    Didn't fit

By far the most beautiful bra I've ever owned.
I bought it used off ebay, but it's in like new condition.
The band is actually small for a 32, which I'm soo happy about because 32's have been big on me lately.
The wires are great, but the balconette style gives me some quadboob.
It's not such a big deal that I'm getting rid of it, but this isn't a precise fit. Again, probably would've done better in a 30e, but I'm not even sure if there are 30e's available in the contour version of this bra.
I think I have almost equal fullness on top and bottom, but I think this may ... better suit someone full on bottom. Could just be that cups run semi small though, or that I picked a sister size again, which almost always just almost fit.
Overall though, I like the support of this bra. The band is firm and does seem to run small. Cups are very smooth inside, wires are short. The gore is a tiny bit wide for me, but not so much that it'd cause any discomfort.
And the appearance, of course, is gorgeous.
I'm not sure if the tiny bit of spillage is an issue or not. I haven't worn this with a snug top, but I just know for next time I'm normally ok with a 32ddd for balconette styles.
In the fit description, I put that there was a smooth line across the top because there is, it just appears that there may be minor spillage. I'd actually like to know others' opinions because I'm unsure how it looks.
    Overall a great bra.

I think it looks great, Girl!! I don't see any quading in photos 1 & 2 at all. I see a little quad-boobing in 3, 5, & 6, but it seems minor. #5 shows the gore tacking nicely, maybe with a little quading on your left, but I'd say if it's comfy, it's a KEEPER. The wires seem to fit your breasts well, the band looks right, and It looks AWESOME on you. Maybe like you said, try it under a snug top and see how it looks.

      Wanabee Thank you!!
Yeah, I really feel like it's so minor that I'm not going to worry about it :)
I tried it under a more snug top and really, the whole shape of the bra showed (being padded) but quadboob wasn't noticeable, so I just know to avoid fitted tops with this. Overall no big deal. I'm just too in love with it :)

I have to say that is a very sexy bra and looks fabulous on you. I see nothing wrong with it from the photos you posted. Consider yourself lucky, as much as I would love to, I can't wear balconette style bras, I'm far too shallow and wide rooted for them to fit.

First off, Elle Macpherson's bands run at least a full size small. I'm generally a 30, sometimes a 28, and 32 on these bras is a bit tight on me. It does stretch after a while, as all bras do, and after a few days wearing it for a couple hours to break it in, it becomes more comfortable on the last row of hooks. That said, this bra is GORGEOUS. It's actually a bit too small for me in the cups, but not enough to cause problems, and the balconette style doesn't cut in at the top. It's got a bit of a shallow cup to push more of the breast up. I suspect a 32DD would have worked better for me, but a) my boobs look great in this one and b) the store didn't have one and I love this bra too much to part with it.

  3. I have a deep blue and grey version. The bra is very pretty.
It is very comfortable, the pads are thin (which I prefer).
I don't know if it's typical of the brand, but they fit very small comparing to the size on the label. I usually am a 28D/30C and this one is a 32C.
I tried the 32B that looked a bit better on me because the cups were smaller and fit my small frame better but they were a bit too small to be as comfortable as the 32C.

Thanks to the kind and generous user Scharminkeltje, I was able to try on this bra. It was a very pleasant surprise that this bra fits as well as it does (regular size 28D). The band was tight (for a 32) even though it was used. The cups are very open at the top and shallow at the bottom. I don't have tall roots so the top of the cups gape just a tiny bit but doesn't really affect fit. Perhaps altering the band will help. The gore isn't too wide but comes up high between my close-set breast. The wires are narrow/average. I don't have wide breasts so it's not an issue. Straps are only half-adjustable so high-set breasts may have an issue with the length.

Overall, it's not perfect but a decent fit. Good aesthetics.

    Fits

This bra is beautiful I have it in the Black/Insignia Blue combo and its lovely! This bra also gives me major cleavage without quad boob. It has very defined boning that lifts the breast.

This doesn't look smooth under clothes (but with cleavage like this who cares) https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The band seems to run a little snug and closer to a normal 30 band. I also tried this in a 32D.

I would suggest this in your sister size (one band up and one cup down) should fit beautifully. If you are wider set you might also try one cup up in the same band size to allow for the bra to be more centered on your body (This bra seems to run a little closer together in the middle.)

I ordered this and the 32C to compare - I will ultimately be keeping the 32C which is a sister size to my normal 30D. Band runs on the snug side and I am able to wear this on the first hook and it feels snug and more like a 30 band. The bra does sit a little closer together in the middle than fits my body, but this bra is absolutely beautiful and gives amazing lift and cleavage. Once you get it to fit - it is worth it.

I have had problems with bras cutting in and making quad boob - this does not do that and ... seems to just wrap beautifully in line with the body. Gives nice rounded shape.

If you are not wide set, this bra in your sister size (one band size up from your normal and one cup size down from your normal) should work great. If you are slightly wider set, you might also want to try one cup up in the same band size to allow the bra to feel more centered. I think the wider cup of the D feels more comfortable and centered on my body, but It was too deep for me. I am hoping with time I can get the C wires to relax a little - no matter what, this bra was just too beautiful to send back!

Elle Macpherson is a really bad habit I find hard to break. They don't really make my size - 32B (the smallest size I can find in most styles) is a bit small in the cup and loose in the band. I've known this for years, and still I buy them because THEY ARE SO PRETTY.

This one is by no means an exception. It's loose in the band, and the underwires stab me in the sideboob. Obviously this means little support and constant tugging at my bra. The lace shows through almost any fabric. It's great for "that special night" ONLY in the night portion - the design and color (I have the magenta one) definitely get the point across.

If anyone runs across Elle Macpherson in smaller band sizes, please let me know! I'd love for the pretty stuff to also be functional. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is a great shape for shallow boobs (open on top, 2 vertical seams), but it was clearly the wrong size (see photos). I had the shoulder straps as long as they would go, and they were still too short. The band is nice and snug, though - if I had this in a larger cup size, it may have worked for me. I gave it away to another bratabase user https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Incredibly, this bra gives me some semblance of that "cakes on a plate" type look that I covet but can rarely achieve with my small, shallow boobs. It does this by being really shallow in the construction and very closely spaced, pushing boobs in and up. It's a thin contour cup, no extra padding, but it makes my breasts look way nicer than the sad push-ups I used to wear. This bra looks great on - the lace design is really lovely and looks expensive, and the balconette shape is very flattering. It pushes my boobs up into a rounded shape and the open edge doesn't cut into ... breast tissue.

Since my ribcage is about 27" exhaled, I'd love it if if this style came in smaller band sizes, but truthfully, the 32 isn't so bad. It runs snug, closer to a 30. The straps don't fall off my shoulders like they do with most too-loose bras, and the cup is just the right size for me - there's no extra room, but no bulging either. Since my boobs are closely spaced, the high center gore doesn't lie quite flush to my sternum, but I can live with that.
