It's a perfect fit, like it was made to measure. I have slightly shallow to average projection and wide root. I was recommended 32C/D from ABTF calculator and 30D/DD on here. My breasts have never looked so good in a bra, I can't believe this is all me!

This would be perfect if it provided any lift at all. Instead, I feel it drags by boob downward, making them look shallow and stretched. I think narrower wires would be nice.

This looks lovely on you :-) And, to read that it is soft and comfortable is endearing. Congratulations!

Although I'm not in the 'teen' demographic anymore (haven't been for a long time), Aerie has become one of my favorite brands for bras. You can always find their bras on sale and clearance, they are well made and wear well, and you can find solid colors with minimal embellishments that are suited for the "older" demo. The Aerie Sunnie has become my favorite best fitting bra. As you said they tend to cater to the smaller end of the bra size spectrum and I find many of their bras have shallow cups, which is perfect for my shape.

I'm 50 - So definitely NOT a teen, lol! It sounds like you have similar needs with your shape. One of the reasons I post here is when I find something nice I want to get the word out! If it hadn't been for Bratabase, I would never have understood what always went wrong with bras and me. I am so happy you found Aerie, too. A brand is finally making something right, and the prices are amazing! This similar eyelash lace bra at Nordstrom is $128.00! http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/for-love-lemons-loucette-underwire-longline-bra/4399389?origin=category-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=ROSE

So happy for you. I totally understand trying to find unlined/lightly lined bras in small sizes, but I think the trend in the natural look is slowly helping provide more options than the typical molded cup push up styles.

I'm so glad you found a good one! I just got some aerie bras today and sadly they really don't fit well at all.. Very happy to hear someone having success with them since they are so affordable!

This is the model I used to wear before I used the calculator. When I saw they know carry a size very close to mine, I had to order. It still is a bit bug in the band (since it’s is SO stretchy) and the cups don’t quite fit either. I think it is a shape mismatch because it doesn’t sit on my IMF. The super soft material makes it pretty comfortable anyway. I am using it until I find my perfect bra.

I didn’t know Aerie made cups above DD. This is actually close to my size too, though I doubt I could get a molded bra to work for me. Good to know!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this multi-way pushup bra!!! My new favorite and will be buying more. I usually have problems with quadding, gapping, band slipping down, and boob flattening when it comes to strapless bras, but this has been the best so far! Not too much pushup padding but enough to give me some oomph, gives a nice round shape, and doesn't make me look completely flat-chested. Very comfortable to wear for a long time and stays up. Love the nude color with the smooth cups and pretty lace band.

After trying just about every other aerie bralette and returning every one of them, I stumbled upon the @Sunnie Bralette and ordered a couple in large. I wasn't hoping for much. but I had to try. To my surprise, they fit pretty darn well. It gives decent coverage and support and that's all I'm looking for in a bralette. My boobs don't smoosh together and they're not falling out. The bralette stays in place and it's super comfortable! This is a bralette I'd feel comfortable wearing under lounge wear around family or friends that are staying over or outside letting my dog out in the middle of the night. I'm more full on bottom, so it's even more exciting that this bra gives me decent support and shape. This was a great find for me and I'm going to buy a couple more!

    XS DD

    Didn't fit

Aerie's classic lace bralette (and the lace halter bralette) come in sizes "XS DD" and "XS D" now, but online only. These sizes are meant to be a 30DD and 30D respectively I'm guessing based on their size chart. I got the classic lace bralette in XS DD and have provided the measurements here.

The upper and lower bands are thin (0.3") and fairly stretchy, so there's not a ton of potential for support. The band length does run TTS. I had to use some might to get it to stretch to 30", so 28-band wearers might find the band OK as well.

The straps are thin (0.3") minus ... the decorative lace. They are semi-adjustable and have a J-hook so you can turn them into a racerback which I find handy.

The cups are shallow and wide and don't have much centre coverage. They run small as well, more like a 30D.

I found there was not much support to be had in this bralette, but I say that with the caveat that the band size is one or two sizes too large for me. I found the sizing of the XS DD to be like a 30D so if you wanted to order the XS D maybe size up. All the materials are very soft and comfy and it looks pretty as well. This is a great bra for lounging and maybe more if it fits you better than it fits me!

Does anyone else own this model? Or are you interested in trying it??

