    Didn't fit

This is the CH Biszkopty, for some reason it didn't show up on the list, and when I tried to add it, it said it was already listed https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":s" />
    This could be it!
The cups are very close together, which I like both to give the shape I want, and to fit my close set boobs.
I know many people have all sorts of thumb rules of how EM bras fit, but I've got to say, I find this to run quite true to size. Maybe a slightly snugger band? Which is fine with me, I measure 33.5", so snugish 34's are good ... for me (I realize this is in fact a 36, silly me tried it on, and was so thrilled that I took of the tag, before trying the 75HH which I had ordered for comparison, which was in fact a better fit. *sigh* - so I close this on tightest hook, and will alter it if needed when/if it stretches)
The shape that it creates* is exactly what I want: Front center, and 'outwards' rather than horizontally boobs on chest, or vertical boobs on chest (Eh, don't know if I explain properly, but many bras give wide boobs, and then some, push-up's and that sort of thing, also puts a lot of boob on the chest, but upwards toward the collar bone. I prefer to have them take up as little space as possible on the body, and go outwards instead)
I got the most plain bra I could, as I like to wear white dresses etc, and this is perfect: I quite liked the looks of the Toffik, but I think it would have been too dark for me, and this is my skin tone almost exactly.
It has very narrow wires, which is perfect! It is perhaps ½-1" too narrow on my left boob (the biggest) and ½-1" too wide for my right boob (the smallest - even with pad to correct asymmetri), so I would say that is pretty perfect! In other bras, it is ½-1" too wide on the big boob, and several inches too wide on the other!
I was a little surprised by the material for the bras: I had hard so much about how luxurious they felt etc., and I didn't find that - I don't know what it is, it seems the thin padding is made of some material that makes a rustling sound when you touch it? But other than that, it is fine, the quality seems good, and even for the most 'boring' bra they had, it is quite cute! Decorated straps (fully adjustable), which also helps them stay in place, bows on the top of the cup and on the center gore, a little floral-lace with gold threads along the edge of the cup. I love it!
And the band is soo comfortable! Very wide under the arms and all the way to the straps, gives good side support, and control some back-rolls, and then it plunges down a bit to the 3 hooks, so you don't need to worry that it will be seen under top which has a scoop on the back.

*There is a strange fold on it right now, which distorts the shape it could give, so let me get back to you on that one!

  2. S Diament (582)

So I'd read that attaching/detaching the straps was an issue with this model (as in, incredibly difficult), looks like that's been solved. Tho' I will say that inserting the hook toward your center rather than away makes them more stable. They came attached facing the other way and kept popping off as I attempted to put on the bra.

As with the other S I've tried, I sized up in the cup to get enough depth, but I've got a slight shape mismatch at the top; just don't have the upper fullness the bra wants. The cookie inserts pretty much clear up the issue on my larger breast, there ... is still a wee amount on the smaller. It's not unlike what I experienced with the Freya 36G - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) , but with less coverage. It's not a deal breaker here, but I will most likely steer clear of S cuts in the future unless I can try one on before buying since wire width and depth at the wire are otherwise perfect, so I'm not sure going with my usual cup size would fix the issue.

Not that I have really any exposed back or halterneck tops, but now I have a good reason to get one. Also, I like the racerback option, since the straps on this bra are a bit further apart than I'm used to and I have tiny shoulders. In the usual configuration the straps placement was okay but close to too wide territory.

Will update this review should I encounter other issues or points of note.

  4. S Glamour (813)

So this is my first time with an S cut from EM; I'd read it was a good idea to go up one cup size to get the depth needed, but I don't think I needed to. I experience a small amount of gap at the top of the cups without the corrective cookie pads. The cookie pads completely correct it in my larger breast, the smaller one still has it. The area of the cups near the gore is fine, sits flush as expected; the gap starts about 3" from the straps, similar to the Freya @Deco.

The wire width is perfect tho', so maybe the S cut ... won't ever give me a perfect fit, which is ok. This one is pretty damn close, and with the CHP and BM cuts giving me a perfect fit I'm not really complaining.

As for the look/feel, it's so nice to have a neutral bra that's not plain or one color. (Similarly, why I love the Panache Envy.) This one certainly does look glamorous; it has a wonderful vintage asthetic, with wee pompons on the lace bow at the center. I feel like this bra was designed with the classic 1940s movie star in a fancy robe/bedroom accoutrements look in mind.

