The Her Room "Fitter's Comments" said that this bra's band runs large (and it does), and their advice was to go down a band size and up a cup size. On the other hand, Breakout Bras said to go down a band size but keep the cup size the same, and I think theirs is the correct way.

I followed the Her Room guidelines, and ordered a 28DD... then had to return it. The stiff cups were too tall and came up too high, and so with the slightest movement, the upper rim of the cup would stand out and show under my shirt... Not ... a good look. Gave amazing push-up and cleavage though. The 28D probably would fit, but I'm already backed up on exchanges as it is, so I just returned it. Too bad!

Purchased early 2010 from Breakout Bras.

I am used to push-up style bras. I do not have much mass at the top of my breasts, and if I don't have any padding, the bottom of the cups wrinkle (they can be pushed in and flattened and it is obvious there is no breast in the bottom of the cups). My breasts don't fill out the bottoms of most non-padded bras. This style does not have push-up padding in the cup bottoms but was said to give nice cleavage anyway, which it does without pushing you up high.

I needed a seamless, cream-colored bra that wouldn't be obvious under my clothing (you know how thin ... everything is these days). When I bought this style in a 28E, there were obvious problems: the cups wrinkled/gaped at the bottom, especially on my smaller boob's cup; the top of the cups would gape open if I moved my arms up and around; and, oddly, the band seemed to slide up in the front, I think because the cup bottoms were not weighed down by any breast tissue, so they crept upward to find some!

I thought a cup size down may be the correct fit and purchased a 28DD. This size is great. I still don't entirely fill out the bottom of the cups but there is no visible wrinkling or flattening. The top of the cups are fine if I keep the straps super tight, but that leaves red marks on my shoulders and gets irritating. After prolonged wear, I have noticed the bra still is not perfect for me. I think the cups are too narrow on bottom and also not filled, so the bra rides up and makes gaps at the top. I think the side underwire could be higher and the cups a tad wider on top (covering more toward the armpit), but that is the case with most bras.

In general, the Freya Deco Moulded Plunge bra gives nice cleavage but (at least with the sizes I tried and from what most of the model photos show) the cups cover a lot of boob so you can't show the cleavage in an average low-cut top without the bra showing. The straps are very wide (5/8 inches) and this is annoying because they absolutely don't need to be so thick (especially on petite people such as myself) and it makes most of my clothes incompatible with this bra. On the bright side, the straps are super adjustable and not hard or itchy.

I personally would have liked a little padding in the bottom, but otherwise it is a nice, cushioned, very rounded cup that is thick enough to keep you from distracting people on cold days, if you know what I mean. Good for under t-shirts and other smooth tops.

The band is not very stretchy, which I like. Very tight! There are three sets of two hooks on my bra.

    Look and feel:

This bra is totally cute, I love the colour. The pink and green go great together. (I bought the pistachio colour).

The bra is completely unlined which makes it really sexy and seethrough. The seams lie very flat and are undetectable under t-shirts, although I think the embroidery may show through.

It gives a nice natural shape as well.

My only complaint is that the underwires end shorter on the side (2.5cm shorter on the sides) than where the cups end.

    Fit:
The band is slightly tight, but a 30 would be to big I think. This combined with the shorter wires make it a ... bit uncomfortable, but I think it'll be more comfortable as it loosens up a bit.

The cups fit great, like a glove. Except on one side, where there's wrinkling, but that's kind of expected if you're not the same size on both sides.

    Edit:
After wearing this bra for a day, I'm concluding that the wires are a bit too narrow. I think it would be perfect if they were 12 or 13cm wide. Oh well, it's still cute, I just need to stretch the wires a bit.

If you have a narrow root, this bra could work for you.

Update: I don't wear this bra anymore. Turns out the cups were too small and it gave me a pointy shape.

  4. Gem Half Cup (1363)

    Fits

I think this has been the most surprising fit on this ongoing quest.

I don't know if this counts as an unlined bra, as it has two layers of fabric (maybe the inner one counts as lined?)....but it is definitely unpadded. This is the only unpadded bra I've put on that actually gives my soft, deflated boobs a nice shape, with good support and doesn't cause deep creases where the seams are. It even looks nice under clothing (though if you have very prominent nipples and don't want them to show, you might need to wear thicker fabric over it).

