I'm so happy that I finally got this bra! I loved the SF Szaron, with its muted tones, and hated the FB Myszerej, with its hot pink trim - but since they used the same base fabric, I asked for and was granted a custom FB with the Szaron styling. Because I've discovered that the FB is actually the most comfortable bra I've found.

Well, the first order was a fail - they sent me a standard Myszerej. So we did an exchange - they shipping first, actually! And now I have my nice, muted bra.

The band is a bit tight ... - hopefully it'll stretch out a little, eventually! The first FB I had was very lightly used, but I think it had been washed in the washing machine, which may be why the band was not so tight. Not that I'll do that!

Anyways, just like my last FB, the Tanya, these cups seem slightly big on me. There's a bit of loose fabric on my smaller size, even tho its stretch lace. But I'm thrilled to finally have a bra that stays in place - FB is the only one now. I adjust it less than any other bra I own. Which is why i've splurged to up my collection to three of them.

Anyways, very firm band, very firm lower cup - 2 fabrics but they are not actually attached, like i can pull them away from each other between the seams. The gray lace also has a white lining, but its stretchy. The straps again have the locking clips so the adjuster does not slide. The straps, as usual, have very little spare for me. I am only 5'2, but my breasts are very low set - my imf is at the bottom of my ribcage.

I suppose some ppl would think it boring, but you know, sometimes its nice to have something that can be worn under light colors without showing!

    • Not boring at all. Gorgeous!

    • Lovely bra! Looks great on you! I like the softer colors.

    • Oh, that is lovely! I don't think it's boring at all! I really like the gray color, and it looks awesome on you! I'm so glad they fixed it for you and got you what you wanted!

    • So glad you got it!!

    • Aww, thanks ladies!

It’s lovely and looks great on you!
I wish it was made in BM so I could order it...

This looks fantastic! I adore this pattern and color--lucky you :-)

    • 2

Beautiful! Gorgeous fabric. Also your hair looks really pretty in these pics 😊

    • 1

wow veggiechic , eagle eyes! Did you see the green? this is the first time I've ever colored my hair

    • 1

Super cute hair color, and the curls are beautiful too.

    • 2

Added a clothed pic - its a nice blend w the shirt I'm wearing today! Subtle in the best way lol. You can see the slightly odd peak of the bra well in this shirt - its a rayon knit, so very clingy. Quite a matronly look - but it doesnt bother me. I mean, my daughter turns 26 next month, I'm definitely old enough to be a gramma. Might never happen, but I'm old enough!

PURPLE!!! Its so lovely! My camera did not do it justice, lovely lace, and the solid fabric is embossed with a floral pattern.

These cups seem slightly smaller than the beige one, and the band fits better.

FB is currently my most comfortable bra, best fit.

      Yaay for a good fit

    • Congrats on a good fit! This bra is so pretty!

I wore it today - i always enter in bratabase first, then wash - it did shrink a little in the wash so it needed an extender, but i'm sure it'll stretch. i just love the color so much!

I like this bra more than I expected! You can see from the pics it is a little bit big on me, but the FB is so much more comfortable - and stays in place so much better - that I dont mind.

The top half is stretchy material - hubby said "its a strange pattern" - but that was the fluorescent bathroom light playing on the sheen.

One thing that surprised me - the straps are permanent. I have one other strappy bra from Ewa, and those straps are removable. It looks like I should've tightened one of them - woops! But they are adjustable, just not removable.

The strap adjusters also are not sliders (which my other FB is). They are locking clips. Pretty good idea, there!

All in all, happy with this bra. Just hope I dont lose 10 lb and shrink out of it . . . what a strange state of affairs!

It looks great on you! Honestly, it also looks like a wonderful fit.

    • 1

Wow that looks great on you. It’s amazing how tall it is! Showing that in larger sizes Ewa is definitely good for tall roots!

    • 2

Curious do you mean how tall it looks on me (like full coverage lol as opposed to most of my bras) or the measurement? Measurement is curved, tho, right? I hope so lol

Anyways I still think its a tad small - the stretchy top is flat, whereas most bras I'm bulging up past the apex a bit. And it turns out that WAS PMS lol. so thats max boobage.

