    Fits

I think this is my new favourite bra!

I love the look of it with the charcoal and lace overlay. It gives me flash backs to one of the first properly-fitted bras I ever tried - the Curvy Kate Tempt Me - which was just never going to work fit-wise.

The top of the cups stop a couple of centimetres below my arm pits, which is fantastic as I often have them poking me in plunge styles. Gore is low but not falling-out low, perfect for showing a bit of cleavage without a wardrobe malfunction for my centre-full boobs.
There is a bit of quad on my right ... side, but since my breasts are quite uneven in size and it's impossible to get a bra they're both happy with, a touch of quadding is something I don't mind.

The wire on the left was a bit stabby, but nothing a bit of bending won't fix. The band is absolutely perfect for my too. It fits comfortably on the middle hook, which gives a nice bit of wriggle room for stretching out and/or bloated days.

    Didn't fit

This bra has a beautiful lilac-colored lace on a grey background. The colors go really well together, and I wanted this one as soon as I saw it.
I ordred this one and the Patricia from Comexim through Breakout Bras, based on the fit of the Ingrid I have, also from BB. The band on the Ingrid is great, even a little stretchy, but the cups are too small.
This one is even smaller than the Patricia, stretching to 26" with effort. I couldn't get this one to fasten. Again, I wish it had fit.

    • Stretched to 26 inches! Bizarre!

    • At least they are easy to return. I would recommend letting BOB know that the sizing on these is bizarre, so they don't get sent to some other unfortunate person, and quite honestly they should probably check their other ones in this size range. I am thankful you posted this, as it is my size range! I have one Comexim from BOB that is a 60 band and stretches to 32 inches. I let them know, they checked the others, which were the same. I decided to keep it and just wear it on the tightest hook, which isn't ideal, but it works for now. Anyhow, I was just joking with someone the other day that I was considering asking BOB to measure the stretched band of a Comexim before I order it, which does seem a bit high maintenance!!!! But now after your reviews it seems a lot more reasonable ;)

    • They actually said they are not returnable, since they requested them directly from Comexim for me and they aren't models they normally carry. I'm going to see if I can pick up some extenders today.
They must have actually been shooting for 65cm with these, because they nailed that.

    • The key difference is the tag has in EU labeling instead of the UK labeling. This tells you they were made as Comexim standards instead of the BoB variation that occurs.
Comexim lately has been less reliable which doesn't help.
Sorry it didn't work out for you.

    • I know I'm super late to the party but, if you don't mind me asking - How did it work out with the extender? Did you find the cups to be tts? You and I are exactly the same size in Comexim plunges (I'm assuming this is a 30KK or 30L in Breakout Bra sizes?) and I've been eyeballing this very bra on the Comexim site. Sorry for the disappointing band. :p I ordered 2 Comexim plunge 30KK's last month and they were easily 1.5 - 2 inches different in the bands. I think I'll buy some extenders myself, jic.

    • Even with the extender, it was a cup size too small. It should be equivalent to a UK 30K, but it's at least 2 sizes small for that, in my opinion.

    • Ugh. What a pain in the ass! Thank you for sharing ur experience

    • To make it even more confuding, the Comexim bras from Breakout Bras seem to be sized differently. The 65N I tried was a tad too small, while the 65P was a little too big.

    Didn't fit

I have been lusting after this bra since Comexim released it. I love the dark gray and lilac combination. The lilac lace is surprisingly detailed and it has a delicate silvery blue thread woven through it. The quality is lovely. I bought the matching shorts in size small and they fit like a dream. They are a cheeky fit for sure. They are surprisingly lined with dark grey mesh, so they match the bra perfectly, but, are a little thicker than expected.

I ordered this bra in a 65H and asked for the straps to be moved in 2cm and for the gore to be narrowed. ... Compared to my unaltered 60HH Comexim, these changes appear to have been made. I had wanted to try a 65H as my 60HH was a little firm in the band, and I wondered if a 65 would be more comfortable. I think this was a mistake - I can easily wear this bra on the last hook. The other 60HHs I received in the same order fit much better.

While the band is a little too large, on first wear it feels like the cups may be slightly too shallow near the wire. I have a lot more cleavage in this bra than in the 60HH and I speculate that the straps being moved in may have affected the overall volume. I am undecided on whether or not I will keep this bra, it may be a little too va-va-voom for my tastes. The set is non-returnable because of the customization, so it may have to find a new home on bratabase. Although, I do love the design, so I may order another in 60J or a 60HH with increased depth at the wire.

From my experience, the 3hcs fit smaller than the plunges... not sure if that's everyone's experience or just mine...I also found that moving the straps in does make the cup more shallow/fit smaller. Other alterations, such as lowering the gore and adding cookie pockets also made the bra more shallow in my experience (or fit smaller, I can't tell which). The last couple times I have only requested the straps to be moved in 1cm, and the depth is better, though they still don't have a ton of apex depth (which usually works for me). This bra is sure pretty though!

    • 1

I should clarify on my last comment... I was referring to my 3HCs when I was talking about apex depth... The plunge I tried seemed to have more apex depth (or maybe it was just taller, not sure).