This is only with a few minutes wearing/testing it out, so I'll be certain to update my review with longer wear if an issue presents itself.

As a note the matching panties run slightly small/tight, probably due to the lace construction. They too have the adorable pompons.

This bra is gorgeous. It was in my first Ewa Michalak order to determine sizing, and it is too big. I keep thinking I will take to a seamstress to have the cups adjusted along the top so that it will fit, but haven't done so yet. Other than not filling out the tops of the cups this bra is amazing. The lace is so pretty!. I have since ordered other SM styles, which I am still waiting to arrive. These are perfect bras for the summer because they are so light and airy. Your girls can breathe in these lacy beauties https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • Ewa Michalak SMs are my soft cup Holy Grail bras.
What other SMs did you get?

    • Oh yes, I LOVE sm for summer. I have four now and they are the BEST for hot, sweaty days. The lace is beautiful on your Wrozka. Too bad its a bit loose on the top.

    • I am waiting for the SM Fiolecik and Sm Walentynka. I am waiting for them to get here before I order more to make sure I have the size right. :)

    • Fiolecik is beautiful. I love mine.
I like the Walentynka, but don't care for red on myself. I'm a bit jealous of those that can wear it well.

    • I am hoping that I can wear it well :)

    • Oh I love my Wróżka. It was my first SM and I fell in love. I wear it often now that the weather is heating up. If you can have it adjusted to fit how you want, do it. This bra is awesome.

    • I just need to find a good seamstress :)

This bra is gorgeous! I am not usually a fan of white bras, but I can't resist a Ewa sheer bra. Perfect round shape, absolutely comfortable, and an adorable thong to go with it. This will definitely be going into the regular rotation. Ewas Sheer bras never cease to amaze me, how such thin material could support so well! This one is exclusively sold through Bra Obsessed right now. I am not sure if or when it will be released on the EM website.

pictures, come on! at least of the bra!

Yes, photo or it didn't happen ;-). I'm going to order my first sheer EM bra this week, so exciting, I so hope it will fit!

Can you tell me something about the sizing in this style? Do you have other EM styles, and do you wear the same sizes?

I'm between a 75FF and 75G in the pl style, and thinking about ordering a sheer sm in 75FF or F, as I hear they're bigger, but I'm not sure which one would be best.

I have an SM in 70J - its a touch shallow and I look squared off in it, so I wonder if I should have gone higher, but its also rather tall? Idk. I didnt like the way it fit me, tho, overall. I do need a bigger size in the S - padded sizes run smaller

    • I have a similar squared off issue with the HM (unpadded half cup style), which makes me fearful that I will have similar issues in the SM, but I find them so beautiful that I'm going to try it anyway. They are the prettiest unlined bras I've encountered yet. I must say I prefer unlined bras to padded ones, so owning a few pretty unlined bras (next to my well fitting but very girly looking unlined Cleos) is high on my wish list!

    • 1

Charlotteke The HM cut makes my breasts look like a loaf of bread, but the SM is my soft cup Holy Grail bra. I have nine and I'm eagerly awaiting her to put out more that I like. I want the Wanilla, but it isn't available in my size through Bra Obsessed, so I'm waiting.

    • Bahahaha!!! A loaf of bread!! I'm picturing this & laughing out loud.

But that's encouraging, I hope I will have a similar experience, and if so, I'm ordering ALLl the sheer SM bras I can find, plus the lacy ones! The Wanilia looks lovely, but the 80 USD that bra obsessed charges is too much for me right now. I hope it will become available on Ewa's site soon.

I just ordered the Czarna Mgielka in 75FF, as I could sort of convince myself that I do need a basic black bra (well, need is a BIG word, but hey).

    • 1

I have the Czarna. It's lovely. I highly recommend matching bottoms, especially with that particular bra. It's so frilly and girly!

Also, Bra Obsessed charges in CAD, so the 80CAD for the Wanilla is around 60USD.

    • 1

Ah, that makes sense I guess! I thought it was a bit much, but it would probably still be cheaper for me to order it directly from EM, as I'm located in Europe. We'll wait and see if the Wanilia pops up in EM's own store...

    • I have Czarna in 55G on the way! Hopefully it fits well (and is done by Christmas). My Ewa order status is: awaiting supply. So it will probably take forever. The whole time I'll be wondering if the 55G will even fit me...

