  1. Charme Plunge Bra (415)

This bra is gorgeous and the nude color under the mesh is perfect for lighter skin tones. The bra fits me pretty well, but the lace/ribbon at the edge makes it a bit fuller coverage than I had hoped for. I did order this with reduced cups and straps moved in, and I think that the alterations were done because if I measure to the cup edge and not the edge of the lace/ribbon it measures similarly to my other Comexims with reduced cups. I also ordered the matching thong in medium and requested it to be made a bit lower lower rise, this I believe ... was done because I tried it on over another pair of Comexim panties in the same size and it does sit lower. I think I may be listing this though because while it is beautiful and a decent fit, I don't think it will get a lot of wear since it is more full coverage than I prefer. I'm glad I got the 70 band though because this does run a bit small making to just under 30 inches before wires begin to distort. I would say it fits more like a 65H than a 70G.

I do have this listed, but if no one is interested I may sew the lace/ribbon trim piece down to make it lower coverage.

    • how can you tell if the wires are distorted? I like to wear my bands tight, now I wonder if I am ruining my wires.

    • 1

When you input measurements there is a notation you can pull up next to stretched measurement and it explains it. Basically its when the wires start to move when you stretch the band. I looked at your profile and some of the your bras and from what I can tell it doesn't look like your bands are tight enough to be distorting the wires. I'm between a 30/32 so had I gotten this in a 65 it would have fit more like a 28 and that would most likely not have worked for me.

  2. Kameleon 2 (396)

Itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, orange leopard spot bikini!

Well, the Kameleon 2 is not itsy-bitsy (it's as full coverage as you'd expect from a Comexim plunge), but it is a spotted animal/jungle pattern. It's about as neon and wacky as it looks on the Comexim website. For some reason, the color tones and pattern remind me of a picture made in MS Paint...in a good way!

It is what it looks like: a swim version of the standard Comexim plunge. The cups run true to the other 70Gs I have, with good center projection and narrow wires. Cup and gore height are comparable to other 70G Comexim plunges: fairly tall cups ... that are not for the short-rooted, and a tall-for-a-plunge gore. Band is a bit loose but no more than the band on my 70G Free Time (the stretchiest band in my collection), but both are fairly standard 32s, if a bit on the looser side. I could probably wear a 65H, but I like not having the sides of my back pinched together. Bottom line: if you are concerned about the band being tight on the Kameleon 2, don't be. If anything, it runs a bit loose.

It has a typical one hook swim clasp in the back, which I think is metallic. The clasp and other hardware are silver.

I also got the Kameleon 2 bottoms in a Medium, and they do run a little large, which surprised me since I was really just hoping they wouldn't be too tight. There's no sagging, but the material is very lightweight and I am not sure I'd trust them to stay on in the water. For reference, I'm about 40" at the hips and generally a size 6-8 US in bottoms. And, since they don't show it on the website, the back of the bottoms is all jungle print, no orange.

Update 8/4/2015: I took this set on vacation with me and wore it to swim in on multiple days, a few hours at a time. It was just splashing around, nothing intense, but the bottoms stayed on beautifully and the band didn't loosen (I hand-washed it and dried it after every swim). Hands down the most comfortable swimsuit I've ever owned. I haven't noticed the colors starting to fade at all yet, either.

    • Thank you for the description of the back of the bottoms! I don't know why websites don't show the backs of their products. They've already got the model, product, photographer, and lighting. Why not shoot the back view as well?

  3. Joy Half Cup Longline (379)

    1
    like

    70G

    Didn't fit

The anticipated longline! Silky soft material on the outside, standard Comexim cup material on the inside. This is my first Comexim half cup, so I can only compare to the plunges. As expected, the cups are slightly wider and flatten my boobs inward a bit compared with the same size in a plunge, but they are still contained (soft tissue!). The florals are bright and airy (a vintage sort of print), the lace detailing is gorgeous, and the bows are a great match for the pattern colors. All in all, a gorgeous product.

Sadly, it does not work for me.

Problems: the band is loose, only has 2 columns ... of eyes (why???), and combats fiercely with my flared ribcage. The band stretches about an inch more at the top than at the bottom and middle (34 at the top, 33 at the bottom). My ribcage slopes the opposite way: narrow at the top at the underbust and wider directly afterwards where my ribs end. If your ribcage flares directly underneath your breasts, this could work to your advantage, but I would advise against this longline for anyone whose flare does not start for about an inch past your underbust. The band just rolls straight up; with this print, I can't stand the look of the crumpled band.

Now that I have seen the print on myself, I also find that I am not quite in love with it as a part of my wardrobe. I have to admit that I'm a bigger fan of darker, more geometric prints.

