Love the lift on this bra, however the deep cups seem don't seem quite as supportive, since while there is some gaping at the top, so I need to tighten the straps quite a bit. Band seems to stretch out rather quickly, so I've moved to the 2nd row. Quality is great, love the fabric. I don't typically use the pads (which may explain the gaping).
OMG!! I think this is the second bra that actually fits me perfectly!!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
It looks like a simple, gray everyday bra. Not too much details, it is very basic. BUT it gives heck of a cleavage!! Band is quite tight but I had no trouble attaching it. Cups are just perfect, wire wide enough.
I have nothing bad to say about this bra, of course I haven´t actually wore it for a whole day. It does feel very comfortable and tight enough, supportive. Quality feels very good!
ETA. Doesn´t fit after all... I´m quadboobing on both boobs. So I need bigger cups.
The fabric is a bit shinier than I had anticipated, but I like the color, which seems to work pretty well with my skin tone.
I ordered this in a FF because my other CHP style in a G seemed a tiny bit big at the time I placed this order. Last week I was noticing the G was a pretty good fit, so I was a bit worried about the fit on the Brzoskwinka. Predictably, this one is a tiny bit small, but it doesn't cause any horrible quadboob and looks fine under clothes.
Hi! You mentioned that the band runs large, but can you say anything about the cup? Is it true to size or large?
I’m a 70GG e.g. in the CHP Cappuccino, and now I'm pondering whether to order the HP Cielus in 65GG or 65H, depending on the cup. The 65H would be a custom-made size and thus non-exchangeable, so I’d like to get the size right. I’ve tried to ask EM themselves (several times), but they seem completely incapable of answering this simple question...
Hi! I'd say the cups run slightly large -- but only very slightly. I don't know how it compares to the Cappuccino, but I've worn EM's CH Toffik and Karmelki bras in 70GG and I'd say that the 65GG HP Cielus has less cup volume than those two. If your 70GG Cappuccino is similarly sized to the Toffik and the Karmelki, then you'd probably do better with a 65H Cielus. It's hard to tell for sure, though -- that's just my best guess!
Lots of people have noted that EM's customer service isn't great at answering sizing questions. I guess sizing is hard to call because everyone is shaped differently, and there's a lot of variation in sizing between bras. Whichever size you order, if it doesn't fit you, you could sell it on the listings here. EM bras seem to go really fast, especially when they're new with tags.
I actually did get a reply from EM, finally, and they said it was normal in the cup. So I ordered a 65H, and based on what you said, it was probably the right call. Thanks for your answer and good review :)
This is a beautiful and well-constructed bra, but it definitely runs big; it fits like a Freya 32G, which is a terrible shame, as I was really looking forward to this bra. The narrowness of the wires and the depth of the cup were perfect for my shape, but the cups were just a bit too loose at the top, and the band really wasn't tight enough for me. I'll be listing this bra with the warning that it runs really big.
The center gore of the PL style is too low for me, so I fall in to the center and my breasts touch uncomfortable. I like this bra in the CH style instead, and the fabric and quality was similarly nice here. The comfortable padded straps didn't adjust long enough for me, and so the padding was in front of my shoulder, with the seam directly on top of my shoulder where the padded part connects the back adjustable area of the strap.
The center gore is too low for me in the PL styles it seems. I fall towards the center and my boobs squish together uncomfortably, even though the cups seem appropriate. The band was unforgivingly firm and small for me, compared to the other EM bras of same size I wear. Lace and color were very pretty, and appropriate quality. I returned this bra since the shape just didn't work for me.
I like the CHP shape from EM. It's rounded and projected up front, and with narrow yet deep enough cups for my shape. The top edge is open and so avoids quadboob for me. The center gore is high enough to keep me from falling in to the center, which happens to me in the PL-styles. The straps are fully adjustable but not slippery. The only disappointment for me is that the band and side panels are very stretchy, and so I can wear the bra comfortably on the smallest hook new. I'm going to have to tailor it down once it stretches from wear, but does fit quite comfortably on that smallest hook otherwise. I'd say go down a band size if you like a firm or snug band.
I requested a custom 32J for this bra and quite like it for a firm cup, CHP style from Ewa. The straps are fully adjustable and very firm, with little stretch to them. The band and side panels, on the other had, are very, very stretchy material. I would have selected to go down another band size if I knew this. I can wear the bra comfortably on the smallest hook new out of the package, so I'm a bit sad that I will need to alter the band smaller as it wears. But, aside form that, it's a lovely looking bra with the up front, projected cup shape. Quite comfortable, and a rounded profile that I prefer. One of the very few models in a firm cup for my size that I've encountered recently. Very open on top, so avoids quadboob for me, which I tend towards all too often.
Great bra from what I can tell. This bra is a bit too big in the cups for me. The band fits firm. For reference, I'm a 32G in Panache Sienna and 32G in Curvy Kate Thrill Me. I should've ordered one cup size smaller. Comes with removable padding and three sets of straps - comfort (wider), regular, and a halterneck strap.