    • 1

My EM order is still awaiting supply too - but it said ready in 16 days, and last 2 times they really were. today was 16 days, tho! so i'm stressed now

    • 1

PetiteCollegiate I bet it'll fit. Mine is a good fit in a 65F.

I've noticed that anything awaiting supply is typically done in 10-15 business days.

    • I wish SM would work for me. I get a bit of pushing in on the side and loose material on the top. Fiolecik was soooo close.

    • I still have fiolecik. it fits better some days than others. but its not clearly too big or too small, so i wear it sometimes.

I really need to list my perla but i'll wait until i have my other BM. hopefully i'll be less sad that way

    • 1

jlcl119 SM fitting you well in 65F is actually why I took the gamble! :) I figure that we're pretty close to the same volume. Most things that fit you in the cups seem to fit me as well.

And that's good! I was worried it would be one of those super long EM waits I've heard about.

    • 1

I've noticed that too, yay for boobie buddies!

I've not had any super long waits yet. I've placed half a dozen orders so far and I usually have them in hand within a month. I hope I didn't just curse myself :/

    • Pictures are up:)

    • It is a sweet bra!

    • Well bonjourhi, I just ordered a 75FF Czarna Mgielka. Should it not work out for me you could try it ;-)

Didn’t get to measure it before I returned it, but it was way too small. The wires sat on breast tissue on the sides. Gave me pointy boobs because it was so narrow. The gore did have a soft tack. Not a fan of the color either. I also tried it one size bigger, but it was not a good fit either.

I had expected a lot since I saw this bra. But when I got this, I was even not sure it fits or not. It squashes? flattenes? boobs a bit near the nipples having some gap at the same time. May be fits better tall rooted, firm and fot breasts, not my short rooted, soft and pendulous breasts. This reminds me of Panache Ariza because of the shape it gives (and the beuatiful embroidery too)

However the bra itself is just wonderful. It looks sturdy, beautiful and gives great support. The gore is very narrow. The bands fit like a typical ewa 80 /uk 34~36.

edit : I found the gore floating a bit. Yep. It is definitely too shallow for me.

A great wedding bra. So elegant with beautiful lace and a pearl ornament on the gore. The wire is very narrow and soft like other EM bras. However, the cups are a little bit shallow at the bottom and tall for me.

This is my first Ewa Michalak bra, and although the fit isn't perfect, I can see why people love this brand so much!
The cups are slightly too big for me, so next time I will definitely order a cup size down.
Otherwise, it's very comfortable, looks great, and gives an amazing shape!

Great bra, really comfortable, love wide straps and the fact that straps are not overly stretchy due non-elasticated band sewn over in middle. Only downside me wearing it - due having soft breasts i do need to readjust couple times during day as breasts do tend to fall ever so slightly in middle but not as much as it would happen with Freya Deco which i also love https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Oh, and i also from day one started to wear on 2nd row of hooks so perhaps i could do with one band size smaller but then again i worry it might be too tight. However band hasn't stretched out after couple month wear so i hope i'll be fine with this size for quite some time https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra was a bit too large in the cup for me, but I expected that because I'm between cup sizes. By adding one pad to the larger side (1/2 a cup volume) and two pads to the smaller side (1 cup volume), I was able to get rid of the gaping on the top. However, there is still the problem that the gore doesn't lie flat. I also didn't like the shape I got from this bra.

Therefore I decided to return this bra.

Beautiful bra! But wrong size. I would say perhaps they run a bit small in the cup? Fully adjustable straps, good quality it seems... I had a CH bra (forgot the name after that... Started with a B and had a 'z' in it... I have it, so look it up, if you must), where the foam-lining sort of squeeked? But this doesn't, it's quite nice. Shape seemed good: I have not really considered plunges before, because I felt it couldn't possible hold the boobs in the middle, but this seemed to be constructed well, so I am giving it a chance https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> (In another size)

This looked very different from how I thought! Not sure I like it! It's very girly: The base is pink (thought it would be more latte), and the ribons are soft pink and creped, and there are some foam-tassels in the middle. Too much for my taste. Since the size is a bit off (though the cups seem bigger on this one, than on the Pl Black), I don't think I will bother with getting it in another size.

This bra was too large. Do not use Ewa Michalak's size charts!

Quality-wise it compares to a Cacique bra. The fabric seemed kind of cheap and some seams were puckered. The band was extremely stretchy.

Be aware, that the cups on this bra are quite tall. So even if the depth and width are the same as bras that fit you, it will be too large due to height.
