Finally a strapless bra that works for me. I was skeptical because on reddit's abrathatfits people said they didn't like the brand, but I read reviews here and picked it up for only $30 on Poshmark. Totally worth it. I think if this style fits you, than it fits you well, but it won't fit everyone and it is an unusual style. I have "east west" style breasts and a petite frame and this is the first strapless that has fit me perfectly. It touts "no underwires" but it is definitely not a soft bra. Instead it has hard plastic pieces that kind of remind me of a superhero costume or a corset. I love that feeling personally and feel very supported. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain. Anything touching that area is uncomfortable, even if it fits properly, so I'm really grateful for a strapless I can wear everyday.
Cup comes up half-a cup size larger for a even/FOB 30DD, it'll fit better in a very FOT 30DD/even 30E breast.
Pros: - Give a perfectly nice round appearance under clothing, pretty much like what Freya Deco gives. - Probably a better substitution for Freya Deco range since there wont have the "gaped" issue Freya Deco gives to a lot of users. - Firm and tight band. Could fit best in a 28 band, usual 30 band wearer might need to go up a band size for comfort. However is still large wearing on the inner most hooks for a 24/26 band me. I'm waiting for my Rixie clip to ...arrive and see how it goes.
Cons: - 3 1/2"-space hook!! Not convenient to use with normal extender/Rixie clip - Half adjustable strap!! One of the features that I hate most. I can't adjust short enough for my high-set breasts and short torso. >.< - Stiff cup and underwire. I hope it'll be better after a few wash. - Cup are about 6" tall, the underwire poke my armpit.
Not recommend for high set/shallow boobs and short torso person.
edit after 1 month: added an interior lining through the lower lace so now the band supports properly and I do indeed fill out both cups at my larger time of the month, but the cups are so shallow on the bottom that during the day they gradually push downward until the underwire is an inch below my IMF and the straps begin digging painfully into my armpits. This is definitely a show bra, not a wear all day bra.
I got this bra for my bigger days, so I'll amend this when I hit those. In the meantime, the design is gorgeous and the fit is ...surprisingly good for my smaller days too, but there is definitely room to grow. There is a little gaping with my smaller right breast right now, but none on the left. There's also padding built in to the molded cups, which I don't love but I can deal with. My measurements ignore the 1.5" wide lace border on the bottom as it is too soft and stretchy to take part in the fit. There are also three rows of four hooks on the back, making it feel a bit like a pseudo long-line, but there's no power net or other form of support in the main body of the wings (just a single thin layer of stretch satin), so all those hooks don't feel like they're providing any additional support and that's a shame. Also surprising for a 30 band with such flimsy wings, it only stretches to 29". My main problem is that the wires are a little too U shaped for me, which appears to be the reason I have had my very first experience of wires digging into my sternum with this. My is that painful. The issue can be temporarily resolved by pushing them through the casing to the top of the outer edge because there is a half inch of wiggle room to shift the wires, but other than stitching them into place in that position I will also try to bend the wires out in the center to relieve that pressure.
Wires can also dig painfully when there is extra cup volume that isn't being filled. The breasts don't push back outwards against the whole front of the bra, allowing the normal tension from the band to cause the wires to press uncomfortably against your sternum. I would save this for when you are having an uptick in breast volume or else put in a small cookie or pad to help get the right volume to keep it comfy on you.
This bra looks so pretty from the front! I'm not really any good at this, but trying to learn. Are you filling the bottom of the cups? Normally I'm in the more hooks the better camp, but these hooks almost look like they don't belong in this bra. Regardless, it is a beautiful look, I love the way the seams radiate on the cups.
Because the style of the padding has the push start from a half inch up from the very shallow base of the bra, my tissue that doesn't get pushed upward gets flattened out below that point. Between that and the very firm mold, it is nearly impossible to tell what is and isn't present. Sc2401 I am strongly considering adding some tougher material to the wings that continues under the lace so that the hooks will actually have a consistent tension top to bottom, because that front is just too pretty to give up on. wendybien it's plausible, but I've tried on a lot of bras both too big and too small for me and never had this immediate sensation, and I found the wires weren't stretching at all despite the tension on the crappy band, so it didn't seem like they were being pulled. Since the only pain was from the very top inner edge of the wires and my breasts are so close-set that a 1" wide gore sits the wires right on my breasts, pushing them down and bending them out slightly seems to have worked for that problem.
I have even breasts, tallish roots, average-to-wide roots.

I was so worried that this was going to be horribly uncomfortable to wear once I took it out of the box and felt that weird, cardboard-y support in the cup. But I actually find this to be quite comfortable!
