The most important thing to know about my breasts is that they're very pendulous and the tissue is very soft. I have relatively narrow roots, medium height. They're also splayed and wide-set.
This bra is fantastic. First, appearance: this bra is so beautiful. The color I ordered, saffron, is splendid and the kind of ruddy shade that works with any skintone. It's rare to see lace underlaying a mesh panel--it's usually lace over mesh--but the effect here of the top panel of the cup overlaid on the lace edge is really stunning. The underwire is just firm enough, but not panache hard, and the mesh band means the whole thing is supremely comfortable. The four part cup allows for a a lot of depth at the wire, plus the back sits straight on me, which is rare (back fat is real, fam). This bra sits good, feels good, looks good. It's a keeper.

Man, I really wish this bra worked for me! It's so soft and smooth. This one has a four part cup construction, and a section that acts as a side support sling, which is really nice. The lace inset at the top of the bra is just beautiful. Unfortunately, the cup is too short, so it digs in at the top of my root slightly, despite the stretch, and there isn't enough depth at the IMF, especially my right breast, to make it work.
This bra is a one of my favorites...comfortable, supportive enough and beautiful all in one...this is the bra I wear 70% of the time, just because its so comfortable and supportive enough.

Fit
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend ...past the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
Band: * length: way too big * wings: too short, boobs escape * no axillary skin spillage
Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.
Cups: * Cups far too big. Fabric only covers breasts and provides no shaping. * Wires wide enough (SO RARE). * Could fit a full fist inside the cup.
Straps: * too far apart, slip * adjust short enough
Comfort & Fit Summary * I tried this bra because it is recommended for side support and center pull straps. I should have looked at the pictures first because they are NOT center-pull straps. I can't speak to side support since the band & cups were way too big. * I chose this size based off a measurements search here on bratabase. I used my _leaning_ horizontal perimeter to predict cup depth and that was a bad idea. Laying horizontal perimeter is a better predictor (or somewhere between the two measurements). * I don't know what I was thinking when ordering a 36 band. The measurements table shows it would be far too big for my rib cage and it is right. * Ordered a 36E (same band, one cup larger) at the same time (reviewed separately) -- so I didn't just click the wrong size. Who knows what I was thinking! * Consider trying a 32E. The 32DD would probably have a better depth, but the cups will be far too narrow (and Fantasie wires are stiff). Read more 298 more words
This was bought for my mom, it has a high center gore and torso material is long. The band is super stretchy, I am sure a person that is normal 38 band will fit this.
This was my 2nd attempt at a bra-sized bikini after losing almost 90 pounds and discovering that D wasn't the end up the cup-size rainbow. I probably was a 34J when I bought it, but who knew that was a real thing?! So this review is based on my belief that it's pretty true to size. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! The wires seem narrower and not as high under the arms as many others. Also, the cups are cut a little lower on the top/outside by the straps, so the (sweetheart?) style is a little sexier than full coverage, without the risk of a plunge. The straps are fully adjustable with bronze metal hardware; the hook is black plastic. The cups are 3-part seamed with lining in the 2 bottom sections. The strap actually attaches to the bottom outside portion for better lift. It's a true balconette. The wings are lined from the cup edge to the fabric-covered plastic stays. The coordinating drawstring top briefs run larger than many brands but are equally gorgeous and well made.
This is amazing quality but is definitely the wrong size for me. Boob tissue escapes from everywhere when doing S/S. The center gore doesn't sit against my sternum. The straps dig into my shoulders terribly. The band digs into my ribcage and the underwires dig in on the front. The cups seem too shallow and makes quadboob.
99% perfect. Love the smoothing cups to hide headlights & uneven breast size, and wear under any fabric. Love the support. Wish it were sexier and that it came in 1/2 cup larger to avoid the suggestion of quadraboob on the larger side. Update: i will be looking for a 34ff now that i've worn my Rhiannon for a bit & have either migrated &/or refined a preference for a tighter band. I will also be pursuing a better fit in their ava - both have lower gores.
