My opinion has been changed! I tried both the Harper (padded) and the Hailey (foam lined) in 32AA when they first came out, and hated them. Turns out both aerie memory foam styles run very small/narrow in the cup. With the original styles (bold colors and ultra smooth fabric), I would absolutely recommend sizing up in the cup. Probably the back band too, as my 32A Hailey feels wonderfully like a 30B. The new lacy models feel like they have a looser back band, but I think the cups still do run narrow.
The Hailey is a nice foam lined bra. I love the unique center gore. The underwire ...doesn't make a "u" shape in the middle, separating the breasts; they meet at the gore pretty much parallel to the band, and there is a little bow to mark the spot! It is similar to my La Senza Show Off cradle bra. This shape of underwire works really well for me, I think it must be very forgiving of different breast widths. Now if only they would come in 30s! Stretched out a lot, there's definitely too much elastic in the band. The cups gap pretty badly (very noticeably in t shirts and sweaters), and don't go high up enough along the sides to gather all the tissue in. If the band were tighter, it would work if I cinched the straps tight, but it's too loose.
After trying on the 30B, I realized how loose the band is on me for the 34AA. Cups are too narrow, so my boobs are spilling out the side, and gaping badly in the center/top.
The band fits okay, I think the 30 band fits a little better for me though. After swooping and scooping, my boobs kind of escape the cups and I have to shove my nipples back in. It's definitely too narrow for me, and I find the 30B fits better.
Too big around. I love the appearance and even the materials and construction of Aerie bras, but they are just way way too big for me (and most of their clientele, whether they know it or not). I actually altered one that I have to make the band shorter but that just brought the cups around way under my arms - now it's a minimizer.
It's such a pretty color! The lace is a nice touch too. Unfortunately, it is too small. My boobs work their way out toward the center and before long it's a nipply wardrobe malfunction. Other than the boob spillage it's pretty comfortable.
good fit, just a tiny bit too loose in the band. i think this older paige has the perfect amount of padding: enough to create a flattering shape, but nothing fake. similar to the current bridget; a little more push than the current paige.
Sadly this is the most comfortable bra that I own. It's cute and I've had it a while and it has worn well. Unfortunately the fit is not quite right for me (I need a smaller band). The cups fit fine for the band size but really I should have a different size altogether. Overall it's an OK bra though and I'd recommend it if it fits you!
It's comfortable, versatile, inexpensive, and comes in a variety of colors and patterns. And it holds up really well, I wash and dry mine by machine and they still look good as new after 2 years!
A really nice bra, good for date night and special occasions. Doesn't dry well, so washing it is a challenge, but definitely gives a good "pushup" look.
Bought it for our first anniversary, ordered it online but got my usual size. The fit was pretty different from other Aerie bras, but it was super cute and not too uncomfortable.