I bought this bra NWOT from another user. The bra was much, much too small for her, and I admit as much as I've been curious to see how FB would fit me, and outgrowing my bras, I probably would not have actually purchased it if I didnt feel so bad for her, stuck past the return window with a bra that didnt fit at all.

It is SLIGHTLY too big for me. I think I would fit a 75K. The cups come up quite high on me, and there is a little loose lace on my smaller side. I dont mound up so dramatically ... FOT in this bra either, but look more even or even FOB, i think. But it seems like it will be a very secure hold, and even gives me some room to grow - ideal PMS bra, tho I really am SO ready to be done cycling!!

The band is very firm. Its a 75 and I am really fine with it on the loosest hook, despite me wearing 32 in Panache. I havent had a chance to wear it yet - I need to soak in vinegar first, to start getting rid of the fabric softener scent - i forgot to ask the seller not to wash it. But I'm hoping it will stay in place better than most of my Ewas, which all slide down on me, mostly due ot not enough space at the bottom or inside of the cups.

The straps do seem to dig in pretty badly, adn I"m not sure why. as you can see in the pics, I'm tempted to use the silicone strap pad in teh front! (cant see all pics from the front page of bratabase tho - have to click through to the bra page)

I took pics in 2 batches - one the day after I got it, and one today, when it was FINALLY sunny again.

Anyways, its interesting - the shape seems different than my SF, not as round? the wire angles back a lot on the sides. But I'm hoping it will be a workhorse for me!

Note - the first day I wore the bra - it was amazing!! No bra has stayed in my IMF this well since I was 2 cup sizes smaller! It was firm and stayed in place and I felt great! I did loosen the straps more, and they didnt bother me at all!

    • It looks like a good fit, but a little wide on the sides.

BTW, does that silicone strap pad help at all and doesn't it feel sweaty?

    • This pic is the only time I've used the silicone thing, so I wouldnt really know. it helped a little with the cutting in, but i wore it for like 1 minute right after the shower

    • That's a really nice colour.

    • Yes, I have an 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Granatowa Pantera but I outgrew it.

    • 2

It looks great on you! I like your helper kitty 🐱. My own Special Boy is orange tabby too, but short hair.

      Gorgeous...
both you, the bra, and your fur baby :-) :-) :-)

    • 1

Aww, thanks ladies - he is fluffy. I actually named him Fluffernutter lol.

    • I hated the FB for the folding/rolling straps. Without the silicone holders it was excruciating to wear for more than a few minutes.

    • Hmm. We'll have to see. i've never had that problem before.

    • 1

I hope that the straps get more comfortable for you, maybe with adjustment of the silicone strap holder. I think this bra is a beautiful color/print and your shape looks divine! I see what you mean about it might be better in the 75K, but as it is, I think it looks great -but it must feel comfortable to you, no matter how great it may look. As an animal lover, I adore that you included your little Fluffernutter helper! Too cute! Maybe I'll ask my Peanut (tuxedo kitty) to help me get over my fear of taking pics. Also, that was so kind of you to take a chance and buy from another user who would otherwise have been stuck with a bra that didn't fit. I'm glad it seems the gamble paid off!

    Didn't fit

The FB Bezowy is a fuller coverage balcony bra with a 4-piece cup, plus an extra small fabric triangle joining to the strap. The straps are fully adjustable and the bra fastens with 4 columns of 3 rows of hooks.

The FB cut has been especially designed for larger busts and this is reflected in some of the features of the bra. The bra is described as 'semi-soft' on the Ewa Michalak website, and the lower 3 sections of the cup (plus the triangle) seem to be made of the same sort of stretchy silky fabric used in BM cut bras fused with some kind of stabilising mesh. The ... upper cup section is made of a layer of decorative stretch lace with stretch mesh behind it to suit a variety of breast shapes and hold the upper part of the breast in. The lower section of the cup seems to mostly hold its own shape when pushed out. The straps are made of the fabric which I know from prior experience will warp and fold in on itself if left to its own devices, but the bra came with a set of silicone strap pads (these seem to just be standard commercially available pads but were included as part of the price). Hopefully these should prevent the painful folding of the straps during wear. The bottom of the bra where there'd usually be visible elastic sewn onto the cradle and wings instead appears to have a thicker and sturdier kind of elastic encased between two layers of fabric, probably to help prevent heavy breasts and round tummies from causing the elastic to roll under and dig in. The wires seem to be somewhat sturdier and taller than other bras from Ewa Michalak which I've tried, but are certainly not as firm and tall as those found in a Panache bra. All in all, I can see why this bra has a higher price point than other EM cuts with the high quality design features and specialised materials.

