I have had mixed success with Ewa bras in the past, but it was my fault. This time, I measured the underbust tightly, and got the perfect band size. I erred on the cup size, it is wearable, but let's just say I look very juicy... On order: 75ff and 75G. The bra itself is beautiful. Great projection, great support. This one is going to be listed.
This bra has given me a centered shape. The cups fit, but the height is kind of low for me. My sternum hurts whenever I lie down. Nonetheless, this bra is beautiful and is made of high quality material. Probably the CHP version of this one will suit me better.
The 65F is about 1.5 cups larger than the 65E, which made the bra seem a little too large at first. The 65E was tiny on me. Even after I tucked some of the tissue away, I still had visible cut in under shirts. However, I see what this whole "strapgate" fiasco was about now, since I only went up 1(.5 -.-) cup size, the straps became vastly too far apart for me. It definitely has to do with poor construction in larger cup sizes for smaller frames.
When I pin the straps a little closer though, I get ...cleavage and an incredible lift (neck boobs). Oddly enough, it cuts in a little bit when I do that, so I will have to very careful when I alter it to only move the straps slightly closer. - Maybe like half an inch since I pinned it about an inch in.
The band is very thick, and it is supportive with side boning. I love that it can be worn multiple ways!
I would recommend this bra to people who normally wear a smallish 28FF. For me, I am somewhere in between the 65E and 65F cup volume in this bra, and ideally I'd like to size down 2 bands.
This bra's fit it comically small. The band is too small, the cups are too narrow. It's not my size, I must've been on something when I thought this bra would come close to fitting. The bra is gorgeous. It has been altered, by the previous user, to a 60JJ
This bra is hands down the sexiest thing I have ever worn. The cups appear a dusty mauve on their own, but are made of an incredibly sheer mesh that nearly dissappears against my skin, leaving only the black outlines framing my breasts. It gives me a very up-high, cleavagey projected look that still looks quite natural. I think Miss Underpinnings had it right when she described it as "makes it look look there's a lot LESS bra, and a lot MORE girl".
This bra has the same stellar quality and attention to detail we've come to expect from Ewa Michalak. The band is longer ...but less stretchy than other Ewa bras I've tried. The straps are completely adjustable, and there's no digging in anywhere.
The SM Nana runs about a cup size large (as compared to padded Ewa Michalak styles) and a band size small. My "usual" size at Ewa Michalak and other brands is 60H/28H, and this bra fits perfectly in a 65G. It has four sets of hooks in the back, and I wear it on the loosest or second-loosest set.
Because I sized down in the cup, the wires are VERY narrow. I'd say the wires are just right, but I do have to be quite careful to scoop properly, as there is NO room between the end of my root and where the wires start.
I was very enthusiastic about this bra when I ordered it, and really hoped it would fit, but unfortunately it didn't.
Comfort-wise, it was fairly disappointing - the ribbon underneath the cups was very scratchy, even as I only tried on the bra. The way this ribbon was sewn to the cups was also weird - it wasn't a continuous seam, but rather periodic short very thick seams, like the ones you have under coat buttons. Those things pressing on the skin are not very comfortable..
One thing that could be useful for those who need very close set cups was that in the gore, the wires from ...the two cups were overlapping.
I was also not so thrilled to see the style in person - in the photos it looked interesting and cute, with the pattern, the hearts, the shiny dots and everything. But in person, it just seemed like too much - don't get me wrong, the quality was great, as expected from EM. All the details were pretty and well made. But I would have liked to see maybe only the little hearts on a plain black style, or only the newspaper print as swimwear. Read more 91 more words
Ewa Michalak's bras tend to lean towards "sexy" in their design, but this one crosses headlong over to "oh-you-naughty-girl!". Don't get me wrong, it's naughty in a stylish, empowering way - this bra makes me feel like a burlesque superstar. (And the briefs aren't bad either...) Also it's a great example that a bra targeted to big-busted women doesn't have to look like a slightly modified sports bra. The Nana is positively wispy in appearance, but gives a very good support and shape. Pros: - ethereal - Hot, hot, hot design! Reserve this to your bedroom conquest moments (or well, use it if you just want to feel very femininely strong) - great shape (all the SMs work for me) - good support
Cons: - band is very tight. This is actually not a minus IMO, but beware when buying
This is my first SM bra. The band is stretchy - stretches to 31" - so naturally I had to hook it on the tightest hook for my 27" ribcage. I find it uplifting, but not as high as an HM bra would. The shape for me is like pointy round-ish perky. The straps are fully adjustable.
The seams and lace are completely flat, so it doesn't really show under fitted tops. I find it separates my breasts a little, so from the sides it does not look really projected. I don't prefer it, but I can still tolerate.
