    Hasn't set fit

Sorry for the long delay in measuring/reviewing this bra, but since there's no other data here for it yet, I've made myself stop being lazy. I was really torn about whether or not to keep this bra, tbh. It's very comfortable, but it's not a perfect fit. For starters, the band is HUGE for a 70 - I can stretch it to at least 34 inches and I'm pretty sure it could go a bit further without harming the bra. I expected the black fabric to be tighter, but this mesh must be super stretchy in general. I can wear it on the tightest hooks, but it still ... rides up a tad and I'm going to alter it as soon as I can find the time.

After getting several 70F Comexims that ran super small in the cups, I finally caved and got a G this time, even though past Comexim models have been too big on me in that size. Glad I did, because these cups seem to fit okay. There's some wrinkling, but I think it's down to the construction, not the sizing.

Speaking of construction, for an unlined, mesh bra this thing is shallow. I'm slowly trying to fix that by applying gentle pressure at the mesh just above the wires to stretch it out, but right out of the box it gave me a weird shape, kind of an upward slant rather than a curve out from the wires. I feel like the horizontal seam just isn't placed in the ideal spot somehow, or isn't at the right angle. The wings are also a bit high for my liking, but b/c the cups are so narrow it works fine for me.

Things I do love - the gore (low and narrow, gives me lots of space for inner fullness, so yay!), the comfy soft wires, how breathable the mesh has been for summer wearing, and how short-root friendly the bra is. The ribbon along the top edge is perfect for me, though it does tend to show under thinner shirts. I wouldn't think this bra would work for anyone too full-on-top.

All in all, I've decided to keep this one and just try to alter the band to fit better. I'm really amazed at how big it runs, so I don't think I'll be ordering the Moulin Rouge black version. I may take a break from Comexim in general for while, as I feel like they've been too inconsistent lately with cup/band sizing and not enough depth at the wire. This one wasn't really my style, but I did want to try their unlined bras and I have to admit mesh bras are super comfortable when it's hot out.

    • Thank you for sharing your experience with this stunning bra. Looks gorgeous on you! The "shallow at the wire" issue has been a big issue for my sister and me, too. In fact, 0 of 5 in her recent order fit. And, I could visual see the difference compared to her order of the same size one year ago. Sigh.

    • Thanks! Same, I just keep having to up cup sizes in this brand and it makes ordering such a huge gamble. Pity, b/c now that there's a purple version of this bra in the works I'm kind of tempted.

    • Love4Pollinators it's so frustrating! I see older reviews for their 3HCs that look SO DEEP, and none of the ones I've ordered have been the same. Luckily they still work okay for me (they get pushed down a little bit but not terribly), because I don't know what else to even try anymore. Most Polish brands are insanely difficult to get ahold of in the US.

Couple of months ago I was desperate to get fairly light bra that will work with my very pale skin. It is a challenge when your skin looks almost like a milk -_-. Obviously white bras are the worst and shows under white clothes, and then most nudes and beiges also are tiny bit too dark. Luckily Comexim realeased lovely Honey Cookie (as this is the original name!) in very pale beige, nude - call it whatever you want.
My recent Comexim orders are mostly bras made into 3HC as they give lovely round shape, small cleavage and fit me better than 2HC and plunges. Ive requested this ... bra to have straps moved in (which was done) and cookie pockets (which Comexim forgot to do....). When the bra arrived I was soooo annoyed. I was gapping half size on my smaller side and tiny bit on the larger side - my assymetry isnt very big. Ive requested cookie pockets as I needed 1 cookie on smaller side, and empty pocket just to minimise the depth so the larger boob could fit. I was going on and on with Comexim about this issue, however I didnt want to return the bra as I was in need for it, so I was just using EM pad under smaller side. Comexim finally offered to send me pads that can be attached even if you dont have pockets! nice solution, but actually pads doesnt stick that much to this certain bra. Recently my boobs grown a bit (I dont think i put on weight overall - maybe boobs only *_*). Now the bra fits without cookies and the bigger side has tiny quadboob. The bra is quite shallow but still little projected - thus probably I get these quadboobs. Wires are bit too wide - so i should bend them a little when Ill get it in my hands again.
Band is firm size 70 and even if im wearing it 3 days in a row I stay on the loosest set of hooks. Its very comfy, doesnt dig into my body and stay put on for the whole day.
As I have mentioned before, Ive ordered this bra as 3HC, so the lace ends little above the cup. After few wears and washes and with these small quadboobs it doesnt look very good, it just rolls out. I believe it should be replaced with a ribbon instead or the lace should end exactly with the cups. Also its worth mentioning that this bra wont work under very thin tops as the lace is thick and noticeable. Im okay to wear it under my white shirts and thicker tops but light tank tops shows the lace a lot.

