    Didn't fit

The saga of me posting bra reviews instead of writing my final papers continues...

This was my first BM bra, and I'm sad to say I really don't like it as much as my other Ewa Michalak bras. I'm not close-set, but I have a pretty bony ribcage, so high gores bother me pretty badly and this bra is no exception. I've never worn it for a whole day because the gore digs in so much. I have short roots, so the full-coverage style gives me some gapping (wrinkling, in this case) at the top and digs into my armpits a little. The cup fits well on my bigger ... side but is a little big on my smaller side. Despite the issues and discomfort, this bra is sooooo pretty! I adore the floral patterned ribbon detailing and it's just such a cute aesthetic. The fabric is also really soft and silky. I have the matching thong in a 36 (I have a 23.5" waist and 35.5" hips) and, as usual, it's a little saggy in the butt area/the thong part is just a little too "long" if that makes sense, but the mesh in the front makes it super sexy! I'll upload pictures of it when I get a chance.

I think if you like the BM cut, this is a great bra. I'm pretty disappointed that it doesn't suit me, since basically the only bras Ewa makes anymore are the unpadded ones. I have SMN longings, so I'm hoping that that cut's slightly shorter gore will work better.

Hmm, BM must vary slightly (not a universal pattern?). I just compared it to my BM Chilli (you can see pictures here https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dngbo/), and the gore on your bra 60G BM Pin-Up Doll is actually slightly taller taller than my 70F BM Chilli - one of the things I love about it is the gore, it doesn't bother me at all. Also, it's like a custom-fit bra for me. This was only my first one, but I'm a huge fan of what I bought!

    • sorry, I wrote the word "taller" twice.

    • too bad abt the bra, I wouldn't give up on it - I would get out my scissors and alter it, lol!

    • 2

BraOdyssey huh, that’s interesting. I just whipped the bra out and grabbed my measuring tape to double check and I guess I’d put the gore at like 2.45”. The 60G BM bras people have logged on here seem to tend to have 2.4” high gores.

    • 2

This bra is so gorgeous! I agree with BraOdyssey : if you feel comfortable modifying it, give it a go!

    • 2

Becauseihaveto42 I would like to, but the most modifying I’ve done on a bra is taking in the band of a few bralettes and one real bra. I don’t have a sewing machine and I feel like I’d definitely mess it up!

    • 1

Stop making me drool over discontinued bras! Lol. This bra looks gorgeous on you, thanks for reviewing!

    • 1

You can email and ask if they can make you one of their unpadded ones in a padded style. I've done that and it's possible! This is a gorgeous bra!

Thank you sherrach898 for the super pretty bra!! I’m planning on swapping this for a 60FF even though it fits (what can I say, I want a little “wow” factor) so I’ll just write a quick review. I love this gorgeous turquoise color and the contrast with the black. It’s nice and narrow and projected like my other Ewa Michalak bras, the gore is low enough not to bother me, and the fabric is soft. The matching thong is really cute too!

    Fits

I ordered this bra from Sam at Broad Lingerie in Toronto over Black Friday. It finally arrived yesterday! She made ordering a custom sized EM bra effortless. I highly recommend her.

I was a bit worried about whether or not this bra about fit because the 60G opium I tried previously was about half a size too small. However - this bra is clearly magical -it fits perfectly. The cup depth and height measurements for this bra are slightly larger than the Opium. I have no idea which one is the outlier and which one is the standard. Regardless I am so relieved that this one fits. ...

This bra fits similarly to the other CHPs I have tried. The band is pleaseantly firm on the first hook. The band is knitwear, not the double layer with lace, so it will likely stretch. I am happy that I went with the 60 instead of the 65 in this model.

The cups are narrow and deep. However the wires feel similar in width to my 65Gs - slightly wider than the 60G Opium. This is not a problem for me, but may be if you need very very narrow wires.

The detachable straps add a little wow factor to the bra. They are very comfortable and totally adjustable. They do not cut into my tissue or gap. I doubt I would wear these anytime other than date night, but it's nice to have the option to transform a daytime bra into a nighttime bra.