    • 2

Wilderness1 thanks for this :) It is so helpful to know how the bras fit other users in a similar size range. I will have to try requesting 1cm instead of 2 for the straps.

    • 1

You may just need a bigger size too (especially if you order a 3HC. I wear a 30F in most bras, but a 65HH in Comexims 3HCs). I find that I can wear a bigger size if I make all the customizations I need. So you could either try only getting straps moved in 1 cm in a 60HH, or you could try a bigger size with the straps moved in 2 cm in a 60J.

    • 2

While I realize I am in a much higher cup range, from my experience moving the straps made no difference on the cup depth/projection. Where the difference in fit came in was in the fact that the straps were no longer meeting the force of resistance from the arm/armpits, allowing the cups to settle into their natural position. The best way to test the cup with the straps being an issue is to put the bra on but not put the straps over your shoulders. Then do a full swoop n scoop and see how the cups fit and feel without that arm/armpit resistance. (You may need to lift the cups up manually to get them in proper position afterwards, depending on how self supporting your breasts are.) If the cups fit very full (or over full) this way, you will need to size up in the cup to get a good fit.

    • 1

MamaPagan interesting... I'll have to try that and see what happens....

    • Please do and let me know if you notice a difference. I used to think the same way until I tested the bras this way and realized the cups fit the same with and without the straps moved when those darn arms weren't in the way, haha.

    • This is gorgeous! I agree with Wilderness. I bet you'd get a great fit with a 60J with the straps moved in. And maybe reduced cup height and more depth at the wire.

    • Sonya I will need to try a 60J out - for bra science lol

    • 1

MamaPagan That was a genius suggestion. I had never considered that you could test cup depth in that way. Without the straps on, the cups are still very full to overfull. Guess I need to size up. Thank you!

    • You are welcome rachaelll. :-)

    • 1

rachaelll- There is a lot of variation between individual bras too. The 60J I got from you probably has more upper room (and thus fits bigger) than any of my others. I do think you are closer to a 60J than HH.

    • Very valid point Sonya.

    • 1

Sonya, I was just thinking about that. That bra was so tall - I was worried to order any 60js. But I suppose when you have only tried one, you don't have a sense of what an average 60j looks like. I also wonder in the blue magic 60HH runs a little large, because it fits better than all four of the news ones.

    • 1

Yes, I would say the Blue Magic (at least that one) runs 1/2 size big.

    • 1

Sonya everything makes sense now. Thank you for this :) Is so frustrating that bra sizing is so inconsistent across styles.

    Didn't fit

Have been wearing Comexim 80M's but got larger. Ordered an 80N. Wearing this on the tightest hook. Wires fit well, about a finger width further out from my tissue's outer bottom root, but fitting at the top outer and inner root. Im a little more close set than this bra, so the top of the gore floats about a centimeter off my chest- not too bad or digging in hard. There's a oddly harsh turn on the top plunge panel where it flips from the top to bottom but I think it may just need a bit of wear to get the foam used to the curve? Lace ... is soft and everything feels prettty comfotable. As always, I with the straps were moved in, but when I've tried custom alterations it always makes something else even more wonky, so Im happy with this structure. Im glad to be able to start reliably ordering the same sizes and cuts and end up with something wearable. Cups are full with no significant overflowing, empty bits, or wrinkling. Well padded to hid nipple bumps.
I love the softness and feel of the purple stretch lace. The grey isn't my favorite, but complements it nicely, and leaves neutral bra straps. I love how the lace bras from in this brand fit (more than the non-lacey fabrics) but I wish it didnt show bumps under tshirts. it's still less than the obvious seams of the non lacey fabrics.
After 5 minutes of wear, nothing is obviously hurting or uncomfortable. The bottom of the gore does hit the place I get sores from some of my bras, and has a small amount of pressure, but hoepfully this lace is soft enough to not irritate me when I get those. Overall, Im very pleased with this bra, and may have to order more while they are still makeing this colorway with this material.

    Hasn't set fit

I know that Comexim Plunges (with reduced cup height and center core for less coverage) fit my FOB average projected breasts really good and this one is no exception. The shape is a little bit minimized as for all Comexims but as always the bra compensates this with incredible wearing comfort. I tend to forget that I am wearing a bra with my Comexims which makes me purchasing this bras again and again while the tend to stretch out a bit quicker than my Ewas.

Fitwise there is nothing special. The band is on the tight side, for the first time ever I extended the bra by one hook ... for comfort. I can close it without problem but as I only need the shape and very little support I choose to wear the bands as loose as possible without riding up. I got wider as well as firmer on the back within the last year, so the extender should be only half way due to the band.
As for all Comexims reduced plunges I can hardly wear it with low cut tops, but that is okay.
The wires are very narrov. They are the narrowest wires I can wear and i think the became narrower some time ago. 65D Standard Sapphire has wider wires, 60E Reduced Small quail has same narrow wires.

I like the light violet lace over the steel gray, the bra was on my wishlist since it was released.
