  1. Ingrid Half Cup Longline

Omg omg omg. This is my third Ingrid. I've tried Ingrid plunge 80k and 85K before but they were too small in the cups and too big in the bands. (I don't know what I was thinking. 85?! Ouch....) Finally I have got a fitting Ingrid!!!!!!!! I am just too excited to have one of my favorite bras in a proper size now. Lol

This in size 75M fits like just 34H which is my usual uk size. The band stretches to about 35 inches. The wires are narrow and the cups deep. What more can I say? It is a Comexim! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

roxannelovesbras Thanks!! Ingrid is totally fantastic lol

    • Awesome, looks great

    • thats narrow? looks like it comes almost to the back of your armpit? Not to be critical, but i keep considering trying a comexim but keep being discouraged. i'm 3 or 4 cup sizes larger than you are

    • 1

Beautiful!!! dbmamaz I bent, narrowed, the wires and it worked fantastically for me.

    • Thanks lvp!

dbmamaz Yes, only considering the size. The width is about 16cm. And surprisingly, bigger size bras from comexim that I've ordered before has the same wires in width. I have Coco 3hc in size 80M which fits like 32Jj/34j(not sure though. It is just huge for me..ugh I listed it, so you can check the measurement) and compared it to Ingrid 75M. They have same width. So... I think it is worth trying haha.

    • Thanks DressTheTwins!! :)

    • Wow, that is close to my size. But the band seems pretty big. I mostly wear 32s in Panache and 75s in Ewa Michalak. How did you end up with such a big bra? Wish you werent so VERY far away lol

    • Looks lovely on you! dbmamaz all the measurements I see for Comexims look too wide for me so I've been starting the think the narrow wires are maybe somewhat size dependent or because they are narrower than many other padded half cups- just guessing here

    • yeah, they seem to fit really well on people who are maybe up to a G cup in Uk, i think. tho a few bigger people like them

Tho if I look at her 80M listing, her measurements of the cup width is smaller than any of my bras? Idk, its tempting me a little. for science. not like i need another black bra tho

    • 1

Then I'd be tempted too! My problem is the opposite. All the measurements I see where the depth would fit me the width is wider than all the bras I already have. But I'm still tempted by Ingrid because she's so lovely.

    • I should have said that the wires are no narrower than some of the other bras I have and wider than some others. In 65HH Ingrid which I would guess estimate as my size (having not tried it on) the measurements are very similar to my Cleo Lily 30F. The width is the same actually. Another I've looked for example was the Sonia half cup. I think I'd need a 65J in it and the wires are 5.7" which is basically the same as the Claudette Sophia icon 30FF Chinchilla color way.

    • 1

dbmamaz oh.. It has a long story lol. I think coco runs a bit big in the size. And the band is pretty firm and fits like em's 75s. I've tried S pralinca? and s cut bra in size 75hh and 75J. I think coco80m fits like em's 75jj, not sure though.

      Thanks revisa!!

My UK size is 32JJ / K. This 75M does fit me surprisingly well. The band does fit just right. If I wear the bra more than 2 days in a row (I know, I shouldn't!) I have to wear it on the second hook as the band stretches out a bit with wear. The wires are quite narrow (compared to other bras in that size range) and are just perfect for me. The cups are very tall which is perfect for my tall / full – on – top boobs. The bra is very comfortable and supportive.
My main issue is that the gore is too low and ... floating. The cups are slightly small, I get some overspill towards the centre because my boobs are very centre heavy. I don't get some severe quadboob though. Or let's say it's not visible under a t-shirt, so if it's not visible I don't call it an issue. Still I think, I'd need another cup size up + a taller gore to get a proper fit in this bra.
I like the colour, it's a nice “beige” that goes quite well with my rather pale skin. Most so called “nude” colours end up being too yellowish on my skin but this one is just perfect.
I absolutely love the shape I get in this bra! It's a perfect round shape from the side <3

I'll write a full review of this bra on my blog in due course but for now here are the key points:

    - 75 band good, although possibly 70 would be better for longer term wear
    - M cups too small. Wires too narrow. Some quadboob, but also there is a gap at the top of the cups. Suggest shorter cups (custom order) and would like to try lower centre gore as well, for more clothing options.
    - Straps fully adjust and are very comfy.
    - Band quite stretchy.

