This bra runs small in the cups for me ( I wear a UK 30GG/US30J), so I get quadding on top and some spillage out to the sides, but you can't tell under clothes. The band runs tight and fits my 29" frame. The cups are made of a stretchy mesh material that provide decent support. I purchased this in 3 colorways, Beige, Black and Bright Blue. It is a good full-coverage bra that gives me a slightly rounded, but compact shape.
THIS. This bra looks so ugly in pictures, imo. In person it's fairly pretty. I am definitely altering this band once I get some practice, because the cups are perfect in every way. They give a very uplifted FoB shape, even to my left side which is difficult to achieve. It's somewhat pointy, but this is definitely the shape I've been searching for and within my current budget.
Cups are almost perfect. There's a fairly slack elastic across the tops of cups (or centers rather) which always lies on top of my boobs in this cut because they start up fairly high and close even though they don't immediately appear to. Luckily ...I'm shallow enough on top that it's hardly noticeable, because I really love this cut otherwise. Shape this gives is 100% what I've been looking for. Similar to Freya Eden unlined. So obviously the band rides up a little because it is a 34D. I bought this with the intention of altering the band. Unfortunately I couldn't find a 32DD and I wanted this bra to experiment with, so I wasn't about to drop $60 online.. in a few weeks I'm going to try altering it for a perfect fit, though at this point I'd consider purchasing online anyway because I want loads of these :] Read more 105 more words
A very pretty and comfortable bra with lace cups and mesh wings. The bra is well made and does not show under white/light tops if the color is similar to your skin tone. Original price was $62.00, but got it on sale at Burlington Coat Factory for $14.98.
I already had this bra in black over nude and now I also have it in the nude/beige. Like the black colorway, there is a lace overlaid on beige mesh but instead of black the lace is nude in color. It's not itchy, the style is full-coverage, and despite the cup not being stretchy, this bra falls into what I call the "sweet spot" for measurements/shape so it fits well.
Black lace over nude sheer, beautiful and comfortable full coverage. I was initially worried that the lace might be itchy when the saleslady brought this one in for me to try, but she was right - it wasn't itchy and looks great on. I am a big fan of "cut and sew" aka 3-4+part cups styles, so now that I have the obligatory few t-shirt style bras I'm going to start hunting for more like this bra. It isn't terribly stretchy but doesn't cut in anywhere, and *yes*, wide but not too wide in the wire.
By far my best fitting bra overall. Sad that I now have an underwire poking out after about 2 years, but wanted to measure for Bratabase before retiring it. I will be buying more of this one. No poking, gore totally flat in all postures.
I tried this bra on at Nordstrom Rack today and I LOVED it. It's superbly comfy. The band seemed stretchy for a 36 - I tried on another 36 Wacoal and I could barely get it on, so either that one ran really tight or this one is very stretchy/loose. As mentioned in another comment, it is definitely a t-shirt bra, as the top of the cups run pretty high up.
Overall, I am considering purchasing this bra. Only negative was that there was a horizontal line that ran through the cup of the bra (directly over my nipples) that was noticeable through one thin t-shirt. I think I will go back and try it out again, this time with a thicker undershirt, to see if the line is still noticeable.
Old-fashioned design that somehow feels fresh (my husband refers to it as the "doily" bra). I find that the multi-part cup is visible through a thin shirt, but is a perfect bra to wear with a sweater during these colder months. Great all day bra.
