I love this. It's a little on the tight side, band-wise, but I'm going to the gym and losing a little weight and toning up so I'm currently using an extender (and have adjusted the straps) but think this will change soon. The colour is very vivid, almost more of an orange-red, and quite shiny. It's extremely comfortable, and my only complaint is that it's not quite as supportive as I would like in the upper cup. I should point out this is due to my very soft breast tissue rather than the bra though. It's the first Ewa I have that I feel comfortable in.

Lace at top makes this a flexible fit. Still too small, but good depth and cut.

I have been hoping to try a Polish bra. I found this 85H - Ewa Michalak » Bm Lazur on sale in close to my size (went one cup size up, but I probably need an H in most of my bras). I wasn't terribly surprised the band was really snug. It took some work to get it hooked, but after the first wear, it was okay. I might try it with an extender to see if that helps with the cup issues, at all. Speaking of which, the cup is way too small. I have quite a bit of quad-boob, even with the stretch lace. ... The width of the wires is good and the immediate projection isn't bad, but it's just too small. I would probably want to go up to maybe a 90 or 95 HH. Or perhaps a different cut?

Update: with a generous extender this is MUCH more comfortable, but still provides almost no support because while the band is now an okay length, the volume of the cup is way to small and it's just a boob hat. Also, the mesh has started to rip in several places after single wear and wash. I'm sure the strain of the too-small size is not helping, but I'm not sure it's worth trying EM bras anytime soon.

I kind of guesstimated my size in the bra without taking any measurements. Overall the fit is pretty good, but I notice that the band is a bit loose so it doesn't quite stay in place throughout the day. I think going to an 80 should fix that. I would imagine that the gore would also tack better if the band was a bit smaller. The cups fit pretty much perfectly although I am a bit too large for them during my cycle. I have one of the pads in on my smaller side to even things out. This bra is definitely more stunning in person.

Edit: It comes with a little jewel in the center but I have managed to knock that off somehow so it's not in the pictures.

This bra is so close to what fits for my shape that it is a fine substitute for the "perfect bra" ....I think. Just be prepared for quad boob right around the cleavage area since I have narrow roots and am extremely full especially in the middle my breasts tend to fall forward pushing the gore out and down causing the wires to sit below the fold of my natural imf. This bra also manages to sit well beyond where my breasts tissue ends under my arms, if I even had any breast tissue under there. Any helpful fit suggestions would be appreciated sorry for all the messy writing.

    • Maybe do a fit suggestion with photos that don't have drawings on them and directly to the front, from the side and to the back. It's hard to see the fit in these photos. Here is a good guide for fit reviews:

      Thanks

    • I really don't feel like the ones without drawings will help much more since what is going on with the tissue under the bra isn't obvious but anything is worth a gander thanks a bunch

    • Yes we cannot see what the tissue issues are but we may find the culprit with photos that are not drawn on. A few of the mods from ABTF are here and will need certain photos to help diagnose what is happening that is why I suggested it.

2 things that ppl have tried, to help with Ewa's lack of space for center fullness. 1 - take in the bottom of the gore. Sew it together more narrowly. This obviously cna only be done if the band is has some extra length. But it changes the shape of the cup and can help with the areas of the cup being in the wrong place. I havent tried this.

What I do is reverse-swoop-scoop, at least 2-3 times a day. When i notice the band starting to dig in more . .. i remember thats because my center fullness has started to climb out over the gore. I put my hand in to the outer side of the cup, and pull my breast tissue towards the outside of the cup, where there is more space, and away from the gore they are trying to overwhelm. Then I can shift the band up in the front, pull it down in the back, and thread the straps through towards the back. I do this a few times, it keeps me comfortable enough in her bras.

Also, her SF model has more room for center fullness.

    • dbmamaz I definitely already am a master of the backwards or side ways swoop it's driving me crazy I can't be swooping in my shirt at work like guys do with their own junk ! I was caught descretely swooping or attempting to, i can't lie it really was the funniest uninterrupted misunderstood stare down . My coworker still brings up me seeming to rubbing my chest while making eye contact, ha anyways looking for any option not to dig into my bust multiple times to readjust.

This is a gorgeous and comfortable bra. The design is beautiful. There are two decorative black straps from the gore to the actual straps, which will show above tops unless they are high-cut enough to show absolutely no cleavage. The material is surprisingly translucent.