It's pretty comfortable. The band has decent, but ... not excessive, stretch to it.
I think the cups probably run true to size and I also think that it fits me in almost an unintentional way. Because of my short roots, the half cup fits like a full cup on someone else. They are slightly big on me...but only a very little bit..and I think this is because there is room for a taller root (though probably not very tall. Just more so than I am). I don't really get any gaping (which I have in pretty much every other bra). I get a little wrinkling, but find that even if I add padding, it's still there and that might just be the way the fabric pulls.
The gore sits flush, doesn't dig, and the width suits my wide-set roots.

It's a shame I kind of can't stand the color. It's a pinkish red (with pale pink bows) and does not match anything that is actually red...not that I own anything red anyway. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'd like to get it in the blue-ish color, but haven't found it in my size.

I generally have trouble finding something that has a short enough cup, that offers smooth shaping and wings high enough for decent side support, wide enough gores and underwires that enclose all of the side tissue, that doesn't dig into my sternum, and doesn't cause simultaneous gaping and quadboob. This bra has none of those problems for me and actually works! I am surprised every time I put it on! Out of 38 attempted bras, so far, only 4 have been close enough to fitting that I could cut the tags off.

sereneindeed this is extremely interesting! I hadn't thought of this bra as a possible fit solution for short roots in this size range. I'm glad you shared your analysis. Thanks for the review and pictures!

Thank you! It was an exciting discovery!

Bratabase has been so incredibly helpful and informative...I kind of love writing reviews and adding measurements and contributing to the community.

My particular size and shape issues seem to be an uncommon combination and I've had trouble finding advice for it specifically, here or anywhere else on the internet. But, with 7 billion people on the planet, I am positive there are others out there. If I am going to be on a (semi insanely obsessive) fitting bra mission, I might as well share what I find along the way. :)

This @Deco is a far cry from the Deco Charm I tried. There is more immediate/center projection in this model and it closes off at the top very fast. Albeit this bra is one cup size larger, I doubt the Deco Charm in a 28DD will be so severely different from the 28D. There is no projection anywhere in the Deco Charm. In my experience, the strapless version is wider than the other models. This model of the Deco working for me makes me eager to try the half cup Deco. I'm pretty sure that one will work for me, hopefully I can find it on sale at ... some point. After trying these two Freya bras in 28:4 and 28:5 I am positive that I could not wear a Freya size 30 band and not have it be entirely too large. There's my short comparison of the two Freya Deco's I have. Onto the review.
When I first tried on this bra I felt the band was too big and felt like I had to hook it on the tightest hooks, which I did easily. After wearing to work for a full night, I no longer feel that way and feel perfectly comfortable on the loosest hooks. Although I have only worn it with straps as of now, because well, I don't wear many strapless things especially in the winter. I don't believe that the bra would move too much without the straps. I have the straps quite loose any how. There are THREE silicone "bands" on this very wide band. I've never actually experienced the silicone banding on a strapless bra actually help keep the bra from sliding down my torso, but I've never worn a strapless bra that actually fits either. This band is nice and WIDE. About 2.5" wide and the wing is about 3.6" wide with 3 hooks per column and 3 columns. The hooks are a bit difficult for me to get clasped. Half the time I only end up getting the top and bottom eye hook done up or the middle hook and top/bottom hook. Often times I get my S.O to hook it for me.
I do not know if this bra came with straps or not, but I received it with none. There are two spots on the front and the back of the bra to pick wherever you would like to attach the straps. So there's a total of eight connection spots for the straps. Both placements seem fairly wide to me, so I chose the inner setting. These different sections give you multiple options for strap options.
The cups seem to encompass my entire breast quite well. The wires come up high enough to just about hold my tissue in the cup. I rarely feel the need to pull the top of my breast back into the cup. The wires are a bit too wide for me and spreads my tissue out more than I'd like. These wires are about 5" wide and I only need wires that are about 4.5" wide. This doesn't really bother me and I am quite comfortable and secure in the bra all night long. I also like the nice rounded shape that the bra gives me.
I think Gore's and myself are going to have issues adinfinitum. I seems that I need a gore that either comes up over an inch and a half or one that is almost non-existent to avoid them from digging in or being uncomfortable. Even if it is only slightly dis-comforting (like my Claudette bras that I love so). I have yet to try to slightly bend the gore's away from my body.
I only have about 0.4" worth of space between between my breasts. I used to think that I was very wide set as I could easily place three fingers between my breasts on my sternum, but now that most my tissue has migrated back to the front of my chest I now clearly see I do not have that much room there. I just don't have a whole lot of natural fullness there. Because of this I always seem to have the under wire sitting on my larger breast. Doesn't seem to matter how I try to adjust my bra. Thankfully it is not very noticeable due to my lack of fullness there. Along with this problem, if I have the under wire IMF on my left/smaller side, then the wire is sitting on my tissue on the right side. So. Yeah. I have some issues. Fortunately, they're not really noticeable or painful. It would just be nice to not have them. Perhaps one of these days I'll get around to sewing the wires together, perhaps overlapping them.