I am a bit worried about wearing something like this strapless, since the band is so short vertically and the cups are pretty tall. But luckily there's a lot of potential adjustment on the band (long strap adjuster with a singular large G-hook) so I can tighten it a lot. Runs a tight which is good for me as a 30 band ...is a little too large for me.
I am genuinely very surprised at how well the cups fit; it almost FEELS like I'm going to pop out (just due to the construction lol, half of my breasts aren't covered!!) but I think it really is very secure and makes my breasts look good but natural (no smooshing them together in the center).
Obviously being so small I don't really need much "support," and I don't think this bra is super supportive as much as it is for shaping and nipple coverage, but that's ok for me.
I don't predict needing to wear this often lol but I am very glad to have it around.
I think even if my breasts grow at some point in the future that the style of this bra would be forgiving of a larger cup size (probably would not do well for a smaller cup size than the size though) since it is so low-coverage and not supportive in a traditional way. Read more 163 more words
I feel "meh" about this bra. Seems like it's only useful for sexytime, but I've never worn it for any reason since buying it!
Sometimes the tops of the cups cut into my boobs. The cups are very "cupping," which is odd, to me. I find the top of the bra too high-cut, so it sticks out over any low-cut tops I would wear this under. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
It has NO push-up padding at the bottom aside from the creepy fingers.
On me, this strapless bra fits basically just like a regular bra, minus the little extra help of straps or push up, so I don't ...feel as secure as I'd like. I always pick another push-up, plunge, and strapless bra over this one if I'm wearing a sexy top.
(In my photos this bra doesn't look too bad, but I've had it for a very long time and NEVER worn it other than to try it on and regret buying it.) I think it would work well and even feel supportive on people whose breasts are softer and protrude more than mine.
The band is very tight; I need a 28 band and this is very snug and strong. So a real 30 might want to go up a band.
My measurements are 27.5" under and 33.5" over, simply estimating 28E but really floundering between 28E/F. I tried this in a 30E and it was too loose in the cups and I did not feel like my tissue was properly held in. So my sister size 30DD is a much better fit but I still haven't worn it. Oh well! Tried this strapless bra on in store along with a 30E (I am usually 26FF). The band fits tight, probably most like a 28, but it was too big on the smallest hook. It did stay up though, but I didn't try jumping or anything. The top of the cups curl inwards and cuts in, and I did not get the advertised cleavage due to my shallow boobs.
The bra feels pretty secure it terms of not slipping, but it does feel like my boobs are trying to push it down due to too shallow cup bottoms. My breasts pretty much want to jut out straight at the bottom then taper up smoothly. With a tight shirt the quad-boob is a bit laughable. On the up side, it's all hidden with the dress. Still, I would consider wearing my basque and maybe making a decorative back panel to cover up the part of it that shows in the back. The reason I'm considering sending it back is it's so durned tight. I think I have to start breathing lower in my torso. It's healthier anyway. On the other hand, the lack of underwire is pretty comfy. Too bad it isn't a more open cup style.
The term for breasts that jut out straight at the bottom is "immediate projection". It is different from just having a lot of projection, because people who have projected breasts just have an apex that is very far away from their chest wall. They may or may not be shallow around the perimeter of their breasts. If you have immediately projected breasts, it means that the projection is not just at the apex, but also at the perimeter.
I really love the way this bra was designed. It fits nice and tight and stays put with silicone along the band. Sadly, this size was too small for me in the cups and I've ordered the 30E to review later.
I really wish I could love this bra. On the surface, everything about it seems great. It fits, it was cheap (like $10 from a British shop on eBay), and it's got push-up padding that's removable. Great, I love push-up bras, I love cleavage. This bra? No cleavage.
It's wide, and it's pointy. The gore tacks, my breasts fill the cup, the straps don't slip, there's no quadboob...but the bra itself is pointy, and the pointy parts are not where my nipples are. I didn't try it without the padding yet - maybe getting rid of the padding would help - but when I put it on under a ...shirt, it made it seem like my boobs went all the way out under my arms. It. Looked. Bad. Or at least, it didn't look how I want my boobs to look
Not to mention, it's tight. Once I have it snapped, the band actually feels really secure, but getting it to snap is virtually impossible, and the band seems to have very little stretch to it.
I'll be keeping it just in case, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Read more 78 more words
Bra fits first ok but after a few hours the silicone/rubber band starts to chafe my ribcage. Larger band size might be perfect. Cup size is slightly too small so I suggest you to try one size up there.
Pros: It keeps my boobs tight in its "hands", bra looks nice.
This bra had extremely wide-set cups that felt like they were in my armpits. My breasts are very close together; this bra managed quite a feat in order to push them away from each other like that. It had the widest profile of any bra I have ever had on. Horrible!