The appearance of the bra reminds me very much of the 75K - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Bianka (532) which I own, only it's a peachy beige colour instead of white. It's a pretty design, but in my opinion not as beautiful as some of EM's other designs. The colour seems to be quite a good match to my skin tone (fair with warm undertones). It blends in just fine under a t-shirt (which is why I picked this colour).

Regarding the fit, I wasn't really sure what to expect as this is a brand new cut and there's very little information about it so far, but I can give my initial impressions. I chose this size because it was the smallest size available via the drop-down, and I didn't wish to purchase a bra I couldn't return if it was a very poor size. It's not terrible, but there's still some fit quirks.

To me, it seems as though the sizing on this bra fits in reasonably well with the BM cut (but as the overlap in sizing between the styles is very small, I cannot imagine this will be hugely helpful to most people). The band is quite firm, completely unlike the usual bands on EM bras, but as my ideal band size in EM seems to currently be a 65, the band does seem to not sit as firmly against my body as I'd like (I've indicated that the back rides up, but with me, it tends to be the front of the bra riding down).

My breasts are fairly narrow, roughly even in fullness, very full (which is problematic in the centre mostly) and extremely short rooted. The bra wrinkles quite a lot at the base of the cup, but the gore doesn't tack and I find that I have a slight bulge where the stretch lace joins the rest of the cup. The gore is a bit higher than I'd ideally like, but thankfully not so high as to be likely to protrude from a medium-height neckline. Despite the not tacking gore, I still cannot fill the upper corners of the cups. Based on the cup depth and height, I suspect that this bra is designed for a far more vertical distribution of breast tissue than my root height will allow, meaning that the base of the cup is too shallow for my breasts to get in, and my apex needs more depth than the centre of the cup allows.

The straps on the bra are too far apart, but this is sadly so normal for me that I've basically ceased to care. Slightly more irritating is the fact that the armpit of the bra comes up much too high for my small frame and high-set breasts, meaning that it rubs under my arm.The wires are a bit wider than I'd like, but don't appear to be painful.

I think that this bra cut probably would work better on someone with a larger frame size than myself and on someone who has a more average root height.

Edit: After some wear, I can say that this bra is definitely far more comfortable and supportive than other bras I have tried in this size range. I reduced the height of the cup, and I experimented with moving in the gore, but found that the extra space in the centre opened up the top of the cup too much so while I no longer bulged there, it compromised support and ended up reversing that alteration. The straps are weak and dig in by themselves, unless I loosen them off all the way, but with the included strap pads (which are great and I wear them with all my bras if my wardrobe allows), are quite comfortable and supportive at an appropriate length. The band design is amazingly comfortable, and unlike my other bras won't dig in during everyday activities (unless I really slouch). The cups are strong enough to hold everything up and don't distort even after a long day's wear. I think that this cut is well worth the higher price point and could be a good option for people in this size range with narrow-medium breast roots (it would be even better if you were a bit taller and broader than myself).

Thanks for such a thorough review! I think the comparison to BM is useful for ppl who have outgrown the BMs but wore them previously. It looks a lot like my BM Perla. It does look like its maybe a cup size too big for you, though. And yes, much too tall

    • Yes this is a fantastically detailed review, thank you! I wonder if altering the gore to narrow its base and thus rotate the cups slightly would help at all? It might open up a little more volume near the gore and enable it to tack and contain that last bit of center fullness, perhaps?

