Band runs firm: I normally can't wear a 32 on the loosest hooks, but this one has been happily sitting on the loosest hooks without shifting ever since I bought it. Three hooks in the band is also a nice feature.
Cups run wide and a little shallow (which could possibly be contributing to my impression that the band runs firm?). Technically I need a smaller cup width with a touch more projection, but soft tissue means I have relatively biddable breasts so can wear this shape comfortably enough. Although by 3/4 of the way through the day the whole bra has inevitably tipped forward, pushing the underwires into my ribs, as my boobs lose their temper and demand more space up front.
The lace is not stretch lace, and nor is it particularly strong lace. The cups therefore give a very natural shape: some lift and a touch of rounding.
The fabric is exquisite. The bra seems well constructed. The lace isn't itchy. The band is snug. The wires are far too wide. The gore is also too wide.
I like this bra a lot. It's the first bra I got in my actual size so I can't really give to much detail about fit since I'm learning myself. My only problem is that it's pretty itchy and the center gore digs in a bit too much. Plus the band is a bit too stretchy for my liking.
Bra band fits relatively comfortably. In my opinion, this bra is meant for more of a larger B cup as it is heavily bottom padded. I've only worn this a few times as I am actually a D cup now. I've taken pictures of the bands, interior middle, and outside of the bra. I haven't washed it in a very long time (as I haven't worn it).
I have a 28 inch rib cage, and so far I have found 30 inch bands the most comfortable. Because this bra is in theory a 32 inch band, I do have a few minor problems with it. Still, it is the second most comfortable bra I own, and arguably the best fitting.
That said, this bra does have a few issues. The base of the gore is slightly too wide, and the cup is loose and wrinkles slightly on the inside edge just above where the cup attaches to the gore. Also, originally the wires also dug into my sternum slightly, but that was easily fixed by bending ...the wires outward slightly.
I have shallow breasts with wide roots, so I need and appreciate this bra's relatively wide cups. However, when I first got this bra, the stiffness of the cup material and top of the wire channel chafed at my underarm. Luckily, this problem has completely abated after a couple hand washings.
My only other issue is that the straps are very wide set (again, may be related to band size, and I have very narrow shoulders). This means the straps stick out when I wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. I have yet to find a comfortable bra that offers good support that does not have this strap placement problem.
All that said, this is a bra that started pretty good, and so far has gotten better with a little wash and wear, and without stretching noticeably (so far, at least). It's a good t-shirt bra, and a good plunge, which works well with the mostly fitted tops I wear over it (except for the strap visibility issues). Read more 169 more words
This is an absolutely beautiful bra, and I wish it fit me, but the cups are definitely too small, and I get quad-boob as well as spillage under the arms.
The cups fit very well, but the lace can be a bit itchy. The band is also just the slightest bit too tight, which I'm hoping will just fix itself with time because otherwise I love it.
It's not my style aesthetically, but it's carefully made. The cup is wide and shallow. (It's too small for me, so I can't give any details on how it fits.) Fully adjustable straps.
Pros: Makes breasts perky, beautiful Cons: Band runs small (only stretches to ~29"), scratchy lace/mesh, pokes due to small band
My BTT measurement is ~28" and my snug underbust is ~29" so while this technically just fits, it's a little uncomfortable. If you are a true 30" band, this will definitely be too tight! I do love it though, and I find it works great for my shallow breasts. If you have wide roots, this bra won't work, however. The wires are not wide, and they don't come up very high either.
I usually wear a 30E (65E) and I got this in a 32E (70E). The band runs pretty tight, as I can wear this on the loosest hook! Anyway, the fit is perfect except for the the side:I get slight wrinkling in the lower sides of both cups, despite my filling out the cups well in other places.
This bra offers good support. It's comfortable and doesn't poke anywhere. I usually don't have see-through or unpadded bras, so this one might take some getting used to. I love the way it looks without clothes (and so did the bf!), but I'm not 100% in love with the shape under ...clothes: from the back, it's awesome because there are no lines or bulging, and it's decent from the front (no huge uplift but no visible bra lines or anything), but from the side I think it looks a little... sloppy? I don't know. My 30E - Cleo ยป Juna (6461) gives a much cleaner, tighter, perkier shape. I might look for the contoured version of this bra, that they didn't have in-store when I bought this.
I got this bra on sale, so I am not too worried about the durability for the price I paid, but the bra itself seems sturdy even though the lace looks pretty delicate. Read more 111 more words
I own the 32E in a couple of colourways now, and this black/rose one fits me differently than the other two.
