Normally I don't go for real "girly" bras, I'm more of a "meat and potatoes" kind of person when it comes to bras, meaning I normally go for more understated and practical designs, think solid print t-shirt bras. But something about this bra just drew me in and I needed to have it.
It's really cute, even if I don't do the cuteness factor justice. Being a mesh band I thought it would be very stretchy, but to my surprise it is nice and snug. It's more of a balconette style and has non padded, sewn, three section cups which is hard to find ...in my size. I have never been able to wear a balconette, the wires have always been too narrow for me, but these wires are wide enough for my wide roots.
Overall it's an ok fit, but the wires don't stay put and slide down. This could be one of two problems, either the cup doesn't have enough immediate projection or the straps are too long. I have the straps shortened to the max, so I can't tell if it's bottom cup depth or the straps causing the issue. Being shallow, I've always had the opposite problem of the cups riding up so I wouldn't think the cup depth would be the problem. I may have the straps shortened a bit and see if that helps.
Even with this issue it's still comfortable to wear and cute, but doesn't provide the support I though it would.
SUCH a cute bra!!! The fabric on the outside is luxuriously soft! Seriously can't stop touching it. The little bows are adorable. The seams on the inside of the cup are pretty low profile but could possibly be irritating to some during long periods. I don't THINK I would have an issue and I'm pretty sensitive. The projection is good and the wires are decently narrow, although not quite narrow enough for me. The gore is nice and low. The straps are slightly too wide-set for me, the cups are too small, and the band is slightly too loose. Probably because the cups are too small, the gore does not tack. The straps dig in near my armpit, which could be both because the cups are too small and the straps are too wide-set.
Very comfortable. I measure 32 in. on the band, but the 34 fits nicely, not as snug as a 32 band, but I can wear it on the center hooks. The cups hold the breasts well. It's a bit too shallow and not deep enough, but not so shallow that there's quad boob.
I am really excited about this bra because it's one of the first ones I've owned that truly fits me. The hot pink leopard is a little garish and I almost passed it up because of that but I'm so glad I didn't. As I broke it in it seemed a little tight and the side of the cup chaffed my armpit a little but after some extended wears it's basically like not wearing a bra at all. The fabric quality is decent and everything is soft and breathable and somewhat stretchy. The strap width isn't ridiculously far apart like other bras I've tried so the straps never ...fall down. The most problematic aspect of bra fitting for me is the gore because my sternum is pretty exposed but this bra doesn't feel like it's touching my sternum at all. I was surprised to find this is a demi cup because the coverage is pretty full for me. I generally wear looser clothing so I can't attest to lines showing but the shape under clothes is very flattering. Overall this is an ok bra but the fit on me is so perfect that I'm in love. Grabbed another Retro Glamour on sale off of Herroom. This bra is so comfortable I barely know it's on, and the fit is all together perfect. I love the outrageous color design on this one (Pretty Kitty), but then I've always been a sucker for hot pink.
I love this bra! Mostly because the pattern is so fun, but also because it fits well. The band is a hair on the snug side but not so much as to be uncomfortable. The seaming in the cups does show a little under a tight fitting shirt but it doesn't make the shape look strange or anything. The straps are a little wide set for me.
This is my first time wearing it. It is very comfortable (and cute!) and it has moulded cups. The underwires actually fit my breasts perfectly which I find interesting because I have not yet found a bra to succeed in that area. I have been told the shape is reminiscent of "Ewa Michalak CHPs even." I have even breasts and would definitely recommend this to someone with similar measurements who is looking for a moulded cup bra.
edit: However, the vertical seems are pretty prominent through many shirts. Wear with thick tops or layer up!
This bra is too small for me in size 30C. It is a good shape for me though. It is made for people who are shallow, have broad roots, and have far apart spaced breasts. The cup is very open on top, so it is good for people who are FOT or have even fullness. However, as it was one size too small in the cups, I quadboobed.
I am very impressed with this bra. I picked it up at Century21 on a recent trip to New York for $11.99! Though I don't really like the light blue colour, I was not going to be picky at that price.
This is one of the most comfortable bras that I own. The band is a bit too big, so I have to wear it on the second hook already. Other than that, the wire length and cup width are perfect. I find a lot of bras too narrow, but not this one. While the lift this bra give is not stupendous, its comfort makes up for the lack of shape. I also think with a better fitting band the lift would be better.
My only remaining question is why doesn't this come in 28 bands?!
