Freya bra's just do not work for me. The gore always pulls away from my body and this bra is way to closed on top for my breasts. Material is nice and it's a very pretty bra but the shape is not for me.

This bra ran huge. It was at least two sizes too big, possibly more. I ended up selling this bra to a friend with larger boobs and she couldn't fill it either.

I'm wearing it right now and LOVING it, even though the top half of the cup is insanely flappy, the under-boob portion of the cup has folds from the apex shimmying down, and the straps are way too wideset (not just in front, but also in back).

I need to decide if I'm going to alter it to fit me, as the wire and the band fit me perfectly, but nothing else does. The strap alteration concerns me most; the way that it's wideset in the BACK would require my altering how it is attached all along the back band, not just where it hits the cup in front. I also have concerns of how to alter the cup to keep the seam support and lower the apex.

This bra is absolutely adorable. The print plus green and fuschia accents are simultaneously energetic and subtle. The material feels very nice against the skin.

The band ran truer to size than for most Freya bras I have tried, but I couldn't tell if the cups did or not because of severe shape incompatibility. The cups were way too narrow towards the apex, so I had extra space at the side seam where the upper cup panel meets the side support sling while the upper cup panel flattened out my breast pushed my tissue towards my body. This simultaneously pushed the cups away and crowded my cleavage so that the gore could not tack.

I think someone with wider set breasts and perhaps a more conical shape would do much better in this bra. I don't think it was a matter of upper versus lower fullness because I have compression AND empty space in the upper cape; it's purely a shape issue. Despite these problems the bra is exceptionally comfortable to wear.

This bra is supportive and quite comfortable brand new. I only wish the wings were higher. The gore height is good. This bra is super cute alone. It gives a perky cone shape under clothing, sort of lifting my breast higher than the fullest part of some of my tops, giving a weird pulling effect. This would be fine if you could go up a size in clothing and then take darts in your tops. Maybe this bra would be better for intimate wear than everyday wear.

UPDATE: The wires on this are definitely too narrow for me. While the bra feels comfortable initially, I feel it pulling my shoulders forward as the day progresses. Also, the sliders for the shoulder straps become somewhat uncomfortable and itchy, as though the straps are too close together. If I did repurchase this bra, I would go up a band size, but I think Freya are not for wide, top heavy breasts, so I will stay away.

The straps are set a bit wider than CurvyKate bras, so there's a little bit of chaffing on the front of my shoulders throughout the day. It's not the worst thing in the world, as the extra fabric keeps that little patch of armpit/migrated breast tissue inside the cup of the bra, but it's a noticeable rubbing. Other than that, I have few complaints. It's a pretty bra with a more solid/stiff feeling fabric than most softcups have, giving me a more supportive feeling than most other bras I have.

  7. I was hoping for the silky fabric of Mischa or Iona, but no. It's that 'laminated' lower cup, the same as the GG+ Pollyanna. I really dislike the feel of it next to my skin, kind of like starched gauze. Im beginning to worry that Jolie is the only style that has escaped this 'feature'. The shape is also fairly pointy on me.

I am in love with this bra. It's a cup size too small for me, but I will find a 32 HH post-haste! It's totally beautiful, with a pretty floral pattern and contrasting green lace, and the construction is sturdy as all get-out. It pulls me way front and center, with awesome lift--my soft, bottom-heavy, pendulous breasts are in heaven!

i like this bra and i wear it quite often but i think its actually a cup size too big for me but its not that obvious (with a tshirt on). the band is snug but im normally a 30/32. the bra comes up quite high, its difficult to wear under tshirts (might be because its too big though)

my boobs have grown and this bra now fits perfectly. it is actually my favourite bra atm, im wearing it on the second hook and its just unbelievably comfortable

I first tried the Ellie in a 38H, which is my normal size in many bras, but it was too loose in the band and too small in the cup. So I returned it for a 36J. The band was fine now, but the cups are now a little big. There is some wrinkling in the cup.

This bra is so cute, with purple floral and green lace. I love how it looks. Too bad I don't think Freya bras work for my shape. The center gore is against my sternum, but the wires are sort of squished together and don't lie flat. This has happened in other Freya ... bras when otherwise the fit seems fine.

The Ellie gave me a weird shape. My larger boob looks ok, but a little pointy. But my smaller boob doesn't fill out the cup enough and it looks weird. I don't even know how to explain it, but I have uploaded pics. From the side, it's as though the top of the cup is a straight line towards the peak and the rest of the bra curves up to meet it. Which is weird because I have full on top boobs. I think it's just way too big!
