This is a very sturdy and supportive full cup/coverage bra. It would be great under T's or sweaters. It is not stretchy, or flimsy, yet still comfortable with soft pretty fabric in warm carmel colors. My main issues were that the wires were just too long and poked my pits, and the center gore is just a tad wide. It did give me some nice forward projection and good lift and support.
This is an amazingly comfortable bra, even though it doesn't quite fit. I get the lovely quad boob https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> and the center gore was just a bit wide and slightly pokey. Otherwise it felt great on, the wires didn't lay on my ribs or jab my pits. The band was very supportive, yet soft and comfy with no cutting in. The shoulder straps were soft yet firm and almost unnecessary with the support that the band and underwires provided. The cups were smooth and soft, but the upper sheer part of the cup cut into my tissue causing quad boob. My only other issue would be that the cups seem somewhat far apart for my boobs. I am still considering ordering up one cup size because it was so comfy and would be perfect under T's because of the smooth cups.
One of the first bras I've owned in years that contains all my boobs. I don't have to worry about my nipples tumbling out! This is so miraculous that I want to cry a little. I would prefer a little more pushing together effect, but that's me. Excellent support for my near-pendulous breasts.
About the best fit, except for the center not sitting quite on my ribcage. The fabric is a little rough and sometimes rubs on the inside of my arm if I'm wearing a thin tee shirt
Fits pretty well. I bit of pucker on the top of the cup, I'd like it to sit closer to my ribcage, and the elastic rolls on the bottom a bit, but overall it's OK
This bra fits very well. It is a tiny bit loose in the top but within acceptable parameters. It is a fairly stretchy band, but by day's end still feels tight. It does show in low cut tops and through the sleeves of a couple of my dresses.
The seams are nice and flat and do a nice job shaping. The color, purple, is very nice and the materials feel nice.
This is a cup size too small, but I figured it would stretch a bit because of the spacer fabric. At first, the gore was way too wide and it pushed my breasts further apart than I like, giving me a wide shape from the front. As well, the cup cut in just a bit at the top (I have very full-on-top boobs). I fixed both problems by altering the center gore to make the cups sit closer together. With the alterations, I get a great, rounded shape that's not too wide. It's a really comfortble, well-made bra that is my go to t-shirt bra.
The band is snug but stretchy. Even on at it's tightest, I could still get my hand comfortably under the band. The cups are too big and I don't fill out the tops. Tightening the band help a lot, but there was still some room in the top of the cups. Empty space is very obvious because it's a full cup. The center seems high, but it lays flat against my sternum. The underwire goes too high under my arm and it's not comfortable.
Cups are way too big. Even tightening the band made no a difference. The sides were not too high. The center did not lay flat, but pushed into an outward V fold and didn't feel comfortable.
My absolute favorite fit of my new bras. The lace top part of the plunge fits the top of my breasts extremely well. However, the bold pattern shows under a lot of tops and it shows in the armpit of two of my dresses.
This was the very first properly fitted bra I bought. It fits fantastic, but it is already starting to stretch. It had a bit of wrinkle in the top of the cup, but over time that has started to smooth out.
The only problem for me is that it shows in the underarms of two of my dresses.
I find that this bra takes several wearings to "break in" - prior to that, the underwire end under my arms tends to chafe a bit. This can be improved by bending the underwire outward slightly.
Once the bra is broken in, it's perfect for me! No quad-boob, center gore lays flat, band is comfortably snug.
I love that it has a very thin layer of molding in the cups to prevent nipple show-through, and that it has a different, less-stretchy fabric on the outer edge of the cup to discourage my boobs from spilling sideways into my armpit.
Thank you. I was (at first) so happy to find a nice molded bra in my size (usually a 34 L, 34 HH UK sizing, but this particular bra fit better in 36 HH). I love the shape, but after an hour or so wearing it I found that the wire cruelly dug in and left red mark and bruises. I've adjusted the wires and I have found that it has gotten more comfortable with multiple wearings. I think it will be my best bra every if I can manage to break it in. I'm going to pair it with a braologie Bracie when it comes in to add a bit more support and take some weight off the underside where the wires like to dig in.
Love the support. It's a big bra but I also find it pretty. The cup material doesn't stretch and that makes getting the fit difficult I think. I ordered this in an FF not knowing for sure if that would work and I believe an F would have been perfect. It's just too big I think. The band is perfect though.
This is a very utilitarian bra and it's not the most visually stunning bras but it lifts my girls up high and puts them out there. This bra is sturdy and strong!!! My boobs also splay to the sides a bit and this bra brings them into the center of my chest but not overly so. I love the no stretch straps because I feel like they do not slide around as much as stretchy straps do. I have full on the bottom boobs and this bra is like scaffolding for your breasts but it's also very comfortable to me. If you don't like a lot of bra, I don't think you would like this one.
The cups fit comfortably and are just about invisible under clothing. There is some redirecting of my side boob toward the front. The straps sit comfortably, not in my armpits.
While the shape is not fabulous -- someone fuller on bottom would likely have nicer results -- it's fine for every day wear. Additionally, compared to some other Elomi cuts, the center gore is lower, maybe allowing for some different shirt types.
However, I'm on the tightest hooks straight out of the envelope -- and I can still feel a disproportionate amount of weight hanging from the straps.
* Wide enough for my breasts. Underwires do not poke. Encloses breast tissue on sides.
* Stretch lace on the cup and elastic across the top of the cup allow for some flexibility in fit. While I do technically quad a bit in my larger breast, the elastic "gives" a bit, so it's less noticeable and less uncomfortable.
* Seams and stretch lace are smooth under all but very thin fabrics.
* Straps are not too far apart.
Cons:
* Band too big. (Elomi doesn't make a smaller band size.)
* While the sides of the cup do enclose my breast tissue, they don't do a whole lot to help project it forward.
* Full cup bra with leotard back means that straps aren't too wide. * Fully adjustable straps. * Seamed cup for support. * Both seaming and lace are invisible under most fabrics. * Side support panel sends wide boobs toward the front. * 3-hook band spreads support over a wider surface area. * Material is sturdy (i.e., won't stretch out too fast) without feeling "industrial."
Cons:
* Too loose even on tightest hook (though I am finding this a a recurring thing with my measurements, so I cannot fault the bra for this). * Very wide wires -- beyond the side support panel -- might sacrifice some shape and ...support, even though I fill out the material just fine. (Caveat: I do not find this uncomfortable at all.) * High sides + full coverage bra = it shows under tops cut lower in the neckline or under the arms. (Caveat: I have totally rocked the bra lace peeking out from under a cami like it belonged there. It was pretty enough to work.) * I fill out the top of the cup completely but have wrinkling in the bottom. I feel like going down a cup size would result in some serious quadding at the top of the bra. So I think maybe this bra is better for breasts that are fuller on bottom than mine are? I felt like I was going out on a limb trying this bra as it is a smaller size than I "should" be wearing according to my measurements. But as I hooked it into place (even before the Swoop & Scoop) I knew. Practically Perfect!
I got it at the Nordstrom Clear the Rack sale, so I was limited on sizes. Otherwise, I would go up 1 cup size. It quadboobs on my bigger boob just enough to want to try larger cup sizes.
The straps dig right where there armpit meets the chest. I can't tell if this is just my little armpit fat getting in the way or an issue with the straps. They feel pretty wide on me - which I have narrow shoulders.
I wish it just wasn't so high contrast in appearance. The hot pink and light blue look fun together, but they really pop under my shirts. I've had to be careful about what I wear over it because every little rose petal shows.