If you love the print but don't think the longline would work for you, there is a standard halfcup version on Comexim's website!

If you have no flare and your waist is smaller than your underbust, this longline could be an amazing and soft addition to your wardrobe.

    • Only two columns?! I wonder if they will do more as a customization...
I also wonder if they'd be willing to make it into a plunge, instead.

    • With all the other customizations they do, I don't see why they wouldn't add more columns. Of course, I wonder why they didn't do so in the first place...

    • I wish I had known about 1: the overly strechy band and 2: the two colums of eyes. Since I had mine made in a custom size (55H) I can't return it. It's still a stunning bra though.

  4. Free Time Plunge Bra (270)

I adore the toned-down colors and defined lines of this bra! No lace or frills on this beauty (the very unobtrusive bow between the cups doesn't count). The materials are sturdy, not luxurious (still comfortable, though), but that fits with the style of the bra. The bad is a true 32, not tight like my 70G - Comexim » Tropical Garden (191). Also, it comes up higher in the wings than the Tropical Garden., which is great since it covers a little more bulge that way. Cups are very nice and narrow as expected from Comexim, and the top curves in just enough to keep my boobs from escaping. Altogether what I want in a bra; I am in love!

    • Your review of the 70G basic is almost word-for-word what I would have written (I had to check and make sure it wasn't me!). It sounds like Free Time was better for you. How did you find the strap distance and projection around the gore in this compared to the Basic? Those are the same problems I'm having with it (I do love it overall though).

    • P.S. any alternative bra recommendations are welcome! Thank you :-)

    • Projection for the Free Time is decidedly better than the Basic, but that is partly due to the lower gore. It does run deeper at the gore; having pulled them both out and looked at them both while I'm wearing and off, I can tell there's more fabric. I don't get any quadding in this near the gore and the gore tacks just fine (it's not as hard a tack as I get in other brands, like Freya or Cleo). I like to contrast that with my Tropical Garden in the same size, which also has a lower gore than the Basic but tends to run a little shallower at the gore than the Free Time; I can get minor quadding in the Tropical Garden, but not enough to be a problem (it's still a bit deeper than the Basic).

Straps are ever so slightly wider set in the Free Time, though. Out of the three I own, the Tropical Garden seems to come in the narrowest near the armpits.

One issue with the Free Time that I have not experienced in any other of the Comexims I've tried so far: The ring that connects the straps to the band in the back is too large and does cause me occasional discomfort. My skin is obnoxiously sensitive, though.

My Free Time does run stretchier in the band than the Basic, so if you are borderline to loose in the Basic, I would size down to a 65H in the Free Time.

The Basic is still my best thin t-shirt bra because the fabric and seams are smoother than on the overlay lace style Comexims.

My only current recommendation other than the Comexims I own is the 32E Cleo Lily (possibly the 32F if you can tolerate a slightly wider wire, which die to ribcage issues I cannot). Projection is somewhat deeper, the straps are set slightly lower by the arms and narrower, and for some reason it's just more comfortable for daily wear. Gore is higher, though, if that causes any trouble for you.

    • Thank you for your detailed reply, that was so helpful!

Hmm, okay I want the color and no-show of the Basic, with the strap narrowness of the Tropical Garden, with the center projection of the Freetime. Kind of makes me want to custom order a Basic with straps moved in and lower gore, but I'm not sure a low gore would support the weight enough. I'll keep wearing the one I have and see how it wears.

I've been looking @ Cleo Lily a lot, considered buying a few times, but I am wary because looking at it again, the way the sides swoop up into the strap right by the underarm reminds me of the Panache Jasmine and Envy that I have. I haven't been happy with the shape of those - they've ended up too splayed and down-and-out for me, with the straps carrying a lot of weight and chafing. I think my breasts are closer together and heavier than those allow. Have you ever tried either of those on?

    • I haven't tried either the Envy or the Jasmine, though I have been curious about them. I don't know what the structure or materials of those bras are, but the Lily has a fairly stiff mesh that sort of forces me to the front (without being pointy, since I have the projection that it requires). Something in my head says either Jasmine or Envy has stretch lace, which if it's anything like the material on the Andorra I tried, wouldn't work for me.

    • So the strap distance on the Lilly really doesn't bother you? IDK why it looks wide to me, maybe the balconnette cut?

To answer Panache Q, they both do. Jasmine is single layer fabric all over, including stretch lace on top. Envy is double layer fabric all over, including the stretch lace portion. A greater % of the Envy cup is stretch lace, but it's much, much stronger than that on Jasmine (and Andorra, I'm told), thus I actually was able to size down a cup and get a perfect fit in Envy (my complaint about it being "down and out" was that its perfect fit only lasts 2-3 wears, then must be washed to restore it's support).