Update, now that I have worn this bra three more times and it is more broken in: The strap problem I had earlier has practically disappeared. I am pulling my shoulders back a bit more now that I'm in bras that actually fit, so just making that a habit may have solved it. The cups fit pretty well once I have been in them a few hours, although one side is too big slightly still. I would buy this cup size again when I am able to order the KM Onyx. I still think strap adjustment on the front of the strap would be more ideal. Changing my ...'comfort' rating to excellent (from 'okay') to reflect my current opinion of the strap situation. I definitely would recommend this bra if it's still available in your size.
(original review follows) Fits my larger side, and in the morning my smaller side fits better but it's really a cup size too big. The clips are easy enough to undo. The lining is great, soft and pretty. I adore the green pattern on the front. This bra is very easy to nurse in. The straps are however incredibly uncomfortable to me; the cups being larger means they extend further under my arms and the edge rubs against my armpit every time I move my arm. At the end of the day I had red, raw welts along the crease of my armpit. I have pretty narrow shoulders so this would not be a problem for everyone. It would also be convenient if the strap of the nursing bras were adjustable from the front, since breast size changes during the day while nursing. Basically, my only problems with this bra were my shoulders not being cooperative, for someone with wider shoulders I am sure this bra would be just about perfect.
This is one comfortable bra! Soft on the inside, no poking or itching anywhere. The band runs snug but not enough to downsize. Cups run a bit small, I could have gone with an FF I think....but I'm breastfeeding so my size fluctuates and this fits perfectly half the time and I spill over a bit the other half. It is the opposite of the east/west look and in profile very rounded. Under a shirt would almost call it minimizing. Also very lifted. I wouldn't go running in this bra as it seems I could bounce out the top but it's ...super easy to breastfeed in because of that. Overall I am very impressed with the fit and quality of this bra. It was marked down quite a bit which is why I purchased....I really hate the gaudy colors.
Edited: The band has stretched enough so I can wear this on the tightest hook. I would order a 28 if i bought it again. And the cups are definately a size too small for me, I much prefer the fit of the FF I just got. Read more 89 more words
Gorgeous bra!! The color is deep red, bordering on maroon covered with black lace. There is a black bow with a little sparkly ring at the center gore, and the straps have red detailing too (easier to show a picture). Fit is not bad on this one. It's quite similar to my HP but a little less pushed up and more forward projection. Shape is very round. It's smooth under shirts. There is nothing digging or poking anywhere, the inside of the cups is soft and non-irritating. It feels more supportive than my HP and comes up a little higher (this is one cup size up as well). I am very pleased with this and definately would order more of this style. My best fit would probably be a 28 band though so I may try that next time.
Edited: I need to stop denying the obvious....these Ewa 30 bands are all too big for me. I am going to list this and reorder the proper (custom) size because I love the fit, color, and shape of this bra.
I love the brightness of the red, and it's well made of course. Fits my smaller side, the larger side has some cutting in. Straps don't chafe my armpit too badly. The lining is nice and cottony. It's okay to nurse in if you don't mind pulling the cup down or folding it out of the way. My daughter doesn't find this one very distracting, but most babies are partial to red so YMMV.
Fits my smaller side very well, cuts in on the bigger one. Okay to nurse in, if you don't mind pulling the cup down. The lining in the cups is delightfully cottony and soft, not itchy. The strap material does chafe because it goes in my armpit (that's my posture/narrow shoulder though, not a manufacturing problem). It's really pretty and gives a wonderful shape.
For me this bra was just too big, this style seems to run big in the cups. I could wear a 70D in the HP-line and in the PL-line, but not here. It's a very comfortable bra though, with Ewa Michalak-typical comfy fabric. The center gore didn't stab me and the straps were good, too. It's a nice nude bra which still manages not to look boring https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
I need to remove the asymmetry pads from this one for everyday use. The pads push my boobs up too high and reduces the coverage. I get a tiny bit of quadraboob with them in. Taking them out, though, makes this bra fit pretty perfectly.
The band on this one seems closer to the size of my PL Turkus as opposed to my PL Stalowka. Like the Turkus, this one is a bit stretchy and definitely larger than the same band size on the Stalowka. I love the stretchier bands when I am having one of those days wear I want the best comfort possible.
This bra is beautiful (lace over the red base), but will probably be one of my special occasion bras. I just don't like much lace for everyday bras. It irritates my skin a bit more.
This bra is insanely comfortable. This bra has the same fabric as the CHP Stalowka (of course!) which I love! No fringe, lace, or any texture that causes discomfort in this bra!
It does have the pads at the bottom to help with asymmetry, but I think this bra fits me better without them. They do create some killer cleavage though! This is my first time trying out the asymmetry pads on my smaller breast in a bra that truly fits and the effect is perfect!
As compared to the PL Turkus I have in the same size, the band on this one fits perfectly. There is a lot less stretch to it than the band of the PL Turkus! Also, I feel like the cups might be a touch smaller, but that could just be because of the asymmetry pads which were not on my PL Turkus.
I think this bra might actually be my favorite over the Turkus. It will definitely need a few wears/washes to get there, but I think it will!
