Just not feeling this one. I love the pattern and how it looks on my skin. It feels well made and sturdy. The lace is very soft. The band is a little big, measuring at 30" unstretched.

The bra does absolutely nothing to hide my asymmetry.

I don't get a lot of uplift from the bra. I know it's not clear in the pictures (I've got wide-banded pants on and pulled up slightly to camouflage my stomach), but I've got a fairly short torso and with pendulous breasts...well. I need what lift I can get.

I've got the same old complaint about this bra though. With my soft ... tissue, the taut elastic at the top of the cup cuts into my tissue. I think because this bra also has a lot of looser stretch lace, it's not as noticeable as in other bras. I got a nice little quad boob bubble after a few hours of wearing this bra though. I'm not especially full on top, but I guess my breasts are just soft and large enough for any amount of elastic along the top of the cup to cut in. I suspect the elastic also contributes to the nice natural, round shape this bra has though.

Note that I usually wear a 34J but after trying another Freya balcony, decided to size down.

    • I had one bra that i felt gave me no lift, so I returned it. oddly, ppl here thought it looked like it did give plenty of life. But your opinion is what matters. You should feel good about the bra

I tried on 8 bras from Amazon Prime Wardrobe on 3/8/21 and of all of them, this is the only one I would consider keeping. Size-wise, it’s pretty much spot on, maybe even still a tad too big in the band and the cups. It’s SUPER stretchy in the band and straps. I even almost had to adjust the straps all the way to the tightest level because they’re just so stretchy.

I still had a little wrinkling at the bottom, I think from extra space and not because of a shape issue. The gore tacks, but does that weird floppy thing that Freya gores tend to do. The wires might be slightly too wide, but it wasn’t that noticeable. The lace is comfortable and conforms to the breast shape well.

The Offbeat is a pretty nice bra! I might try a 32HH and see if it’s any better and maybe try a 34H, too.

I think I might have to give this one a try! I love how rounded it looks on you! Did you end up ordering a smaller sister size? And does the lace show through shirts?

    • PamelaBeesly thanks! I haven’t tried the smaller size yet, and in all honesty I didn’t try it on under a shirt this time. 😅 I’ll try to remember to tag you when I try the other sizes so you can see how they work out!

Summary: A pretty bra in good quality materials with lots of depth at the wire. It fits large and stretchy in both band and cup: I would recommend sizing down 1-2 band sizes and possibly one cup letter size (1-2 cup volumes.)

    Appearance/Materials:
I received this bra immediately after reviewing the 38GG - Cleo » Valentina Plunge Bra (10486) . On the surface, they're pretty similar: sheer, bright pink bras in dainty fabrics. Offbeat is made of stretch lace in the cups and part of the band, with a heavy swimwear-type spandex for the back. The lower half of the cups is lined with nonstretch mesh, leaving the top ... a little stretchy for FOT shapes. The band itself is very stretchy: this is nominally a 34, but I could stretch it to 38 if I was willing to pull a little harder.

This bra has coated metal hardware and wide, soft straps in a contrasting bright red. There's a tiny red ribbon between the cups, tacked down with a silver stud - it's not quite a bow. The wire is very firm, in a wide U-shape with a slightly flattened bottom. It does not splay under the arm, though it can be deformed slightly outward.

Freya seems to be using the same wire for multiple sizes, and in the 34HH, that means there's an inch of unfilled channel under the arm. This works terribly for me, since I have a lot of tissue there, but could be helpful if you usually experience wire-poking. Compared to my usual Cleos, this bra uses much higher-quality materials, though I worry about them stretching out too quickly.

    Shape/Construction:
I've been looking for a bra with a wide wire and enough immediate depth to stop the cups from slowly riding down and pinching - the Offbeat does this very well. It has a very "forward" shape that prevents the width of my breasts from getting in the way of my arm. Unfortunately, this isn't quite the right shape for me, so I have some fluff escaping under the arm and along the top of the cup. I may try a 34J, if the cup height doesn't increase too much.

The general shape is a standard balconette, with the side-support power bar cleverly built into the design. The materials are plush, rather soft, and much less flimsy-feeling than some cheaper brands. The band is rather tall, and the bottom tends to roll up in the back. This might not happen if you are thinner or less squishy.

