  1. Magic Plunge Bra (455)

This bra is gorgeous! The photos of just the bra (not the ones of me wearing the bra) are closer to the actual color. It's a really gorgeous cool, green shade. I ordered this directly from Comexim (via email), though this version of the Jade (without the lace) is available through Wellfitting now. The band is definitely snug on this one, but I've found that to be the case with all of the "silky" fabric Comexim bras I've owned (this is nowhere near as tight as the Angelina or Basic though!). I do wish it had 4 rows of hooks instead of 3, but I'll just need to ... wear it with an extender for a little bit. I'd actually requested 4 rows of 2 hooks, but did not get that alteration on any of the bras I ordered. The only alteration that was actually made to this bra was that I had the straps moved in 2cm. I have very narrow shoulders so I find that this alteration works really well on me. This is going to be a great basic bra since the seams are fairly smooth and the bra is super comfortable. It's definitely my favorite out of the new Comexim designs! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Wow! I love this shade of green. You don't see it too much in the lingerie world.

    • The bra is gorgeous. I love the color. I can tell by looking at it that it wouldn't work for me though. It has the same top as the s syrena I have"/
Do you know what the reason is for four rows of hooks instead of 3 or 2 even. Sometimes I randomly find I get 4 rows and sometimes 3 with the same exact alterations on bras. Only difference was one bra was a 50 band and one was a 55.

    • girl333 I'm not sure about the rows of hooks with Comexim. I have some that have 4 rows of 2 and then some that have 3 rows of 2. I wish that they would do 4 rows of 2 like EM bras since many Comexims run tight.

    • 1

And thanks! Yes, the color is stunning! Comexim should do more green bras! :)

    • RebelGrrrrl I wouldn't say that they run tight as much as they run in cms +10cms. When you convert it that way the bands make more sense and run more TTS. I can't remember where I read that the first time though.

    • girl333 Most of my Comexims are TTS, but there are a few that when measured are .5" or more shorter (all of my Comexims are 75 bands). This one is actually really similar to many of my Comexim bands (measuring 24" unstretched), but the fabric is a lot less stretchy than some.

    • 1

most of mine run small, but I need them to. My sonia was REALLY small though it was crazy. Usually mine are 25 or 25.5 inches and they're 55 bands. 75 bands would be 33.46 if you add 10 cm than convert to inches. So see what I mean? They're supposed to run about that small.

    • 2

Oh, so this is possible to order a bra without a lace? If so, this is a marvelous information :D

      Looks gorgeous!

    • 2

Woowww very beautiful! This is a giant WANT for me now šŸ˜ Thanks for reviewing!

    • 1

Piotrusss Yes! I emailed Comexim asking for the "new green" bra and attached the picture they posted on Facebook :) Wellfitting has just added a bunch of styles with this fabric too - http://wellfitting.com/collections/large-cup-full-bust-plunge-bras?page=2 (though the bow looks a little bigger/different on Wellfitting's website).

bubblegum You're welcome! :D Yes! It might be my new favorite bra :)

    • 1

girl333 Yeah, that makes sense. I just find it annoying that some Comexim bras I need to wear an extender and others I'm already wearing on the middle hooks. I love Comexim, but I don't find them to be consistent with their bands. Maybe that's just me though :)

    • 1

RebelGrrrrl I don't think i't just you. They aren't consistent at all with their bands. My 50 band is larger than my 55 band. I need an extender for the 55 band and the 50 band is perfect. They just make more sense when you use CM plus 10. They're still crazy inconsistent. Even within the same bra and size. I bought a beauty in a 60K expecting to take in the band. I got super lucky and the MAX stretch was 25. So I didn't have to take it in.

    • 1

Oh Looooord ! I was wondering if I should order one of the new design of Weellfitting and I just had my answer ... OF COURSE. I need one of them ^^The color is just gorgeous.

This bra is really pretty in person! The colors are super bright and fabric is silky and soft - much softer than some of the other Comexims I've owned. I ordered this through Zathiya and had some alterations made to it - I had the gore raised to 3", the straps moved in 3cm, and the cups reduced. The bra fits but does not feel very supportive. The band is EXTREMELY stretchy. It's possibly the stretchiest Comexim band I've ever tried. And the straps are also insanely stretchy. For these two reasons I am uncertain as to whether or not I'm going to keep it. I can't return ... it to Zathiya because of the customizations, but I may decide to list it on here.