Ive ordered also matching panties, theyre so cute! However there was no time to use them as im wearing mostly dark trousers and dresses, but when the summer will come Ill make a use of them!

Love this bra. This colors and the watercolor style I love. The silhouette under clothes is lifted. The cups are pretty stiff do it holds it's shape really well. Cleavage is great. It accommodates all of my center fullness. The underwires dig in to my ribs a little under the cups, but this is a common issue for me. I think my ribs are just much more flared than is average. I have long been resigned to the fact that any pretty details under the cups or on the band would be lost on me. As well as any longline that does not go long enough into my actual waist. Overall the best fitting bra I own.

  4. Gilda Half Cup (481)

I thought I took pictures and wrote a review a long time ago, but apparently not haha.
Wow!! I finally have another bra in my rotation!! Glad I decided to try to go back through and get everything I can to 100% haha.
The band is firm (for a 70/32?!?!) and fabrics fantastic. I get amazing uplift and cakes on a plate boobs. I never get a gore soft tacking, but basically one touches my sternum and the other twists and stands away from the chest, sitting a bit on a boob. Doesn't hurt though, what a miracle. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Speaking of comfort, this is shockingly ... comfy so far. Usually wires dig into my ribs immediately, but despite being too U shaped, it doesn't dig into my ribs!!
So with the wires, they're the right width but wrong shape. A bit too shallow and some empty space, but it's not uncomfy. Most of my breast tissue is sky high which is fine with me haha!
Straps were probably a bit tight, but I look hella good in this. Will try under shirts soon!!
I remember that at 116 pounds, there were cup gaps at the top edge, but now even when slouching it's fine, the lace trim just sticks up.
    Pretty, sexy, and supportive!!!

Edit after a day of work (lots of walking, lifting, and arm movements), the wires are sitting on the side of my breast and center gaps a lot. It's not uncomfortable, but clearly the band isn't holding the wires back behind my breasts tight enough to prevent them from slipping behind. I wore it on the loosest hook. Maybe I will have to do the middle or tightest. Maybe this 70 is too big even though it seems firm. Under my baggy sweater, you can't tell, but maybe under a tighter shirt you could see the extra bra fabric sticking out in the middle. Will have to wear again to test!

Clara, Clara, Clara….so much to say about you, and so much love for you.

Clara is extremely beautiful, and quite nostalgic for me actually. My first Comexim was a Victoria 3HC which exhibits a similar vibe with the navy lace and beige lining. While the Victoria was accentuated with eyelash lace details and the band in the shimmery beige, Clara maintains the navy band, and is accented with the scalloped lace over the cup edge. Personally, this is way more my aesthetic as I never felt too strongly about eyelash lace. This is overall a more navy lace bra than Victoria. Admittedly, while I have adored Clara since ... her reveal, she means even more to me now as I am in Pilates teacher training, and Clara was the name of Joseph Pilates’ wife.

This is the first 70G plunge from Comexim that I have tried, as I was 65HH for a while, lost weight and was a 70F (barely), and now with some weight gain back, I am on the edge of the 70G. For Clara, the G is adequate, as it is a little bit roomier than the other 70G I got. This one has a noticeably taller gore, which is a bit twisty…not the end of the world, but it’s floating as a result. This one has 4 columns of hooks and is perfect. The cup height is pretty spot on, and while I have a little gapping on my small side, it’s by the gore…so if it sat more flush or was shorter, I imagine that would be resolved. Straps are ok, but I would like to have them moved in still. Cup width is right at my root edge. A cup size larger would be too tall, but gained a bit more side coverage, but I followed the sizing suggestions from Breakout Bras to go one size up for soft tissue. This means that it is a little bit less side coverage. The only way to fix this is to customize the fit, but it’s still quite sufficient for an unaltered bra. I really love love love this bra. It makes me want to do a boudoir photo shoot.