    • Is it smaller than other comexim bra?

    • I don't know, I'm afraid. I am not familiar with Comexim's bras. Try comparing the measurements of this one with other Comexims that are listed on here.

    **Standard Comexim with no customizations**

Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, and straps are less on the edge of my shoulders than some other bras. The cup height is incredibly too much for my vertically short, FoB, high set boobs, so it is very hard for me to gauge how the cups fit since the top half is empty and nearly sitting at my collarbones. I have the straps adjusted to maximum shortness, so if I were to keep this bra, ... the straps would ultimately be too long. Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely.

Based on my experience with this bra, I will request reduced cup height for any future Comexim orders. The shape, uplift, and comfort are definitely worth giving another size a try!

**My sizes for reference: UK 32J/JJ; Ewa Michalak Sm 70JJ/75J; Ewa Michalak Pl 70K/75JJ. I am FoB, close set, high on chest, and have soft tissue.**

I got this bra in a bundle of Polish bras for bargain price. I was curious to try Comexim, I have not tried any of their bras in years.
The wires of this bra are much weaker than I remembered. They are actual pudding wires that do nothing.

My shape: fot, tall narrow to average wide root, centerheavy and projected

This bra does nothing for my boobs. The band feels a bit too large and I wear it on the tightest setting already. When you choose fit issues you have to choose between "Wrinkles, can't quite fill it" and " Cuts into breast tissue (quad boob effect)" this bra does both! ... If I just put on the bra normally... the gore does float away from the sternum immediately. The cups do gap and it looks kinda weird. (see angle photos)
If I push the gore flat, then suddenly the quadboob appears and shows that the bra is actually too small in cups. It makes sense as this bra only measures 33 cm in cup depth and I currently need around 37cm cup depth!

I had padded bras before that were too small but the gore did never float that much - so I wonder if it's only because the bra is too small or that the wires are also too weak? I don't really know If I shall try another Comexim bra, because I fear they are not strong enough to support a large bust. If I tried anohter bra I probably look into 70O, 1 cup up and 1 band down.

    • You should try their regular plunge cut and change the wires out. This is the super plunge cut and I don’t think it’s the most supportive. I also don’t think their wires are great, but put some panache wires in there and it’s a game changer!

    • cupandahalf I had no idea there is several plunge cuts - I just got this bra since it was very cheap to figure out my Comexim size. I have a few other Polish bras here that have pudding wires - I had a 30JJ Panache inmind to cut apart but it turns out that wire would be much too long. What do you do in that case? Cut the wire? Or get a much smaller bra ? I looked up and need about 30GG/ H wires in lenght to fit into polish bras.

    • I also thought about removing the wire on this one and use it as sleep bra. I doubt it will work with a better wire as it is slightly too small and too low cut.

    • 1

"this bra does both! " lol

    • 1

Yes since it’s too low cut it won’t work. I buy bra replacement wires online.

    • 1

If this is the same bra as below I would say they did a reduced cup height and gore, following their deep plunge fit (same as ginger). I’ve tried to encourage JJ and others to mark the two different plunge cuts but I haven’t gotten much traction.

    • 2

dbmamaz :D I choose now the option: "cuts into breast tissue" since the bra is too small if the gore wouldn't float. So it's more accurate.

    • 1

I could be wrong though. Comexims are much taller in my size (although shorter than most bras in my size still).

    • cupandahalf where do you buy them? You write in your reviews often that you often replace wires with Panache wires in your bras... so I thought I could make good use of old Panache bras - but probably that only works if you have a smaller Panache bra vs larger Elomi/ Comexim etc. ?

    • I don't know the different cuts of Comexim well.. since I got the bra pre-owned, it was listed as just Commexim 75M and nothing about the cut or fit. I don't find the cups to be short? But I also have no idea how tall Comexim regular cups are in my size range.

Except that the cups are too tall for me (I am short rooted, pendulous and soft tissue), this is a great daily bra. Will suit projected, narrow rooted, tall or fot breasts.

The band is stretch so it fits like 36h/38gg imo.

    • Thanks for this review! It sounds like we are close in size and shape. Generally speaking do you think the 3HC style suits you? I am looking at getting something from Comexim soon but plunges and half-cups aren't styles I would normally go for with my soft tissue and larger cup size.

