Love Love this bra, enough depth for my central fullness, shallower on the outside with lovely firm fabric, and the perfect height for my root so no big gap / crease between the strap and the cup. Wires enclose perfectly -gore could be narrower if the wires overlapped which would improve the bra for me (like my old Marcie) but the rest of this bra is so good that its not a huge issue.
Such a pretty bra, the navy and pink is just such a great colourway and with the little charm, this bra just seems made for me.

Cleo Marcie cuts are a strange kind of bra family on me. Actually I do find the whole bra family extremely strange. It has so much room near the gore on top it will even gape on full on top boobs when moving around. But if sizing down I would instead quad. And this Cleo bra cut is the cut that is told to work best on shallow boobs. I find that completely logic. But I would want to act that I don't think this cut looks good on anyone in a larger size. Definitely not above 30J and sister sizes but hardly in the smaller sizes ... either. It's simply constructed imo very very weird. You can either choose between quadboob if sizing down, or incup quadboob if sizing up.

Also the cup depth on these bras are huge. Put over knee and side seam stretched out it's 33 cm in 32H.

I actually thinks this bra is more supportive in a too big size than a fitting one. When one forces boobs forward that much and leaves so much room on top boobs are very far away from the body. That makes them very unsupported. The far apart straps and the two hooks and eyes will have a hard time holding boobs up if they are not very small or very firm.

The bra is a maximizer which is also why it's smarter in the smaller than the larger sizes. Under clothes the gaping won't be shown and since I like the pink flower print showing through a white top I actually consider keeping it and just fold the lace slightly inwards double on top to take away the extra space there. That way it turns a little higher on the sides and lower in the front which is what I need https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I also cannot stop thinking about how that bra could should be changed to work in larger sizes because I cannot decide whether it's the bottom parts that are too high or the top part that simply are too generous. Or both.

It's a good bra for close together boobs. It's a good bra for firm boobs. In smaller sizes it's a good bra for shallow boobs. But as a whole this bra cut simply doesn't make much sense.

I know there are many that thinks that it's good that bras are made in a higher cup size. But I would say in some cases it's just giving false hopes and more of the bra being a pretty garment than a bra. And it does look weird on almost everyone above a G cup.

The boobs I can imagine this bra being really good for is augmented boobs. The don't weigh as much as their size suggests and so they can benefit from the shape without demanding as much support.

The bra was pretty and had great color. The wires were narrow but they could have been an .5-1 inch narrower, but still good fit. The cups fit up until the mesh for my larger boob. The mesh is not stretchy so if I size down it might create spillage what do you all think? I ordered a 32H and I kept having to pull the band down so I'm guessing 30 band, but what cups? 30HH would be the normal sister size, but the H was gapping at the top so 30H? I suppose I might just move on because the gore was too high, digging and sitting on my center tissue.

any chance you can do a fit request? that would make it a lot easier to give advice, because we'd have your measurements and pictures?

    • I mean, gapping on top could be fit or could be cut. Sometimes digging gore can be fixed by bending wires outward. Sometimes gapping is acceptable if it doesnt show through a shirt. and having to pull the band down could mean too loose, or could mean you have the straps adjusted too tight?

    • 2

I'm not ready to fit check yet because I'm camera shy, I barely take pictures of my face let alone my body 😳😰. It could be that I didn't size down to accommodate an unpadded bra. The straps weren't too tight and I could fit my whole hand underneath the band. I measure a 31 so I wear both a 30 and 32. I am still currently trying to find my right size but all the 32GG I've tried were too small in the cup.

I am very shy about posting photos of my face but with boobs... you know, nobody knows who I am or anything about me except my bra-buying habits and advice. So I feel like it's very impersonal and anonymous posting pics here. The only time a photo gave me pause was when my daughter ran through the frame!

Ahh, yes..the elusive Cleo George! I received this bra from Vee via the bra listings. I really like how this George lifts my breasts and gives me nice cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is also my first attempt at trying a "sister size" bra and it was a success!
Only issue for me is that the wires are ever so slightly too tall for me, but they don't poke at me as much as other Panache bras I have tried.

    Navy bird print.
This is a tricky fit; I would only buy it at retail if it was free to ship returns. I have it in a 30H, and the fit was perfection until I gained a few pounds and it became too tight everywhere. I thought sizing up to the 32H would be just the ticket.
It's not horrible but it's not nearly as good. I have the slight bit of extra fabric (where the seams meet at the apex) that so many other reviews noted but the rest of the cup fits fine.
It seems the wires are wider (I need to input measurements for both) than necessary and 2 hooks feels inadequate now.
Update 12/2018: The 32H fits fine these days.

This bra is a great fit for me! With one exception. The gore is slightly too tall so it hits the "bend" (what word is correct for that?) in my sternum which forces the bra sit slightly lower than it should. I am going to research the measurements in sister sizes for one with a slightly shorter sternum The shape looks really good on me, which is rare. My tissue is extremely soft - pendulous, narrow roots, center full, projected. The stretchy cups make me look symmetrical - it removes what is usually a very obvious discrepancy between my larger side and smaller side. I think this bra is GREAT!