I debated what size bottoms to get, and I chose the medium. The medium fits but having tried the next bra I got in medium and large, the larger size is a bit more comfortable with more rear coverage. They are both good, just different.

Omgooosshh, the fit looks really good on this!

    • Thank you so much BraOdyssey ! It’s just that little bit extra bigger or deeper or whatever that it fits. I’m kind of in between the 70G and 70H without any modifications.

    • 1

Nice! Without any alterations, looks good!

My first Comexims were the beauty half cup, and Victoria (2HC ?) And I believe I have one of these coming secondhand (not sure if it’s OG Clara or Clara 2) I love the aesthetic :) I have trouble with Comexim plunges, where If I size up appropriately the cups get too tall. I agree with loving the look of this one <3 it’s gorgeous

    • Thank you meganelaineshaw1 . I should probably get a 70H in this now as it is a little too small in 70G.

So I've seen this bra a lot and was never it's biggest fan, but when I was able to swap for it I decided to try it out. I'm now in love with it's look unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. I normally wouldn't try a 70G without reduced cup height, but I figured it has cookie pockets, maybe that will make it work for me. In addition to cookie pockets it has an overlapping gore. Full review on my blog.

This is a bra that totally underwhelmed me with the stock photos until I saw it listed on Breakout Bras final sale and the extra picture added, and then I realized it was actually quite a beautiful and delicate design, and definitely worth the $21. At this point I opted to go with a medium and a large bottom based on the fit of the Clara bottoms in medium, as they are cut in the same style.

I’m struggling to find the right word to describe the pattern of the print…it makes me think of something floral, but if it is, I don’t know what flower it is. ... The print is actually not white, as it looks, but rather a very very light blushy ivory. It’s super delicate looking, and it appears to be on black mesh over black foam cups, so I bet it would be awesome as a soft cup 3HC. The fit of this one is a little bit smaller than Clara is, and the wires border on being too narrow. The cups are also a little more closed on top than Clara. That said, for unaltered, this is probably the best size. I do wish it had the extra column of hooks, but it’s all good.

The large bottoms are more comfortable with more coverage in the back, but both sizes technically fit…it’s just personal preference for the larger ones.

      good choice, Calluna !

    • 1

Thank you BraOdyssey ! Comexim is great for the black bras that are far from boring. I’m really really tempted to get this as a soft cup 3HC.

    • This looks great on you. And that pattern is subtle but eye catching. It almost has an Art Deco vibe. I’m also between sizes in the bottoms. I usually go with the large because I also prefer the fuller coverage.

    • 1

Yeah it’s definitely an understated print, but I think you’re right about the art deco style. I think I’m probably just going to get the large in them but I can do a medium if it’s the only size available.

I got this bra a couple months ago, but haven't gotten around to reviewing despite really liking the bra. I don't know why, but I really like fancy neutral color bras whether it's something that could function as a "nude" or black and tan and I'm not sure why. Regardless, I really like the light brown with the beige on the Quail. I got this with my standard alterations 2cm reduced cup, 2cm reduced gore, and straps moved in 2cm. It ended up also having an overlapping gore, which doesn't see to be a bad alteration for me either, I can do without it, but I think I get a bit more cleavage from it, maybe. Quail also normally comes as a deep plunge, but I requested it as a standard plunge, since Ginger did not work well for me at all.

I have to second this comment ^

Can I ask how Comexim's thongs fare compared to, I guess, typical thongs? I've really only ever tried one from Hanky Panky, and it's so uncomfortable. :(

    • 1

Comexim's thongs are usually pretty comfortable, and sizing seems consistent on the panties even between thongs and briefs.

    • 1

amandafire thanks. I just ordered this bra as a 3hc and as the deep plunge. 😣
I absolutely LOVE the way this bra looks on you. So now I have to have it.
I also ordered the panties. Did you request the lace on the panties or it just came that way? I see they're not listed on Comexim's site.

    • 1

Gorgeous! When a Comexim with both a narrowed and overlapping gore arrives via mail, I will likely have my first fitting Comexim. And, Quail beckons me. Thank you for sharing her with us :-)

    • 1

Love4Pollinators back on the wired wagon, huh? ;)

amandafire i didn't want this bra until I saw it on you. It is beautiful and does indeed look like downy quail feathers.

