I love the fit of this bra. The band is quite stretchy, but the cups keep the natural shape of my breasts.

    First thoughts:

Oh FSM, the band is huge! I would do well with a 28GG had it existed. I can hook it on the last set with extreme ease. Any looser and my breasts slip into the band. So sad. But all in all I am in love with this bra. I wore it all day and there were no glaringly obvious issues, but time will tell.

I love longlines so much, and I am so happy I finally have one. One problem is that the front rolls upwards after moving a bit. In the future I think I might attempt to sew in some pieces of plastic or ... silicone strips or something to help keep it down. It is not a huge problem at all, but I would prefer the bra to stay as a longline while wearing. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

The bra itself is quite pretty. I love the colors together; black, white, coral, and navy blue. There is a double bow on the gore, and a single bow at the base of the straps/cup. Straps are heavy-duty sturdy, my goodness. They feel like a quilt and are wider than the straps from other brands. It's really nice; I don't think they'll be slipping any time soon.

I've been searching for a longline bra for a while, but being a 28GG/H, my options are slim to none. I bought the Freya Ivy longline in 30G intending to wear it on the smallest hook, and then alter it as it stretched out. Unfortunately, like many Freya bras, the band on the Ivy runs QUITE loose, so even being a longline, it felt too loose right out of the box, so I will have to alter it right away. Dissapointing, but not terribly surprising.

The cups are a wonderful shape. I was concerned that the cups would be too wide, but they fit beautifully, ... and are comfortable all over. The pattern is a breath of fresh air, after all of the pink and purple and florals and lace of the lingerie world. After a few adjustments to the band, I suspect this will quickly become one of my favourite bras.

The quality of the bra is decent - well above what you would find at a department store or Victoria's Secret, but after a few Panache and Ewa Michalak bras, it's a tiny bit of a letdown. The longline band is not reinforced in any way, and feels a little bit flimsy, and the tensioning on the stitching is slightly off, so the seams ripple.

Such a pretty bra, but I think it'd be better for a FOB pair of breasts- I fit the bottom nicely, but theres so much gaping at the top!

I love the look of longline bras. So obviously, I've been lusting after the ones that Freya has been marketing these past few seasons. The Ivy is no exception - I love the print, and the style itself is so beautiful.

As far as fit goes, I get really great uplift, and because the band is so wide I feel nice and supported. However, I find that ones again the wires are scooping out wider than I need, and the outer edge of the cup (where it meets the band) is a bit too wide and cuts into my armpit. There is also a tiny bit of gaping, so I think I'm going to exchange this for a 30FF and see if that solves all 3 problems.

Update: Sent this bra back to Nordstrom in exchange for a 30FF - we'll see how that one does.

Again, Ivy is super cute! The fabric is forgiving, looks great, gives a flattering shape and lift, hides under most of my clothing, and it just all around flattering. However, I am still worried the band may stretch out too fast. Also, while this bra fits my larger breast, the smaller breast is swimming. It doesn't look bad under clothes, only when it's just me and Ivy. This bra is definitely for non-soft breasts with projection and is good for bottom heavy tatas.

C'mon, Freya. Let's work it out. Stop being so particular with my boobs!
