I was looking forward to this bra for months after I heard that Freya was finally expanding their longline size range to include 28 bands. When I saw the first promo pics, I was a 28G, so I was on the edge of the size range... By the time it was available to order, I'd gone up about a cup size and a half and so was sized out of the 28 bands. It was so pretty, though, that I decided to buy it in a 30G and hope for the best.
Unfortunately, it ended up being small in the cup. The band is comfortable on the tightest ...fastening and it feels so much more supportive with that added length. I don't know why this doesn't come in anything higher than a G cup! However, the band does tend to roll up in the front, which is kind of annoying. The other thing that bothers me is the straps on the bra. They're fully adjustable, but soo stretchy that it felt like I had to tighten them up almost to the very end.
Looks-wise, the print is even better in real life. and the lace is just the perfect touch. The seams show through a thin shirt. I would really have loved it if this bra had fit... Read more 112 more words
This review is for the black with tan dots version of this bra.
I would estimate this is about 1 cup size too small. I don't get quad, but that's because the center gore is not sitting flat on my sternum. It sits about an inch out. When I push it in to wear it should sit, I do get quad. The band is good on the tightest hook, but too loose if I try it on the other hooks.
The shape is not really flattering on me. It seems to splay my boobs out to the sides, rather than putting them front and center. As a result, my arms rub on the cups when I reach forward, and the view from the front is definitely wider than I like. The view from the side is good and round.
It seems that I just can't get along with these padded half-cup styles from Freya. It's a shame, because they are very cute, and it seems like they would be a good option if the fit was right.
This has been a great bra for me; a perfect fit. I can wear it all day without a problem, and the fit is perfect; I get great lift and rounding over the half-cup without a hint of spillover. This fits better than the Freya Nieve half-cup in the same size; the Nieve was a bit too small, and I have heard that many of the newer half cups are a bit bigger.
Bought from Brastop-- tried on for size, squealed a little, tried on a dress, then took measurements.
I really thought I would love Freya's padded half cup bras, but I haven't been able to get my grubby paws on one in the right size... until now!
Unfortunately, this bra is not sold in size 28GG, which would be a better fit, but it fits very nicely on the tightest hook and I like the style enough that I am willing to alter the band down if it loosens significantly with wear.
The padding is very thin on this, just enough to prevent visible nipples but thin enough to not ...add much volume, which is great in my opinion as I like the shape given by padding, but I don't really need any extra volume added to my breasts-- they are big enough. I love the way this fits and the way it looks! It's safe to say I will try and get more of Freya's padded half-cup bras, it's gorgeous and very flattering with clothing on or off-- and I love the quality of Freya bras.
Straps are nice and wide and fully adjustable.
There are tiny lavender bows at the join of the straps with the top of the cup. The top of the cup is edged with a textured, but reasonably flat scalloped lavender lace that matches the lavender birds on the print, and also matches the ribbon of the bows. In the center there's a larger bow made of the same ribbon as the strap details, with a little silver bird charm hanging from it. I liked that so much I even took a detail picture to show it off!
The bird print material is pretty sheer, but not very see-through due to the dark color. Obviously, the cups are not sheer at all despite this, due to the padding.
This is my favorite bra right now, it's so beautiful and it's just the right shape to fit under my new dress (it's a bit too small in the bust, and I couldn't find any bras that wouldn't show under the low wide neckline-- this is PERFECT)! Read more 250 more words
When I saw this bra in the store I had to have it!!! The fit is fabulous in the cup and gives a nice round shape and just the right amount of lift. I love the color/pattern and the small lace edge detail. The straps are fully adjustable. The only issue I have with this bra is that the band is too big and I will need to take it in to fit my 26 inch ribcage. But it is well worth the effort. Had this bra been made in a 28GG it would have been perfect from the start. I love this shape so much, I purchased ...a few more from Freya with the same cut.
*Update 7/2/12 -I noticed that this bra had some gathering/rippling along the vertical seaming up the front of the cup. I thought this would go away after washing a wearing several times, but it has not. It is still a wonderful bra and I still love it. This bra has a wonderful microfiber feeling fabric that has a fun girly print on it. I love that the straps have dots on them as well and being fully adjustable. The cups have a lavender lace edge detail with two small lavender bows where the straps meet the cups and a slightly larger bow on the center gore that has a little button with dots on it as well.
I purchased this bra because it was the same cut as the “Patsy” bra and I love the shape it gives, with a nice full rounded lift. I purchased a 30G because they do not make this bra in a 28GG my usual size. I plan to have the band taken in.
I just got this bra today, in the Ocean/ blue color, and measured it brand new and only briefly worn.
The band is slightly big on my rib cage, and I do believe it runs a bit large in the band, as I can fasten it on the tightest hook with comfort. At this point, it doesn't ride up and is not uncomfortable, but if it stretches much at all with wear, I will need to alter the band to be shorter (as 28GG is not sold in this model and is the size that I need).
The shape is very flattering, but my breasts can sometimes overflow or not ...fill the cups completely with movement. I'm not sure yet if this will be an issue, but I haven't been able to see this problem with the clothing I tried on, so I'm hoping it will be a non issue as my breasts don't actually shift around in this bra, it's more of a thick, stiffer padding issue.
The straps are definitely too wide on me, but I have somewhat narrow shoulders. Unfortunately, there isn't an easy fix for this problem, as pulling the straps inward makes the shape of the cup less flattering... I intend to keep this beautiful bra anyway, as I think the fit issues are minor enough, and the size and shape good enough, to justify keeping.