Ooo, I'm always looking for bralettes with cup sizes to try!
I tried the "Never Say Never Curvy Hook and Eye Bralette" from Cosabella in a lingerie shop, in size XS, and I really think it was true to size on the size chart (30-32 DD-F) as I needed it on the tightest hook and the cups were just a bit too full-coverage with slight wrinkling for me. She didn't have the Petite to try on in store (28-30 DD-F), so I want to order one to try. I'm 28E/30DD depending, so it would probably work perfectly. But being $70 for a bralette (!!!!) I want a coupon code. :P

    • yeah i'm always looking out for that combination of cozy and supportive in a bralette! but $70... yeah that is a steep price for one :|

    • I recently got a Scoop Chill bralette from aerie in small and it’s great. I’m thinking maybe I can even do xs because it’s stretchy and a longline and I’m a 30F/FF.

    • Calluna Oo I like that one! Looks kind of like the one I got from Target, the "Simply Perfect by Warner's® Women's No Dig Seamless Wireless Bra." (Silly name, nothing is perfect, but it is comfy :P) I'm sad as I've had it for half a year now and it's stretched out. It's a pull over as well so it was bound to stretch eventually! It comes with round pads that can be removed whether you want nipple coverage or not. The striation effect in the fabric under the breasts are actually more firmly stitched, so as to try to act a bit like underwire support. I am also smaller size (28E) and have breasts that don't touch, so can't say whether or not it would act as separating, but the bra really worked for me and even looked great under t-shirts! Was well worth the $20, will have to get another. :)

    • I stand corrected! Wrong bra! It just looks like mine :P The one I have is the "True & Co. True Everybody Women's Adjustable Strap Scoop Neck Bra." Interesting though, as they have similar tighter stitching.

I have wide set, tuberous, bottom heavy breasts, and short roots. This bra will work well for you if you have similar breasts. It is difficult to find bras because I have such a unique shape. A lot of the bras recommend for my type of breasts are usually D cup and beyond (Freya, Cleo). I haven't been able to try those because my breasts aren't large enough. I was pleased to find an affordable option that is easily accessible to me. Although, this bra isn't going to make you look "bigger" it doesn't enhance whatsoever.
Keep in mind, I haven't worn it for an entire day yet this is just the fitting room first impression. I will update after a full day of wear.

I wanted a comfy bralette-like thing that I could show off under sporty tops. This is it!

Very comfy and surprisingly roomy, I believe the Aerie Chill lineup might have some things in store for those of us who traditionally have to deal with poor coverage and too large bands in Aerie bralettes.

I would estimate the size S fits 30DD-F comfortably. If you're a 32 band and like a firm band, I'd say 32D-E, but I think the M would be more comfortable and would probably fit 32DD-F. Sadly I don't think this bra can really go beyond a F cup, but it's comfy as heck and provides good support for what it is (it is NOT a true sports bra however, I wouldn't recommend it for any kind of impact sport, even light impact).

Very tempted to get a second one, since they just added a nice blue and a red colour to their lineup for this bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I've been thinking about trying some of their bralettes. Do you think that it's big enough for a little bit larger breasts like 30F in this small size?

    • Another beautiful Aerie on you :-) :-)

    • So pretty!

    • Calluna, i used to wear the xl aerie bralettes when i was around a 34gg/36g. Now that I've gone up a band size and a couple cup sizes, they no longer fit me. I wish they made these in 2xl-3xl! Anyway, my point is, yes, you can wear their bralettes.

I tried this on at American Eagle last week, since the top doesn't come in 32DD I decided to try a 34D using the store locator I found it at a store nearby. It was a good fit, but I decided to buy online instead since Aerie was having a $10 swim sale with this top included (sale ends today 7/6). The top is actually decently projected, yet still gives some cleavage, and it actually has narrow wires too (I didn't actually realize until I measure, they somehow look and feel a bit wider). I do have a longer review on my blog with tons of photos including the dressing room shots.

I love this bra! The fabric is so soft it feels like the bra is hugging me when I wear it. It also has a nice sheen to it, and is very smooth.
I got this in two colors, a Magenta-like color (this one) called "Retro Glow" and in black.

The band does run small if you're thinking about getting this one (I usually wear a 28 band and this fits perfectly, stretches to 28.5").
I've been looking for a push up bra in a 28 or small 30 band for a while and am happy to have found this bra by Aerie! The push up isn't too intense, I would ... rate it a 2/5 on push up level (5 being Victoria's Secret +2 cupsize bra, but your boobs don't move with you if you turn too fast!). The push up is pretty gradual, I think it looks pretty natural.

The Retro Glow version of this bra has cute little cutouts on the straps in the back, you might be able to see it a little bit in the photo with the label showing, but the black one has normal strap attachments. It's also a wide band which is nice to keep smooth lines under clothes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Overall I'm happy with this bra and definitely going to keep it! I hope it fits well for my first full day of wear (I'll update this if it doesn't!).

    • I am glad that you like it! I myself love the Aerie Sunnie and the Aerie Sunnie Push-up.