    Fit:
Me - wide roots with "faux-omega" indentation that makes them look narrow/projected. I need a deep cup, with a lot of that depth right at the wire. Normally, I wear Cleo or Panache, but achey, bruisey feelings sent me looking for something with a different wire. The Offbeat is *almost* right. Unfortunately, the cup doesn't quite have enough volume, and there is a lot of weight on my shoulders, so the search continues.

I really liked this one and almost kept it, but after moving around in it, I found that if I bent down in a certain way, the high gore would stab me painfully. I considered swapping wires or just avoiding bending that way, but I figured I'd just keep looking for ABTF.

    Notes:
    -Caramel is darker nude
    -Love the rounded, centered uplift
-Tried on with an extender but feel like it would stretch with a few wears
-Wrinkling top cups better when standing straight but still could fit an hand in there (but the 34H had quadding! Grrrr!)
    -Gore tacks but presses in
-Scratchy but tough material like Jasmine
-Straps tad too wide-set but doable
-Straps comfy material and nice width
    -Love the fully adjustable straps
-Cups tad taller than I'm used to
-Wow GREAT side support, firm support
-Bra seams show through clothes but not too crazy
-Side wires are super comfy with no stabbing underarm or cutting breast tissue

    Close, but not quite. Returned.

I considered trying to go down a cup size to get this one to fit so I could have a molded T-shirt bra, but I didn't have a lot of confidence a cup size down would really get me a great fit. The rosewater color had a lot of melon/salmon undertone that I didn't really care for. Returned.

Bought what's been my typical size. I just don't think I can pull off a molded bra anymore at my current size. It just fit all wrong. Tons of space around my breasts but I still felt squashed. Shape was not good in a shirt. Returned. Lovely shade of pink in the petal color.

Not a good fit for me unfortunately- the band felt really tight to do up (almost a workout to get it done up on the loosest setting!) but the centre gore would not lie flat- I'm not sure if it is the brand as the Cleo & Panache bras fit me perfectly in 34HH. I'm tempted to try buying a 32J in case the band is just firm and is too big for me in the Freya brand...The cups seemed to hold everything in it's just the centre gore wouldn't lie flat.

The straps are set a bit wider than CurvyKate bras, so there's a little bit of chaffing on the front of my shoulders throughout the day. It's not the worst thing in the world, as the extra fabric keeps that little patch of armpit/migrated breast tissue inside the cup of the bra, but it's a noticeable rubbing. Other than that, I have few complaints. It's a pretty bra with a more solid/stiff feeling fabric than most softcups have, giving me a more supportive feeling than most other bras I have.

I got this bra for a "Sexy Valentines Day Weekend" and never even got to wear it, because by the time valentines day rolled around, I had lost a enough weight to make this bra no longer fit. The band is now "it fits, but obviously the band is just going to get very loose".

As sexy as this bra is, it's a little on the rough side. The lace is a mesh with a ditched embroidered detail of flowers. the fuchsia colored material is not soft. The straps are stiff and not soft. Most of the times I had put this bra on to try and break it in, I would stretch myself putting it on. I also purchased a thong with this bra and have yet to wear it more than 5 minutes. It's such a shame this bra never got to see any action. I had hopes, and the way it is made it not come true.

Cute pattern, soft seamed in lace along the top of the cup. The underwire can her very stiff. The material is not as soft as I would have liked. The bra is a little of the larger size, so I would recommend going a band size down on this, because after a few wears, this bra had already gotten pretty loose on me. The straps are harder to adjust because of the cup material being sewn onto them. It feels like it should be a stable bra, but it offers very little in support, while being so stiff. The gore never tacks and often gaps away as much as an inch of a half away from my sternum.

When I first ordered this bra, it fit like a dream. Then it somehow completely lost all of the "snap" to it… It's overly loose and not very supportive. It has an adorable pattern all over the bra, but still is simple enough to be considered a "Wardrobe Basic Bra". It has a small amount of lace across the top of the cups and is not see through at all. It's soft enough to ware all day and all night (So yeah, you could sleep in it.)

A little too small in the cups for me, but the support is fantastic. I also have this in a 34J.