The other thing I noticed is that the wires are much wider on this bra. It doesn't affect the fit on me but I was surprised to see this on a Comexim bra.
Also, there is a very slight odd smellā€¦. kind of like plastic. Not sure what that is. You can't smell it unless you put it up to your nose ā€¦ but I'm weird and smell bras/clothing when they come in the mail lol.

    Cons:
    Very stretchy band
    Very stretchy straps
Cups too low (I really shouldn't have gotten reduced cups, but I was experimenting with customizations and fit)

    Pros:
Vibrant Colors (really a great summer bra!)
    Soft, Comfortable fabric

My Dottie has a rather stretchy feeling band and straps as well. The band while feeling stretchy is pretty TTS, and can feel a bit tight at times, I think the elastic is less stretchy than the fabric portion of the band. The straps are mildly irritating because I have to adjust them a couple times throughout the day, but since they are easy to adjust it doesn't really bother me.

    • I wonder if the straps are the same - the Dottie had bright pink straps too, right?

The band feels TTS on this one too - and it doesn't ride up on me at all. I think I'm just used to bands that are more firm. I feel like the band would be comfortable on meā€¦ but I know the straps would drive me crazy. I always hated adjusting the ones on my Free Time bra constantly.

    • 1

Yes the straps on Dottie are bright pink as well. They are narrower than straps on most my other Comexim's as well 1.4cm compared to 1.8cm on others.

    • 1

I just looked at the photo of the Mixed Colors and they look like the exact same straps.

    • I've just listed the bra for sale here: http://www.bratabase.com/listings/di7w7/

    • 1

For a while Comexim's bands ran a bit small and I almost feel like each order I placed ran tighter than the last) but the most recent ones people have been getting seem to be running much more true to size or even large in some cases

But I really like how the bra looks much more than I did in the stock photos! The stock photos almost gave it a swimwear vibe

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 That's what i thought too based on their website photos.

I wonder if you could ask for textured straps instead of those awful slippy ones instead.

    • gratiat - I think you can ask for different straps. I forget who it was but I remember a Bratabase user saying that they'd made that request before.

I probably should have done that with this bra since I prefer their less stretchy straps with the texture on them.

    • 1

I'm not sure if you're thinking about reordering and trying again, but if you are I think the straps from Allegra (grey) or Mint (seafoam/mint) would work well with the other colours in this bra.

    • 2

I got the dark green straps from Lilou on this bra. It's a no charge swap.

    • 1

Omg. I love the colors. I wish. Ordered it now. I ordered the snake, and didn't want 2 similar bras.
      Too bad it doesn't fit.
The band on my Eris seems stretchy although I'd consider it tts.

    • 1

Does it have only one layer on the band? If yes you can request to add the extra layer of mesh - I did that with my last order as I have Sonia with 1 layer and I hate it comparing to other bras. Also yes, the straps can be changed for any that you wish :) and im the opposite as I hate the textured ones and I love the soft ones and i never had to adjust them while wearing - maybe some of you just tighten them too much so they just trying to adjust themselves to the length properly?
Btw looks cute but I know that I won't choose this bra with my next order - too much is happening on the bra ;)