The gore is low and very comfortable. It is the perfect width for my average set breasts. But may be a bit wide for those who are very close set.

The straps as always are too wide set. I will alter these by moving them inward 1cm. This alteration greatly improves the comfort of this bra.

In summary, this bra looks like every other black lace and nude knitwear EM bra (yawn). Despite the lack of creativity this bra is totally worth it given its impeccable fit.

    • Looks great! I think this one looks better than the plunge.

    • 2

Sovavosi I agree! I dont love the PL version. I do wish it came in another colour though. I would love a navy one instead.

    • 1

Navy would be lovely. You might be able to get a fabric switch out for more money. Her CHP and PL selection currently are making me sad.

    • 1

Agreed. Like we need more black bra. I need colour!!!

    • 1

I might have to ask Madga if I can order this with navy lace instead. That would be stunning

    • 3

"Any colour you want, so long as it is black."

    • 2

      Lol.

    • 1

      Looks gorgeous!

    • 1

It looks like a perfect fit, hooray! ! :-)

    • 2

      Thanks Sonya and MamaPagan.

Now I just have to figure out whether or not this is a 'standard' fitting 60G. There is so much variation in the measurements, it is hard to know whether the Opium or this bra is the outlier.

    • 1

Ewa's signature consistently inconsistent strikes again! I hope you can easily figure it out. For me, it seems to be a range variant, and I am still trying to figure out what "normal" is. 😖😬😖

    • 2

MamaPagan 'normal' is overrated in every arena except pricey (custom) bras

    • 1

      Haha! Oh so true rachaelll.

    • 3

This is absolutely gorgeous on you! I could be wrong, but I think the CHP Cappuccino in general runs slightly larger than other styles in the same cut. I had the same experience with the older version when I bought it second hand, and I ended up doing some alterations to make it fit. Feel free to check it out on my profile :)

    • I do love the beige and black of this. But I would also love to see many other colours. Navy, green, burgundy/crimson, purple, teal....

    • 1

And I think that it looks great on you!

    • 1

Yes Calluna! Teal or powder blue lace over a Navy base. I would love a Purple lace over a Green base but Kaśka told me no saying it wouldn't look good....😖.... Honestly it would even be nice to see a pastel pink over a burgundy just to spice things up a bit.

    • 1

This looks really good on you. I actually ordered the CHP cappuccino at one point because I liked the looks of it, but yeah... fresh colours would look nice. I did notice that it ran larger too. I ordered it in 65FF, and I also ordered the CHP red wine in 65FF. The red wine fit me, but the Cappuccino was too big. I'm sure she used the same design for this bra, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one ran larger too.

    • 4

Wilderness1 I love the red wine! I wish she still made some of the vibrant coloured CHPs

I got this bra along with 60G - Ewa Michalak » Chp Antonina from Bella Rosa Lingerie on Instagram, based in the UK. I had previously tried a 65FF in April but it was too big in the band, so I sent it back for an exchange. I lost track of my UK size because I almost exclusively wear Polish now, but I guess I'm a 28FF. My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, soft and self-supporting tissue, and super close-set.

I think it's a perfect fit for me. The band is snug (I would say it's true to size). The cups are narrow and projected, and the stretch lace at the top section accommodates my top fullness and tall roots so well. The gore is pretty low and partly overlapped. The bra actually looks pinker worn than placed on my darker pink bed sheets.

I have 0 complaints about this bra. Great fit, comfort and appearance!

This bra was an impulse purchase. I bought a 60FF in an older CHP cut from Sonya to try out and found it a little too small. I wasn't sure if a 60G would be too big, but it seems like it is a perfect fit. I ordered this bra from Jamie at Bra - Obsessed and it arrived in 2 days. I highly recommend ordering from her if you are in Canada.

