Has cookie pockets but also seems like there's cloth inside that may have been added to somehow make it a maternity/nursing bra?

This is a beautiful bra. I got a chance to measure and check out someone's recent purchase for this 30H Gorsenia Bra. When looking it up it looks to be the " Aspen Black Lace Padded Underwired Balcony Bra " by Gorsenia (K-492) which is not on here yet. The buyer thought this was a maternity/nursing bra but I am not sure if it is. This bra is too large in the cup for me at my current size and measurments but this is still an impressive beautiful comfortable bra.
The Padding of the bra is thin, it actually suprised me how light the padding was but its doesn't feel cheap. The pink cups have three parts separated by two seams. There is a layer of black mesh that goes over the entire exterior making the look almost grey in color with a decorative pattern between the two seams. The wings and band are made out of a sturdy fine mesh. It feels like it could be scratchy on the skin but I didn't notice that when trying it on. There's a little jewl at the gore and two bows where the bra straps hook on. The bra ends can be removed and I assume this bra could be worn multiple ways. There is no push up but there are cookie pockets, no cookies were included with it though. The cloth that contains the pocket is not connected to the bra at the top comes back quite a bit and I am not sure what the purpose of this is? The gore is a bit taller than my personal preference but It feels like it allows for inner projection and seems like it is open enough to accommodate overall and some upperfullness but a little hard to tell with it being too big.
I am happy I got to try on and check out this bra, I have been curious about the brand Gorsenia. The bras light but very well made and I think it's lovely. I love black Lacey bras and also like bras that are pink like the inner cups so this is ideal look wise for me. I Hope I get an oppertunity to own one myself one day, I will be returning this to my family member though.

  • I didn't know Gorsenia had padded options. The unlined bras I've tried are very deep in the cup and very narrow. They seem to all have a really high gore though. I've gotten Gorsenia bras for as low as $15 from misterna.pl if you're looking for an affordable place to purchase.

WildWolff This bra is very lightly padded! The cookie pockets seem so odd, there's a slot for the cookies which seem normal but then all the cloth that would surround the inserts are only connected at its base and it all flops down when it's not being worn and I don't get why it's designed like that. They are pretty and do seem to have decent depth. I have avoided them because of the tall gore's as well. I can tolerate gores a little better than i could when i was larger, but they can still pinch tissue or push my chest in odd directions if they are too tall or wide. I'll check out that site and keep it in mind thank you!

  • This isn't a nursing bra. This looks like a convertible bra designed to be used with different strap configurations. The Amazon listing for the same model suggests it's meant to allow cross-back straps if desired, but I've seen similar designs that were also intended to be optionally strapless. If you look at the back of the shoulder strap where it joins it is also removable there as well as the front, but this isn't mean to be done while worn or to allow the cup to give a hungry baby access.

Yeah, I'm thinking it was a mistake/miscommunication between sellers describing it. One of my siblings bought it second hand and it was described as maternity bra when she got it. I knew it wasn't a usual nursing bra because it doesnt open up or detach like one typically would. It's been 10 years since I had my son, so I wasn't sure if maybe maternity bras were different from nursing bras, and the cookie pockets in this look so odd to me, honestly I was curious if it was designed in a way to put those milk absorbing pads in (that I used when pregnant because I started lactating at 16 weeks and they almost look like they would fit with it idk how to explain it well) Although, that doesn't really seem practical. Even though this bra would be pretty comfortable if it fit me, I wouldn't want to risk getting milk on this pretty bra piece! I was mostly thinking that it was a mistake and miscommunication somewhere between sellers, or maybe they thought it was because the straps come undone at all as a multiway like you said. I'm not sure why I was overthinking it so much. Lol. But you're def right that it's just a multi wear bra

Bra does not fit me at my current size, the cups are a bit too wide and tall but really probably 2 cup sizes too big but I had the chance to look at and measure this bra anyways.

Center gore comfort:
Underwires dig into sternum, because they are too high
Bottom of the cup:
Can't quite fill it
Top of the cup:
Wrinkles, can't quite fill it
Cup's width:
There is empty fabric on the sides (Cup too wide)
