Used to fit

After my recent Pl win with Biscuit, I definitely wanted to add Cappucci-nowy to my collection. I’ve wanted this bra since the first arrival of the Cappuccino.

I actually love this bra! It’s a very date night sexy bra. It’s more open then Biscuit, with Biscuit giving more of a sweetheart shape, but I’m not mad. The tan color is nice and looks like a tan color on my skin tone. The black lace is nice and I love the strap detail that runs up the front of the straps for a few inches. The black lace over tan runs along the ... bottom of the rocker to the side of the bra where it meets the black back-band fabric. The the back-band has a 3x4 closure. The straps are black with a sheen finish to the center of the elastic with scalloped edging. There is a black satin knotted bow on the center gore with a diamond pendant. The bow knot has a loop that allows you to attach the fancy elastic straps. The elastic straps also attach using small black rings that are where the small black bows sit on the top of the front elastic detail.

Panties:
I purchased the panties in my usual size 38. These definitely give off a girdle vibe lol. But these aren’t your grandmother’s girdle. They definitely give compression and shape you. I feel due to the compression fabric they run a little on the small side if you’re just looking for regular feeling undies. There is a sheer nude overlay over the nude center panel with matching black lace lining the edge. There is a nude satin bow at the top of the front. The side hip portion is a solid matte power fabric. The panel from the side to the back is a more sheer black power stretch fabric that then attaches to the back portion of matte power stretch fabric that covers your behind. There is a black bow at the back top. All elastic is black. There is a tan cotton gusset in the crotch of the panties. Very cute, almost has a retro vibe to it.

  If you look good in black, the world is your oyster in lingerie, lol. I like how tan cup compliments your skin tone - very flattering, I think! Great purchase!

  BraOdyssey I wish I looked good in black lol. I have dark dishwater blonde hair and swamp water green eyes lol. I think the tan on this helps me get away from it looking too harsh on me. I’m more of a navy or grey kind of girl. I wish Ewa would make more PL’s with color. I’m tempted to ask if they can make me a PL Amazing.

  margesimpson I’d say this is pretty TTS. Usually black bras seem to always run on the small side, so it was a pleasant surprise that this one didn’t. I’m finding that I get better band fit in Ewa bras that don’t have the lace that continues on to the back-band.

  Yeah I find the none lace covered bands are usually too small. But some of the non lace ones in my size range are inconsistent. Thank goodness for bra extenders! LOL

  Looks so good! Thanks for comparing it with the biscuit. I almost ordered the biscuit from Levana but I went with this one instead and hopefully it gets here soon (USPS has it somewhere). Knowing myself, I will probably end up with both lol

  WildWolff Lol I ended up with both since I figured I needed a nudish color as well as a dark color. I purchased both from Lavana and can confirm USPS is crazy slow. I swear they must have walked from the bra shop to my house wearing it fit it to take this long lol. My biscuit nursing bra (for cross back bra science) was supposed to be here today. But as usual, it’s “running late” and the delivery day will be rescheduled. I’ve had DHL ship from Poland faster than what it takes for a bra to come from Pennsylvania to Southern California lol.

  Happy2BraShop yeah mine was supposed to be here today and now it just says "arriving late." I've had two other orders from Levana that have come in 6-7 days. I could pay more for better shipping but less money on shipping means more money for bras lol. I'm assuming it's the holiday weekend backing things up. I will keep shopping from Levana because I love Judy and it's much easier than ordering direct. If you want bras that she doesn't have listed she will order them for you. She also let me know recently what styles she had on the way in my size and I may end up with some of those lol

  WildWolff Totally agree. I’ll definitely keep shopping there. Customer service is amazing! It’s just a bummer our postage system lags like crazy.
  I also like ordering direct for EM. I’ve never had a bad experience, and I’ve ordered a few custom pieces. Right now I’m waiting for my Heaven to get mailed out.
  Every time a new bra comes, my husband gives my pile of bras I don’t wear a look lol. It’s my pile of “one day they might fit again” even tho I know they never will lol.

  Happy2BraShop I have yet to order directly. I planned to this summer but right now I'm kind of between cup sizes and may be growing/migrating a bit so I'll wait for that to settle before I make a big order.
  My husband is somehow not at all upset with my ever growing bra collection lol every time I get mail he says "is it a bra?" but we both have a budget for our hobbies and he spends as much on a video game as I do on a Polish bra.
  If you have anything Polish in your don't wear pile in my size I would give it a happy home! But I get the feeling of not wanting to get rid of something you love.

Plus, I like pastel colours...Plus, I'm in Canada, but I think Paypal shipping is the best way? I just found this article and it was cheaper to ship to the U.S. (with tracking, no less...) than to ship in my own country with tracking. http://catchingarrows.blogspot.com/2015/06/all-about-shipping.html But I will gladly pay used bra prices & shipping, but only if you want to get rid of stuff. Hah! that's so funny you're in SoCal - I lived in SoCal for 3 years, and in California for nine years. It where I got all of my freckles, lol.

Didn't fit

My true size according to both Bratabase's and ABraThatFits' calculators is 30FF.
I didn't check that 65 means 28 band size, LOL. I mildly struggled to put it on at first, but the second time not so much. It does leave red marks on my underbust, but it's not too tight that I can't breathe. The gore sits flat on my sternum. This gives me a lot of front view 'projection'/impression of bustiness, but not sideview IMO.

Depending on my posture I don't quite fill out the top of the cup, but majority of the time(aka good straight posture or leaning down at any angle) it fits me snugly.