This bra is complete perfection. It fits like a glove. The colourway is so not my usual style - I tend to avoid bright colours and patterns - but I love it. The colours ... are so vibrant in person, it is like spring in a bra. The CHP cut is favourite EM cut, I have no problems with the cup depth and fill the bottom perfectly. The wire width is exactly perfect. With the cookies in, the cleavage this bra gives is borderline scandalous and husband approved. Aside from the incredibly wide straps, this bra fits gloriously. This is a mark in the win column.

My first Ewa S bra. I waited literally months for this thing! Surprisingly a better fit than I thought it would be. The band is TTS. It possibly has more room at the wire than other S bras? It is too tall in the cups for my smaller side, but I don't think I could size down. Such is life with short roots. Full write up on the blog.

This looks gorgeous on you! Colette is one of my favorite bras, no question! :)

    • Thank you!

    • 1

Actually I think you could probably size down!

    • Really? I've lost volume lately even since ordering this. I'm definitely not a 28G anymore, been wearing 28FF & 30E/F depending on the bra/shape/tightness of the band. But I'm afraid lefty would be quadding in a 60FF. I had a feeling it would be too tall, but guess I haven't really inspected how much empty space is actually there on my left side.

    • 1

don't get me wrong, the bra is beautiful and a good enough fit and you should def keep it, but yeah, there's no chance of quad on your bigger side that I can tell.

plus, though the straps will always be a little wide on a balconette, being in the right cup size will move them in more - ewa makes them wide but not THAT wide. it will also bring that cup height right down. a lot of y'all bra bloggers -- and I want to tread carefully because i really do appreciate the service that you provide for the community! -- wear your cups bigger and/or your bands tighter than I would ever fit anyone in. Everyone has the right to wear their bra how they want, but just as wearing it Victoria's secret style with little cups and big band affects the fit, so does the opposite. oh no...I got preachy again...someone stop me... anyway, not that I think you're doing that here, but yeah I think you could go down :)

    • 3

Hmm. I don't see extra space in my bigger side but I guess I've never tried this bra in a 60FF to find out if it would quad! Usually if it fits righty fine I am bubbling over a bit on lefty. In unlined bras I am definitely a 28FF/30F these days, but I still need a 60HH in Comexim half cups & would need 60HH reduced cups if I ordered any more plunges, which I don't plan on as they're too shallow at the wire.

I agree there are some bloggers out there in the wrong size. As far as my bands go, I actually got a nasty little comment not too long ago on one of my reviews saying everything is too tight on me. I have rib flares, so most of my bras may visually look to be cutting into my sides but what sticks out under my band is bone. My largest flare is 1.5" bigger than my UB, which is currently 27"/25.5." Regardless of flares, I think unless you have 0% body fat, a properly snug band will create a slight indent & the majority of the public is in bands so large they don't realize that fact. Most 30 bands ride up my back so I promise you I'm in the correct band size.

  7. Chp Emerald

This was a custom order based on BM Emerald. I saw that beautiful green fabric and knew I had to have it! I ordered it in 60G because my 60GG CHPs are a hint big in the cup, and it fits great.

It’s so projected that the wire sits a TINY bit on my breast tissue on my right side (my bigger side/slightly less projected) and right in my IMF on my left side. The wires are nice and narrow and the band is comfortably firm. I have about a 26.5” loose underbust, 25.5” snug, and the band on this bra stretches to about 27”.

My primary gripe with ... this bra is the straps. They’re wide set, even more so than my other EM CHPs in various sizes, and they’re SO stretchy. The more I tighten them to compensate for the stretchiness, the more my armpits cry out for respite. This compromises the support that the bra gives me (I’m bouncier in it than most of my other bras) and makes it sit lower on my body, which I don’t like since I’m already low-set and would prefer my bras to improve that.

I’m not sure what makes these straps different from the usual ones or why they’re like that, but it definitely deters me from wearing this more than my other custom CHPs, which fit great with the cookies and offer better support.