    • EM specifically says not tacking is acceptable in this cut, I think? and from the pics, I'd say the armpit attack is a bigger problem

    • 1

wendybien taking in the gore and reducing the height of the bra at the armpit are on my to-do list. I generally find that taking in the gore area makes bras more comfortable to wear (though I suspect I may face a small challenge trying to stitch through 2 layers of elastic and 4 of fashion fabric). I appreciate the challenge in trying to allow the sort of centre depth needed for a very large cup size, but I still keep hoping someone will get it right!

dbmamaz It does look quite a lot like your BM Perla! I'll probably never get a textbook fit in a bra because of the proportions of my breasts. They're super full and projected, but their root height is a bit shorter than their width, which over the full projection of my breasts leads to a ~6-8cm disparity between my horizontal and vertical breast perimeters when wearing a bra (I could actually fill a bra better which is even deeper and shorter than this, but they're not made), whereas bra manufacturers assume these two figures are roughly identical. If I get a bra which I can fill to the top, I'm having to shove myself back into the bra from the top or the bottom all the time, which can be frustrating (I've finally got some pics of me in 30KK - Bravissimo » Alana (AU01) so you can see what I mean), or I have to choose sizes which look large on me out of the box, but will contain everything and I tend to remove a bit of the excess fabric at the top of the bra. It's bad enough finding anything in the right cup volume for me, so I take the opportunities I can. To decide if the FB is really a tall cut or not, we'll need to wait for some other reviews!

    • pics arent up yet on the alana, but hopefully soon. as much as I envy women who can fit a 32F or something (and scoff at them calling themselves busty) I am grateful that I HAVE found a few bras that basically fit. I need to do a thorough review of the S Eden I just got - in a day or two I'll have time - but its slightly small I think.

    • 1

Scoff all you want, another mom at the pool called me "as voluptuous as that" just this afternoon hahaha! And I can usually fit a 32F these days.
I definitely don't FEEL very busty since I'm down like 4 cup sizes from before. But it's all relative. Plus I am all projection so I suppose I may look bigger than I am.
The 12 inch and above size range seriously needs some design innovation as does the tiny band and large cup range. Underwires have been around how long now? There has to be more that can be done!

    • Haha women who look voluptous to me usually have lovely, curvy hips and enough bust to balance that out. I have minimal hips and no ass.

But the "problems of busty dressing" posts leave me sad because they are mostly aimed around F cups. I hate reminders that I'm such a total freak . . er, uh . outlier. Like in school I hated getting the best scores on tests all the time. I just wanted to be like everyone else. Ok, not going to happen, but still.

    • You mean on here? The busty dressing bloggers I think of first are Curvy Wordy or Holly from The Lingerie Addict. Definitely not F or even close.

    • Uh, Hourglassy. And other random google ones. Hourglassy has one JJ blogger but the last i remember seeing from her was her pointing out how much the jacket that main woman was raving about did NOT flatter her at all. I think you told me the main blogger there had lost a lot of weight and so used to be bigger?

I dont like Lingerie Addict's clothes much either tho. She seems to mostly wear 1 or 2 small companies that make like 3 things? and she never links to them? idk. Tight dresses are not my friend at all. I"m not hourglassy. I'm rectangle with bulges in the bust and the middle.

    • The JJ blogger on Hourglassy had a bunch of reviews at one point andthen they kind of tapered off, it was too bad.

    • But yeah, the hourglass shape domination of this segment is almost total, if not actually total. Much more so than the F or under demographic.

    • The body acceptance movement seems pretty hourglass dominated too - its a lot harder to love an apple

    • Just thought of this, and she's not an apple exactly, but Cakes on a Plate is the only one who is def. not an hourglass, as she has very straight hips for her frame.

Oddly enough the fashion-for-everyone, What Not to Wear type blogs have lots more material on a range of body shapes.

There is also a lot of crossover between the body acceptance movement's preferred fashion aesthetic, and retro/vintage/rockabilly/pinup fashion. The latter trend being mainly inspired by fashions of the late 1940s to the early 60s, which was all hourglass all the time, you get a lot of those fashions.