I bought this from Breakout Out Bras so the size tag says 32F but listed measurements as 70G EU. This is my best fitting bra. The cup width of 5.3” and depth at 8.7” is perfect. It does kinda flatten my breast from the side but it pulls everything front and center. This is my first unlined bra and I’m in love with how uplifted the vertical seams make my breasts look.

I ordered this from Breakout Bras in size 32F (70G EU). I’m still trying to nail down my Comexim size and think I need to go down a cup size in the plunge. The wire width is great but apex depth is greater than what I need causing gaps at the top of the cup.

    Hasn't set fit

My first Comexim purchase! I'm a 32F UK.

I ordered Ginger in 70G, 75G, 70H. After reading up I was supposed to have been an H or even HH after conversion and I was also super confused by some recommendations to size up in the band, the latter turned out to be correct -

75G - band feels most comfortable. But there was crinkling at the side of the cups (near tail of Spence) so I have to adjust the wire to straighten it out, and the band is also a little bit too close to my armpits. Also, there’s a little bit of gap on the cups.

70G - cups ... fit nicely on the bust with no gaps, but the side of the cups (near under arms) feels a little bit tight so I have to adjust the wire wider to fit properly. Band is probably too tight for me but not uncomfortably so.

70H - cups were simply too big, no way to make this work

I did not want to try a 75F because the return to Poland took extremely long (more than a month) and I do not have the patience for that plus bigger bands also tend to bother my armpits too much.

So I kept the 70G which will be the size I purchase from Comexim in the future.

This bra is so pretty! It has the molded look, although I'm never sure what the difference between lined, padded, and molded is. It seems good quality. I'm normally a 32E and this is a little too small. It might be projected enough for once, though. The gore is probably still slightly too tall. It's a nice bra, though.

This bra is a dream for immediate projection! Every since starting my journey to find better fitting bras, I haven't been able to wear any foam molded cups, until this bra. This bra also gives a great lift.

My only issue with this bra is that because the gore is close set and my breasts are wide set, the wires end slightly too short. I think the wire length is actually perfect for my roots, it's just the gore being close set that makes them end too early. I have this weird issue where my breasts are wide set, but I have narrow roots. So if I wear ... a bra with wide wires it's too wide, but if a bra is pretty close set, it will end up sitting on tissue. However, even though it's sitting on tissue it was not uncomfortable at all while wearing and I only noticed it was sitting on tissue because of a small dot on my outer tissue when taking the bra off.

I bought this bra secondhand to try a Comexim bra. I think I will order a custom one sometime soon and keep the cup reduction and closer straps, but ask for the gore to be 1-2cm wider. The size is basically perfect, but the seller told me that this style runs larger in the cup than other Comexim styles. I will most likely opt for a 65 HH or J when I custom order.

  10. Magic Plunge Bra (455)

So this bra actually fit really well, which threw me a little because I just recently outgrew my 70G - Comexim » Ginger Plunge Bra (365) , which upon closer inspection is 0.7 inches shallower than this one. This is my first time purchasing Comexim through BreakoutBras, and I bought this model in my most-recently-worn size purely because I was curious, it was on closeout sale, and there were no other sizes. It truly is a hidden gem in that respect, I had no expectations that it would fit at all. My Ginger in this size cuts in and feels way too tight as a result, but this bra has a much more comfortable band and roomier cups. It may actually be my favorite Comexim so far, which was definitely not what I expected.

This was my first attempt to order from Comexim with alterations: I asked to shorten and widen the gore by 2cm and to add cookie pockets. On the downside, it arrived without any alterations at all, so instead of the soft fabric lining used for cookie pockets it’s bare seams inside. On the plus side, my shape ended up changing within the next six months anyway, so the tall narrow gore worked out in my favor. The straps are also really cute and high quality, it’s a beautiful bra with blush lace overlay and is probably the most feminine thing I own.

This bra is SUPER stretchy. The band stretches almost 10"!! There is elastic on the armpit side of the cup and the fabric itself is pretty stretchy. It doesn't give the same perky rounded shape that my Coco does but it looks OK. Very comfy since it's so forgiving.

Actually love this bra. I have a lot of bras that sort of splay my breast tissue out to the side and this is very good at projecting them forwards. I bought this as part of my first foray into Polish bras and now I will probably never go back. I feel like the sizing runs on the small side, but even so very happy with it over all.

I really love the appearance of this bra, but it's definitely too small. The band fits without the cups in the way, so it's just too small/shallow. I was hoping to get away with it, and it's actually pretty comfortable for a short time, but after a while the cups start to get pushed down and it makes the band feel too tight. Would love to get this bra in a size that fits me, but I'm not really sure what that would be.