Thank you bobbiesj I work really hard to make sure my reviews are through and cover the whole range of fit and quality so that everyone can benefit and not just people in my size range. One day I hope to start a blog and inevitably my own bra brand as too many brands don't carry expanded sizes in the aesthetics that I desire.

Wow. This is a review I'm almost scared to write. This bra in this size fits me perfectly. I already own two of these bras. They are both about 10 months old. I'm still using the loosest hooks. I keep telling myself it's too good to be true... so often it is.

It's time to admit it: this bra really is perfect! No complaints on fit at all. I can wear these bras under my clingyest knits and they don't show. No binding, no pinching; I can wear these bras all day long and not think twice. The best above all: The set is so sexy! Hubby loves ... them too!

Some may complain about the cups being pointy but this is not the case for me. Just simple perfection.

I'm always searching for more colours. Hear me Freya? Keep putting them out or other bras based off of this like the Lyla because I will always buy them!

Update: These bras are now officially a year old and I'm just moving to the middle hooks. I'm just so geeked! When I used to try to make do with bigger band sizes they would always stretch out and be useless in only 10-25 wears. I actually am getting my money's worth now! Woohoo!

For info: I've grown a cup and this size no longer fits. I am definitely getting a 28E in this bra; I can't live without my precious Arabella.

This bra is really pretty, but unfortunately I don't think quite right for me. I'll probably keep it anyway - it's one of the two proper size bras I have, it's nice, and the fit is good enough I think. From what I can tell this bra expects more projection than I have, and as a result I get wrinkling above the apex. After remembering that straps are adjustable, the fit has improved dramatically - still a little bit of wrinkling (especially on righty) but much better, comfortable, and definitely a keeper.

The bra seems to be made of two cups - on insdide made of mesh, with very little stretch - where my fit issues seem to be originating from. The outer layer is stretchy mesh. Nothing about it is itchy at all.

Me: Average projection. Fuller on bottom. Slightly wider left breast (I suspect this breast is also 1-2 ml taller than my other breast). Usually wear 28DD or 30D.

This is a great bra for me. The cups encompasses both breasts nicely. Pretty comfortable bra, too. It's not itchy and doesn't dig into my sides. When I jump, my breasts aren't bouncing. It's a nice t-shirt bra. However, the very top of the cup can show through shirts on my right side; not the whole lining but maybe 2 inches of the lining on the right cup. Maybe it's because my right breast is slightly more narrow than my other ... breast. I can hide it with an undershirt and don't wear thin shirts. Fortunately, the bra doesn't show through shirts on my left side (the wider breast). The j-hook is a bit too tight so I don't see myself using it often.

Update: After wearing it for a day, the straps flip sometimes. When it flips, the straps start digging into my shoulders. I'm not a huge fan of the two small straps. If it was just one strap, it would probably be fine.

  9. Unchained Plunge Balcony Bra (5391)

    Didn't fit

The Freya Unchained Plunge Balcony Bra is another model based on Fancies, with a very similar fit, however it has a much taller cup and is functionally a high apex style. Since I am petite and the cups on Fancies already come pretty far up on me, this style didn't work on me, as there was just too much empty space at the top for me to fill. I suspect this would work well on someone who can wear the Fancies silhouette but has very tall roots.

Stylistically, this is quite a nice bra. I expected quite a stiff and scratchy mesh (Starlight Side Support Bra!), ... but actually the cups are made from soft and lightweight tulle with decently soft daisy embroidery. This material might not be supportive enough for larger cup sizes, but I found that due to the construction of the cups, I hardly noticed a difference with the fabric compared to the normal stiff Fancies lace. Overall the cup is just a taller and deeper Fancies, as the bottom half of the cup is taller and deeper, and the top panel is also taller with a closed off elastic edge, so you're going to need a lot more tissue on top and taller roots to fill this out. The gore is slightly lower than some other Freya Plunge Balcony styles.