    • 1

When I did those calculators I came out as rectangle, but the belly is so huge I feel like an apple thats just lucky to be camouflaged by big boobs. Even shirts that fit fairly well fall down from my breasts - not the end of my breasts, but about halfway in from the bottom. So the result is my boobs look smaller than they are and my ribcage looks much bigger than it is and the enormity of my belly is camouflaged.

and sorry we are totally off topic on this review . . .

I've been hoping for ages that you'd do a review of this bra. You look great in EM as always! I thought it was interesting that you found the reinforced band (there's elastic similar to what you'd find in pants encased between the inner and outer fabric layer) to give you more discomfort than the regular band, because I've found the reverse; that my FB band digs in less than that of my other bras. It's fascinating that we're all different.

Expanding my FB collection, as this cut is the most comfortable for me these days, despite the cups being slightly too large.

This band is not too large tho - a 75 that doesnt even stretch to 32! This one will definitely be worn with an extender for a while. The last one that needed an extender stretched out past that need in maybe 2 months, so not too bad.

Excited to have a basic beige bra again - occasionally they seem to come in handy. Very reminiscent of my BM perla which i was so sad to outgrow.

While I was expecting this to fit just like my other FBs, it seemed . . .different. Tighter? Esp in the armpits? It also buckled a bit under the boobs and maybe wrinkled a bit?

Ok, turns out this 75 band stretches to 31.5? omg tight! I didnt try it on with an extender and I guess I really should! Hopefully that will help with those issues.

As always, cups are slightly big and straps are barely long enough - which makes no sense since I"m only 5'2 and i cant figure out how a tall woman could possibly wear this bra.

    Lovely colors!

This was the first time I have tried the FB line. I have also tried the Pl (doesn't work), S (not a fan), SM (works when has enough depth), and BM (good idea, but FB is a huge improvement on this idea) lines from Ewa Michalak.

You can also read the bra adventure I posted here along with other's comments: http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/12310/

Overall: Best damn bra I've ever tried. Has all the improvements I've ever whined about for years.

Band: The band is very firm. It prevents sliding due to the lack of stretchy materials in it. However, this means you probably need to go down a back size. If ... you're in between sizes, I recommend sticking with the larger one. I sometimes wear 70s and this 75 is about as tight as I can comfortably go.

Straps: The straps are nice and wide and comfortable. They also have very little stretch. They ARE very short though. This is most likely because EM has probably found that most if not all women in this size range have high set breasts. I'm not saying they do - but the fact that she would put such incredibly short, firm straps indicates to me that she has. She also includes little comfort pads to slide on made of silicon that you may already own. I think the bra can be worn without, but it does increase comfort from the pressure (although, the pressure isn't bad compared to what you're used to at this size range).

Wires: Short underwires! Halleujah. You won't get poked. These are graded for high-set breasts. They do not dig in and best of all - THEY HARDLY SLIDE DOWN IF AT ALL! Narrow as they usually are. A+

Gore: The gore tacks when I stand up/sit up straight perfectly fine. No stabbing, no boobs spilling out either. Perfect for me.

Cups: The cups are where the bra really shines. They're made of out some heavy duty, sports bra-like material. They are firm and have little to no stretch in the base of them. For the Tanya, the tops are made out of a thinner mesh-like material that keeps your boobs where you put them. And they're a true balconette~! This means they have fuller coverage so you won't spill out, almost what I consider a full coverage bra, but it does leave some of the tops of your boobs exposed so you don't feel like a grandma. Lots of depth in the inner boob where us at this size range need it as EM is usually known for.

Aesthetic Design: This bra has these little strappy things. I couldn't care less about them when I ordered it - I wanted a strong, durable, everyday black bra and I got it. But the strappy things don't fit me across the way they do the models. If EM had put them higher up on the straps they would, but it doesn't seem like she graded this one part down based on the size of the person. Whatever. I plan to cut them and resew them or cut them off completely. I love the rest of the bra.

Extra Thoughts/Concerns: The band is really firm. Like imagine a corset? How it forces you to sit up straight? It's like that. it doesn't feel like it's digging in, but you're always aware of the pressure (at least I am but I've only worn it for about 5 hours so far). Same for the straps. This feels like you're wearing a heavy duty bra because there's no relief from it stretching over time (but if it did, it'd slide down, dig in and your boobs would look not good). Which...if you have boobs this size, you need it if you want them to be perky. Sorry, but it's true. Anyone with any condition boobs will probably love this bra - my breasts are very soft, but they sure don't look it in the Tanya. Overall it's very comfortable in a super supportive way. Like I feel confident and put together in this bra.

