This is my first try with Gorsenia bras. The band is true to size, a bit on the stretchy side (there's no stretched band measurement as this is going back for refund), wit three-hook rows. The cup material is similar to Effuniak's Bm Bibi Czarny. The cups, however, are ENORMOUS. They're deep, with lot's of room in the middle. The straps are a normal width for an H+ bra. The bra looks very pretty and is well made. However, no way this bra could a 32:14, it's more like 32:17.
Hi. can you add Measurements of this Bra. I own Gorsenia patti in 70 M, and I found it Smaller in cups, then my 30JJ Panache Jasmine ( was hopping it would be my sister size). I have theory now why (because the shape and the roots) and want to add it to my review. But I want to make sure they are same in size. For me it fits like 32:14, or even 32:13
Hi Nadiya! I'm sorry, I can't add any measurements as I don't own this bra anymore. :(
First of all, this bra is seriously gorgeous! It's the perfect sherbet orange color for spring, and nearly works as a nude for my super pale skin. I tried to depict the color with pics, but my phone wanted to make the bra appear much more beige than it actually is.
Fit-wise, I went solely off my experience with Samanta, as I'm fairly sure (?) Gorsenia makes Samanta. I could be wrong, and welcome a correction to that. So I went with my usual band (80/36), and went down in cup. The cup was a good choice, but the band is quite loose. With my Samanta, I went ...with 75H, which was perfect in cup and small in band. I don't know enough about either brand to say if this is enough to judge universally how their brands are with sizing, or if these models are unique in some way. The toffee bra has a lighter band, while my Samanta bra is black, so it could be as simple as that.
The projection on this baby is insane! I'm risking torpedo boob, but it's not too bad to stop me from wearing it. I always wear a tank or cami underneath everything, and that helps to mitigate the torpedo. The wires are perfectly narrow, and very comfy. I've been wearing my beloved EM bras less and less because the wires cause me such pain. The band and straps are wide, and I love them. It's only 2 hook, but feels like most of my 3 hook bras.
I bought this from their eBay store, and def recommend checking them out! It took about 2 weeks to arrive to me, and came with tracking all for around $35. I'll def be buying more from their store, but will go for a 75H next time and report on sizing. Read more 198 more words
Sincerely, thank you for this review: "best for FOC (full on center boobs)."
Without your review, measurements, and assistance, I may have literally given up before finding a comfortable, wired bra for my FOC, immediately projected boobs. Thank you, MiskiDwie!!!
This was my first foray into Gorsenia, another Polish brand. This bra is stunning. The detail in the embroidery is beautiful, and the fuchsia color is deep and bright at the same time. This is a soft cup, no lining, and on me at least appeared to be a fuller coverage balconette style. I really wish this one would have fit, but I think it is about 2 cups sizes too big for me. The gore also comes up higher than my other bras, but I am pretty sure the gore height relates to the cups. I bought the matching briefs in a size large, which as soon ...a I pulled them out of the box, knew they were way too small. I stretched the waist band and got 18 inches for the measurement. This one is only a fail for me because of the size. The quality is there, so I will try again. And now that I know I do not measure an I or J cup, I believe that opens up more styles for me in the brand as well https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 84 more words
I took a chance on this bra and it really surprised me. I won't say it's perfect - it's certainly not, but very wearable, and I think a good enough deal for the $30 I spent on it.
My shape: Full on bottom and in the middle, projected, soft tissue, narrow root, loss of volume, a little close set, with a curved breastbone which causes splayed breasts and a somewhat projected sternum . I teeter between a 30H and 30GG (28HH-ish in Freya and stretchy bands). Bras always sit a little lower than they should on me, partially because of the projection, mostly because the curvature of my ...chest means my underbust sits on an angle, leaving a bit of sliding inevitable.
The band: FIRM. It strikes me as similar to the Fantasie bras I've tried in terms of firmness, and may actually be even a little firmer. I'm between a 28 and 30 back (I measure around 29 inches), and the 65 band feels pretty good out of the box, but probably fits closer to a 28 band than a 30. If you're between sizes, you definitely want a larger band.
The Cups: Definitely more suitable for FOB than FOT. The top of the cup is fairly tight. The bottom I wish was a little more projected, but is still wearable the way it is. This is definitely a fuller cup, and the cup shape reminds me a bit of fantasie's three part balcony bras - it's a lot of bra, but still pretty comfortable overall. It was fine in the front with a tank top for me, but a bit higher on the side - definitely will show under a sleeveless shirt. The cups cut in very slightly along the top of my bust, but not enough to be visible when clothed, and this is a common problem for me with full cups in general. The shape they give is pointy. It's not necessarily horrible pointy, but it's definitely noticeably pointy in profile. Not my favorite look at all - I prefer a nice round profile, but I've seen worse.