This bra is so pretty! I love the coral/pink colored bow and straps (even though they are very stretchy!) with the pink/multi-colored snake print. It's a really unique looking bra. I did have a few alterations made to this bra. Anna from Comexim told me that the Snake is normally cut like the Ginger with a lower goreā€¦ so I had the gore raised to 3 inches. I also had the straps moved in 2cm. By raising the gore on this bra it pretty much fits like all of my other Comexim Plunge bras. The fabric is a very soft, almost shiny fabric - I like the way ... it feels, but it does remind me a bit of bathing suit material (it's the same fabric as the new Comexim Mixed Colors bra). I'm not really a huge fan of this new fabric Comexim is using - I find that it feels a little cheap (even though this bra is way more expensive than some of their others bras). I love the pattern of the fabric and the colors though so I will be keeping this bra despite the fabric. The fit is also really good - The band fits perfectly and so do the cups. This bra will probably become one of my new favorite everyday bras since it is so comfortable https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra is so cute! I love the bright red plaid - which is definitely more of a pink red, than orange red. The band is very tight so I do need to wear it with an extender. I can close it without using one, but it feels uncomfortable after a couple hours. One or two more sets of hook would have been perfect. Which I did request the alteration of having a 2x4 hook closure, but only ended up with a 2x3 hook closure. I did have the straps moved it 2cm. I thought that this would help with the straps falling downā€¦ but for some reason it ended up making the cups feel more shallow or smaller. They still fit but it doesn't really give me the lift/silhouette that I like under clothing. It sort of flattens me a bit. Still, I do like this bra. It will just probably end up being my work or travel bra and not one that I wear everyday.

  5. Sonia Half Cup (406)

After trying this bra in a plunge in 65G and it being too small in both the band and the cup, I saw a listing for the half cup model in 75G. Knowing that Comexim half cups generally require you to go up a cup and that based on the fit up the plunge I would need 2 cups larger for the half cup. The band on this does run a bit small which is why I took a chance on going 2 band sizes up. I love this bra and was so upset by my plunge that I got first not fitting, I ... do plan to order another Sonia since I think I will want to wear this frequently and it should work decently as a nude alternative. If I do order another one I will probably get a 70H (the 70 to help increase the lifespan of the band) in the half cup and if I try a plunge again I will try 70G. I would also request the straps moved in as they are a bit too wideset, although it might not be as much of an issue in a smaller band.

On another note, I had not yet sold the panties I had got with the 65G, I mistakenly ordered a small instead of a medium. I decided to hang on to them since the 75G fits and while being a bit snug they aren't uncomfortable, a medium would probably be a better fit but the small will work.

I was told prior to swapping for this bra that some stitching was missing along the band. I have restitched those areas and the band fits better since it was just a bit big.

I've also worn this under some light colored fitted shirts and I can't really notice the bra through the shirt so it is exactly what I had hoped for, a very pretty nude alternative. Now I'm regretting not adding another Sonia to my most recent Comexim order. I did order the Elena as a 2 seam half cup and am hoping it works out as good as the Sonia.

This is probably my favorite bra, and I need to order another because I always want to wear this one, it's so pretty and such a good fit, I love it.

Update, after trying several sizes of 3HC I can confidently say that this bra is incorrectly sized. I tried ordering in a sister size 65HH since I usually wear a 65 band they were a bit too big in the cup and the band was quite small. I placed another order and got a 70G, which fits and I also swapped for a 65H which is a perfect fit.

This adorably pastoral bra is luxurious and and beautiful in person. It feels expensive and was very comfy. The band is insanely stretchy and supportive and the straps didn't cut in. Sadly this Comexim bra was one perfectly floral 3-part cup size shy of perfection. I'll shoot for a 75H next time.

    • 1

Thank you! Calluna I bought mine from Poshmark .

    • Is 34F your normal UK size? If so, definitely size up. My friend is a 34F and got her bras (3HCs) in 34 H. That said, plunges tend to fit bigger than 3HC so 34GG UK would be like 75J I think. But judging by the amount of spilling, Iā€™m not sure if you need to go up that much. Sorry for the confusion. Itā€™s tough because Comexim is scaled by 2cm per cup size increase instead of an inch which is 2.4cm. So cups are going to fit small. And the cup progression is EU so they have no double letters except for HH instead of I. So the bigger size you are, the bigger the cup increase youā€™re going to need.

    • It looks a little bluer here, but this is it. Bottoms are also available. braluv has one of these if you wanna switch your data to the proper bra.

I was just trying these bras based on my measurements and to get a starting point. I have lost 20 lbs in the past 6 months and trying to re-figure my bra size. I am not sure my regular UK size. I do understand your point and appreciate your input. If I use index sizing. I may be 34:8, 34:9, or 34:10, would you agree?