I am on a long-term diet, so I expect to fall out of FB range in a few months. HOWEVER I think I could continue wearing this bra for quite some time because it's a fuller cup - so gapping wouldn't be noticable for quite a while I predict and right now I'm perfectly sized in the cups. I would hate to try any other bra. Actually, I refuse to buy any other bra. I've tried them all and they all don't come in my size or suck.

The only one I might consider is EM's SM for looks and the stability isn't too bad and the SF. The SF as it's been described by EM has the same stable mesh and fuller coverage and covers everything up to FB. It MIGHT have some more stretch or thinner underwires or longer straps or something in the materials that make it cost less than the FB, but the design sounds the same overall. I look forward to getting at least one more FB to last me while I lose weight and then I'll try the SF!

    • I will say my one gripe is how short the straps are - I hate that I can't loosen it anymore even when I'm feeling lazy at home and want the slightest break! I can't imagine what a woman would lower set breasts would do. I hope she lets us loosen it a bit more in other models of this line.

    • you should be able to shorten the decorative straps by moving the rhinestone things i think?? looks fantastic on you!

    • 1

You were right, thank you!!! Had no idea those did anything.

    • I see on your softer tissue the bra is more vertically minimising as intended. It's still very much the best bra I own, but I could just do with a bit more depth and a bit less bra so the bottom and top of the cup both have a bit of space in them. (Also I realised I never put up pictures of me in my 70L; it's much the same as the 75KK only the band is tighter but they should be included for bra science).

Did tightening the decorative straps help any? I'd love to hear how well they worked when adjusted, though I still suspect this particular fashion trend may be totally out of my reach.

    • They work just fine now. The decorative strap is 100% adjustable all the way through so they'd work on anyone I think.

I wouldn't mind just a tad more inner depth but that's more for comfort on my part. I still get nervous I'm going to spill out but it's impossible. I stopped nursing so my boobs are softer than they used to be even.

    • By all the way through I meant that you could make it as tight as strap to gore if you wanted to though I haven't tried.

Wow, I never would've thought to use a white suspender belt and red panties to coordinate with that bra. They all work really well together!

Another great review, as always, CurvyWordy!

Really badly spaced straps. Debt of cups is too large for me and that's too bad as the wires are fully and comfortably encompassing my breasts. Those straps are ruining it all in my case. Could've otherwise been an awesome bra.. This brand doesn't work for me. Would be perfect if straps were set closer to centre. But they are not https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I think this brand is a really good brand, the quality of their bras is amazing, but not for my north-eastern and north-western boobs. Gone into storage roomhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

oh that's too baaaddd!! I know the EM straps have been controversial...do you think you could alter it? Or not worth it?

Or get someone else to alter it, like a seamstress/taylor?

    • 2

Seconding BraOdyssey, rather than losing this bra to storage I think this is definitely worth an alteration!

Moving in the straps and possibly removing some of the 'wing' where the fabric closes in on your armpit area.

Should be very doable for a seamstress and totally improve your fit!

Or, if you'd prefer, Ewa Michalak bras sell pretty well online. You can list them on here, Reddit braswap or some platform like Poshmark or eBay... Then at least you'll get some of your money back!

    • 2

+1 for alterations. It looks really good on you. I wouldn’t let straps stop you from loving it. We’ve all been there with the armpit eater straps.

    • 2

Thanks for suggesting alteration .. I had been considering to give it a revamp but it has stayed like this till now.I don't think any tailor in my town would undertake such a thing. The area that the strap is going to be sewn onto needs to be reinforced with some stabilizing fabric/ elastic , otherwise it would get torn soon as boobs weight is huge. I need to get my sewing machine fixed, I want to take the risk.