The Wires: slightly narrower than my Cleo Lucy - so the width suits me fairly well. They come up pretty high in the center, but not so high that I'd worry about them showing through anything but a particularly low cut top. This is not a cleavage bra by any stretch of the imagination, though. The center gore comes up pretty high, and the wires are pretty high under the arms, too. I'm only 5'4 though, and I don't find them so high that I'm getting poked, or anything - just high enough that it's probably not the bra to go sleeveless with.
The Straps: The straps are positioned well, and fully adjustable, but since the wires - and as a result, the cups - come up so high, the side of the cup does dig a bit into my armpit. This is a typical complaint with full cup bras for me, so if full cups don't usually bother you, this one probably won't either.
Sizing: tight in the band, big in the cup - according to the listing, a 65K is the equivalent of (US 30J/UK30GG). I'm between a UK GG and H, and an H would definitely have been too big, so if you're between band sizes, you'll want the larger, between cup sizes, you'll want the smaller unless you're particularly FOT. Sister sizing is probably the way to go, but I think it fits pretty similar to Fantasie (the few times I've tried the brand - I'm more of a Cleo girl), so if you wear a lot of Fantasie full cups, your Fantasie size might be just about right.
The looks: This is where Gorsenia shines over UK full cups, I think. This bra has style. It's just pretty - the floral detailing, that dash of color in the flowers and along the lace upper section, the flower embroidery trailing down onto the gore- it's a very simple, but elegant looking bra.
My final verdict: It's a pretty decent bra for the price. I like the firm band, and the look of the bra. The wires are long, but comfortable and supportive. There's definitely attention given to the finer aspects of design, so even if the cut is a bit matronly, you don't feel like you're wearing your grandmother's bra. The straps are fully adjustable, and comfortable. On the down side, there's a lot of cup, and I wish it was a little looser on the top. If you're buying this bra because Polish bras are supposed to have narrow wires, you'll be disappointed, they're only marginally smaller than the Cleo Lucy. A true FOB would probably do very well in this bra, but my middle fullness means I'm probably going to be tweaking the gore a bit and give myself a bit more room in the center of the bra. The gore, however, is not impossibly wide, just a little wider than I'm strictly happy with. It's pretty supportive - even with the straps quite loose my boobs stay pretty much in the same place, which is rare. If you have the right shape for it, it's not the best bra you can buy, but it's a good option in a lower price range. But, it is not a bra that's going to be forgiving to every shape.
The pointy profile kind of kills it, but I wonder if this is perhaps just an FOB trait - a lot of bras give me this look.
After a full day of about 11 hours, the bra was still comfortable.
Sorry, no pictures https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Out of the few similarly cut Gorsenias in different cup sizes that I had a chance to try on, this one was the closest to fitting. Sadly, not a good fit at all. The size was right, and when I tried the cup on with the band undone, the cup fit quite nicely. With the hooks closed, the fit was terrible. The wires tilted very badly and the top of the center gore was several centimeters off my chest. The cup's shape changed and the top cut into tissue, while the side was empty.
I tried the bra on with ...an extender, but the cup was still distorted. So going up a bandsize would not work for me. The band seemed pretty tight so if you're between sizes, try a bigger size.
The shoulder straps were very wide set and that made them feel uncomfortable.
I think that the cup is simply too wide to work with a small-ish underband. In higher bandsizes it may work better. Also, smaller cup sizes in the small bands may work better. Most of the issues I had with this bra seem to be about the way the size is scaled up. They've only added a bigger cup to the band and not considered how this affects the proportions. I saw pictures of a woman who normally wears 34HH/36H in Freya and Panache, she tried the Gorsenia Attina in 75M (which theoretically is the same size as 34HH) and it was approx 2-3 cups too large on her. The cups seem to be cut with narrow gores and for boobs that are very full on top.
This bra gives great shape. The underwires are quite soft and don't sit flat in the middle of chest. I couldn't wear it even when it was my size because this bra has sometching itchy in the back - I couldn't stop scratchinghttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This has been the best fit I’ve found so far for my omega shaped breasts! It’s the only bra I’ve worn that the wires didn’t slip down at all during the day.
