This bra has a beautiful lilac-colored lace on a grey background. The colors go really well together, and I wanted this one as soon as I saw it.
I ordred this one and the Patricia from Comexim through Breakout Bras, based on the fit of the Ingrid I have, also from BB. The band on the Ingrid is great, even a little stretchy, but the cups are too small.
This one is even smaller than the Patricia, stretching to 26" with effort. I couldn't get this one to fasten. Again, I wish it had fit.

    • Stretched to 26 inches! Bizarre!

    • At least they are easy to return. I would recommend letting BOB know that the sizing on these is bizarre, so they don't get sent to some other unfortunate person, and quite honestly they should probably check their other ones in this size range. I am thankful you posted this, as it is my size range! I have one Comexim from BOB that is a 60 band and stretches to 32 inches. I let them know, they checked the others, which were the same. I decided to keep it and just wear it on the tightest hook, which isn't ideal, but it works for now. Anyhow, I was just joking with someone the other day that I was considering asking BOB to measure the stretched band of a Comexim before I order it, which does seem a bit high maintenance!!!! But now after your reviews it seems a lot more reasonable ;)

    • They actually said they are not returnable, since they requested them directly from Comexim for me and they aren't models they normally carry. I'm going to see if I can pick up some extenders today.
They must have actually been shooting for 65cm with these, because they nailed that.

    • The key difference is the tag has in EU labeling instead of the UK labeling. This tells you they were made as Comexim standards instead of the BoB variation that occurs.
Comexim lately has been less reliable which doesn't help.
Sorry it didn't work out for you.

    • I know I'm super late to the party but, if you don't mind me asking - How did it work out with the extender? Did you find the cups to be tts? You and I are exactly the same size in Comexim plunges (I'm assuming this is a 30KK or 30L in Breakout Bra sizes?) and I've been eyeballing this very bra on the Comexim site. Sorry for the disappointing band. :p I ordered 2 Comexim plunge 30KK's last month and they were easily 1.5 - 2 inches different in the bands. I think I'll buy some extenders myself, jic.

    • Even with the extender, it was a cup size too small. It should be equivalent to a UK 30K, but it's at least 2 sizes small for that, in my opinion.

    • Ugh. What a pain in the ass! Thank you for sharing ur experience

    • To make it even more confuding, the Comexim bras from Breakout Bras seem to be sized differently. The 65N I tried was a tad too small, while the 65P was a little too big.

So this is a custom ordered Comexim Ardea Half Cup in a 65O. I didn't get any alterations done with this one.

Hmm. I'm not really sure where to start with this one. The materials used to make this bra were lovely. They were soft, and they didn't irritate my skin. The bow details were cute. I was a little disappointed in how dull the colors were in real life though. I was expecting more of a vibrant navy blue and pink details, so if you were debating this bra based on the colors of it via the Comexim model's pictures, you're going to be disappointed.

On to the ... fit itself: Yikes.
-Let's start with the straps in relativity to my frame. It's absolutely comical. I'm slender and apparently, tiny (so says my husband). The strap placement is worse than an Ewa bra. I would have to have my straps moved in at least 4 cm to even attempt to fix the glaring problem with the fit itself.
-The cups are cut really short/shallow. Or maybe I'm just pressing that issue because my Ewa bras offer better coverage due to their lace panel added to the top if the cup. I said in the picture review that perhaps Comexim should consider doing something similar in their small band/large cup bras.
-The cups are cut strange regardless. Their padding is geared more towards an Ewa S style thickness, but at the same time, the cut itself is halfway between a plunge and a half cup.
-The wires used were 12inches long, while the length of the cups where the wires were located was 12.5 inches.
    -The gore doesn't tack
-The weight of my breasts almost seem to push the bra band down.
-Lastly, I don't even think my larger side fits into a K/O cup.

Edit to add my ribcage is measuring 28.5inches right now.

    Meh.

Wow. I'm sorry. I don't even know what to say to this, other than I'm sorry you had to spend money on this.

    • 1

Oh my! Yeah this is um, like a shelf bra? Like it belongs on top of a corset.

The side (profile) view looks good. The front looks too shallow, insanely wide, and a bit too short for comfort for sure.

It looks great with your Sofia under it though!! That added support from Sofia makes a big difference but is obviously not practical for daily wear.

I feel a 60 band is really needed, but I am not thinking Comexim wires as they are will provide you with the support you need. A wire switchout may fix that, but won't solve the strap placement issue-which is clearly way too wide for this cup/band combo indeed!