    • 1

Yes definitely reinforce the material, by sewing along the 'armpit area' to where you want the new strap placement to be using something like this https://www.amazon.com/Wright-Products-117-206-031-Wrights-Double/dp/B001B2QZ50/ref=asc_df_B001B2QZ50/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=194007750414&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4926523014391504323&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028771&hvtargid=pla-312002899169&psc=1

Even by hand stitching this should be doable!

Let us know how it goes!

I did not order this bra, I ordered a custom Szaron in FB. But I was sent this standard Myszerej instead. Figured I should measure before returning it. I just dont like hot pink at all and really wanted the stretch lace top, not the solid fabric top.

    Any advice on shipping?

    • Ah, yeah, the S looks sort of problematic, like it gives you kind of a square shape? Too bad since it's absolutely gorgeous.

That tight band worries me! I just ordered 2 32s - I wear 32 in most bras, and their website said 32, but I'm worried my 'tight' measurement was TOO tight

    • 1

It will depend on the bra I think. I have a 32 ewa that is stretchy and have owned others that tried to suffocate me.

Disappointed in this bra- I usually find plunge styles work better with my shape, but this one just pushed my breast tissue down and to the sides, making me look broader and saggy. The band was -okay-, though I'd wear it with an extender for a week or two, and I didn't experience the common complaint that the Ewa bands are way too small and firm. I like my bands firm!

Such a beautiful bra! I haven't worn foam lined cups in ages so it definitely takes some getting used to again!

The band is firm, but I've read EM bras usually have firm bands so that's to be expected I guess. It gives a really nice, round shape. I've tried many tops over it and the decorative lace trim on the top of the cups didn't show through any of them, so that's a plus! The straps are fully adjustable and it has narrow wires that actually encircle my breast roots.

Some of the cons I came across when first wearing it for an entire day (without an extender) were:
The ... band would start out firm but fine. But as the day progressed it would get almost painfully tight at the bottom, digging in at the sides in particular.
Like all my other bras, the bottom of the gore/band digs into my stomach, more-so if I've had a large meal. I'm pretty much used to this though since I have a stomach shelf.
The pattern and/or seams on the bra may show through on tighter, very thin material tops. The spaghetti strap top I wear in my pictures shows this. I also wore a regular plain shirt over this bra and didn't really see seams, so it looks like it doesn't show under normal and thicker materials. I actually don't mind bra seams showing at all, but I know some women might not like it.
I quadboob just ever so slightly on my larger breast, but it isn't visible under clothing.

Even though some of those cons look like deal-breakers, I decided to give this bra another try with an extender and it pretty much cleared up all the cons I was having save for the gore/band digging into my stomach. But all my bras do this to me so it isn't so much a problem with the bra as it is with my anatomy.

Overall, I really like this bra and hopefully, with time, I can get the band to stretch some more so I won't have to use an extender!

Pretty shade of purple with grey cross hatch pattern. This is from my first Ewa order so I was guessing on my size. Its about a cup size too small for me and the straps cut in to my shoulders and back. This may be because the material seems very stretchy and I can pull it further than 35 inches if I want to distort the wires. The straps are doing the bulk of the work and the underwire slides down over time on me. The shape is nice and the gore is low, which is great for my close set boobs, its just not the right size for me.

The bra comes with 2 sets of detachable straps. One set is half-adjustable and padded, and the other set is pretty standard and fully-adjustable. My measurements are for the standard straps; the detachable straps at their widest point are [XX]cm wide.

I didn't know I could like a padded bra this much, or that I could get one this deep!! It's awesome! The cups are too big for me on my smaller side, but the included pads for asymmetry fix that. The cup is also a little tall for me, but under a shirt it's not noticeable. I may do a permanent alteration to reduce their height, but I ... don't really wear many low-cut things anyway.

I bought this bra to make a bunch of alterations anyway, though. I plan to add loops for the straps closer to the middle of the cups, because these strap settings are too wide-set for my body, of course. In the standard setting, the strap's hardware in the front is destroying my upper arm. I think they'll do better with the option to be more center-pull-ish. Once I switched the padded detachable straps to cross-back they were not painful anymore, but I will still make that planned alternation. I will shorten the band, too. As I was waiting for it to come in the mail, I realized that I'm more of a 65-band again.