    • 1

Thanks again Calluna I corrected it when you informed me the first time :)

    • Are your measurements on your profile up to date? Iā€™m guessing that you probably need the equivalent of 34:10 in this but 34:9 might work with a little oomph spilling. šŸ˜‚

    • Edit: I misread the index size. I think maybe a 34:9 index would fit.

    • I just updated my measurements today actually. Not sure how that translates into my index size.

    • 3

I would size up one, but probably two cup sizes in this. You can buy this at breakout bras if you live in the us and they have a great returns policy and good customer service.

    • 1

Agreed with cupandahalf you might be able to get size help from them too.

OMG. I LOVE this bra! It is gorgeous and so unbelievably soft. It might be my softest Comexim ever. It feels like I'm wearing Pajamas! I ordered this through Zathiya and it came with 4 rows of 2 hooks, which is great for me. The band is one of Comexim's stretchier bands. The white is not super white due to the cups being made of a red fabric, but it doesn't bother me and the bra still looks super pretty. I have read some reviews that say that the red bleeds when washing so I will update my review after I wash it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" ... alt=":)" />

Update: After washing this bra for the first time I don't feel like the red color bled at all. I washed it in a Victoria's Secret Lingerie Bag (as much as I dislike their bras, I love their lingerie/bra bags lol) and the bag still looked white - not pink or anything! My washer (I live in an apartment) has limited options. So I washed it on "Woolens" (which runs for about 24 min and is cold water). Normally I would have done "Delicates" but I don't have the option to change the temperature on this washer (I did in an old apartment) so it's always set to warm. So yeah. The bra still looks great and it didn't bleed! Yay! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This beige basic runs a bit smaller in both band and cup than the other Comexim plunges I've tried. In my measurements it was only about a quarter inch on each.

I ordered this with straps moved in and reduced cup height. I have a bit of gaping near the gore, which bothers me a bit because it sometimes creates a bulge in clothing. I have splayed breasts, so this gore may be too short and narrow for me. I will try ordering a higher gore next time.

I'm a UK 32F-ish and a 70F/75E in Ewa and I think this is the right size for me. I generally have to size up in non-Polish bras because my boobs are so projected, so it was difficult figuring out my size because I don't have to do that here.

This bra does a good job as a "t-shirt bra" except under close-fitting stretch fabric.

  10. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

This bra is gorgeous and gives a great, uplifted, rounded silhouette under clothing. I wasn't sure what size to order, but Amelia from Wellfitting suggested this size as we have the same measurements and she wears a 75G in Comexim. It's slightly too big, but I'm not sure if a 75F would fit or be too small. The band is perfect, I usually wear 32/70 but a 70 in this would have been far too snug. Slightly visible seam under thin shirts, but much less visibility than I was expecting. I might try this in a cup size down just to see, but overall I'm very happy with this!

  11. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

This bra has a lot of alterations to it, some of which worked for me and some that didnā€™t. The cups are reduced height, which doesnā€™t really suit me, but I like that the straps are moved in and that the cups are lined in soft jersey cotton. This is theoretically a sister size to a size that works for me, so I was a little surprised that it doesnā€™t fit well. The cups are way too small, which makes everything very uncomfortable.

Update now that I'm in a larger size and still have the bra. I am currently between a 32FF/G and a 34F/FF after some weight gain. This comexim bra now fits close to perfectly. My larger breast wants to quad right after swoop and scoop but settles in (I really have too soft of tissue for the comexim plunge cut, but in this case a size down from what I technically measure at means I can get away with it). I would say the bra (after band sproinging, which took a few wears) fits like a loose 32FF. I have narrow roots and even then the wire just ... barely is wide enough to avoid sitting on tissue (on the bigger breast, it does creep onto it just a little).

    ------

I finally got ahold of a Comexim! I was ordering from Well-fitting, and since the size their calculator said I should get was the only size in stock on this clearance bra, I decided to try their recommendation. (I have been wearing 30G - 32FF (UK) with a tiny bit of quadding in both sizes.) This fit spot on perfectly for the first 3 wears or so. Then the back stretched to needing it on the mid or tightest hook, and the cups did a weird stretchy thing where I get gaping on the inner plunge area.