This bra in the dotted version is oddly difficult to find, even though it's fairly new. I like the rose print Mimi and so was keen to try the blue dotted one. I have one of each in the same size and they are not identical in pattern pieces. This blue dotted Mimi is definitely taller in the cups than the rose print one. Sadly though, that's as far as the difference goes. The blue Mimi doesn't hold any more volume. To me it seems to be smaller than it should be and as they don't make HH cups I can't try the next size up (I'm already one sister size up from my ideal).
The rose Mimi, despite being a touch small, is comfortable to wear all day and hopefully this spotted one will be too, so I plan to keep it, but the size problem keeps it from being equal to the sadly discontinued flamingo print Darcy.

I already wrote a pretty thorough review of this same model in purple, so I will restrict comments in this review to this specific color way. Overall, the fit is really fantastic, this bra fits like it was made for me.

One thing I was surprised to notice upon opening the package was that this bra is not white and orange as it appears in stock photos, but actually light pink and orange. I'll try to get some photos that reflect this.

Once again, the little flowers embroidered on the cups show through thin shirts. Not the color, which is what you might ... expect from neon orange, but the texture. This is really disappointing because otherwise this might be my perfect bra! My only very slight quibble is that the wires are just a touch too wide for me, but it doesn't bother me, it's just something I noticed when I took the bra off and saw the marks on my skin.

As I mentioned in my other review, I bought these in a small lot from someone that was selling them very cheaply. Normally I would go for a 34GG, not a 32H, but these actually fit really well. Now I am left with the conundrum of whether that is due to the incredibly stretchy band or whether these were stretched out by previous owners. I guess I'll never know unless I need to order more...

Update: After wearing this bra and its twin a few times each, the area of the band right under the gore is not a problem I can overlook. It is sharp and digs in painfully and tends to leave marks that don't go away overnight. It's a shame, because the rest of the band doesn't feel too tight and the cups are like a second skin. Ah well, maybe I'll try it again in my actual size when new colors are released.

If you check the normal measurements for this bra, you'll see that it normally stretches to around 33.9", so they were definitely stretched out by their previous owner! :)

    • That's amazing, because they look new! Either way, I'll keep them. I had a feeling that might be the case because in Panache bras I'm absolutely a 34 band, it seemed strange that Cleo would be so different!

    • It might also be that Cleo IS a bit different; I keep hearing it called their junior line, and I know that many Panache-pure bras are more expensive.

Some stretch measurement difference is bound to happen just because not all of us are stretching to the same extent, but I do think 3+" of difference is probably somewhat a wear issue :)

I would try a 34 and 32 the next time you order!

I had this. The gore made me feel sick and it poked in until I finally get rid of this bra for 1.50€ on ebay.de.
But it looks cute concerning the design.

WHAT a gorgeous bra! I adore the bird print and the contrasting dark blue and red.
In terms of fit, the Meg is ALMOST perfect. The straps are a bit wide-set for me, but not horribly so. The cup width is absolutely perfect, which is thrilling. And while the shape is not quite as hourglass-from-the-front as I was expecting, it's certainly not worth complaining about.
As usual, my finnicky, bottom-heavy boobs strike again. I fill the bottom and apex of Meg fine, but the top portion of the cup (above the seam) wrinkles like crazy. Unfortunately, this essentially renders the bra useless as the gaping is very noticeable.
I may try a quick alteration to correct this though, b/c I really do love this bra and it seems easy enough.
But for girls with more balanced fullness, or bottom-heavy girls who don't mind doing some sewing, I could not recommend more!

I measure 29 inches under the bust and usually wear 28-30 bands. My 30 bands have been feeling too tight recently, so I wanted a more comfortable and looser band. Unfortunately, this band is very loose. I want to say that it is loose for a 32, but it really is true to size and very stretchy. However, this bra only goes up to an H cup and I fear a 30H would be too small in the cups. This bra is too wide for my boobs, probably because my frame is not a 32-band frame. The depth is perfect. Center gores rarely lie flat on my full ... in the center breasts, but this one does very comfortably. I quadboob a bit in the middle of the bra, and gape a bit on the sides towards the top because I have shallow tissue on the sides of my breasts. I wish this bra was a little lower-cut. I think that a 30H would feel better on my armpits and migrated tissue, but I have a feeling I would quadboob quite a bit. This bra is definitely not for my shape, but it still looks great under clothes and alone. This bra provides the most coverage out of all of my bras, but still provides some lovely cleavage. I don't have any other bras in a fun print so I feel like I really need this bra even though it's not perfect. It is very comfortable and soft. The material comfort outweighs the slight backache I have from wearing a loose band. I may invest in a rixie clip or alter the band. Tightening the band may exasperate the wideness issue I have with this bra.

i think i should have gotten a 30HH instead because the band is quite strechy (well strechier then the zia for example, probably a bit looser as well). i like this bra but i wish it had three hooks instead of just two, i dont feel as secure as i would like to feel (this might be because of the too loose band though). cups seem true to size to me.