It doesn't technically fit me. I ordered the band size EM's calculator recommended, and one cup size up (because my size was sold out, and my shape suggested that could potentially work). The band is great, even on the loosest hooks - unlike 85 Comexim bands, which are too large even on the tightest hook. For reference, I wear 34 bands in UK bras, and ... 38s are much too large.

It doesn't have quite enough projection or immediate projection for me, like every bra I've ever tried, despite the cups being too large. The wire width is pretty close to ideal. The gore is a thumb away from tacking. The top of the cup gaps slightly on my larger side, and quite a lot on my smaller side, unless I pull my shoulders as far back as they can go. My bras that are closest to fitting are UK 34H or 34HH.

It is an unpadded bra, and arrived in a tiny package, in perfect condition, 10 days after ordering it. Germany shares a border with Poland, but shipping over the holidays was slow.

Overall, I am very happy to have this bra, and it is one of my most comfortable ones. My quest for a perfect fit continues. Does anyone have a recommendation for cuts or brands with more projection and comparably narrow wires around this size range?

of my 3 Ewa Michalak cuts I've tried, the SM was the least projected and the S was the most projected. Might be worth a try. Also, my SM band is also ridiculously short - you might not want to order an 85 in other models.

    • 1

Ewa's scaling works partially by band size, so by going up 2 band sizes, your cups are going to get taller, wider, and shallower. I'd suggest going down in the band to closer to your normal size to see if the scaling works more in your favor. If the band is too tight, you can always use an extender with it. The S cut would be sturdier for you, and should have more immediate projection in your size range.

    • The band size is really perfect on this particular bra, despite it being labelled as an 85 - I don't want to fasten it on the middle hooks, much less go down one. (I -could- fasten it on any of the hooks, as I can on any of my UK 34s, but this is very comfortable - much more comfortable than those). I suspect I'd find UK 36s more comfortable than UK 34s, but I get tacking gores (or side-tacking gores, for non-plunges) on 34s and not 36s for the bras I've tried on at Bravissimo, and can fasten the 34s even on their tightest hooks, though I wear them on the loosest (the bands are quite stretchy, compared to my Polish bras). My Comexim 85 and my UK 38s ride up, on their tightest hooks; this bra doesn't, on its loosest.

The cup height is fine on my larger breast, and only a little too high on my smaller one. The width is hard to judge precisely due to the shallowness, but is nearly right. Excessive shallowness and the gaping from the cups being a size too big are the main fit problems.

It sounds like it's worth trying an S cut. How do the plunges (are those all PL?) tend to be, in terms of immediate projection? I'd be surprised to get tacking gores with any other cut, given how close-set my breasts are.

    • I've never tried a PL because i'm very soft and center-heavy.

    • but i dont find band tightness to affect tacking much? it can make the cups shallower, tho, if you over-tighten.

    • I get along with the plunges I have, both British and Polish. They aren't projected enough, like my other bras, but my breasts stay in place reasonably well in them. While I'm very close-set, my breasts are more full on the sides than in the middle.

Band tightness doesn't directly affect tacking. Sister-sizing to smaller bands leads to deeper cups quite often though, and that extra depth can make a bra tack sometimes. This comes at a cost to comfort, though. I can't imagine wearing a UK 32 band at my current measurements and UK 38s are uniformly way too big, so it's a matter of minor differences like 36GG vs 34H, unless I really compromise fit way too much.

The PL I've tried was a bit small in the cup, but had better projection than the S's I've tried. CHP was the best of the cuts of hers that I have tried for immediate projection, and you should just be at the upper end of her sizing range for that cut. 75HH/80H/85GG. I've tried 80GG/HH/85GG for EM sizee ranges.

I love Ewa Michalak bras. They definitely fit me the best. Especially yhe balconette styles. If I had to complain about anything... the straps are a bit too far apart. Would be great if they would make them adjustable. You know with a hook on the strap & 2-3 loops sewn into the cup top. So we could move them inward or outward as needed. Oh, wouldn't it be cool if they did that on the back too? Then the bra could be semi convertible! Hmmm who can we get to talk to her...

    • Yes,I've thought about that as well.I had a bra that was strapless and convertible and it had loops to hook and it was so nice to put the straps where I wanted. Also if you ever want to get rid of this bra let me know. ;)