It ... doesn't give much cleavage for me which I was somewhat hoping for. Maybe cookies will change that though.
The lace isn't itchy and the material is really soft. I don't quite like the black and beige color scheme but the beige really matches my skin color so it's not noticeable. I was really surprised that underneath tight clothes, the bra's silhouette isn't visible even while wearing that extra cross lace thing.

I'm planning to keep this even though the band size is too small because all this time I've been wearing a C cup or B cup. This fits me so much better and gives me more confidence even if it is tight.
This is my first ever "good" bra so yay! Next time I'll definitely go for the right band size.

EDIT: Someone kindly let me know in the replies that 65 means 30 band size, so this band just runs tight I think. Thank you for the info!

  65 actually means 30 band size, not 28. But some models can fit tight in the band. The PL also tends to run smaller in the cup than other models so that may contribute to the feeling of tightness.

Fits

I was really excited about getting this bra, but I have to admit that now I’ve got it, it’s slightly underwhelming. I’m not sure if it’s the lace or the black lace on beige or the shade of beige, but it’s just not doing it for me. It’s nearly the same as the Milady but in beige instead of red. Maybe I would like this combo in the CHP better.

The stretchy strappy straps are kinda difficult for me to use, and offer nothing to me. If anything, they fit me weird. I do think that I might have put them on upside down but I don’t ... think that it’s going to be a better fit than this if I reverse them. I don’t think that I will even bother though.

The fit with the cookies is a bit booby and cleavagey, as is to be expected. The fit of this is pretty much like the other 65FF PLs I have. There’s not much else to say about this bra that I have not already said before in my other reviews. Good projection. Good shape. Good cleavage. Soft cotton inside. Etc.

I’ve decided to exchange this for a different Ewa with another user.

- Thanks braluv. I’m trading it for a 65F BM Kleks. I have been curious about whether the 65FF BM Cabernet is a little bit too big or not and have wanted to try a cup size down. I do suspect that it’s going to be a little bit too small, but I won’t know until I try. If it’s too small, I might still hold onto it for a bit as I feel like I might be losing a bit of weight again, and thus, volume. If not, I’ll relist it and trade it for something else. I think that it’s a win anyway you look at it. I’ve been wanting a Kleks for a long time now. And this will help me decide what size fits me best.

Didn't fit

So, I took the plunge (eye-roll pun) and made my first direct order from Ewa Michalak. This PL and an S Pretty in 65FF were my first purchases. I read such great reviews of the PL, and I was convinced that it was going to be THE ONE - spoiler: it wasn't. Good things first, this bra is stunning. The detailing is so intricate and the finishings are clearly of high quality. I love the look of the black lace overlay. It is one sexy bra. Also, despite my 28-inch ribcage, the band was surprisingly comfortable and supportive on the second last hook.

However, the fit is ... where things go downhill. The shape is just not for me - it is vaguely pointy and I have some unfilled space in the top corners of the bra. I suspect that it is actually half a cup too big and a smaller size would probably fit better. Despite the gaping, it manages to give some impressive va-voom cleavage (the magic of FOT?) - but it is just not my style. I guess I am more of a full-coverage girl, so I am not sure that padded Ewa Michalak bras and I will be friends. Perhaps I should try a BM?

Sadly, I think this PL is going in the bra-fail column.

- It actually looks like you are getting some quadding on your left side. I think the PL is supposed to be better for even fullness, and the CHP for FOT. The BM should be good for any fullness, if you end up trying that.

  You know what's going on in the cups better than we do, haha, but from the photos, it looks like a great fit to me. I know that photos can be oh so deceptive at times though. Sorry it's not a keeper for you. :-/
  
  On the BM note, I love the BM style & definitely would recommend it to everyone. I too like the idea of a low coverage sexier bra, but find myself always grabbing the fuller coverage bras-BM & SF styles. Stretch lace tops, no padding, comfortable.

- Most size down a cup in the BM, and it's pretty flexible with fit due to the stretch lace. Hope you can find one on sale. :-)

Fits

This is my first REAL bra (ie not from VS). It’s also the first bra I’ve tried by Ewa Michalak. It’s comfortable and the design is simple, but super sexy. I love that it comes with the front straps to really amp it up. They’re easy to attach, they’re comfortable, and they stay put all day.
The website suggested possibly going up a cup size in this particular style, but I stuck with the 75F. I could’ve used the larger cup, though, because even without the cookies I get a little quadding and my areolas peek out of the top unless I tuck them back in haha. The ... band is fine. A lot of reviewers seem to feel that the band runs small, but this fits great. I typically wear a 34 and have only felt that I could go down to a 32 in Freya. This one would be much too big if I sized up like some people have suggested. The straps are fine for me, but some people may have an issue with them since they don’t fully adjust.
It gives a nice, natural shape to the breasts. However, under certain clothes it can look a little more conical than I’d like. I think I prefer the more rounded shape Comexim gives me.

Didn't fit

The lace detail on the Cappucci is what drew me to this bra, and it looks even better in person. This was my first Ewa PL bra, so I wasn’t really sure if this would work for me. It ended up being the first plunge bra that I’ve tried – maybe ever? – that actually keeps my boobs in place. Despite the low gore, I’m able to move around and even bend over without any spillage.

The band on this is firm without being too tight. Even though I ordered up a cup size, it is still a little too small on my bigger side. Somehow, this style ... also seems to exaggerate my asymmetry, which is usually not very noticeable. I can fix that by putting both inserts in one cup, but then both cups become too small, so I should probably just size up if I get another PL.

The wires are also a little wide for my frame, as are the straps. These are both common problems for me. The nude part of this bra is also darker than my pictures are showing – it’s more of a tan color, which is definitely too dark for me.