    Update 04.02.2013
the band is just way too big, i get shoulder pain after wearing it for a while. im probably gonna buy a new one in 30HH though.

I have just compared the marcie to the the cleo zia bra in 32H and i think the band of the marcie is just a tiny bit longer, but way stretchier!

I have just moved into this size (32H) from a 34G and I have to say that this is the best fitting bra I have every owned!!! I absolutely love it. I hope it stays tried and true as it breaks it, but so far amazing. It is extremely soft in the padding (which is a must for me) and I have nooooo problem filling the cups. Going from the 34 band to the 32 is noticeable, but perfect...and although it is snug, I know that's a good thing. The band is fairly stretchy to compensate for this. Otherwise it is beautiful on my figure. Love it.

I quite like the band on this bran and feel like it give nice uplift for a soft cup bra. The shoulder straps are a bit uncomfortable for me, though: they are halfway adjustable, and I have lengthened them to their maximum length, but they still feel snug and the plastic connector digs directly in to the top of my shoulder. I've never had strap length issues with any other bra, so I'm not sure why this is happening here.

The shape this bra gives under clothes I like, which is lifted, upfront, and rounded. The material of the cups do not stretch at all, and I get ... a hint of cutting in along the top quad effect when I move around on some days, but when I tried the next size up at 32J, the cups were significantly too large for me and so I exchanged it for this size, 32H.

My breasts are close set together with no space between them, and this bra has no space between the underwires at the sternum at all which fits great.

There are 2 rows of hooks in the back, and the band is stretchy and I have a big of soft padding around my ribs so prefer my bands very snug, so I end up with a bit of rolls when wearing this bra because it's not wide enough to smooth everything out and still give support. Not enough to discourage me from wearing it and not more than some of my other bras do, but something to note for similar shapes. The band goes all the way around under the cups and feels supportive.

It's possibly the cutest bra I've ever owned. I love how the colours are slightly different on every bra which makes each one unique. The only thing I don't like about the design is the shade of yellow, one of my least favourite colors.

The Ellie is often described as a balconnette bra, but technically speaking it's more of a half-cup, designed really well, giving my boobs great uplift and wonderful round shape.

I totally fell in love with the fabric, on the outside and on the inside. It's so soft, nothing scratches me, nothing pokes me, it feels so good! The band seems a bit stretchy though, I'm not ... sure how long will it work well. The two-hook fastening also worries me a bit. It works well now, but after days and days of lifting my boobs?

I've heard that Cleo bras have narrower underwires than the other Panache branches'. Well, it doesn't work for this bra. The reason is clear: the underwires are long, therefore the outer ends are shaped the way that may prevent it from poking our underarms. It doesn't work for me, so I'll have to reshape it somehow, because I really want to keep this bra.

The straps aren't fully adjustable, it may be a problem for taller girls. I find it comfortable enough.

I've wanted a lonline for so long!
Initially found it ridiculously difficult to do up, but with practice is now fine.
Cups fit perfectly, however the lace on the cups doesn't quite sit flat, a problem I've had with the Juno bra too. I do have to shorten the straps significantly to get any cleavage at all, or to fill the slight empty space at the top of the cups. I don't know if sizing down would have helped, couldn't try the GG in this one. The underwires on this one come up really high under my arms and rub throughout the day, tried loosening the straps but it didn't ... help, so again, maybe size down would have been better.
The straps are a little far apart, but nothing major.
The band sits firm, and is very supportive, however as my tummy is bigger than my underbust, it does curl up when I sit down, which can be a bother constantly fixing it. BUT, the nipped in shape is fantastic under clothes! It looks like it's cutting in, but because of my size, it's just tummy bulges, easily hidden by highwaisted skirts or shapewear.
Overall, while not an everyday bra, I do love this one for when I want a nipped in look. The shape is nice and round, despite having one vertical seam. Probably fits better on slimmer people who won't have the cutting in effect, but I do really like this bra.

I love this bra, colour is fantastic and it feels very light.
The cups are soft and comfortable, but I do find as my boobs settle throughout the day there is some wrinkling at the top. I tried the GG but the wires were too narrow and cups definitely too small, so I think it's more my full on bottom shape than the size.
The wires do run very high under the arms and were quite painful for the first few wears but have softened off after a few washes and are ok now.
The band is a bit loose compared to my deco and other cleo bras, but ... not enough to size down, just something to be aware of.
The shape is incredible, worth putting up with a few minor discomforts. For an unpadded bra, it lifts and rounds like nothing else! It's not the same as a padded or moulded bra, but is wonderful for days when I want something a bit lighter.
Highly recommend this bra, but be aware of the high wires and slightly loose band.