I will give Anna some credit, this does look a bit better than Kim, but isn't an ideal fit for sure. Sorry this one didn't work out for you either. :-(

@Sovavosi We now know the 2HC isn't a better option within our range.... :-(

    • 2

Sovavosi *sigh* I should have just listened to your review, as well as realized the problems I had with Kim. I should have told Anna no haha, but I'm such an optimist sometimes. 🤣 I'm not entirely bummed, since Anna said I could return it if it didn't work out. It's just a final nail in the coffin for me. I can't order from Comexim until they fix their problem with small bands/large cups is all. Maybe they never will, and that's okay. It's hard to cater to us sometimes! I just hope she'll read my review and learn from the pictures and whatnot.

    • 2

MamaPagan Yeah it is haha. There's just a plethora of issues with the bra, really. I enjoy Sofia under it as well, but as you say, it's not practical.

I think you're right. Maybe I do need to just switch back to a 60 band and be done with it.

Oh for sure! The quality is better. The bra itself feels sturdier even. She really tried to fix the cup issue too, I feel. But there's a long way for her to go :)

That's okay. Live and learn. Yeah. I'll have to just skip Comexim I think.

    • 3

You said it beautifully though, as you never know until you try, and those wondering "what ifs" are the worst. I keep doing the same thing, trying Comexim over and over again. The only style I haven't tried are the half cups and the one semi soft.
Some day we shall gather our little group of small band/large cups and take a trip to Poland to offer our breasts to her as models for the size needs. I am thinking it's a scaling issue due to lack of bodies in our range to test them on....

Thank you for testing these waters for us, and providing the measurements and visuals that help guide us all on our bra journeys. I personally am very thankful to you for this.

    • 1

@mamapagam Absolutely. Then we'll go and see Ewa and try and explain the strap problem too 🤷🤣 And, no problem. I am excited that there were changes compared to the Kim. It's a start really. It seems like Anna is at least trying.

Ah!! I've heard of it, but I didn't realize they made it so easy now! That's awesome!

This is a Comexim Kim Half Cup. I believe it's a 3 part cup.

Well. This bra was extremely disappointing. I was speaking to another Bratabase user around my size literally yesterday and she said anything above a K cup in Comexim isn't worth the effort. Boy was this person correct. There's a multitude of things wrong with this bra. The straps are too wide. The cups come up too high. The cups... Drown under the weight of my breasts? Is that even a thing? Where are the tops of the cups?! Why am I about to fall out?! The gore doesn't tack. The band is enormous. It's just a really, really, REALLY bad fit.

The only good thing I can say about it is that it's pretty. Womp womp.

    • Sizing down in the band is needed for sure, but there would be no solution to the tack issue with Comexim unless you did a wire double up or switch out.......That might resolve part of the cup issues, but........definitely don't bend over too far! The flop out was the issue I had in the Comexim Beatrice. Kinda defeats the purpose of a bra, doesn't it? ;-)
Comexim just gets wonky in the larger cups!

    • 1

MamaPagan Which is absolutely astounding to me since the 32 band I just tried seemed firmer than this band. The tacking isn't what bugs me. The lack of depth to the cup bugs me, which, again, makes no sense because according to my measurements, it should work hahaha?! Too true. Darn it. Comexim is so aesthetically pleasing to me. I guess I'll just have to opt out of the brand :(

    • I haven't tried the half cups personally but everyone says they are shallower with less immediate projection. :-/
With the band: Consistently inconsistent is what I like to say!

    • MamaPagan Yup, the half cups are certainly shallow (on me, at any rate). They feel kind of minimizing and push the breasts east-west.

    • Haha, I guess so. Oh well I suppose.

    • JumpingJellyfish19 I just noticed the caption on the first picture. Yikes, indeed.

    • Sovavosi I hoped someone would like it 😏

    • 2

It really makes you wonder, do they have a concept of what a Half cup should look like? This one is very plunge in shape-lower gore, higher at the strap-definitely not a "dual suns on the horizon" straight across look at all. Dual vertical seams doesn't make a half cup if it doesn't also have the horizontal top......

    • 1

MamaPagan I'm convinced that companies don't actually know the correct bra strap-bra cup-bra band ratio for us as of yet. Maybe someday...

    • 1

My Wellfitting 3HC in 28K looks like this, more like a plunge than a half cup. It must be the JJ to K jump, the JJ didn't look like this.

    • Sovavosi Perhaps. 🤷

    • It's just crazy though!

    • 1

MamaPagan oh absolutely. You'd think that there wouldn't be that much difference, right? But here we are... Looking at my tatas spilling out of this bra...