    • 1

cupandahalf Just one wired bra would be lovely. Just one....is that too much to ask? Yep. ;-) ;-)

    • 1

Prettyncharmeuse the panties just came that way, I didn't really know what to expect, since they weren't on the website at all. I really like the panties though and they are very comfortable.

    • How funny! I have never noticed that the cut of my Small Quail is different to that of my other Comexim plunges! It does fit me slightly differently I suppose, but thankfully it's still a good fit.

    • I just got this and the 3HC version, and I definitely should have asked for it as the regular plunge.
I'm so glad you posted this review.

Oh gosh today is a good day! I was going to do some research for my dissertation but too much distractions around me. Firsty Ive received my costmetics and then my Comexim order arrived *_*
Ive ordered this gorgeous bra along with 70F - Comexim » Naomi Balcony Bra (418) . Its such beauty but! Id see the print and colour more as a sleeping top - oh dear I wish that comexim one day will produce them.. The style is so gently, like for a girl that just starting to wear bras *_* The top lace is a neon pink but looks gorgeous on the navy ... cups. However the bows are not matching at all, they would be much better in navy or same pink and the lace.
Ive got Veronique as a 3HC with straps moved in 2cm, 2 layers of fabric on the band, cookie pockets and narrower wires (that actually arent narrow..). I took this bra in size bigger than my usual Comexim size without any alterations and it actually fits pretty well.
First of all, straps are perfect - fully adjustable, my favourite soft fabric that is easy to adjust.
Secondly, the wires as I mentioned are bit on the wide set, however I may try to bend them in order to make the bra fits better and give more wow. Also, theyre little too high under my arms, but I think that is not a huge deal..
Cookie pockets also took a little from the depth of my size bigger than usual, and its helpful for the smaller side, or if I want to get more cleavage and thats the first comexims with such effect!
The band is on the loose side of Comexims in 70, as usually Its little tighter when used first time, but in this I can easily use 2 set of hooks out of 4. Its not a problem, as when wearing not too tight but well fitted band it wont stretch quickly. So the band is excellent for me.
The cup depth, only thanks to straps moved in and cookie pockets is good enough and theres no empty space inside.

So to conclude, bra is so comfy that I can forgive it this wide wires or simply try to bend them but then Im afraid that the cups depth will be too deep.. Im going to keep it for now and see how the EM order will work on me (yes! it will arrive next week *_*)

EDIT: Ive bended wires and they are much better now, however it caused tiny bit of empty fabric on the side but under clothes cant be noticed! Love the bra now !!!

This is the first bra that I have ordered directly from Comexim. It was in their black Friday sale and I am really happy with it. I love the colour. Mine looks like the model on Comexim's website, without the black lace around the top of the cups which I've seen some pictures of on here.

I had done quite a bit of research to try and identify which Comexim size would be right for me. I have another Comexim plunge in a 65HH which was a quite tight and slight too big in the cup so I settled for 70G. I think it works, in this model at ... least!

I requested for the gore to be lowered and overlapping as I am very close set so bras with a high gore sit on my tissue and cause discomfort. The gore is still slightly higher than I would have liked, however I can push the wires down a little inside their casings and it seems to make it fit nicely. I compared the gore on this to my Queen of Hearts Plunge and it is much lower. I also requested a 3 hook fastener as I find a thicker band to be more comfortable.

I am projected so I often find that bras which have enough depth in the cup have wires which are far too wide. These wires are narrow and seem to be just right for me and the cup has enough depth.

Overall, I love it and want more in the same shape. I haven't had it for too long so will have to wait and see how it holds up.

I think I like this fit, though I haven't worn it all day yet.

But the straps are so stretchy. They feel unsupportive. If I tighten them, the cup wrinkles and collapses a bit near the strap as shown. Even then they dont feel quite right. The wrinkling isn't a huge issue, but still annoying. Possibly indicates a fit issue.

Common with Comexim bras, or maybe it's just this model? I just tend to buy what I see for a good price

    • I think the Comexim straps with the embellishment on them tend to be pretty strong. I've read Comexim has various straps, some of which are better than others.