I have been eyeing this bra for quite a while now and it finally arrived! Yay! I bought the PL, BM, and matching thong for a set. I am unfortunately a size 60G in all of her models which meant I had to pay and wait extra for Ewa to manufacture it. But the wait was worth it, and, it fits perfectly. No quad boob or gaps, the wires are the perfect width, and the plunge works great for my close set breasts and is very comfortable. This bra fits just like her other PLs, with lots of projection and lift due to their 3- part seamed cups ... and very strong underwires.

The Roz i juz is a beautiful and vibrant pink without overdoing the brightness to be like a highlighter shade. This pink lace is over a plain beige foundation with the foam, and the insides of the bra have cotton cookie pockets that my sensitive skin adores. There is one bow on the gore made of a darker pink ribbon, and two on the sides of the thong. The lace is shiny in some parts and matte in others which adds great dimension to the colour way. The lace is SUPER soft. Like, I can feel the quality even if I didn’t know the price tag. The panties are mainly made of this soft lace too and it doesn’t dig in or cause irritation unlike lace from other lingerie brands. I appreciate the range of styles Ewa has to offer- girly and pink, plain and solid-coloured, and sexier ones for all body types. Because big boobs ≠ boring beige bras.

The only complaint I have is that the straps are very wide-set and a little too elastic. I don't feel very lifted.

But overall it's a great bra and I can really see why the CHP cut is so popular. It is rare for a padded bra to be so projected, even more than Comexim 3-part half-cups.

I love this bra! The band is VERY tight, so depending on my mood and how much I ate that day I sometimes wear it with an extender on the tightest hook (extenders always extend too much for me, even as tight as possible). I also wear it with cookies because I get a little gapping on top if I don’t — this could totally be fixed by tightening the straps if the straps weren’t like seven inches away from the rest of the bra. And yes, these are for sure the notorious ultra wide Ewa Michalak straps. The underwires sit very close to my IMF and are ... perfectly narrow for my larger/slightly wider side. This is the closest to plain black bra I have that’s both comfortable and fits, and I really like it! It functions as a fully black bra. I also like the removable extra straps, though one of the clips wasn’t open enough to attach where it was supposed to, and I had to grab a pair of pliers. No biggie, but it seemed odd since all the other hooks on the attachable straps were fine. The bra is comfortable to wear other than the wide-set straps, and I’m really happy with it!

    • Do the little removable straps help keep the main bra straps more centered and out of your armpits at all? I know for some Elomis and Curvy Kates the strappy styles can have that advantage.
What kind of extender are you using--does it have a piece of elastic in the middle or does it just look like the rectangular elements at the ends of a bra band, no elastic? (Does that make sense lol)

    • Fantastic!

    • wendybien so sorry, I suddenly got super busy. I haven't worn the bra with the removable straps very often at all because they're irritating to attach when they're removable, unlike the extra straps on my CH Cherry (though I do appreciate that they are removable). I don't believe they really help, though, since in order for them to do any adjusting of the main straps I would probably have to adjust them tighter than I prefer.
I honestly just ordered the first bra extenders I saw on Amazon. They do have elastic, and it's irritating because every time I use one on any of my bras the band starts fitting like a 32. I may order different ones -- I'd love recommendations if you have any, and I'm not attached to ordering specifically from Amazon!

    Didn't fit

    Very belated review, sorry!

I like this bra. I bought it because I really love purple, but the purple is so dark that it looks almost like a black bra unless you're really looking.
Although the PL cut is supposed to give great cleavage, I really didn't notice that here. It didn't give me "cakes on a plate" like some of my CHP bras or a very pushed up appearance like my M bras. EDIT: I have fairly separated breasts, definitely not close-set, which contributed to why the plunge didn't do much for me.
The low gore meant that it didn't cut into my chest like my BM bra, which ... was nice, but the fabric of this bra isn't very soft ― although it is comfortable enough not to notice I'm wearing it, it's not as comfy as my M Perłowy, which is my favorite bra.
The bows on the straps are something Ewa seems to love, but I tend to find that they just bother my skin and look a little frilly. However, they're small bows, so it's not a big deal to me.
People often say that the PL cut is less narrow/projected than other EM cuts, but I don't think the difference is that significant (at least in this size range). The wires do sit a little below my IMF and are a tiny bit wide, more so on my smaller side, but it doesn't affect the fit IMO.

