This Comexim came from Wellfitting. The gore is not overlapped at all. There are three rows of hooks. The green is beautiful. Band is pretty average stretchiness so I do not need an extender. The cups are noticeably more narrow than my 60H plunges.
The good: The band fits wonderfully and for the first time in a long while or possibly ever, the wires are actually a fantastic fit. I've been having issues with wire width, and this was the first bra that encased my breasts properly. So the band and the wires fit fantastically.
The not so good. I fill out the lower 2/3-3/4 of the bra and then it gapes badly. I'm not sure if this is from shape issue and not having enough upper pole fullness or if it's from the fact any type of measurements I do seems grossly over estimates my size, and I'm actually much smaller than ...what I measure. Also the cups are really tall too, which is kind of a bummer; but this isn't something that surprises me since I am extremely petite.
I absolutely love the color and feel of the bra; it's so soft and comfortable! I am feeling confident that this brand as well as any other bra with similarly narrow cups is the way for me to go. I just need to pin my cup size down better! Read more 76 more words
My first impression of this bra was OH MY GOSH it is lovely and it is huge! I definitely overshot my size, moreso in this than the other bra. It is well constructed, and the band is firm so even though it was too big it didn’t really ride up. It’s so big on me that I can’t really evaluate what shape it gives. The wires are really narrow, and it’s awesome! All my other bras seem to want to shove my boobs under my armpits, but the Comexim encircle all my tissue and end where they should. I highly recommend this if you find yourself bothered by ...too-wide underwires in most brands. The appearance of this bra is just unmatched in my opinion. I don’t mind softcup bras as much as some, but this made me realize how much I missed lightly lined/padded cups. I can’t wait to get this in the right size. How it works with my shape: Being FOB means I need to size down a little bit. The plunge is great for being close-set. Nothing stabs or pokes. In the right size, this has potential to be a Holy Grail bra. Read more 86 more words
Wow, so it turns out Comexim plunges fit me just fine if I don’t completely overshoot my size, who would have guessed? This may be controversial, but I’m honestly beginning to wonder if the common idea that Comexim cups are way too tall and need to be reduced or otherwise altered for almost everyone is a bit overblown and may even be the result of people choosing sizes that are just plain too big.
30:7 is my general size range at the moment, so the general community advice for Comexim plunges with my frame and size range would be to size up one cup to 30:8 (65H) and ask for moved in straps and reduced cups. However, this 28:8 fits great and is in no way too tall or wide set in the straps. To my knowledge, it has no alterations.
It’s really pretty and I’m glad I found it, even though it’s aging a bit.
This is a very pretty bra that seems like it would be comfortable. I ended up with the wrong size due to a miscommunication with Anna at Comexim, so it is a bit too large in the band and cup for me. It gives a nice, round, uplifted shape. My breasts are close-set with a narrow root and a lot of immediate and center projection, but leaning towards FoT and full in the center. I feel like this bra suits my shape well, and would fit me nicely in a 70M. The straps are a little too wide for my narrow shoulders, but not as bad as my Cleo Marcie.
It is brand new, never worn (just tried on for a few minutes), but did not come with tags. The band is quite stretchy, so it fits like a UK 34J or a tight 36HH. The straps are fully adjustable, but they are also quite stretchy, so they may not be best for a really petite person.
I had lusted over this bra for months before eventually emailing the company hoping for sizing assistance. I gave them my measurements and she suggested I try a 60H... I was afraid the bra was going to be far too large for me, but in the end it was the opposite! Way too small, center gore can't lay flat and there's quadboob.
I'm bummed that it doesn't fit because it's a gorgeous and well-made bra!
The Green Velvet bra is absolutely gorgeous. However, it was WAY too small for me! I calculated my EU size to be about a 65K or L, but based on all of the Bratabase reviews for this bra, ordered an H (and a 65HH in Nadin) because people said it ran very large. This was not true for me. It was so small, it literally only fit like half of my boob. I had quadboob so bad, my nipples weren't even covered by the bra and I was spilling out of the top and middle. I am very excited about trying it in the correct size, as it is a well-made, beautiful bra with narrow wires that I need.
This was my first 26 band, but I was disappointed with how loose it was (even though I measure ~24" very tightly). Within a couple of days, I was wearing it on the tightest hook, and now it is still too big. I like the narrowness of the wires, but there does not seem to be quite enough bottom projection. Also, I think I have too much center fullness which pushes the high(ish) gore away. I haven't completely ruled out that it is too small, but I think it mostly the shape. It is a gorgeous bra though, so I'm willing to overlook the fit issues https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />.
i love all things green. the first time i saw this bra months ago, i knew i had to have it. it's beautiful!
this is my first true foray into the 28 band world, and i think it was probably long overdue. the first time i wore it there was a slight ache in my back, but i wore it for the second time for most of the day yesterday, and there were no problems. it feels like i'm not even wearing a bra!
the sizing was a little weird - i normally use my leaning bust measurement of 38" but that put me in a size too large. ...if you're looking at their measurement table, i think the best way to do it is to take your usual band size (60 = 28, 65 = 30 etc) and use a bust measurement that isn't your largest one (for me, standing rather than leaning).
the velvet flocking is pretty but if you're wearing a thin, tight shirt it shows up sort of lumpily through the fabric. the cups are quite tall as well, so you might want to be careful with low cut necklines.
i got more projection out of this bra than even my EM bras - i felt like it made my boobs look bigger, actually, which is not something i usually go for, but there's a time and place for everything, i suppose. the profile from the side is very uplifted and perhaps slightly less round than my EM bras, though that may have something to do with the fact that the cup shape isn't quite as well matched for me. if you were to mentally divide your breasts into four quadrants, my upper-center quadrants are the most full, followed by lower-center, upper-outer and lower-outer. there's a bit more room in the upper outer quadrant of the bra than i can fill, though it's not visible (i can just feel it).
all around a wonderful bra, and the customer service at comexim is incredible. i'll be ordering from them again for certain
