Didn't fit

So, the much-anticipated arrival of my music pattern bra is here! This lovely bra is made by Kinga, a little known Polish manufacturer and can be found on misterna.pl. I had no idea what to expect, but since I am a pianist, I couldn't turn down a chance to try a bra with music on it. Where else are you going to find a music note bra?? Nowhere, that's where!!!

So, this is obviously very unique. Quality is good - the overall high level of attention to detail is really nice. This is truly gorgeous. It's a 3 part cup, with a seam pattern like Comexim's plunges and the top portion of the cup is stretch lace. It's absolutely not shallow at all - definitely allows for plenty of immediate projection. Yay!! I think it would work well with all shapes except maybe extreme FOT or FOBs.

Sizing:
Kinga uses Euro sizing, and 65 bands are the smallest available. 65H should convert to UK 30FF, and I find it runs big. The wires are wider than I need at 5.75" and the cups are deep for what should be an FF, at 10.6. I think this bra is more of a UK 30G than 30FF. So the whole thing is a little big on me, and as a result I lose a bit of lift and shaping. Since the stretch lace is asking for more boob than I have, I wind up with somewhat of a pointy shape. The cups are not stiffly molded at all, so I think this is purely a result of the bra being too big. The band is TTS, so it's also too big. It stretches to 30" - and straight to the tightest hooks it went on me.

The band is what it is. They don't make 60s. I could tighten the band. I cannot, unfortunately, make the cups any smaller. Ideally, I need to size down, and if all Kinga bras run like this one I'd say if you want to try them, it might not hurt to figure out what your UK equivalent size would be and then size down one cup. I'd love to re-order this in a 65G, so this bra will be listed. All you music loving 30G's out there - someone buy it so I can order a smaller one!

This bra is not owned any more

  • Wow, that came pretty quick.
    How was the ordering process?

  • Really easy. Took just under 2 weeks from order to arrival. I emailed them to make sure they had my full phone number and address and they wrote right back, corrected my shipping cost, and then once I paid the rest of the shipping charge (it was like $2 more than I'd already paid via the website) it shipped out the next day!

  • Jj this is a new model to the website, is there a way to make sure the size shows up as 30FF (UK) not 30H, because it's not a 30H, it's a EUR 65H (UK 30FF). When I put the sizing in I didn't even give it a UK size because there isn't one on the tag, I just listed it as 65H (eur)/80H (france).

  • I've been wanting a music note bra, but I didn't really think I'd ever see one. Exciting!

lcl0706 Awwww...sorry the first try didn't fit! But so happy you shared an informative review & are thinking of re-ordering! (matching panties...matching panties... :)) Isn't misterna.pl great service & selection?! There are 10 on my list right now I want from them, if someone buys any of my listed bras. I sure hope one of the many music-loving brafficianados does a noble act of enabling for you and for me!

  • Well I got this one sold, and a 65G ordered. They are on vacation from the 18-26, so I'll have to wait, poo. Between that and Comexim being gone, I'm dying over here! But yes, I hope the 65G fits better! Here I was afraid the 65H would be too small LOL. I'm glad they run a little big.

Misterna definitely has a big selection! I wish this bra came in 60 bands but some of the other labels they carry have 60 bands. I've seen several bras I'd like to try out - although I have to say I was hoping the wires would be narrower. I really hope they are on the size down.

  • Can always bend 'em :)
I ordered Kinga, Gaia, Gorteks, and Konrad from misterna.pl. I've also ordered direct from Ewa Bien. None of them - all Polish/Estonian made - have wires as narrow as Comexim or Ewa Michalak. The Gaia's I got come pretty close, tho. All of them however are suitable for projected boobs. And the gores are all fairly narrow, too. Honestly, the folks there are so darn helpful I bet they would send measurements...

  • I need ~5.0-5.2 wires. That would be a LOT of bending from 5.75" lol. Plus the cup was already too big, I didn't need any more projection. If the 65G fits better I probably will try to bend them.

Have you tried Kinga's "padded" styles? I'm thinking about trying the other music bra too, or some of their other "padded" styles that I like, that say they have removable pads like Ewa's "cookies" but it looked more shallow from the pics. There's no vertical seams, just 2 diagonal seams is all I could see?

  • I might copycat you and order the padded one. I am not usually into padded bras but I would make an exception for music print! Omg.

  • I've been looking at the Gaias too! They're all so reasonably priced. But if the wires aren't as narrow as Comexim, I don't want to wind up spending money on cute cheap bras that aren't a perfect wire fit. I've got to stop the addiction and stick to spending money on bras that really are perfect for me, even if they're more expensive. I will make an exception for this music bra though. So much awesome.

  • Oh and runs_with_scissors if you order, you need to email them immediately afterwards with your full address and phone number, since American addresses don't fit into the spaces in their online forms, and they will likely bill you via Paypal for the correct shipping amount. They wrote me back immediately, and in English. The first email I sent, I wrote both in English and Polish like I would Comexim, but I think jennyanni said someone there speaks English so this second email I sent yesterday I just wrote in English.

lcl0706, I bought a Kinga "Gaudi" model #BC169, in 70H (32F) and it is a perfect fit. I too am narrow and projected; that one is 14cm width x 28cm depth - exactly what I need! Guess I just got lucky...maybe like other brands there are variations? It's not easy to tell from the pictures, and they don't show the measurements that I can find, but I bet they would provide them if you ask! They are so super helpful!

  • They are super helpful - they emailed me back this morning, even though they're on vacation, to tell me they'd corrected my address and shipping charges on my 65G order, and that it will ship out when they're back on the 27th.