If I was newer to Ewa Michalak bras, I think this would have been definitely worth the money. But compared to some of my other bras, the PL Misty seems kind of "meh." Like just about all EM bras, it's well-constructed and beautiful, but it just wasn't a standout for me. I think I will stick more with CHP and M cuts in the future (currently looking at the CHP Antonina!).

    • May i ask what IMF stands for?

    • suburbiadaze inframammary fold! It basically means where the bottom of your breast meets your chest, aka where underwires should generally sit.

    • Thank you

    • 1

I am close-set, so I get cleavage up the wazoo in the PL, in my experience, it is more the "butt crack" touching cleavage look than cakes on a plate (which I don't quite get in a CHP, alas).

It looks nice, pity it wasn't quite what you expected.

    • 1

PL gives me insane cleavage. I’m splayed unsupported, but supported I’m pretty close set.

    • Calluna interesting, I wonder if I should try a cup size down.

    • biflexual actually, looking at my pictures, I have to amend my statement. It’s not insane cleavage. But it’s very nice cleavage. Definitely noticeable in a low cut top.

This is seriously one of the most beautiful bras I have ever put on my body. I normally take a 65F in Ewa Michalak's unpadded bras so this 60G was a risk that luckily payed off!

Pros: Beautiful embroidery, perfect pattern matching, soft band, cups fit perfectly, soft tacking gore

Cons: Wideset straps, band runs a little tighter than true to size, straps are wide with no embellishments, only 2 rows of eyes.

    • I can't say for sure whether it's just how the HM model fits me. I know the 65FF gave me a weird shape, but it was different than this. I'm just too stubborn to not keep trying it!

That IS seriously gorgeous! I've experienced this shape, too, in EM unlined.

I wonder if that dart adds more depth? Making it more open on that side and more closed (for lack of a better word) on the outside. I think it's the dart that gives it that shape.

    60G

    Didn't fit

This bra is my FAV Ewa so far!!! I LOVE this bra! And I'm not a big fan of blue, but the soft pink trim and lace overlaying the blue is a PERFECT combo! So pretty! I normally wear a 65FF in the CHP mainly because it's the easier (ahem, lazier...lol) size for me to order than requesting a custom size. But I ordered this bra thru Jaimie at Bra Obsessed and she did all the legwork for me. BTW, I HIGHLY recommend going thru her if you've been interested in ordering Polish/Ewa Michalak (she also has Comexim and Anna Pardal on hand) but have been intimidated by ... the whole ordering process. She is amazing!! And she was SPOT ON with her fit advice and size suggestions for each model I ordered! She suggested I try the 60 band since I'm a true 28, and convinced me to give the 60G a go (good thing about ordering thru her - she does exchanges and returns!!!!).

The 65FF was always a nice fit for me, tho the band was always a bit loose and eventually the back would start to ride up. I also felt like the cups were maybe just a hair too small and if I coughed or sneezed too hard my nipples would pop out!! But the 60G fits like a glove!!!! It's perfect! I'm so happy I decided to take her advice and suggestions!

The cups do feel a bit roomier than I would've expected with the 65FF (I assumed the 60G would be the same) but they add a bit of fullness and give a wonderful lift, and amazing cleavage!! I was easily able to hook the band on the first set of hooks and still get a nice, snug fit. The straps seem to be placed a little better (more inward) on this model than my other EM 60 bands. The gore tacks nicely and isn't bothersome at all.

I really don't have a single complaint or issue with this bra.....yet. I haven't worn it tho, other than to try on. So I'll have to update my review after a full day's wear https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> I also got the matching briefs in an 8 (36) and they look like the perfect size! This set is ADORABLE (and comfy)! And I know I'll be wearing it out!! I'm so happy I found something that works so well and ISN'T Victoria's Secret!!! This bra was worth every penny!!