    • 1

Too true....too true.....wait, now I feel like a pervert, haha!

    • 1

I know that you can custom the straps to be moved in and the cup height to be reduced but I don’t think that would solve all of the problems. It’s beautiful though, agreed.

    • 2

They don't even TRY to grade properly at this size. You want to know something funny/horrible? In some of the most popular Comexim half cups represented on Bratabase, i.e. the ones with user data in almost every size on the full-bust side of the range at least, if you go diagonally up and down along a particular sister size line (so for example 60N, 65M, 70L, 75K, 80J) you'll see measurements indicating that the sister-size cups are all roughly the same depth but not only are they non-graded for the smaller back sizes, they're kinda... ANTI-graded. So you will have the 75K or 80J that is a scant 6" wide and the sister size volume in the much smaller back sizes, like 60 or 65, is literally WIDER in the cup!!! with straps presumably further apart. The more projected a half-cup is, the more it relies on (a) structural integrity of the cup itself so that it is robust enough to survive the weight of a boob instead of folding, and (b) ability to brace evenly and therefore securely against the ribcage thanks to both ends of the "U" of underwire sitting more or less on the same plane. If you have the wire at the gore that is essentially vertical and the rest of the cup is pretty much wrapped 3/4 of the way round your sides with the outer end of the wire having nothing to brace against, the whole darn thing is just going to collapse, unceremoniously dumping your boobs out of the cup and into each other. Add the strap being too far out and it just completes the dysfunction.

    • 1

MamaPagan 😂😏 it's okay. I signed up for this 😂

    • 1

Calluna Yep. You can have several adjustments done to their bras. However, whether they actually do it or not is an entirely different ball game.
Sigh, yeah. Too bad it didn't work out!

    • wendybien yikes.. you'd think they'd at least try a little harder, you know? They have all this information from their customers, all the feedback that the need, but it's like they completely ignore it. It's so sad really, because I LOVE their bras.

    • 3

It looks great from every angle, EXCEPT the front. Where it is obviously failing. Oh my, its failing horrendously isn't it.
Some one REALLY needs to work with Comexim on designing their bras for the full bust/small back community.

    • Indeed, LeProfessor, indeed!

    • LeProfessor It is very much failing indeed. :/

I really like the look of this bra. I love plaid, and the black lace is a nice accent.
I ordred this one and the Paola from Comexim through Breakout Bras, based on the fit of the Ingrid I have, also from BB. The band on the Ingrid is great, even a little stretchy, but the cups are too small.
I expected this one to be perfect, but the band only stretches to 26.5", and that is with some effort. I coud get it on after a bit of struggle, but then the cups were too small (might be because of the band). It's such a nice bra, and I really wish it had been pefect.

I am not used to Comexim's sizing, I estimated that I wanted the equivalent to a UK 30JJ, which put me at a 65P/Q in Comexim's sizing. I ordered from Breakout Bras, which sells these in UK sizing(sort of), and based off their size charts I was looking for a 30KK in Breakout Bras sizing, however, the description also said that this style runs a little bigger in the cups and to size down slightly from whatever your usual size in Comexim is. Which is how I got to a 30K/65O.

The fit is almost perfect. The band feels great. The straps are a little ... far apart, but seem acceptable.

I was initially thrown for a loop because the center gore does not lie flat, and I get quadding towards the center. However, I get slight gaping at the top of the cup as well. I don't feel that my breasts skew fuller on top or bottom, or inside or outside, they seem pretty even all around. If I pull my breasts in really well and stand with good posture, the cups fit on top, but I still have some quadding in the center, and once I slouch a little or move my arms too much I get some gaping again.

I posted online for help with the fit and a lot of people said that it seemed like the cups were too small, despite the gaping at top.

You know how you need a really good white bra...but don't want just any old plain one? Well I get the best of both worlds of a gorgeous, anything but basic bra with Comexim Snow. I am going through a cup growth and noticed that my 70 bands aren't as tight as I need and wear out too quickly. On top of that the cups are just a tad small. I decided to go from a 70N to a 65O. This was over all not completely off.

The band is stretchy enough to feel firm-ish, but I feel like I could size down, this is good because I ... expect other bands not to be as stretchy, so I will stick with 65. The look of it is just beautiful. It's my kind of basic, floral white lace over a white base. Thick white straps with embroidered piping on them. The band is plain white no lace which provides smoothing. The look is topped off with a sheer lace only gore and a simple white bow with the ribbon tassels accented with a single clear bead.

