  1. Dentelle Contour Bra (E72-261)

    Didn't fit

By far the most beautiful bra I've ever owned.
I bought it used off ebay, but it's in like new condition.
The band is actually small for a 32, which I'm soo happy about because 32's have been big on me lately.
The wires are great, but the balconette style gives me some quadboob.
It's not such a big deal that I'm getting rid of it, but this isn't a precise fit. Again, probably would've done better in a 30e, but I'm not even sure if there are 30e's available in the contour version of this bra.
I think I have almost equal fullness on top and bottom, but I think this may ... better suit someone full on bottom. Could just be that cups run semi small though, or that I picked a sister size again, which almost always just almost fit.
Overall though, I like the support of this bra. The band is firm and does seem to run small. Cups are very smooth inside, wires are short. The gore is a tiny bit wide for me, but not so much that it'd cause any discomfort.
And the appearance, of course, is gorgeous.
I'm not sure if the tiny bit of spillage is an issue or not. I haven't worn this with a snug top, but I just know for next time I'm normally ok with a 32ddd for balconette styles.
In the fit description, I put that there was a smooth line across the top because there is, it just appears that there may be minor spillage. I'd actually like to know others' opinions because I'm unsure how it looks.
    Overall a great bra.

I think it looks great, Girl!! I don't see any quading in photos 1 & 2 at all. I see a little quad-boobing in 3, 5, & 6, but it seems minor. #5 shows the gore tacking nicely, maybe with a little quading on your left, but I'd say if it's comfy, it's a KEEPER. The wires seem to fit your breasts well, the band looks right, and It looks AWESOME on you. Maybe like you said, try it under a snug top and see how it looks.

      Wanabee Thank you!!
Yeah, I really feel like it's so minor that I'm not going to worry about it :)
I tried it under a more snug top and really, the whole shape of the bra showed (being padded) but quadboob wasn't noticeable, so I just know to avoid fitted tops with this. Overall no big deal. I'm just too in love with it :)

I have to say that is a very sexy bra and looks fabulous on you. I see nothing wrong with it from the photos you posted. Consider yourself lucky, as much as I would love to, I can't wear balconette style bras, I'm far too shallow and wide rooted for them to fit.

This bra is great - supportive, completely filled, very little quad boob. However, the biggest issue is the band is anything but stretchy. I am wearing it on the last hook and will use an extender or extend the band because it is a little too tight.

Got this bra on clearance otherwise wouldn't have considered it. TTS in the band. Runs about a size small in the cup. Would like to try it in a 32E. Otherwise the quality is good. Lace is a little scratchy around the bottom of the band when sitting. A bit of seam show through under clothes but not the worst I've seen.

This bra is wonderful if you have center fullness and/or close-set boobies. Band is nice and tight for a 32 band. I won't have to alter the band until it loosens up. My under bust measures 25.5"-26.5" comfortably tight right now and 27.5" loose inhaled. The cups fit like a glove. It's really a pretty bra. I think all Elle Macpherson's bras are pretty. It's kind of simple compared to other Elle Macpherson bras.

I would say this bra fits, except that the straps are too short, and there is a weird bit of bulging at the outer cup edge. The wide band is fantastic! It actually stays up better than any strapless I've tried.

Buy ALL the Gentle Jades! It fits me so well that my slight asymmetry isn't noticeable. Luckily it has softened up with a couple wears so the lace isn't as harsh. There is great allowance for upper and center fullness with good immediate projection. I. LOVE. This. Bra.

I have a 28 inch rib cage, and so far I have found 30 inch bands the most comfortable. Because this bra is in theory a 32 inch band, I do have a few minor problems with it. Still, it is the second most comfortable bra I own, and arguably the best fitting.

That said, this bra does have a few issues. The base of the gore is slightly too wide, and the cup is loose and wrinkles slightly on the inside edge just above where the cup attaches to the gore. Also, originally the wires also dug into my sternum slightly, but that was easily fixed by bending ... the wires outward slightly.

I have shallow breasts with wide roots, so I need and appreciate this bra's relatively wide cups. However, when I first got this bra, the stiffness of the cup material and top of the wire channel chafed at my underarm. Luckily, this problem has completely abated after a couple hand washings.

My only other issue is that the straps are very wide set (again, may be related to band size, and I have very narrow shoulders). This means the straps stick out when I wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. I have yet to find a comfortable bra that offers good support that does not have this strap placement problem.

All that said, this is a bra that started pretty good, and so far has gotten better with a little wash and wear, and without stretching noticeably (so far, at least). It's a good t-shirt bra, and a good plunge, which works well with the mostly fitted tops I wear over it (except for the strap visibility issues).

This bra is pretty and fits me well. The band definitely runs tight as Elle bras do, I usually wear a 30 and am fine with tight bands like Cleo, but this bra is plenty tight on the loosest set of hooks. It should be fine for anyone who usually wears 30s. I get a bit of quadding with my shoulders back all the way, but standing normally straight I have no quadding. I think the cups are a bit small for a 32DD as usually I find them to be a bit on the larger side rather than the smaller side in this size. It also gives some nice cleavage. The main problem is that the hooks dig into my back when hooked on the loosest set as the flap is not long enough to cover it - I just wear an extender clipped to the middle set of eyes and hooked on the tightest set so that the bra isn't any longer, but has extra fabric to protect me.

This is one of the most popular nursing bras available, but I don't really get it.

It isn't bad looking, compared to most nursing bras. It has no underwires, and has the "A-frame" style of drop down cup. Because it has no cups, it has a sort of projected, boob-shape molded into the fabric. Personally, it made my boobs look really pointy and weird. There was also extra wrinkly fabric in the projected area, because I have shallow breasts. I would say that this runs about a cup size large, since I have other 32DDs and 30Es that fit fine.

A few other good points of this bra ... are that the fabric is soft, and it has 6 columns of hooks, rather than the 3 that most bras have. This is a fairly common feature in nursing bras, but it's one I always appreciate. I had to return it though, since it didn't fit, and I prefer an underwired bra anyway. Doctors and Lactation Consultants will tell you you shouldn't wear underwires while nursing, but as long as it fits properly (i.e.- the underwire isn't pressing on any actual breast tissue), it's not a problem.

I do keep one non-wired nursing bra on hand, but I prefer the Panache Sophie Nursing Bra (5821). It fit me better (very snug in a 30E) and it's way prettier.

This bra is a super tight 32DD. The cups are quite small and so is the band. It is made of black lace and the tag says "Spree" but that was not an option. There is a bit of plastic on the inside top of the cups to keep them from falling down.

This bra was at least 2 cup sizes too small for me, so it's hard to say how it would fit. I'm going to try it in a 32F and see how that goes. But it was very pretty and seemed like it would be comfortable if it was sized right.