Wires are narrow and follow the crease of my breasts perfectly. The bra is also comfortable to be worn for long period of time.
I was disappointed that this bra didn't fit. It was gorgeous and made really well. I really liked that the wires overlapped in the gore, so it was narrow enough there. I also really liked the feel of the band (once I managed to get it on... I'm not super coordinated). However, the cups cut in a lot. I'd say they were 1-2 cup sizes too small for me directly post scoop and swoop. It gave a very noticeable and awkward bulge under shirts. My measurements usually put me directly between a 26FF and 26G, so I may be getting into the 26G range, but I'd still say this runs small. It's possible that it's not open on top enough, but the style didn't seem to feel too closed off. The straps were wider than I'm used to, but it was uncomfortable or compromising in terms of fit.
I have a love affair with this bra. Okay, it's a non-padded, non-plunge black lace number, so why the love? The world is full of black lace bras. Well, first of all, the lace is sneakily super stylish. It's modern, contemporary, not the usual grandma's-roses-thing. The Trefl looks sharp. Added to the perfect shape it gives and the relatively low center gore, this bra is sophisticated sexy times ten. Understated but boy it still packs a punch! Pros: - read above
Cons: - haven't found any, unless you count that the band runs really tight and is sturdy => no stretching
Certainly the most brilliant bra design that came out in 2013 (Eveden designers, take note!!). Ewa definitely hit the style bullseye with this one. Pros: - the look of this bra is pure WOW!! - bandsize runs true - excellent lift, good support
Cons: - feels scratchy around the edge of the cup - the seams over the underwires are unusually thick => uncomfortable if you need to bend over for longer times - runs big in the cup - as with all CHPs, the style is wide => if you have a narrow frame, this might not work for you
Nice and tight band, very pretty appearance. Fits me in the same size as all EM bras I have. The matching panties are adorable - 94 cm hips, size 38 fits well.
Very comforable bra. The band feels looser than my other EM bras, but still stays in place when I use the tightest setting. Cups are wider and shallower compared to chp famme fatale. And my bust sits lower as there are no straps that could pull them up. However I like it and feel it has a slimming effect on my silhouette.
Comfortable and gorgeous bra. Fits just great - narrow wires and sturdy band. I currently have 3 EM bras in same size and they all fit me well, so I'd say it is true to size. For my 70 cm underbust the 70 band is just right.
I love the straps on this bra - they're very soft and don't irritate my skin for once. The band fits nicely, but the cups are too wide and irritate my armpits.
Once again I tried to find my "perfect" bra from Ewa. Once again I'm really confused. The bras depth, projection, cup height & wires were just what I was looking for but it still doesn't fit. The top of the cup gaps so bad! I got this used from another user. It's been well loved but it's obviously a good bra. Just not for me.
Despite this bra was too big for me (I'm more of a 70DD in PL/CHP, 70D in the unpadded styles), and there was gaping on top, I was amazed by the rounded shape it gave me! Under a shirt, it looked even better than ALL the 3DM bras I tried. It's a pity this style doesn't come in smaller sizes, as it works equally well with them and fits much better than the 3DM cut, which never gave me the rounded-ness, support and uplift of the SM style.
OMG Where have you been my whole life?! This bra is FABULOUS! I'm so glad the reviews were not all hype. Very comfortable. There's no digging, no sagging, no spillage and the uplift and proJECTION!!!! Well, they are just to die for! I really can't say enough good things about it. I only wish it came in other colors. At least a nude... then it would be my PERFECT bra. I'm so happy I'm giddy & my daughter, who got my into all this fitting/bra stuff, is very jealous. Bottom line... I will save my money and only buy these bras! (well... I may continue to look, lol)
Thanks! Can you explain what the letters mean? PL CH CHP S etc.
I'll need to go find the style guide, but off the top of my head I remember that PL stands for plunge.CH is a type of half cup.CHP seems to be a hybrid between CH and either PL or HP,not sure which.HP is another kind of half cup,but different from the CH,it gives a different shape.
I so like the before and after side photos, debrivera1 !! Very useful.
This was my first CHP bra. The wires come up farther in my armpits than the CH style does, so it digs in a little. I wish the straps were a little wider as they are slightly uncomfortable. The cups don't bring me as front and center as the S and CH styles do so I have a very slight east-west look, but it is hardly noticeable. The cups on this bra may run slightly big.
I'm so glad you got one! :) I thought you would like this one. They did used to make it in nude colors.Keep your eyes peeled for one being sold on here or braswap.

Also,if you see a fabric you like that they used for another bra and they have a lot of that fabric, you can request a custom order for a PL.
I'm thinking of asking them to make me a PL in one of these fabrics.