The cups are wider and shallower. The band also seems tighter, although the numbers indicate it isn't -- perhaps the tightness is simply because of boob being squeezed under the band by the shallow cups.
Band runs tight (I'm normally a 30, but I can wear the 32 in this on the loosest hooks without it riding up). The cups are too small: once I've swooped and scooped I quadboob even a little on my smaller breast - but sizing up to the 32F, while it fixed the cup volume, resulted in too high a gore for my close-set boobs.
The cup on this bra fits me nicely, and would suit FOB breasts. Wires are about medium width, the bra looks really good.
Pros
Nice looking Deep cup Rounded shape
Cons
Band is a bit narrow and has tight elastic combined with not tight mesh - leading to the "back fat" look Cup comes up a bit high at the front, and some many have trouble filling it (like me) The bra looks quite worn and daggy after only a short period of time owning it Lace at the bottom of the bra curls up slightly
The bra doesn't fit so well in terms of my breast shape. I have moderately narrow breasts, and there's empty space both at the bottom and sides of the cups. However, I've also got a bit of quadraboob, especially when I swoop and scoop. While the bra gives my breasts quite a nice round shape, it also makes them very wide-set. I'd recommend this bra more to women with wide-rooted and shallower breasts.
It gives me a bit of pain in my left shoulder. Not sure what causes this.
I got this bra in the 'nude' (ie, beige-pink) colourway, and it's extremely pretty. It's quite plain, but the nice material and detailing make it look luxurious.
This bra is beautiful I have it in the Black/Insignia Blue combo and its lovely! This bra also gives me major cleavage without quad boob. It has very defined boning that lifts the breast.
This doesn't look smooth under clothes (but with cleavage like this who cares) https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band seems to run a little snug and closer to a normal 30 band. I also tried this in a 32D.
I would suggest this in your sister size (one band up and one cup down) should fit beautifully. If you are wider set you might also try one cup up in the same band size to allow for the bra to be more centered on your body (This bra seems to run a little closer together in the middle.)
I ordered this and the 32C to compare - I will ultimately be keeping the 32C which is a sister size to my normal 30D. Band runs on the snug side and I am able to wear this on the first hook and it feels snug and more like a 30 band. The bra does sit a little closer together in the middle than fits my body, but this bra is absolutely beautiful and gives amazing lift and cleavage. Once you get it to fit - it is worth it.
I have had problems with bras cutting in and making quad boob - this does not do that and ...seems to just wrap beautifully in line with the body. Gives nice rounded shape.
If you are not wide set, this bra in your sister size (one band size up from your normal and one cup size down from your normal) should work great. If you are slightly wider set, you might also want to try one cup up in the same band size to allow the bra to feel more centered. I think the wider cup of the D feels more comfortable and centered on my body, but It was too deep for me. I am hoping with time I can get the C wires to relax a little - no matter what, this bra was just too beautiful to send back! Read more 122 more words
I'd say this is best for someone with separate and spalyed breasts. Mine are forward and close, so the gore bothers me and the outer wires are taller than I'd like and extend too far, even though the volume is right.
Because of the shape issues I haven't worn it much and can't say how it holds up. But it has the softest lace of any of the EMIs I've tried and I wish it fit. The straps are half adjustable and a little too far apart for my narrow shoulders, but the straps stay up somehow and adjust short enough for my shortish frame.
I hate this bra. It is the most un-supportive and unflattering bra I own. It's supposedly my size, but the cups just won't cover my boobs, and I sag just as much wearing the bra as I do braless. No support. The cotton slings stay in place but the outer drop-cups just slouch down right along with my boobs, creating a really awkward gap between the two layers that is not pretty, and very uncomfortable. In order to prevent this, I tried tightening the straps as far as they would go. I ended up feeling slightly more supported, but the straps cut into shoulders and armpits, and the gap between the two layers across the top of my boobs was even more pronounced - you could see skin! It doesn't lie flat under a shirt and it looks like I'm wearing two camisoles that bunched up, and no bra. I could see this bra working for someone with much smaller or flatter breasts, but honestly they shouldn't have even made it in 32G because it's not worth it.
When I bought this the straps were too short for me. I sewed on some longer straps and now it's a pretty well fitting bra. It runs small in the band - fits more like a 32. The horizontal seam is a bit low and gives a squared off, slightly downturned shape. The seams don't show too badly under a tshirt.