The fit is so comfy especially with the cookie pockets, which I add solely for softness. Although I need about a cup up (65P) due to quads I will still wear this bra with no hesitation, until I order a new one. I feel like I need 5 more in various shades of brown white and black lol.

I got straps moved in 3cm, cups reduced, gore narrowed, overlapping, and reduced to 6.5cm/2.5in, cookie pockets.

This is one of my favorite bras ever. I went ahead and got the matching panties and they look amazing.

There is an additional layer of the mesh fabric at the bottom of the cup, which makes it somewhat less transparent than if it were a single layer(and I believe smaller cup sizes are one layer, but I don't know the cut off). I don't personally find this to change the look too much, but I think another reviewer was bothered by it.

This is one of the comfiest bras I own. The band is a little tighter than most of my other Comexim bras, I'm not ... sure if this style just runs tight in the band, or maybe they were just making short bands that day as the cats 3HC that I ordered at the same time is also smaller in the band than other 3HCs I have in the same size.

I would say the cups are fairly closed on top, it almost feels like the rest of the cup fits except the top is tight. Depending on my posture I can get a little quadding, but it's not noticable under a shirt and it's comfortable and feels secure.

Being non padded, to this doesn't give the same intense rounded shape that my other Comexims give me, but it is still a pleasant shape.

This is another one I would avoid if you have sensory issues, as the mesh isn't very soft, but it's not really scratchy or anything.

Overall, I wasn't sure this would work out but I was pleasantly surprised and it's one of my favorites now. Also, purple seems like an uncommon bra color so I like that about it.

    I adore this bra.

This was my first try at ordering a custom bra from Comexim, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Before ordering it, I used the customer support form and spoke to Joanna, who allowed me to send pictures of my unmodified Topaz so she could assess the fit and suggest alterations and which size to order. On her suggestion, I ordered it with the straps brought in(2cm I believe), the cups moved up(not sure what she meant by this but I decided to just go with it and whatever it means, it works?). I was considering ordering a 65P or 65Q, since ... the cups on my Topaz in 65O seemed to be a little small, but her suggestion was to order a 65O since the wires fit perfectly, and she was able to deepen the cup a little bit.

It took a little bit to get here, but was honestly faster than I expected. I had to pick it up from the post office on the way to work this week, and when I got to my office I immediately ran to the bathroom to try it on because I was too excited. It's beautiful.

I did have trouble with getting my breasts to sit in the cups properly at first, but after refreshing myself on how to swoop n scoop, and some trial and error, I figured it out.

My boobs look absolutely CRAZY in this. The padded cups really smooth them out into a beautiful orb like shape and give them crazy lift. The cleavage is INTENSE. When I first put it on it pushed my breasts up so much they had shadows, it looked like I have implants.

This is clearly not a bra for everyone, or for every situation, but I adore how it makes the bazookas look. My breasts are very projected, not self supporting at all, they hang to my belly button. I did NOT know they could look so good.

One small issue: the center gore does not sit flat for me. This usually isn't a problem, but sometimes if I didn't adjust my boobs just right when putting it on, it can cause a lot of weight to be focused on the curve of the underwire and it can hurt a little bit. I heard that Comexim uses relatively soft wires which can cause the gore to not always sit flat. Despite this, usually I can adjust the weight, and for date night or something? I can suffer a little rib pain for just how outstanding it looks. I'm mesmerized by my own boobs!

This top is running a good band size too small and a cup too big. I can hook it fine, and hope it’ll relax when wet but I definitely wouldn’t wear it with bloating. The cups are a full size too big and are too tall. I’ll keep it since I’ve been growing constently every year despite being 29. The print is very pretty, it’s denim palm on neon pink. I loved this suit when I first saw it and had to have it. The bottoms are a size m and are a perfect fit for size 6/8 US. I had the waist band raised 3 cm.

Band is firm, like most black bras are. I can wear it without an extender fine but I am aware of the band. It is my only non altered Comexim. The cups on this one are narrower than my two customs, but only slightly. The elastic on the band is wrapped in the tulle making it very soft.

Band fits true to size, had the gore overlapped and the straps moved in 2 cm. The gore only soft tacks but that’s ok. Straps are thinner than I’d like but not uncomfortable.

This bra is absolutely beautiful and the smooth shine of it is really appealing. The seams are a bit visible under clothing, though, which is odd for it being a T-shirt bra. The straps are actually incredibly long and it's somewhat surprising, but I guess that's a good thing if you're low set or have broad shoulders.

This bra is not owned any more
