This bra will always make me think of the time I saw it in public. A girl working at a hip vegan restaurant in New Orleans was wearing it under a sheer shirt. Such a great way to show off such a unique bra
I found a good fit in a 30E Lily, and a good fit in the 30F pink Marcie (runs small?). I just happened to get to try this bra. Most of the fit issues were from at first having the straps too tight, but then the cups were still a too open on top for me. I think I'm truly more of a 30E though, and so a 30E would be better. The wires are also too wide on a 30F for me.
First thing's first: the band is very tight compared to the other 30 bands I own. I've been using with the extender hooked onto the tightest set of eyes, so it feels like as if the bra came with 4 sets of eyes. In my opinion this feels nice and firm, kind of like the Cleo Meg when I first got it. When the extender is hooked on the second set of eyes, it also feels firm, although I haven't worn the bra all day at this setting so I can't write what it feels like. I will update this review when I get ...the chance to do so.
Would I recommend going up a band size? Probably not, since the stretched band of the 32E is about 5cm bigger than the bands of my well fitted bras. Although if you have a chance to try on both, you'll be able to make a better judgement on which fits you better.
The cups fit nicely. My breasts are fuller on top, and with this bra I don't get any cutting in at the tops of the cups. The shape is also nice and rounded with good lift. I would say compared to the Cleo Lizzie, it feels like there's less breast coverage with the cups. Overall, I feel well supported. I haven't had any problems with pokey underwires, but I'll probably need to bend the centre gore outwards as with my other bras I own.
Stylewise, I like the print a lot, especially the mesh portion. I think the colours go well together, and I agree with cbear that the clouds remind me of Super Mario clouds. My only real complaints are:
- I wish the cups were a mesh material like the Cleo Lucy and Lizzie. I just like mesh for some reason.
- The tag on the back is really annoying. The bra itself feels comfortable but the tag does not.
Update: I wore the bra yesterday with the extender hooked on the second set of eyes and I found that the bra was comfortably snug, I would say slightly more comfortable than with the extender hooked on the tightest set of eyes. Just for fun, here's the bra's stretched band measurement with the extender attached.
Tightest setting (like having 4 sets of eyes instead of 3): 76.5cm (approximately 30") Second set of hooks (like having 5 sets of eyes instead of 3): 78cm (approximately 30 3/4") Loosest setting (like having 6 sets of eyes instead of 3): 80cm (approximately 31.5")
Update2: I've been wearing the bra with the extender on the loosest setting so I feel that I should have bought the 32E instead. Read more 353 more words
This bra fit the girls pretty well and kept them perky and in place. The top of the cups did wrinkle(mostly the lacy bit)but mostly on my right/slightly smaller breast. The band was a bit tight at first, but it's a brand new bra so better a bit tight than not enough support. Even so I think I'll be moving up to a 32 band size since I don't like the band too tight. With the scoop and swoop technique there has been no back fat. The only weird thing is that the cups are set rather close so the girls look a lot closer than they normally do. It doesn't cause a problem it just makes me look like i have narrow set boobs instead of the slightly wide set I naturally have. The only uncomfortable part is the center gore, it really digs into the sternum, i think it is too high. The bands are really soft, I love the seam in the middle of the cups. It kept me from having my headlights!
The band on this bra fits more like a 28. It gapes a little bit at the top and the wire at the gore presses into my larger right breast a little bit. In spite of that it is my favorite bra so far! The fabric is sturdy and it gives great support. The shape it gives is nice and round. The lower projection is perfect for me. The colors are absolutely vibrant and beautiful!
Definitely a really cute bra, and I like the feel of the material used for the cups! I didn't write a review for it initially, while it still fit, but now that I've lost a little bit of weight, I can't fill out the tops of the cups and the lace is wrinkled. I'll have to save this one for when it's near my period, now. Quality is really great, as it's been holding up well for months! Band is really firm, and does take some getting used to, but it's really comfortable now.
I love how this bra looks on it's own and how my breasts look in it. However the band is very tight. Right now with an 1.5 inch extender it fits comfortably enough to wear all day. I bought this on clearance online so I couldn't exchange it for a better size.