    • Yes, I think the 3hc is a good fit for me. I have more 3hc bras and wear them a lot. Weirdly comexim plunge bras give me OIG effect, they are very deep and narrow though. But I've never get it as wearing the 3hc style. I think it has enough immediate projection.

    • Thanks!!

This was my first Comexim bra and I purchased it when I was about a 32J (now 30HH). The band was too big, but it was still wearable on the tightest hooks. The cups were a little on the large size too, so I only wore it a few times when my breast size fluctuated and I wanted to wear a loose band for comfort, and even then the cups gapped. It was only really wearable at those times because my breasts are quite full on top. Really though, this size would best suit a 34J.

The wires on the side are quite low so pinching was ... never a problem and they never dug in. The wires are also quite narrow (as tends to be the case for Polish bras), which I love because I have quite a narrow root. The narrow gore is great for close set breasts. And the shape Comexim bras give is very uplifted, round, but not too orb-like. The Free Time pattern is pretty cool as well. I love that Comexim does so many prints. The material is super comfortable as well... the lining of the cups are so soft, in the right size, these bras are a dream to wear.

The cons to Comexim bras, I find, is that the cup height often comes up a little tall.. This can be amended by emailing them when ordering and asking for a reduced cup height (they don't charge for this).

his is a very pretty bra that seems like it would be comfortable. I ended up with the wrong size due to a miscommunication with Anna at Comexim, so it is a bit too large in the cup for me. It gives a nice, round, uplifted shape. My breasts are close-set with a narrow root and a lot of immediate and center projection, but leaning towards FoT and full in the center. I feel like this bra would have fit well if the cups weren't too big. The straps are fully adjustable, and are just barely too wide for my narrow shoulders. But they are narrower-set than my ... Ewa bras and much narrower than Cleo!

It is brand new, never worn (just tried on for a few minutes), but it didn't come with any tags. The band seems quite snug for a 75, as I prefer 70 bands in most of the bras I have from Ewa Michalak, so this would be similar to some of her newer models that run tight, like the S Grace. It fits like a UK 32JJ or a very snug 34J.

Update: I have gained weight so that I am more of a 32JJ and have been wearing this bra more. The cup shape doesn't quite suit me as it seems to want my breasts to be fullest towards the outside rather than towards the center, and the gore is maybe 1/2" or so too low, as I fall out of this bra after a while, and not out of my Ewa PL, which has a very slightly higher gore. The band has also stretched out some after a few wears, so it is a little too loose on the tightest hook, but this is true of most of my (more worn) 32/70 band bras as well, so I think it is probably still pretty tight for a 75 band.

First the good: FINALLY a bra with narrow enough wires, strap placement that's not trying to saw off my arms, and a narrow enough gore. It also has nice, tall wings so everything stays in place and looks smooth and yet somehow doesn't jab me in the armpit.

As far as the band sizing, I originally planned on ordering a 70 but after discussing with Anna at Comexim and reading a few reviews that the bands run tight, opted for a 75. The band measured in at 33 inches fully stretched, so it does appear to run small. Right now however I'm vacillating between 32 ... bands (that ride up a bit) and 30s that barely close or require an extender, so maybe a 70 that runs a bit small would be ideal. I don't know; still undecided here. Even though the band only has two rows of hooks (3 columns), wearing it on the middle or tightest closure feels comfortably firm and secure (I think due to the wings).

I get a ton of gaping and some empty space at the top of the cups, unfortunately. It isn't visible under a tight shirt but it means it isn't as supportive as it should be and I don't get va-voom cleavage you'd expect from a plunge. Even though the depth at the apex is perfect, I think I need to size down one to two cup sizes in any plunge style bra to make them work with my shape and soft tissue. The cups have a soft cotton lining and are lightly padded/lined (similar to an EM, possibly a bit less padded).

My only issue with this bra (other than sizing) is the straps. They are perfect as far as the width setting but the width of the strap itself is narrower than EM or Panache straps, so I'm curious as to how comfortable that would be for all day wear.

Next time you order from them, you can request a reduced 'bowl' (cup) so there isn't so much extra fabric at the top of the cups. I've heard that works well for us some people (and am curious about it for myself as well!)

This is a smidge large in the cup for me - it fits during my biggest days of the month, but I get some gaping during the rest of the time.