UPDATE: Finally tried this bra out and wore it all day and night...painfully so, unfortunately https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The gore dug into my sternum something fierce! I still have the nasty indentation mark and it's been hours since I took it off. I never encountered this problem before with my other CHP cuts, so I'm assuming it's due to the 60 band. I would love to swap this out for my usual 65FF!! I feel like the 60G cup is just a hair too big and the band too tight. There isn't any gaping but I feel more secure in the 65FF. I really do NOT wanna sell this bra, it's hands down my fav CHP bra!! But it just isn't working for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I love the aesthetics of the Serena (AKA the mermaid bra). The combination of deep green and navy blue, mesh lace overlay, eyelash lace, ruched straps... so pretty! I'm not so sure about the magenta bows, though. This fits like a typical 60G in the cups. I've gained a bit of weight, so I have slight quadding on my larger side, but still a pretty good fit. And I have every intention of losing 5 lbs LOL. I do find the band to be super stretchy and fit more like a 65 than a 60. Even on the tightest hooks, it is a little too loose, so I will probably take it in a little.

    • Do you find that the S has a higher apex? Does it work with short roots? It looks really good on you... I always liked this bra.

    • Thanks, Wilderness1. I don't find the apex to be too tall. Here are some apex measurements for 3 of my 60G Ewas:
      S Serena: 6"
      Pl Onyx: 6.25"
      Chp Myszka: 5.9"

      And for comparison, some Comexims:
      Gilda Halfcup (60L): 7.2
      Carmen Plunge (60J): 7.3

    • 1

Wilderness1 in my opinion, it’s good for short roots because it closes off pretty quickly. That was my experience with my 70E S Szykus, at least.

    • 1

I agree with Calluna. S bras are made especially for soft tissue and work well with short roots. I find their plunges work great for short roots, too. Actually, all the Ewa bras I've tried work with my short roots, even Chs and Chps. Their bras are magical.

    • Sonya Thanks for measuring those and giving more info, it's interesting to see the differences between your EM and Comexims. Calluna Thanks for the feedback about the S cut. I might give one a try sometime.

I really love this bra and wear it as much as possible. The fit is great, the style is great and the quality is great too!

My boobs are very close set so I generally have a problem with balconette bras digging in and I prefer plunges. This one is perfect, with nice low central wires in this size but still great support. The wires are narrow and the cups are deep, so it's perfect if you have upfront boobs. I get great cleavage in this bra and a nice rounded shape from the side.

The cups are lightly padded with foam, more to shape than to add size. The ... black lace on a nude background looks great, although the lace shows through very tight tops. The bra has washed very well and still looks great after several months wear. The band has stretched a little, but no more so than you'd expect with good quality elastic. There are four hook positions anyway, helping to extend the life of the bra. The straps are also fully adjustable and are joined to the bra with sturdy metal fasteners rather than the usual flimsy looking plastic.

My only complaint about this bra is that I wish it had more padding over the underwires, as I find they hurt my (admittedly bony) ribcage. For this reason I wear this bra looser than I should, and I would prefer a 55 (26) back if there was a little more padding. I don't feel like I've lost out on any support with this compromise and I'm still very happy with it, it's just the one alteration I'd need for it to be perfect!

Motyl=butterfly- thanks to my current obsession with Ewa Michalak, I am learning a few Polish words lol! I absolutely love butterflies, I have plenty of butterfly jewelry and tops etc. They are a huge part of my personal style, so obviously I had to grab one of these as soon as I saved the money. And I’m so happy I did!

SF is Ewa’s take on a non-padded bra that gives the same shape and support of a padded one. I appreciate the engineering and thought she puts into her designs, both in the bra engineering and fashion design aspects. The bottom of the cup features 3-part seamed ... construction and a stiff fabric that supports itself, and the top part is made of stretch lace. I was worried that due to the nature of the bottom half of the cup it would lack the immediate projection I require, but the extra seams do the job very well at accommodating my projection. However, I still feel a marked difference between this SF model and my BM ones. My breasts are relatively smaller so the immediate projection aspect is not a huge deal for me as they are simply less heavy than, say, someone wearing an 80G compared to my 60G. Overall though, this seems to be quite sturdy and I have no worries of the structural integrity of the bottom cup. It is very tough!

