Normally I don't go for real "girly" bras, I'm more of a "meat and potatoes" kind of person when it comes to bras, meaning I normally go for more understated and practical designs, think solid print t-shirt bras. But something about this bra just drew me in and I needed to have it.
It's really cute, even if I don't do the cuteness factor justice. Being a mesh band I thought it would be very stretchy, but to my surprise it is nice and snug. It's more of a balconette style and has non padded, sewn, three section cups which is hard to find ...in my size. I have never been able to wear a balconette, the wires have always been too narrow for me, but these wires are wide enough for my wide roots.
Overall it's an ok fit, but the wires don't stay put and slide down. This could be one of two problems, either the cup doesn't have enough immediate projection or the straps are too long. I have the straps shortened to the max, so I can't tell if it's bottom cup depth or the straps causing the issue. Being shallow, I've always had the opposite problem of the cups riding up so I wouldn't think the cup depth would be the problem. I may have the straps shortened a bit and see if that helps.
Even with this issue it's still comfortable to wear and cute, but doesn't provide the support I though it would.
There's a lot to like about it since the material is very smooth and the cups aren't too thin for me, without needing to be padded or anything. My shape is shallow but thin cups can show nipple bumps, so this bra took care of that. However, I found the band to be on the tight side, which made it uncomfortable. Maybe this will get fixed with some more wear.
This bra is ok for my shallow breasts but I think I would prefer one that fit a little better. The comfort is great but not spectacular "pillow for my boobs". This would definitely be something you could wear all day. The push up is great. If I were a little fuller on top, it would be perfect.
The push-up padding in this bra pushes me into slight quad-boobing even on my smaller side, and while the band runs expectedly tight for a strapless bra, it still isn't tight enough for me to keep from sliding down except at the innermost hooks (I am more 30D, but this was given to me as a free bonus with a 30D bra by a generous person). There is a single non-slip line on the upper part of the band and there are stays in the wings, but the back is only a single layer of mesh with only two hooks, so it probably won't last long. ... It definitely isn't my style, but since I don't have any strapless bras in my size and those are notoriously hard to get a good fit for as a shallow, close-set lass, I am keeping it until I have something that does better. Speaking of close-set, despite the upper width of the gore being .75" when I have only a .5" allowance at the 2" height of a gore, the keyhole cut out in the gore lets it push together closer without rising onto my breast tissue, so it is able to lie flat.
Style-wise: Regardless of my own taste, the colorway is called Cheetah, the actual print is some kind of camouflage/leopard combo, and there are pink and gold tiny rhinestones glued on the removable pink satin straps which in this used version already have lost several of their mates, leaving little glue dot memories behind. This is the best fit I've found so far. It's a tiny bit narrow in the wires and I've rapidly gone from wearing it on the loosest hook to the middle. It's comfortable worn all day, although the elastic is a smidgen scratchy. The top of the cups fit the line of my breasts perfectly. This review was written after five weeks of regular (but not daily) wear with careful handwashing and air drying of the bra on a regular basis.