    • What a lovely coloured bra. The fabric does look very smooth and looks like it has nice smooth lines that will not show under clothes. I would be happy with just a little bit of lift and i agree that it does look very natural. Oh i love the little cutouts very cute and a nice touch. I love wide bands in my bras and this bra looks perfect for what i like. I am happy that you like it and am happy with it and the fit.

    • Pretty color :) The Sunnie is one of my favorites. Such a comfy bra :)

    • You're lucky Aerie carries the Sunnie in your size - I've tried the 30C/30D for the Sunnie pushup but I can't fit them 😭 I can't find a bra that is nearly as comfortable as the sunny pushup! I love the colour and the fabric material too!

    • tkhkat do not fear, there are still plenty of well-made bras in 30DD and 30E!

    • 1

The Sunnie (non-pu) is my favorite right now also. I find the Sunnie push up to have a little too much padding for my taste. The Bridget is about as much padding as I like.

Do any of you find the band in the push-up runs smaller than the band in the regular Sunnie? I first bought the Sunnie in a 34 and it stretched out so fast I couldn't wear it after about a month, so I bought it in 32, wore it with an extender until it stretched out and now it's perfect. When I bought the Sunnie Push up I also bought it in 32, but it hasn't stretched nearly as much and I'm still using and extender (which I hate).

    • Unfortunately the band is too loose to keep my boobs in place on the third hooks. It fits fine on the tightest hooks though, and they were buy one get one $10, so I think I'll keep them and just accept that they will be short lived!

Aerie's Hannah bra is nearly identical to the Sunnie Demi Coverage lightly lined bra. The Hannah that I have has a band that tapers to a narrower height than Sunnie, but, other than the fact that Hannah bras are exclusively made of cotton, it is the same model as Sunnie Demi. It's nice to have a white cotton bra on hot summer days. This wears well under white t-shirts and it's a soft, super comfy bra for everyday wear. It's very basic, and it works exactly the way I want my boring white bras to work.

The two swimsuit tops I've reviewed are available online only, so I wanted to show my experiences in case anyone here orders from Aerie. This is my second flop with Aerie bikini tops. Honestly, I usually purchased bikini tops in Medium, so I should have known better, but I wear Aerie bralettes in XS and S, and Aerie bras in 30D and 32C. Since I'm so small busted, it would seem like too-small would be unusual, but I'm one of those people with tall wide roots, and this causes fit frustrations. I posted a review previously on another Aerie crop bikini in size XS. The ... straps were not adjustable in the first style I purchased. In this style I purchased S, The straps are completely adjustable, including the band around the rib cage. Overall, this is a better fit, simply because it can be adjusted. However, the cups are SO small! Perhaps those with less pliable tissue could wear this and not look like a cracker pressed against a marshmallow, but not so with me. This top is beautiful! I'm going to try Medium, because I like it so much, but I wanted to let you know that, in my experiences, Aerie bikini tops runs very small. Unless you have full, firm tissue, you may want to consider sizing up.

    Didn't fit

I'm writing this review merely to caution any of you who may want to purchase Aerie swimsuits online. Aerie tends to be inconsistent in sizing amongst their various styles, but this one is especially off. I haven't measured this top, because it's basically a ring of fabric with straps. This bathing suit is sold online only at Aerie. It looks great in Aerie's photos, of course, and it was on sale... Since I wear Aerie's bralettes in XS or S, I purchased this bikini top in XS.

It's too small, in every way except the straps; which are too long. Go figure. ... In this case the problem with the fit is not just my pliable tissue. The so called "cups" are so, so tiny they aren't able to stretch at all. These photos are taken with the liners out of the cup, so you can see the fabric is pretty substantial. It's super cute, and I love the color, and the matching bottoms, in Small, are perfect. I'm going to try this in another size...Often my bathing suit tops are Medium, so I should have thought of that before ordering.

Just wanted to warn you all before you possibly waste shipping charges and time, that Aerie swimsuits seem to run ridiculously small.

I am ambivalent toward this bra. I like the band a lot, it is firm and structured and stays in place even if I jump around. The 32 is tight enough to fit my 29" rib cage very snug at the loosest hook. I love the nine points available for strap attachment if I so choose to add them.
However, and this is true of every single strapless bra I have tried, the cups are too closed on top for my only slightly FOT breasts. I'm working on stretching out the top edge to reduce the effect, which seems to be lessening the issue a ... little bit, but not enough yet.
This bra is VERY heavily padded. It has slots with removable padding and even after taking those out it is still roughly an inch thick in the base of the cup. It is hard to imagine anyone wanting to add more.
I have close-set breasts, so I pinched the gore to .9" wide at the top edge, which just barely leaves the center bra strap attachment point usable but helps my fit significantly.