The weirdest problem I have with this is that the top elastic of the band seems too loose, while the bottom elastic cuts in painfully. I love this bra, though - finally wires that fit me! Unfortunately it is a little lumpy under shirts and the gaped edge tends to be very visible. The lace also started pilling about two months in. I will definitely continue trying to find my perfect Comexim fit, though! This gives me hope.

This bra has many alterations! Cookie pockets, reduced cups, straps moved in, and an extra row of hooks for a total of three hooks. There is lots to love about this bra: the pattern is gorgeous, the cookie pockets make the inside wonderfully soft, and the extra row of hooks make the band particularly stable. Itā€™s actually a very comfortable bra, and it looks great when worn. Unfortunately, it doesnā€™t technically fit me. I tried the 75 band because some of my 70s felt a bit snug, but the 75 is way too big on me. Iā€™m not sure how much is general variation in the sizing due to the fabric type and the handmade nature of each bra, and how much is just that Iā€™d be better off with the nonexistent 73 band. At the same time, the cups are too small and shallow, and cut in sharply despite the cup height reduction. I love so much about this bra, I wish it worked for me!

I absolutely love the look of this bra, but it digs in under the breasts so I'll post a fit check.

My first comexim was the Basic in 75H. When it arrived about a year ago it fit great, but everything I've ordered since then has had a bit too stretchy of a band. Also, I've reduced in cup size. I think I've come to the realization that I am a 70G, perhaps 70F, now (I have an order en route from Comexim as we speak which will be telling. When this model popped up for sale here in a 70G I couldn't resist buying, because Comexims rarely pop up on bratabase in my size range.

The band on this model is the stretchiest yet, even stretchier than Nadin which ... is known to run large in the band. It's on the last set of hooks and still fits loose. I did buy this used which could explain the looser fit... To a certain extent. To be fair, my new Comexim with a 70 band is still on the way, so this is just the fit compared to my Basic in a 75 which is quite tight by comparison (I still wear that on the first row of hooks). Oddly enough, the band doesn't seem to ride up, nor does the looseness seem to detract from the overall look and profile. I will thus wear this baby as long as I can get away with it!

My friend asked me to get her this one from Poland.. she didnt want to believe that Comexim sizing is different than the UK. Shame I didnt see her face when she got the bra in her hands!
Overall, as most of you who had this bra, knows that is so pretty and soft. Also it has 3x3 hooks and eyes, also I believe it runs tts however, not my size (is at least 2 cups too large on me). I still hope that one day ill get one in my 70F (or sister size at least)!

This bra is shallower than the @Comexim plunges of the same size. Gore doesn't quite tack, and it's really more of a half cup style.

That's because it is a half cup. It's not a plunge. It's a 3 part designed half cup. The HCs are shallower at the apex but more immediately projected than the plunges. I love this bra just never have made it a priority for my closet.

I love the floral print on this bra, it's so pretty. I find Comexim bras to be extremely comfortable, especially as I ordered with the straps moved in--this was the first from the order I tried on and I was shocked by the feeling of a bra NOT sawing my arms off which I'd gotten so used to. It is SO nice.

This bra probably has the worst gaping of the 3 I ordered, since it doesn't run small like the Basic and it doesn't have the ribbon on the edge like the Irish Coffee. If you need room near the gore, Comexim plunges should be great for you! I found myself trying to scoop my breast toward the gore to fix the problem, but it actually turned out that moving them toward the apex of the cup fixed the problem better.

This bra is GORGEOUS and one of my favorite bra designs ever. I was lucky enough to order it just before they stopped making it.

I ordered with straps moved in and reduced cup height. If I could order it again, I might get a 70H, especially so it could last longer. It gapes a bit toward the gore, I think because the gore is too short and narrow for me. Luckily because it's Comexim, I can order a higher gore on my next bras and hopefully it'll help.

Great padded plunge bra - but too small in the cups for me. Band 75(34) fits perfectly 72cm ribcage (Comexim makes bras with tight bands and don't follow +inches method). The underwires are quite narrow so I wouldn't recommend it to a person who prefers wider wires.

Comexim bras are nicely designed and much better quality then Ewa Michalak.