However even though the bra feels very much durable, it is made of a soft knit fabric and delicate lace. The floral patterned fabric is very pretty and goes well with the vibe of the bra as a whole. It is very soft, and reminds me of Lululemon Nulux fabric. There is a tougher polyester-like lining on the stiffened bottom of the cup that I actually don’t mind. Usually I prefer cotton lined bras as artificial fibres are irritating but I have yet to complain about that.

The bright pink lace is the exact same one they use on the Roz i Juz line- it is very soft and has varying textures and hues that add depth and dimension to a seemingly simple lace. This lace is stretchy and on both the top of the cups and the waistband on the matching thong.

The butterflies are probably the sole reason I purchased this set, they are beautiful and made of fabric which I was honestly not expecting but was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting them to be made of plastic or something lol. These are perched on the straps of the bra and the gore, and decorate the front and back of the matching thong. The split straps are just below the butterfly decorations, and are not stretchy at all, but very tough- again, tougher than it looks.

There is a small peek-a-boo mesh gore detail under the bow and butterflies there, which is not stretchy and the same mesh/tulle they use to make most of the SMN models. I appreciate the resourcefulness of this brand, using fabrics from other models to complete a look!

    Sorry for never reviewing this!
This bra is really pretty. The black detailing on the straps was itchy, though, so I had a tailor sew it to be tucked under the strap instead of sticking out (I took the pictures before that). I like this bra, but I don't wear it much because the band is really REALLY tight. The band barely stretches to 26", and having about a 26.5" snug underbust measurement, I feel kind of constricted. I could use an extender, but I have quite a few bras that fit without one, so I'd rather just wear those instead. I find that Ewa Michalak M and CHP ... cuts are most flattering for me, but it's not that the S cut is unflattering, it just doesn't enhance my shape all that much. As usual with my 60Gs, I have some gapping on my smaller side without a cookie in, but I'm pretty sure if I try a 60FF it'll smush my bigger side.

I have the matching briefs in a 36 (I have a ~23.5" waist and ~35.5" hips). They're really soft material but kind of saggy in the butt, but they have really cute button detailing on the front just like the bra and my boyfriend loves when I match, so I have worn them from time to time.

I got this bra second hand but it's still in pretty good shape. It gives the usual projected and wonderfully round shape that Ewa CHPs are famous for. I love the aesthetics of it too. At this point in time, I would probably fit a 60GG better as this bra is perfect on my smaller side but slightly small on my larger side. It's definitely wearable, though, and still comfortable. I do wish the straps were a bit closer set. The band is very true to size and the straps are easily adjustable and comfortable.

I LOVE this bra!! I wore it all day and didn't feel it this whole time!
I have some minor gapping on my smaller side, but not enough to wear the pad.

I ordered this because I wanted blue lace, and because they run out of any dark blue ones! haha. But now I am really really glad! I love the pink detail on the band!! I didn't notice it on the pictures, but it was the first thing that caught my eye when I opened the package!!
I really love the esthetics of this bra!!

Wow, this looks totally different here than on their website (in a good way!). I'd always overlooked it on their website because it looked almost flourescent, but here it looks gorgeous! Is the chp considered a 'charged' special order?

    • 1

      Thank you! :)
Yes there was a fee for 60 band and for making it into a chp..

I bought this from Jaimie at Bra Obsessed. This is possibly my most favourite cut so far from Ewa Michalak! The band runs about 1-1.5" tight for a 28, but I wear this one on the tightest hook too. No matter, I love the super-low gore on this style, because it tacks! The upper cup edges are cut so that they close off a bit on top, but this works for me because even though I'm even-fullness, this style really pushes the breasts forward instead of up. The wires are a little too wide on me, but it doesn't bother me much.
