneath clothes, and it's very noticeable underneath sheer tops. It fits almost perfectly on my bottom full, projected breasts. I get a tiny bit of wrinkling at the top of the cup on my smaller side but it's not an issue for me. The wires are very narrow and have a very pronounced U shape. I think I'd get a perfect fit if the wires were slightly flatter at the bottom, as I get ... a bit of empty fabric right at the bottom of the cup. It's not a lot so it doesn't bother me though. The straps are in a good position for me, not too wide set (compared to the Curvy Kate Ellace which rubs against my armpits quite a bit). It gives a very nice rounded shape.
A note on sizes: Brastop sold this bra as a 30E (they recommend to buy a smaller cup size than usual because they run deep), however, the tag on the bra says this is a 30F/65F. If you're buying from somewhere else it may be worth to ask the sizes on the tag to make sure.

SO sad this bra didn't have enough immediate projection for me. I was hoping for a different outcome, even though one of my boob-twin's warned me about the newer Gorsenia models not having enough immediate projection https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />(((

The bra is beautiful and looked like it fit me at first. Alas, upon further inspection, my boob folded over my IMF and was touching my chest within the cup, pushing the cup down to fit the shape of my breasts.

Unfortunately, all the other bras I ordered also didn't fit due to immediate projection problems.
