Well, the much anticipated arrival of my third attempt at Poison Ivy has come. Finally, one I can keep! Yay!! However there are a few points I'd like to make about this particular bra, especially in comparison to the Free Time I also ordered and will review in a bit.
It's still just as pretty as it always has been. I feel like a sexy woodland fairy. The band is TTS - stretches to 28" exactly. Cups are narrow at 5" and allow for immediate projection. One caveat here - it is shallow by the gore. Anna told me it's ... the same pattern as Free Time (and I imagine quite a few other Comexim plunges) but there's something quite different about how it fits in comparison to my Free Time. I think it's the material - it feels thicker somehow. The gore soft tacks, and really wants to float at the top. I noted this on the fit checklist, but on the personal assessment I said it was okay, because I think this is the best fit I will get in Poison Ivy. It tacks better than the reduced 60HH I tried. The 60J gore did completely tack, but it was massive everywhere else. It's possible that I could have requested a 60J with like a huge 4 cm cup reduction, and maybe it would have tacked, but I took Anna's advice and just went down to a standard 60HH.
I think Poison Ivy is a slightly different bird for Comexim. It gives me a hint of actual cleavage. It acts like it wants to be a push up bra. It's definitely the bra to wear if I want to go out and put the girls on display. Everything is up front, together, and says "hello boobies!!" Since I don't do a lot of taking the girls out these days, it will be a mini-adventure in itself to see which of my shirts it works best under. But this bra has been The One I've Chased Forever, and I'm so glad I have it in my closet now. It's so uniquely gorgeous and I just cannot get over that hunter green.