In terms of other details, the bra keeps things simple, which I appreciate. There's a small opalescent crystal rondelle tacked to the center gore bow, which is super petite and delicate. Similar bows adorn the top of the cups where the straps attach, and this bra has smooth ribbon-like straps with a scalloped picot edging that is repeated throughout the elastic. The band is made from simple smooth mesh and feels good, running TTS for Freya bands. The only detail I could seriously do without is the zigzag elastic at the top of the cups which doesn't seem to match with the delicate details on the rest of the bra, and makes already tall cups taller.

This is literally the only bra I've found that fits me. I love it so much. (Not as big a fan of the original deco, since the cups flare out at the top on that one) I have a very narrow rib cage and very narrow, somewhat tall roots. Cups are always too wide for me, and end up wrapping around my sides and being intolerably uncomfortable. My boobs also aren't very squishy, so if a bra isn't shaped like me, well, it's out. I always have a problem with bras being too big just above the nipple area, and yet giving me quad boob. Deflated quad boob is not a good look. I guess I'm more rounded than the majority of bras? I've tried so many, and this is the only bra that gives me some real support and yet doesn't feel like it's trying to saw me in half. Hooray!

I'm regularly a shallow, slightly FoT 30D, but I read endless reviews that Freya bras tend to run big in the band, so I ordered a 28DD. For disambiguation, since different colorways often have a slightly different cut or stretch, this was the bright yellow "Zest". Well, the band fit fine, properly snug on the last hooks, but the cups were insanely narrow. I haven't put on a bra that narrow in the cups since I stopped wearing A cups. It was only 4" across! Whether this was a manufacturing error or just true of that particular model, I don't know, but that seems fairly ridiculous to me for a brand and model known for being fairly good for shallow breasts. If I can find the Deco Plunge in a physical store in 28DD and 28E in other colors, I may try again, because the material itself was perfectly pleasant against my skin. As it was, I only ordered this color because it was the cheapest price.

Ugh! Freya! Get it together! Inconsistent sizing makes me crazy. A 4.0" wide cup that is 6.5" deep is what I would expect to find on a 28C. Maaaaaybe a 28D.

Super fun color and straps though!

    • 4

FWIW you're not the first one to notice Decos cups are pretty useless. It's too wide & shallow for 99% of the larger size range & too narrow for most of the small end.

    • 2

I don't think going up a cup size will be much help. When I look at your side on picture and front on picture I can see that the seems on the band aren't sitting far back enough. They are quite forward. I think you should try a size 30 band as it looks as though you need the width not projection. Hope this helps :) Good luck.

    • 2

I agree with Ambie-Australia, if you sister size up the cup should be wider, and you could alter the band down or have someone else alter it. :)

    • 3

It's definitely a matter of width, not projection. Any more projected and my smaller side would gape terribly. I read a very detailed Amazon review from someone whose 28DD was actually wider in the cup than their 30D, though, so I'm entirely unconvinced going up in the band in this case will help.

While this may not be a perfect fit according to bra-fitting experts, I call it a fit. If there is a bra in existence that meets all the criterion of "fits" for me, I've yet to find it. This isn't really "padded" (like Freya Deco, for example). The cups are about 1/16" thick, and they stretch a little. Rapture is so SOFT, and comfortable, and pretty. I love the fabric; it's supportive but not constrictive. This bra is very lightweight, but it's not flimsy or weak. My boobs stay in the cups, and they are supported (relative to my size, of course.). The bad: Rapture's ... cups are a little too wide for me; the center gore is a little too low; when I bend certain ways I get quad-boob (esp. on my left side); and the straps are pretty far apart for my small frame. I don't think sizing up in the cups would work for me. The cups are so wide already, I don't get much "lift", and sizing down the band isn't an option in this universe. The good: I don't care. I love this bra. It feels great. Rapture looks nice under all clothing, and it feels cuddly and comforting. Out of my bras, Rapture's fit, on me is most similar to Freya Marvel side-support bra (which is another not-perfect fit that I love anyways). I paid $70.00 for Rapture, which is pricy for me, but I had no other option. Bras this easy to wear are few and far between and there's a lot to be said for quality. Two bras that have not caused me migraine and neck pain are Freya Marvel and Freya Rapture, so I hope their designs are paradigms for future Freya offerings! Luckily this sturdy bra will last a long time, and I'll enjoy the comfort it provides.

