This bra is weirdly creaky. Amazon reviews mentioned it, and wow, yes, it is a problem. It's not as noisy when it's being worn, but any move that stretches the cup makes the creaky noise. It's far more noticeable when handling it.
This bra fits, mostly. I can't see any obvious fit issues, but something about the fit bothers me. I think it's the way that the cups just barely fit me, and how any movement basically causes gaping. I expected it to fit since I've tried similar cuts by Betsy Johnson (the retro glamor, I think), and that one fit like a dream, except for the too ...large band and too loose straps. The straps were fine on the Starlet Lace, but the band was likewise too big. I tried it on on the tightest hook straight off, and it could have been tighter.
It's a cute enough design. It's quite comfortable, though I can't speak to long-term wearing, since I put it in the return pile.
It's a good bra for wide, shallow roots. I think I was just a tad too shallow for it, though perhaps it would work better during bloat week. Read more 88 more words
This is probably my favorite bra out of all the bras I own. It's very comfortable and I love the flirty feminine details. The band measures less than 30 but is stretchy and comfortable. The lace along the upper edge of the cup cuts in just a little bit but not enough to quad or create a weird shape. The wires fit really well and the cups give me a nice round shape.
I love this bra! Mostly because the pattern is so fun, but also because it fits well. The band is a hair on the snug side but not so much as to be uncomfortable. The seaming in the cups does show a little under a tight fitting shirt but it doesn't make the shape look strange or anything. The straps are a little wide set for me.
This fits really well on my shallow 28DD breasts in a 30D. I Have it in two colour ways though, which seem to have slightly different fits. The gun metal one feels smaller to me than the cream one, which fits me the best. I don't know how much variation there is across other colours in the range. If you are looking for a shallow friendly bra I'd say this one is a good one to try!
Theoretically this fits me in 30D but their were some minor issues which going down a cup size resolved. I completely fill it but it provides no where near the lift and shape the 30C does. The 30D made my breast look splayed outwards almost and not lifted. It also rubbed me where the straps meet the top of the cups. These issues were completely solved by the 30C. For reference, my usual size is 30D.
The band is loose and stretchy which I don't mind too much, but 28 inchers who like their bands snug will probably not get on with the 30 inch band.
Excellent fit for wide set, broad base breasts. No quad boob or armpit fat! Comfortable, all day wear. Stretchy and lace at top of cups a little itchy.
I really like the way this bra fits. My boobs are very shallow and deflated, but I don't get any spillage anywhere and gives a nicer shape than I would have naturally. It is fairly full coverage on my boobs. I do have a tiny bit of wrinkling in the right cup, but that boob is quite a bit smaller than my left. It's not noticeable under clothing.
I have two small issues with the bra. The seams are incredibly prominent and show through all of my t-shirts and tanks. It also pinches the skin at the gore. It causes me no discomfort, just looks a bit funny.
This bra doesn't fit me but I am still pretty happy with it. First of all, it's really cute and was only $22 on amazon. It's wearable while I search for better fitting bras and will continue to be great for the times I just want to wear something cute and comfortable around the house. The design shows through more than I'd like, but it's ok because I didn't buy it thinking I might have found the Tshirt bra I was looking for.
I have it in a 30D which is pretty far from my actual size. I plan on taking the band in and/or using a rixie ...clip. The cup is too small but the 30DD didn't help that because the size increase was in the side of the cup rather than the front. The straps on the DD were wider so I felt like it was the worse fit. It has a J hook in the back to convert into a racerback. I like this as it gives more support. My pictures were taken with the bra worn like this.
It looks like the quality is lower than the popular brands that go for $50+ but you can get them for a reasonable price. This bra comes in a lot of really cute colors, which to me is the best part of the bra. It is also soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, it's out of the size range of many people on this site, but if you're looking for something really cute and not too costly and you think there is a doable size, I'd recommend trying it.

I lived in these bras before I knew my correct size. Wish I could convince myself to still wear them... I wore the white one to death, the purple one's bows on the straps were itchy so I had to cut them off. A good bra for someone in it's size range--- good price, comfortable, and cute!
I think this bra is pretty darn stretchy aka not the best quality. Furthermore, the way the strap forks before it attaches to the cup can cause a lot of underarm rubbing. Perhaps shorter torsos should stay away from this bra. The meshy lace on top doesn't always lie flat, but at least it is not made from an itchy material.
Update: I sized down on this bra to 30C. The straps are still a bit wide, but the bra is more comfortable now and doesn't bruise my armpit. I still feel Betsey Johnson Eyelet Lace is a far superior version of this bra and better suited to my shape.
Nice comfortable bra, but I wish there was more oomph? It is lined for modesty but doesn't help much with shape and the vertical seems are obvious under a slub shirt, although I realize they are what help a bra lay well with shallow breasts. I do think that the gore is too wide for me, the wire sits on my tissue instead of beside it. I do like the wide set straps. I think if the cup were shorter I think I wouldn't be seeing the wrinkling due to my own apex being more splayed that the bra's, and there is some wrinkling side and bottom ...in the smaller of the two in the 30d, but it feels more comfortable than the 30c (which is supposed to be my 'sister size' for 28d) in order to fit my larger breast to prevent it from pulling my bra out of position. I wish the band was tighter, I can get a whole hand under the band on the tightest hook, which means I can't tighten up the straps as much as I'd like before it slips over the smaller's tissue. I love how wide set the straps are, it gets all the breast tissue right to my armpit that I have with my wide and tall root breasts. First bra I've tried outside TLBC venture, and I am pleased enough that I would keep it if nothing else works, but I will keep looking, as well.
A nice bra, it fits well but not a favorite. The wings are short for my taste but not a fit problem, the band is very stretchy (but also not a serious fit problem), and the color I ordered is hideous O.o I don't think I'll keep it.
I am the second owner of this bra. We both wore the bra one day and then gave up making it work for us. The first owner wore a purple top which caused some discoloration on the sides of the cup. It is otherwise in perfect condition. Hand washed and air dried, but as it's only been worn twice, it's also like new. The cup shape is too big for me and isn't totally compatible with my shape. It's very comfortable, has a super stretchy band and is overall something I would recommend everyone new to good bras try since the shape seems to be great for even projection.
Either my breasts are getting bigger or Betsey Johnson is cutting its bras smaller. I'm inclined to think it's the latter, based on some of the measurements between my older 30D - Betsey Johnson Intimates ยป Eyelet Lace Demi Cup (723325) and the newer ones. It just means that I now need to size up a cup to 30DD especially during my period.
I love this bra. It's been my constant for many years now. I have it in all the basic colors and some not so basic. Generally, I'm not buying the color for the color but to stockpile on this bra, lest it cease to be manufactured. However, Betsey Pink is a really fun color. And I usually find pink anathema.
It's absolutely pretty. It provides great lift and molds the breasts into the most lovely, full shape even though it is neither a push-up nor a padded bra. It merely has a very light memory foam lining, which I quite like since it helps prevent nipping.
The demi cup ...is truly a demi on me, though I've seen in photos of others that it offers more coverage for others. When my breasts become fuller around my period, I do find myself spilling over so much that I cannot wear it under t-shirts. For such days, I did purchase a 30DD.
I do wish it offered more side support, which I find I need as I get older.
I keep my fingers crossed that Betsey Johnson will never discontinue to this or cease offering it in a 30 band. The band does stretch out quite a bit over time, so much so that I've thought of altering the band to extend the life of each bra a bit.