    • 1

cupandahalf is right - not all Comexim straps are made equal. When I get one with too stretchy straps, I've been buying plush elastic from Amazon and sewing it to the strap to make it wider and/or less stretchy.

    • Interesting, thanks!

    Didn't fit

If you can't tell from my recent purchases, I have a little obsession with beige bras. So when I saw Comexim came out with this bra, I had to spring for it. This bra is beautiful--softer than a whisper, practically invisible on light skintones. However, I have some issues with the design.

First off, the band runs a full size small. This 70/32 only stretches to 29.75 and I have to use an extender. Definitely order a sister size up.

Secondly, the straps are placed extremely wide. Placing them where they should be makes them practically at the edge of my shoulders. And this is only a :7 ... cup size--I assume due to scaling this gets worse as the cup size gets higher. I would definitely recommend asking them to move the straps in (I ordered it unaltered).

The band is very thin, and the combination of a thin band and narrow wires means I have a big back roll above the band. This would probably be fixed by asking for 3 hooks.

The wires, typical of Comexim, are very soft. This is both good and bad. Because of this, the gore stands a bit away from my chest at the top. However, they are extremely comfortable.

The shape is a very natural, teardrop-like shape. If you have more top fullness you may find it more round, but for me it does little to disguise my lack of fullness on top.

Onto the good--the cup is very projected including great immediate projection. The bra is very light and comfortable.

I expected this bra to be more closed on top than the previous Comexim unpadded bra I'd tried because of the lace trim, but it's still very open on top. It is a little loose on me, but would be great for anyone with top fullness.

I would recommend this bra for small to medium, projected, even or FOT breasts. I would not recommend it for FOB especially empty on top breasts, those with center fullness as the low, soft, narrow gore may not separate your breasts, and very large breasts as the wires may be too soft to be supportive and the straps may be placed too wide on larger cups.

    • How does it fit compared to their padded plunges?

    • I'd say the shape is similar as they're both open on top but it's larger in the cup. I usually wear a 70H in their padded bras.

    • It looks beautiful on you!! You look ethereal :-)

I received this from another Bratabase user.
I've been lusting over the Georgia for a while, but I haven't been able to dish out the $70 or whatever Wellfitting is asking.
Initially, I didn't read measurements properly, because well, things I do.
I considered that it may fit regardless since ot has reduced cups.

This bra has reduced cups, lowered gore, and 3×3 hook and eye closure.

Fabric isn't a shiny satin-y like I'd hoped, but it has a fairly silky feeling.
The cup tops are edged with velvet, and a velvet bow is included in the center.

I actually really love the customizations on this, and would consider requesting the same in 65G.
The ... 70 band was something I was taking a swing at, and I do have to hook on the tightest hooks, and it rides up slightly.
The left cup on my bigger boobs almost JUST fits, especially with tightened straps, whoch aren't painful like on my Joy 65H when I tighten them.

Only problem is, then the band rides up even more.
I think it'd be ok in reality, since the band is much longer than usual. What concerns me most are the gaps in the sides of the cups. If that part was reduced also, this would fit.
It will fit in 65G, I just have to hope that Wellfitting has them when I have more cash.

Comfort level is high. These cups feel a lot more plushy and soft than my other Comexims somehow. No thicker.

Not sure what else to say since it doesn't actually fit. If I keep it I'm going to attempt to alter the band. I think that might help.
I also get lift regardless of it being too big, it's just that there's empty space up top..

Overall, not totally what I expected appearance -wise, but it is super pretty regardless.

I'll be adding measurements and new photos and listing this shortly. :, (

    Unless....Ewa pads.o_o
Ok, I might cheat. But probably going to list it.lol

Sidenote: wasn't sure whether or not to check "alterations" in the measurements section. I mean, it's customized, but not "altered", but still, I'd imagine measurements will be slightly differeny for the regular version.

Is this exclusive to Wellfitting? Maybe you can get it direct. Because WF is pricey.
Try the pads, but would you take the band in?

It is pretty, is it more teal or green in person? If you end up listing it let me know. My mom is a 70G and she loves jewel tones.

jlcl119 Yeah, I think Comexim is out :( I got this from another user because Wellfitting is just mad expensive. They have the 30G, but..that price.lol
Tried the pads and they helped, but I just can't keep it.