The band is a bit snug on the largest hook as this bra has little to no stretch. It feels very sturdy. The cups aren't too big on me, and they give me a rounded shape (I seem to be in the minority). The stitching on the cups is visible through thin, light colored tops.
It is a bit minimizing, so I wear it with my snug tops if I need help to fit into them comfortably - the tight band gives me more definition.

ETA 1/23/14: An update, more than a year(? I don't really remember when I got it) on. I cycle these bras through with ... my others, but generally only wear them when I have 2 layers (a long sleeve under a tshirt) or a tight tee with a design on the chest. Why? These are my lowest band bras and as such give me the best definition, so they help my tight tshirts fit better and I look bustier to top it off (a plus at my size, I think). My design tees tend to be a bit thicker than plain ones and the print on the front (or two layers) disguises the lines on the cups so they don't show through.
These have worn pretty well, the band has stretched enough that it's quite comfortable but I haven't had any riding up, regardless, I've just moved to the middle hook on my older white bra (not yet on my 6 months younger black version). However, the fabric of the sides and cups has become discolored in the white version, which is kind of disappointing. I don't wear it for consecutive days and I swear I shower every day, so I don't know what it is. Besides sad. The underwires are still in good shape and these have actually become my most comfortable bras. That's good, because they certainly aren't lookers on their own.

    • The problem is that once I started adding all the information on Bratabase, these bras were fairly worn in. I'm afraid the measurements would be stretched and not indicative of how this bra measures when new.

How about cup depth? Since the band measurement is already there.

It's an alright bra. It doesn't do anything magical for me other than maintain a rounded shape. It gives a lot more coverage than i had expected. I do get a little wrinkling at the top of the cups, however the 28D caused major spillage so the 28DD will have to do.

The lace detail is nice, the amethyst (purple) colour is nice. The straps have real potential, i don't think they'll loosen on their own easily like some other bras.

As a side note, i found the matching shorts were quite generous and had to be sent back for a smaller size.

Me: Average projection. Fuller on bottom. Slightly wider left breast (I suspect this breast is also 1-2 ml taller than my other breast). Maybe tall roots? Usually wear 28DD or 30D.

Great fit. Encompasses both breasts nicely. Although, there is slight quad boob on the right breast but barely noticeable. Perfect fit on my left breast. I'd say this bra fits me 95%, which is pretty good since my breasts aren't 100% exactly the same. Comfortable bra and doesn't dig into my chest at all. Coral is a nice color, too.

  17. Sansa Underwired Plunge Balcony Bra (5191)

    Fits

After my disappointing experience with the Sansa Bralette in 28DD, I wasn't sure if I should risk trying the Unlined Plunge Bra version, but I decided to go for it because I had a hunch that it was built on the Fearne block. I am thrilled to report that this deduction was correct, and that the Sansa Unlined Plunge actually fits me perfectly (I had to make some adjustments to my Fearne due to the wire shape).

The main thing that drew me to the Sansa styles in the first place is the pretty floral print and lace styling. It's definitely a girly bra, and the styling ... is appealing enough to me to bypass my general dislike of printed bras and aversion to white bras. Sansa is definitely super pretty, with super soft white geo stretch lace upper cups, super soft floral print fabric, and a fancy floral textured strap.

I find that the cut of the cups is similar to Fancies, only in a super lightweight nonstretch tricot instead of nonstretch lace. It isn't as deep or as projected as other Freya cuts, so it works well on me. The upper panel is just right and sits against my body without any extra space or gapping. The wires, however, have some inconsistency, just like other Fancies variants. I've purchased over 10 Fancies in the same size, and have gotten some narrow J shaped wires, some nicely rounded wires, and some wide, splayed swoosh wires. Even my Fearne came with weird wires that gave me a horribly distorted fit at first. So, if you want Fancies to be your fit, I highly recommend you get comfortable with bending your wires.

The band on this style significantly differs from Fancies, which has the gate back with 1 hook. Sansa/Fearne has a pretty sturdy mesh band that runs TTS for Freya bras, and it has a super wide hook panel that helps the band feel nice and secure. It's also a full band style, which helps the band stay in place. My only callouts on this bra are the weird triangular metal charm at the center gore that I've seen on so many Freya fashion styles, and the fact that the fabric overlay on the straps makes it difficult to adjust the straps. If you wear your straps on the short side like I do, you'll have to adjust the strap over the fabric, which can be a bit tricky. I wish they hadn't done this, as the strap itself is pretty enough.