The fit feels a little off to me - I have a few Comexim Halfcups in 75L, and by comparison, this one feels SO much taller, and wider. The gore especially is throwing me off, I'm so used to overlapping gores from Comexim. Also, the wings come up really high, and the straps are wider set, both of which are making it a bit uncomfortable for my underarm area.

OTOH, the higher wings means a wider band, which ... is *fantastically* comfortable. I still get great lift and shape, and the bottom of the cup is nicely projected.

This isn't my favorite Comexim, looks wise (I think that's a big part of why I'm so lukewarm about it, lol), but it was on sale and so it was tough to pass up. The fabrics are very soft, the craftsmanship is impeccable as always. I think I'm just a little burnt out on the red/black combo in lingerie.

the band is really tight, rather fits like a 70 EU / 32 UK-US as I could barely fasten it with a 6cm extender whereas my 80 Audrey from Comexim is nearly too big. Since my boobs are really soft, I have a very slight gap on the top of the cup for the smallest one, but the biggest one fits perfect - except that the center gore doesn't tack, so that it is probably one cup too small. The center gore is quite high for a plunge, I was used to Panache Masquerade's low center gores which suits me as I get sternum dislocations when the center ... gore is too high. Not a problem here though since it doesn't tack.
The fabric is beautiful and very classy, it does look like Masquerade fabrics which I loved but their sizes run too small for me now.
My supposed size is 36KK. So basically I should have bought this bra at least 1 band up.
Projection is really nice, it really gives my boobs a rounded uplifted shape. I feel like I'm actually wearing push-ups when I wear my 2 Comexim plunges

**CUSTOM ORDER: Requested (1) reduced cup height AND (2) higher gore by 2 cm**

Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, but the straps are actually more wide set than other Comexim bras I have/tried. I have a Comexim Jacqueline in 75M with reduced cups and a higher gore by only 1-1.5 cm, and it seems to fit quite nicely. I was hoping a slightly higher gore than that would make me less "jiggly", but it seemed to defeat the purpose that I was attempting. The ... gore cannot even tack because I am too close set at that point, plus my boobs win the fight with the soft Comexim wires. Oh well, better luck next time! Also, another downfall of asking for TOO high of a gore is to keep the bra a true "plunge", the tops of the cups have to be raised slightly to keep the angle....therefore making the cups a tad too tall for me (which kind of defeated my asking for reduced cup height....oops.) Cups too tall = too much empty space at the top that I cannot fill (and probably contributing to the wide set strap thing.)

Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely. The bra is very pretty with tiny raised fuzzy pink dots over a black background. Also, there are cute little pink flower details on the gore and straps instead of the usual bows, which is a nice change.

I am a 32J and my favorite bra is the Floris. I keep looking at various foreign bras - I'm really fascinated with your take on this Comexim Basic. Esp on this one, I almost feel like, in going for such a round cup, the bra ends up minimizing and smooshing your breasts towards each other. I used to think I prefered a rounded look like this bra, but the Floris is more torpedo-y but my breasts seem to actually fit that shape better than all the rounded ones I've tried.

I'm thinking i probably WONT try this bra - I'm sure I'd be spilling out the center, too!

dbmamaz This particular Comexim didn't work well for me because the cups were too tall and the gore was too short. This was the very first one I ever tried. I've since revised my Comexim orders to include asking for (1) reduced cup height and (2) higher gores, and they work fabulously on me now. I've also lost some weight and have tried a few different sizes as well over the course of my weight loss journey. I've added many more Comexim bras on Bratabase that you can see work quite well for me.

I do agree that this shape is more of a smooshed/round shape, but I prefer that over torpedo shapes, even though I am very pendulous. I have lots of stretch marks/saggy skin that I am very self-conscious about from early puberty and a lifetime of fluctuating weight, so the uplifted/smooshed affect makes my skin appear more firm.

We all just have different preferences, of course!

I actually have the same thing going on - I prefer rounded because it kind of gathers it all up and makes me look firm (mine's more due to rapid growth and breast feeding). I actually altered some EM S bras and they have a more rounded shape like this one (it wasn't intentional, I just removed part of the cup and centered the straps). Interesting because I thought all Comexim bras were "torpedo shaped." (which also fits the shape of my breasts better - I'm fairly certain this is the same for all small underbust/large bust women).
