This bra and brief set I've managed to receive today, earlier than the release date, and arriving only a week after I ordered it! Possibly as it was my birthday (my boyfriend got me a EM voucher which I used last week) and possibly because I saw the upcoming preview from BraObsessed (who I would have bought it from but my voucher was for EM!) and I asked her nicely.

Anyway - as I'm the first, I've taken all the measurements, and taken loads of photos of the bra and briefs.

The bra band runs a band size tight! It stretched to 28 inches (this stretched band measurement I ... added to Bratabase)! I couldn't do it up. But I thought NO...no I do not accept this. I want this bra to work. I don't want to send it back. I thought right... first I'll try stretching it out a bit, as bras end up stretching anyhow and if that doesn't work I'm using an extender.

After stretching it, I then managed to do it up first time. I just took my super tight and it's 28.3, snug around 30. I just measured the stretched measurement again and its now around 29/29.5. Excellent... it still runs tight though for a 30 but at least it's now wearable for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Okay so the quality is great as you would expect. I find the zig zag hem a bit scratchy but I just have sensitive skin.

The cup lace is a teal kind of colour, the bows are ivory, the straps are an icy blue shade, and the inner lining is beige.

The only thing that isn't what I expected is that the inner beige lining can be seen above the bow from the front. Actually one of the bows just fell off, so that's another thing I wasn't expecting, though I think it may have been my fault as I think my nail struck it. I will have to re-attach it. The other bow is well secured so I'm sure it's an outlier.

The cups allow for a fair amount of immediate depth, and give quite a pointy look. As my boobs are slightly fuller on top, the cups are on the verge of having the neckline digging in, which you can see in the side pics

The band has four columns and two rows of hook and eye fastenings

The straps are too wide for my frame, and I'm considering moving them inwards so they are centre-pull in style.

Otherwise, it is so beautiful. I absolutely adore anything in cold green tones. A rival to my CHP Mietusek.

As for the name Mohito, it definitely looks the part.

While I’m in a period of wakefulness (and not coughing my guts up), I figured I’d review the two 65Gs that were sent to my friend in LA for me to pick up while I was there on holiday this past weekend.

The two bras were sent to me from someone in one of my Facebook groups. She’s pregnant and won’t be able to wear them again for a while, so she sent this and the S Orzechowa Pralinka to me as part of a really kind offer. I was unsure if 65G would be too big or not, as I only knew that my former 70E S ... Szykus was too small. I just wasn’t sure how much too small it was. Given the great opportunity to try this size and cut, I decided to go for it. I figured that they might be too big without the cookies, but fit with, and if they don’t fit at all, I’d pass on or trade with the same good vibes/karma with which I received them.

I have tallish roots that are shallow and narrowish. My fullness leans towards center full and even, with a little bit of fob. My tissue is soft and malleable, as well as pendulous which adds to the functionally fob and short roots (tallish but shallow). I gained fullness on top and on bottom with the growth that I experienced in the fall last year, but my soft tissue still doesn’t play well sometimes. It’s a bit like putting pudding into bras sometimes. I need depth at the wire and only average depth at the apex.

The colour of the Mojito is stunning! The teal lace that overlays the beige 3 part foam cups is like the colour of the ocean on some tropical islands. It’s a perfect mix of blue and green. The straps are a lighter shade, and the center gore bow is even lighter. I was told in advance that the bows at the straps were cut, and I admit that I am totally fine with that and might actually prefer it. Hubby was kind of confused with the different colours used instead of the same colour all over, but I think it’s ok. Because it’s a full lace bra, this means that it’s a tighter band, and it’s definitely snugger compared with the 65G S Orzechowa Pralinka. I wore it as is all day Saturday and was ok, but I did notice it more than other bras. I did have red marks that took probably 20 minutes to clear? I did not time it, as I was finishing packing and trying to get to bed early for our flight the next day wa 8:30am. I played with an extender when I was first trying it on, and it loosened up the cup some, but not significantly, so I might try to play with it some more. It’s got beige cups and cotton lining for the cookies, so it’s potentially visible from certain angles. I think it’s ok for me.

The fit of the cups is pretty close to the fit of the 65G S Orzechowa Pralinka, in that it’s too big without the cookies, but fits pretty well with the cookies. That said, I think that this one might be a smidge shorter and maybe a teensy bit more open than the Orzechowa Pralinka. It’s possible that it is just a trick of the lace covering the cups. Again, as with the other one, I’m curious to see how much of the gapping I can fill with swollen post ovulation/pre-period boobs. I suspect it will not be enough, but close. I might be able to remove cookie from the larger breast, or I might need to keep them in the whole time. I have a 65FF S coming, so it’s likely to fit better without the cookies, but it’s going to be interesting to compare the two fits. Straps are Ewa straps...not as bad as I was expecting, and fairly comparable to my current Ewas. Part of the leotard back elastic periodically wants to flip up weird...it’s not the end of the world, but it’s a bit annoying at times.

As with the 65G S Orzechowa Pralinka, I initially marked the fit as does not fit, due to the fit of the cups without the cookies, but marked it as it does not bother me in the assessment as I know that it fits with the cookies. The pictures of me in the bra with and without the cookies is quite evident once you see the angle pictures, but everything is marked. I don’t have any pictures of me in the Orzechowa Pralinka under clothes yet, but it’s pretty identical to what the Mojito under the sweater is like which I did take and share

Ultimately, I prefer this one of the two bras, despite the fact that it’s the tighter band of the two. I think that it’s a great match for my skin tone and it makes me happy to see. I also already have bottoms to coordinate with. I will have to keep my eyes out for other Mojitos in 65FF/70F as I’m not fond of needing to wear the cookies to make it fit. I lose some much needed precious immediate depth that way, so my preference is to put them in on an as needed or desired basis rather than always have them in. I will definitely try to get this in one size down if possible, but as it is discontinued, I’ll hold onto this one for a while. It’s a great colour for spring and summer.

This bra is a lovely teal colour and very comfortable, even by the end of the day. It fits really well on the tightest hooks (band is TTS) with a cookie in my smaller side. The straps are substantial and wide (I don't like skinny straps), easily adjustable, and softly brushed on the underside. Thanks for the trade, Calluna!

The color of this bra is absolutely spectacular, a brilliant turquoise that reminds me of mermaids or the Caribbean Sea! I'm in love with the rose-motif lace also. The fit of Mojito compares to my other S cut bras in every way, except that it gives a shape that is conical and pointy-as-all-get-out. My S bras tend to get a bit rounder and less torpedo-esque after being washed and worn a few times, but this one has a particularly extreme silhouette. I'm not sure if it's my individual anatomy (it very well could be) or the pattern of this specific bra, but it looks dreadful under clothes and is a deal breaker for me. Because I love the color so much, I'll be re-trying the Mojito in either the CHP or BM shape.
