It's a Gazeta! It's a Gazeta! It's a Gazeta! I'm a lucky girl indeed! Band runs small, cups run either taller or about a half size-ish big. Overall I find it comfortable, others may disagree. Immediate projection is good, the wires are a little wider than other CH/Ps, and I don't care! It's a Gazeta!
OH MY. This is just stunning. Really. The fit is spot on compared to my other 60HH half cups. I have nothing new and earth shattering to say about it, there's nothing strange or unique about how it fits... the copper ribbon really doesn't close off the tops of the cups, at least in the 3HC pattern. I'm in love. Narrow and projected as per Comexim standards. Full review on the blog!
Am I the first to review the half cup cut? When these two bras were releasead, I loved the colors and aesthetics of Sonia better than Victoria. But now having tried both, I like the fit of Victoria better. It's a better technical fit. It helps it's my correct size lol. I thought it was a single seam half cup (Anna even said so) but mine has 2 seams. Maybe mine is mutant, but I don't care, it fits great.
I nervously asked Comexim to basically completely customize this top for me and they went above and beyond. I had it made in the 3HC pattern with straps moved in 2cm and made to be convertible. Anna threw in the bottoms for me. I'm in love with this company. I really cannot say enough about Comexim and I wish they'd get their communication issues straightened out because from my experience there is very little they aren't willing to do for their customers. This is wonderfully narrow and supportive, and the convertible straps take the sting out of being unable to find a good halter bikini top. It feels like it was made for me, probably because it pretty much was! The 3HC cut is my jam, seriously. Full review on my blog!
I bought this bra for one reason. It's yellow. Not neon yellow... a nice, soft, lemon yellow, and there is a serious lack of yellow bras on the market that might fit someone with projection. I intentionally picked a 30 band because gateway backs tend to make me look like the Michelin man. I was hoping to avoid having 4 back rolls and this band accomplishes that while still staying secure on the middle hooks.
I've gathered from reviews of the Fancies padded half cup longline that it's a generally terrible bra with very flexible wires and zero projection. Thankfully I can report the ...unlined plunge version is much sturdier. I'm aware a lot of Freya plunges require a very specific shape and I expected this to wrinkle at the apex while cutting into my upper root but it really doesn't do that. In all honesty, this is one of my better technical fits which was a sweet surprise. It's not as comfortable as an Ewa or even a CK, but it is Freya and I didn't expect the world here. Very narrow wires, very good immediate depth. Very wide gore. I'm splayed and it's short so it doesn't bother me although if it was any taller it would and it would bother a lot of people who are close-set all the way to the IMF. The gateway back is fun and a little more delicate to look at so I've let it show with strappy back shirts without feeling like I'm telling the world HEY, HERE'S MY BRA BAND.
I know this bra, with its wide keyhole gore and single hook band, isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea. But it satisfied my craving for a pastel yellow summery bra on the cheap via Amazon so I'll keep it around. Read more 204 more words
I got lucky and got my hands on a Cleo Piper!! I had to sister size up a band due to availability and pray. Overall I'm desperately in love with it. It's projected, fairly narrow, stunningly gorgeous... and I'm way behind on my bra reviews and just got this in yesterday but I felt it was important to get this review out to the masses ASAP before Piper is released on a large scale, because there are Two Glaring Problems that I think are going to affect everybody who tries this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> and I know a lot of us love it. I'd previously avoided Ewa's PL cut, assuming it would be too wide and shallow at the wire on me with too tall cups. But but but... this is a bra I missed out on as it was discontinued prior to me finding ABTF, and it was long on my "love this and will never have it" list. I'm so over taller gores, I've gravitated towards short gores (and looser bands) lately. When I first got bras that fit I was all about super snug bands and lots of separation. I don't know if I'm becoming more sensitive with age or what lol, but all ...my 28 bands feel like they're suffocating me lately even though my measurements haven't changed, and I have been shoving cotton balls between my sternum and my balconettes. So when this popped up for sale on here, I thought well why the hell not!
Turns out it works pretty well on me! Yeah it's a little tall/big on my smaller side, but I hate using cookies so I deal with it. I don't find it slipping out of my IMF, at least not uncomfortably so, and I'm over super narrow wires too. Just because I *can* wear 4.8" wires doesn't mean I have to, nor do I want to, nor do I need my boobs THAT front and center 24/7. This bra is very comfortable, beautiful, I don't spill out the center, my boobs don't touch in the middle (which also drives me crazy), and that makes it a win in my book. Now I want the PL Lovely, the PL Dark Magenta, the SM Tattoo, and the new M cut she has out.... and I also want to win the lottery!! Read more 187 more words
Beaaaauuutttiiful bra I've loved for a long time but never bothered to order in a 3HC until now. Fits like every other Comexim 3HC I've ever owned. Has slightly wider wires for whatever reason. Narrow, immediate depth, open on top, yadda yadda.... full review on the blog!
Typical Comexim quality and narrow, projected fit. Super excited to have this stunner in a half cup, especially now that my plunge is too tall https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> I love the allover green lace and think the two bras look different enough to justify keeping both, which is good because I'm sentimentally attached to both. Yes, I love my bras.... it's kinda sad LOL. Band is on the tight side of TTS but should stretch easily like my plunge did. Full review on the blog!
I was purely giddy when I was able to snag this bra secondhand, and at a killer price. It's obviously been worn some, but it's still in great shape. I adore the unique lunar pattern and it is so soft!! Very comfortable. The cups run a little taller than my other 60HH's, I think that was a common problem with Comexim's older styles especially. Still wonderfully narrow and overall an acceptable fit. Full review on my blog!