All in all, the Sansa/Fearne is a great, comfortable, lightweight summer style that will surprise you with its soft materials.

    • Since it fits you differently from Fearne, wouldn't that mean it's not the same cut as Fearne? Or am I missing something here?

    • hurrrrrmione No, it fits identically to Fearne. If you compare measurements here and put the two bras on top of each other, you can see they are the same. The block refers to the pattern that the bra is based on. All the fabric panels are the same, the only difference is the wire shape.

As I mentioned in my review, Freya bras frequently come with differently shaped underwires in the same model. I’ve purchased over 10 Fancies in the same size and the wire shape varies between the different ones, but in general the measurement of the cups is the same. This is a quality issue with having consistently shaped underwires in the bras, since all the wires are the same length, but some are more open, some are narrower, etc.

Once you bend the wires to the same shape, the fit on all of the bras is identical.

i'm reluctant to try freya due to the deco plunge's reputation for narrow wires. i kind of liked the molded halfcup, but i didn't want pushup padding. however, the marvel is not as narrow, and has been known to work for some shallow-breasted people.

it didn't work for me. the cup is a little too projected and fot for my boobs. i filled out the bottom but there was no lift to my shape, and there was wrinkling on the top edge of the cup. the wires were incredibly hard and painful, especially at the gore. i've worn this a couple of times, trying to justify these issues, ... but the pain is too much. bra pain is commonplace, but i have to remember that it's unacceptable.

side ramble: it's funny how despite being bravangelized i still have a tendency to ignore fit issues. when trying on a new bra i hope that it's the end of my search. as i raise my standards of bra fit, i've realized that bras i had marked as "fit" years ago definitely don't fit. the wires were too narrow, the gores were too high, the bands were too loose, but i tried to make it work anyway despite feeling uncomfortable. i'm struggling to accept that the average person tries on 25 different bras before finding the right one. i'm not giving up, but sometimes i just really want to.

So, the first time I wore this bra around my mother, she looked at me and said, "What? Did you get a boob job?" She wasn't joking either. This bra is shaped so that it holds all my tissue without pushing any into my armpits, or cutting across my breast tissue. With a low cut shirt, it gives a rounded, uplifted shape that's just about impossible to achieve with my small size. This bra doesn't push my boobs into each other, or smush them down...it's a very, comfortable, natural fit. The cup design is optimal for my body and breast shape the way push-up bump pads work for many other people. This is such a durable, comfortable bra, I will buy as many of these as I can afford. This fits me as well as Panache Porcelain (in 30DD) but the cups are not full-coverage (like the Porcelain), so this is perfect for low necklines.

    • Is this the wireless one? It looks great on you. I get what you mean about avoiding full coverage cups! That's always one of my goals.

    • It is not the wireless one. The wireless one seemed more to cover me, but it didn't offer support.

    Didn't fit

I so wanted this bra to fit because the print is lovely. It's got a lot of fit issues, I'll list them out:
The cups: too small! I would say this bra runs small in the cups. Either that or it's too shallow for my average/slightly above average projection. I'm quading on both sides.

The wires: Very narrow. I think I can size up in the cup and get a fit because these wires are so narrow. A larger cup might be projected enough and the wires shouldn't be wrapping around my back. If I can try this in larger cup I will. These are super firm, ... very stabby wires. They stab on the gore and sides. There is no cushioning at all, and with wires this firm, if you don't have much padding around your rib cage it might be too uncomfortable to wear.

The band: Why is it so lose?? I measure a 26 band, but even so I can tell this band runs loose. It lifts off my frame at the bottom. It also only has 2 hook columns. I take really good care of my bras and so I like my bras to have longevity, seeing only 2 is disappointing. .

The straps: Ouch, my armpits! These are thick, stiff straps. All straps are wide on me but because of the size and material they really dig in and hurt. It might soften up with washing. I've never had straps that weren't short enough before. They are very stretchy and I had to put them as short as they will go, it's OK, but I would prefer a more snug fit.

Overall this is a very strange bra, fit wise. Only 2 hook columns, stabby wires from hell, loose band and straps, wide and very hard straps. It doesn't feel supportive because everything is so lose and stretchy.
And so the hunt for something that fits me continues...
