This really looks like an Art Déco sister-style of @70K Comexim Yoko plunge! My regular Comexim size (70K) was not available, and I had previously been wondering whether to size up to 70L in Comexims. So I tried that, and despite some minor issues it seems to have worked out well!
FYI, *edit: at least for my size*; the conversion BreakOutBras uses basically means that their listed 'US size' is the Comexim direct order size. So in this case, UK 32HH - US 32L means Comexim 70L.
Edit: *because this is unaltered, the strap placement does bother me*. Ideally I would do some sewing and move in the straps, we'll ...see - for they are currently too far apart for a day's wear / comfort. One thing that's interesting about the fit: the immediate projection is still insufficient, despite sizing up. So I'm thinking in Comexim plunges I definitely need added projection at the wire? It's wearable like this for sure, but could be better.
I really do like this bra's aesthetics! Some Comexims just speak to me and this one was definitely on the shortlist. Sadly this Piume Blue had been sold out for a while at Comexim's - which is why I did cave and ordered this one from BoB, despite already owning Yoko that looks somewhat similar. On the plus side, my bra size has remained pretty stable over the years, so I'm hoping that luck will last for a while longer (hmm o_0 - don't jinx it!?) and I've found that having a larger rotation also helps to keep my bras in great shape for longer!

I ordered this bra from Breakout Bras shortly after receiving the 32K - Full Embrace » The Essential Balconette Bra and finding that it didn't fit me at all. I had also previously tried the 70N - Comexim » Magic Plunge Bra (455) , which was way too small, and the 70O - Comexim » Miss Bee-have Half Cup 3hc , which was wearable, but not a perfect fit. I literally took the tags off of the Full Embrace balconette, since I thought it would take a week or so to get to me and I needed something to wear ...ASAP, then got an email indicating that my Breakout Bras order had shipped and would arrive by Saturday. It actually arrived today (Thursday). Whoops. Anyway, the Piume Blu isn't a perfect fit on me after all. The cups gape a bit, especially on my smaller side, and the gore doesn't quite tack. I'm going to hang onto it since it's wearable, the colorway is very pretty, and I'm pretty desperate for a padded bra as this cold snap is showing no signs of abating. I suspect finding a padded bra that fits me perfectly without alterations just isn't going to happen. Le sigh. Edit: remeasured bra 02/12/21 using my knee to hold the bra in place. For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). I initially purchased this bra in size 28G (too big) with the intent of returning it after figuring out my Breakout Bras Comexim size. After seeing the beautiful blue, gray, and black feather diamond design, I couldn't help but order it again in size 28FF. I'm a huge sucker for anything blue!
The wires are placed a little too wide, but I expected that from an unaltered Comexim. Besides that, this bra fits me well. The cups seem to be shorter compared to my Ingrid, and it works a lot better for me. The cups are ...nicely projected and give a great shape under clothes. Similar to my other Comexim from Breakout Bras (Andromeda 28FF), the cups are a little small but 28G is for sure too big.
The wings are also 1cm lower than my other Comexims so I have less coverage, but they don't bother my armpits which is more comfortable. The wires are narrow, soft, and don't poke me at all. The band is a true 60cm (53cm unstretched, 63cm stretched) and comfortable around my ribs. The gore tacks perfectly.
This bra and the 28G I ordered previously came with an overlapping gore and 4x2 hooks, so it seems to be the normal design for this specific bra. This is absolutely my new favorite Comexim! Read more 120 more words
I'm very close-set, center-full, fuller on bottom, tall-ish roots, and average to wide roots.
Fits really well and comfortably around width and depth of cup. Band is snug on the tight side as is expected of black bands. Very slight gap on the right bigger side of cup near strap and along the top edge of cup. I think my bigger boob sits lower in the IMF and is also bottom heavy and the cup is not supporting it enough to fill up the top. This slight gap causes bra line to show on the bigger side under clothes. The left smaller side is perfectly contained with little to no gaps.
For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). I purchased this bra through Breakout Bras, because I wanted to see if 28G would be a better fit since my Andromeda in 28FF was causing a bit of quadding. I initially wanted to try Andromeda in 28G, but it was backordered for 4 weeks. After emailing Stephanie from Breakout Bras, I decided to order the Piume Blu in 28G to test the size, since she mentioned it's similar to Andromeda.
As a lady who LOVES blue, this might be one of the most beautiful bras I've ever seen. Which is a problem because I had ...ordered this bra only to test the size and then return, and I told myself I would not be keeping it. That went out the window once I set eyes on this beauty. The bra has rich navy, royal blue, silver, and black diamond designs, and I absolutely love the royal blue bow accents. Fortunately for my wallet (and unfortunately for my increasing bra addiction), the cups are too large for me. The projection at the bottom is great for me, but the top of the cups gape like crazy especially on my smaller side.
The straps are placed too wide for my shoulders and the cups are a bit too tall, but I expected this in an unaltered Comexim. Something I have noticed about Comexim bras from Breakout Bras is that the cups and wings sit lower compared to my other Comexims. The cup sides of this bra and my Andromeda don't ride up into my armpits, and the wires do not bother me at all. The band is firm and true to size for a 60 band. This bra has an overlapping gore and 4x2 rows of hooks. I'm not sure if this is how it comes or if Breakout Bras also occasionally receives variations in bras from Comexim.
I'm sending this one back, but I did notice that 28FF is in stock...Someone please talk me out of it! Read more 230 more words