My next best fit is an Ewa BM 80J, so I would estimate that this one runs about 2 cups sizes big.
I did use an extender on this. The band is very snug and does not stretch much! It was perfect for me on the loosest hook of the extender.
The mesh isn’t my favorite material on my sensitive skin, but it didn't bother me too much during the day!
The bra itself is beautiful and seems very well made.
Beautiful sexy bra, beautifully gathers the breasts and through underwiring holds bust high. Looks nice. Already second time I bought the same model, I recommend for ladies with large bust and not only. Elegant model.

Technical data review only. Purchased only to frankenbra together with 70E Orchid that's woefully incapable of working even as a sleep bra. Will not be trying this on
A mystery:
While both Orchids are technically ...sister size to one another this 65F Orchid looks much more like a projected plunge with immediately dept at wire and evenly full projection to apex, wire is a full inch narrower than the sister size up from it! There is a lovely worthless jabby bit of plastic boning sewn into the seam between wing and band which I don't recall having in the original Black Orchid (cannot see any slits in seam channel from removing one, anyway)
Meanwhile 70E Orchid has a wider wire, taller gore, lower wing, and more of a 'pushup' cup shape, rather appeared to be made for wider, upper-inner full shapes in mind.
Both Black orchids have the same narrow full band with center scoop along bottom of gore, narrow but medium heavier weight shoulder strap elastics, disappointingly short/narrow band with chronically understaffed hook & eye in back Materials are sleek, smooth, well matched to fit for the size indicated. Construction is impeccable with no unfinished raw edges or loose threads. Read more 172 more words
Another bra bought pre-finding out my cup size went up to size me out of even more brands :'). I learned that Gorsenia's unpadded cups run one size large though, so I think it's ok...?
Firstly, the shape on this bra. Wow! I know some people shit on globe shapes(not just in the bra fitting community, outside of that as well) for being unrealistic and anti-gravity, but this is actually the shape my stupidly FoT/tall root combination gives me in a bra so I am stoked. I am so, so ecstatic to say there is no quadboobing at the top. I did remove the mesh lining to make the ...silhouette more "globe proper" instead of a mild /| shape at the top, as it's very firm with no stretch whatsoever. Also changed the wires because they were something like 0.3in too narrow.
Immediate projection— not enough, as per usual. This isn't a dealbreaker for me since wrinkling at the bottom can't be seen through clothes. Finding a bra with enough openess on top is hard as it is and I don't want to be banished to halfcup land.
I also know that the bands for this brand tend to skew tight. Based on the bratabase measurements, this model specifically runs true to size? I went with 70 and it measured 30in (1 inch from my tight,) I still find that comfortable but YMMV. Read more 124 more words
it gives me a very nice, rounded shape. Lifts my boobs up quite well too and it looks very nice as also. It doesn't poke me anywhere, it hasn't stretched out much yet, but then again I've only had it for 2 months now. One con is that the strappy bits, while pretty, can be very visible in a lower cut top, but I'm sure that that is to be expected from a bra like this.
Fits well, I did size 1 cup down from my usual size. Band is firm, cups are comfortable. Slight wrinkling on the top/sides (I suspect from the wire being a bit too wide for me). Fabric feels on the stiffer side and a little itchy for sensitive skin.
This bra runs very deep in the cup, I personally would size down 2 cups from my regular size. The wires are narrow enough that they do not at my armpits. I do wish the straps were closer together, but that is my only complaint.

I bought another Roma in a 70I last year to replace the 70F I'd outgrown and wear that one instead, still a great projected and full friendly fit without wide wire issues. Now back to our previous review!
Good old classic Gorsenia fullness & depth. Decent upper and lower volume. Probably pretty good for even fullness, maybe not those who carry volume at apex rather than at root. Materials felt stiff at first but softened up with a couple washes, embroidery not as pretty as in ...the advertisement, but it's really nice and well made not itchy or prone to raveling. So equal to better quality than Panache for the most part.
Being a nice warmer weather bra with decent support for summer activities, I do wish the band was wider and had 3 hooks instead of just 2, but it's not the end of the world. The gore does start to press in pretty hard after a few hours, just like my Ava. Slowly coming to accept that even though my breasts are not the closest, there is a finite height to work with before gore and wires are sitting on conjoined breast tissue over sternum. Boo.
Like Marita this one feels more 'super-full friendly', but isn't ready to give me the room I really need at the outer breast like Della has. Just a much better option than pretty much everything but Katherine Hamilton. Read more 153 more words