It's more of a teal imo. I see it as one of the 3 circled here:

I just listed it, so you've got dibs if she wants it :D

      Thanks! I'll ask her tonight.

Comexim has the Georgia bottoms on their site. It may be worth emailing them about the bra.

    • 1

jlcl119 Ok :D and yay! I'll send an email when they get back from vacation and see ^_^ their prices are much more affordable lol

Georgia is beautiful! Im sorry it didnt work out :( It sucks when something is only offered by super expensive Wellfitting :( I would also email to ask if they could make it! Because i dont think it used to be an exclusive!

Ive also been wondering about marking the altered button! Should we, shouldnt we?! So far i have been doing it because ive noticed the measurements do change a bit depending on which alterations are performed! I wish there was an easier way to keep track of the differences though.

    • 1

gogobee It's ok :) I'm ordering a replacement for my Joy, so definitely going to ask about the Georgia then as well :D

Yeah, I checked it first and then unchecked.
I'm feeling I ought to check it again so it doesn't skew the measurements for normal orders. D: I think you've got the right idea :)

    • 1

It doesnt seem to me like many others check it!

    • 1

gogobee That may explain a lot of differences in sizing. Hmm..
Now I think I'm definitely going to check individual bra data pretty thoroughly :o

Fit is great, just a little bit of wrinkling on the top of the cups, but I generally have trouble filling out the top on most bras, and the embroidery on this one makes it less noticeable. The embroidery is a little scratchy at first, but softens up with washing. I had no issues adjusting the straps, the embroidery does come up them a ways, but on me it ends before the top of my shoulder.

I will say, my main complaint about this bra is that the plastic rings attaching the straps to the band in the back are very squeaky. My partner says he doesn't notice unless I point it out, but to me it seems pretty loud and can make me a little self-conscious.

The bra is beautiful and I love the screen print design. The cups are a bit lower coverage than other 3HC's of the same size. It does have a reduced and overlapping gore. I love the bra but since it is lower coverage it causes a bit of quadding for me, if it was regular cup height I would probably wear it all the time.

This bra looks very similar to the Comexim Burgundy I own, but the difference is huge, in a positive way. The fabrics are so soft and feel smooth, while my burgundy bra ribs the skin a little. Overall the quality of this bra is much better than that of the burgundy. The band is larger than I expected. Comexim bands run small and I found the 65 band of my burgundy too tight at first, but this one is rather stretchy. It works fine on the 3rd hook.
The cup size works great for me and I think I've finally found my true size. The cups are really shallow vertically in the bottom and push up the breasts because of this. It moves my high set tall rooted breasts really up high. I like the shape it gives me. I don't wear open necklines, so it's not a problem for me, but it could be for some and would probably work best for normal to low set breasts.

So happy to find a better fit in this style! Previously had (well, still have, but it's listed for sale now) a "32E"-tagged Burgundy and it was quad city - the 70G is much better. It's not as shallow as some of the newer Comexim 3HC's, but doesn't match the deeper and better fitting projection of my Comexim Beauty 70F or Ewa Michalak CHP's in 65F. Although the slight shallowness means my boobs push it out of my IMF and down my chest wall a bit throughout the day, and full swoop & scoop results in a touch of quadding, it's not so bad for short-term or bedroom-focused wear, so it's a keeper for now.

The bra is beautiful. I had requested just for the gore to be reduced and overlapping, it is overlapping but not reduced. With the standard height overlapping gore I get a bit of gaping in the center near the gore. Though not requested, it does have the straps moved in 2cm, I usually request this, but either forgot or decided I would see how it works without that alteration. Probably going to list this one and reorder since the gaping bothers me.

For a 3HC the cups on this one are fuller coverage than my other 3HC's also as with the Milk and Honey I got in 3HC there is bunching on the outside of the cup like there is excess fabric.

I'm so happy I reordered this in a different size, it fits quite well. When I initially tried it on I thought it was a bit too big, but I just needed to tighten the straps a bit, I get the slightest bit of gaping on my right side, but I think a size down would be too small. I could have went with the 65 band though as the 70 is pretty TTS, my Irish Coffee Plunge is a bit on the smaller side of TTS in the band and I got it used so I decided to go with the 70, it does fit quite well, but I think I will be on the 2nd hook after a few wears. I ordered this with straps moved in 2cm, but I don't think it was done.