Bra is very cute, a lovely lavender with black lace. The cups on this 30G are a good fit, (much better than the 30FF I had previously tried), yet I don't think they are completely compatibly with my shape. The cups are lightly lined, but I'm not sure if the lining would be thick enough to stop show through.
Band fits best on the middle hooks. Underwires aren't the most comfortable, and it seems like they ride a bit low. I think this may be a result of the breast tissue pushing the cup slightly down because the cup isn't quite deep enough at the bottom (right above the wire). The center gore doesn't quite touch my sternum, it sits out enough so that I can slide my index finger in. Straps are set too wide for me (which is not uncommon) but a strap accessory in back would fix this.
I have decided to return the bra. While it is cute, I have others that are quite a bit more comfortable, and comfort to me is extremely important.
This is one of the few plunge style bras that I can wear. It dips really low in the center gore but the cups top edge are quite vertical and give good coverage so they hold my breasts up and enclose them completely - nothing falls out the center.
The Pollyanna has fairly stretchy lace in the upper cups and I find that it fits snuggly. The band is nice and stretchy and snug in a 30. It's a true fit, and a bit forgiving with a bit of stretch built in.
I find it a bit difficult to fill out the very high cups up near the underarm - but this is true of all plunge styles on me as I don't carry breast tissue up near my underarms at all!
I LOVE this bra. It's amazing. The girls are up and front, without being up to my chin. The band does run a size big, and the cup is a little roomy. I bought this in a 30G instead of my usual 32FF and didn't *quite* fill the cup until I gained some weight. Nothing noticeable under clothes, just while slouching topless. It's a rather plain looking bra unless you order one of the patterned variations (Lydia, Crystal, Ashlee...) but the round shape it gives is just amazing. It is a plunge bra, but I don't fall out the middle and have to adjust every few minutes, even when bending over! I think this is a must for nearly everyone's collection, especially if you can get it on sale (I still have a little sticker shock with some of these bra prices).

This bra should be identical in every way and it mostly is: foam cup material, mesh overlay, lace trim, strap elastic... Except I noticed the cups are shorter and so I pop-out more!! It's difficult to explain.. it's not exactly quad-boob but it's not really to say that the center gore doesn't sit flat. I keep adjusting myself to see if I can do all of the following: A) cover my areolas with the cups, B) have the center gore sit flat AND C) get all my breast ...tissue into the cups.
Placing the Keisha onto the Monet and vice-versa it is so easy to see that the cups are different heights. Turns out Keisha measures -.5cm shorter than Monet. It leaves me with an uneasy feeling if I were to wear it all Summer long, something I was *very excited* to do! Crystal is a patterned version in Teal & Baby Blue reverse spots. The Blue looks White online and even in my photographs but it is really a super soft Baby Blue. Blue-Green or Green-Blue and Soft Blue: It is still very pretty. Identical fit so no surprises if you own any Deco (including previous patterns: Lydia "Milkshake", Frida "Purple Animal Print", Carly "Ivory Chain Print") Completely soft and smooth cup material and shape. Pleased to add another beautiful Freya to my collection.
The best fit I've found is 30G starting on 2nd hook as the band is loose on me. Deco has a popular reputation for a loose band. I'd buy 28GG if it were made.

I have olive skin and the color is far too pale for me and shows through every shirt it shouldn't, if it were a proper "nude" (read: disappearing under clothing). It's an extremely fair skin tone. Recommended for women who burn while tanning or tan super easily.
I love this bra but started on 2nd hook as the band is loose on me. Around the time of this purchase I found a local store (WOW!) carrying 28G but found it just a bit too tight in the band and cup. Anticipate 28GG would fit even better (with an extender for the first few months) if it were made!
i liked this bra a lot! the wires are a bit short for my taste but still comfortable and effective. band runs a little tight but not uncomfortable. the lace however is already pilling so it loses points there... slayyy
I really liked this bra but ordered it in a wrong size. I liked it so well I'm going to try it in a better size for me - down 2 cups and sister size to a 32
Hot damn, this bra is comfortable. As the model name suggests, it's a padded half cup bra. The cup is divided into 4 segments. The straps are wide and they have this soft, stretchy padding underneath - I've never before experienced such bliss. The band is rather stretchy, which to me feels comfortable. The cups are pretty good on me, though I cannot deny that I'm quadding a bit, especially noticable if I breathe in. The shape of the cups however is not ideal for my breasts, it artificially spreads them and makes them point more sideways than they naturally do. Also, I think either the wire is not long enough, the cups or not wide enough or the wing is not high enough - there is side/armpit boob tissue escaping where the straps meet the cups.
This bra fits me well, but for some reason only when I use the racerback hook. If I don't use it my center fullness spills out the middle. I can tell that it is trying to even when I have the racerback engaged, but it's not noticeable most of the time. I have to wear it on one of the middle hooks for proper support but I don't mind.
This has pretty good immediate projection for a moulded cup. It stays in my IMF well.
Would have loved this bra, as its comfortable and the gore is not too wide but could be taken in further easily. However, the lace overlay at the top bulges under the armpits due to excess fabric, while the bra band underneath does fit tightly.
I am not full enough on top to fill out the lace on this bra, which is a shame because otherwise the fit is quite good. There are no creases around the bottom and it gives a nice rounded shape. It doesn't seem to have extra space at the sides either, which is nice. This would be a great summer bra as it is so light and airy! The embroidery is quite lovely as well. I'm not sure if sizing down would fix this.
